[[HIGHLIGHT]]Chinese food spot at the Atlanta airport -- and somehow they were out of most items at 8pm on a Sunday.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] At an airport. Make that make sense. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ended up settling for noodles, some kinda chicken (the only thing left!) , and egg rolls.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The noodles were slimy and clearly overheated, like they'd been sitting forever.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Chicken was just okay, nothing memorable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Egg rolls were basically all cabbage with barely anything else going on.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]For an airport spot, expectations aren't sky high -- but this still missed the mark.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Sesame chicken and firecracker tofu with brown rice.

I was at the Atlanta airport and needed to eat something for dinner. There was a long line at Leeann Chin so it had to be good right? I chose the two entrees and one side option. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I chose the sesame chicken and firecracker tofu. I ate a few bites but noticed it was very salty.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The tofu was okay but I couldn't finish the sesame chicken.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The options needed a side of dumpling or egg roll and some sort of vegetable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Needless to say, I will never try Leeann Chin again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Look at the photo and notice the rice to chicken and tofu ratio. Who eats that much rice? Rice is a side dish, why is it larger than the chicken or tofu?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

They definitely are in a hurry to get people through the line but for a grab and go in the airport this was decent. Staff was friendly though. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They made tofu and green beans fresh for me as they were out, both were pretty tasty.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The Asian noodles were a bit bland and overcooked and didn't have any vegetables in them which was a bit disappointing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The menu caught my eyes. 2 entrees and 1 side for under $11.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Heck yeah. [[HIGHLIGHT]]But you get what you paid for. Exactly half a scoop of each. Portion is just enough to feed a 5 toddler.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Except I am a grown adult in my late 30s. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The saltiest food I have ever eaten. Lo Mein drenched in teriyaki sauce.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I couldn't tell the different in taste between orange chicken and sesame chicken.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Take my advice. Don't do it. There are other better option eatery in this airport. This is not the place. Highly disappointed.

Fried rice, Peking chicken and "mixed vegetables" which were green beans

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The food was mediocre[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], and the server was very rude. She yelled asking what I wanted before I was even close to the counter, and there were people lined up in front of where the entrees were labeled so I couldn't see what they had. She asked me again what I wanted and I told her I would like to see what they had first, and she mumbled several rude comments after that under her breath and to the other server. I won't go back here

I need to grab some food quick and I had a large appetite. This place was surprisingly fast and cheap. The food tastes better than it looks. Staff is nice but slow on cooking the food. I got the 3 entree combo and it is quite filling. The side was noodles and the entrees were sesame chicken, pepper beef, and some other chicken. Honestly, it all tastes like mystery meat with sweet sauce poured on. Live band was playing in the concourse and it was a little difficult to find a seat but that is not their problem.

Ordered the two entree while waiting for my flight. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Fried rice and the orange chicken tasted good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Did not look at the reviews instead look at the queue. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Food tasted great and pleasant experience from staff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ambience is good with charging station and tv near your table.

Not great but filled the void. Staff was very nice for an airport experience. Airport Chinese and I just don't agree.

Came here in-between my flights around 4pm on a Sunday. There was a line that I had to wait about 10 minutes in. This is exactly what I expected when I got airport food. It was very average but it did the job! I got a combo with two entrees and a side. They only had white and brown rice at the time. I got white rice with Thai curry and orange chicken. I let it sick a little but I still don't think it was super hot when I got the food. The portions were very filling. The orange chicken was pretty good and the veggies in the Thai curry were what I wanted. I paid around $11 for my food. It wasn't the best food I have ever eaten but it was filling and that's just what I wanted.

I came here after visiting the botanical garden, and I was HUNGRY…read more I ordered Grandma's Noodles ($9), the scallion bubble pancake ($5), cumin lamb ($12), and dry fried eggplant ($11). Everything was DELICIOUS. The scallion bubble pancake came out HOT, like hurt-to-touch HOT. It was crispy and airy. It was served with a side of mild curry sauce. The noodles, lamb, and eggplant came out hot temperature-wise as well, but they were also hot spice-wise, especially the cumin lamb. The spice levels cleared my sinuses, LOL. But though I struggled with the spice, I kept on eating because all of the dishes were delicious and flavorful. The tender lamb was served on little skewers. The dry fried eggplant was super crispy; the pieces were shaped like spicy fries. I liked Grandma's noodles even more. The noodles had that bouncy, chewy, hand-pulled feel and were covered in vinegar & hot chili oil. I appreciated the portions. Despite being an appetizer, Grandma's Noodles came out on a large plate, and for being small plates, the eggplant and lamb were pretty filling. The service was also friendly and attentive. My food came out quick, and the staff constantly kept my glass of water filled. My only annoyance was the $1 charge for the bowl of white rice, but the food and service more than made up for that small, inexpensive annoyance.

Parking: For anyone coming here for any occasion make sure you validate your parking with the restaurant. The ONLY parking lot they validate is the one right beside the restaurant! Drinks: I got the strawberry lemon drop drink. It was good and did come with the vodka flavor with natural strawberry syrup. It was good. The vegetable dumpling was good! On to the main entree was the House Lo Mein. It was just average and not the greatest I've tried. It took a minute before our server came back. To me it needed more flavor, seasoning and it didn't have any spice what's so ever! I wouldn't get it again. The thing I found annoying/unprofessional was the staff taking forever to give me and my friend out checks. We came into the establishment an hour before they closed. At that time a lot of people were still in the place. However, by the time we received our checks we were the last people in their establishment. The other individuals were the workers cleaning up. We tried to get a server to come to our table sooner but wasn't successful. This is my sole opinion but I wasn't over impressed over food.

I completely understand that the restaurant has business hours, but it was only three minutes before opening. Also, it's summer and the sunlight is very bright, making it extremely difficult to tell whether the sign is lit or not. The three-minute wait wasn't the issue. What bothered me was the way the staff member spoke to us. It felt more like he was lecturing us than politely communicating with customers. Unfortunately, this experience was enough for us not to come back, and I would not recommend this restaurant to my friends.

The whole setup is like a mini food hall with several authentic Chinese spots to choose from--but Chong Qing is where I landed. I ordered the crispy chicken with garlic sauce and swapped the white rice for a side of house lo mein (yes, it's an upcharge, but worth it). Everything came out on real dishes--not to-go boxes--which I loved. You order and pay at the counter, grab a seat, and they bring the food out to you. Now let's talk about the food... DELICIOUS. The spice level was just right--flavorful with a nice kick, but not overpowering. If you like it hotter, you can definitely add more heat, but I was perfectly satisfied as is. The lo mein was really good too--veggies were fresh with a nice crisp (those onions and carrots were hitting!), and everything tasted well-balanced. Only small note: I wish there was a little more meat in the dish, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. And let me say this--the portion size is VERY generous. I ate until I was full and still had just as much left to take home, which is always a win in my book. All in all, I'll definitely be back to try more. If you're in Chinatown Market and not sure what to pick, Chong Qing Hot Pot is a solid choice. 4/5 stars for me!
