Chinese food spot at the Atlanta airport -- and somehow they were out of most items at 8pm on a Sunday. At an airport. Make that make sense. Ended up settling for noodles, some kinda chicken (the only thing left!) , and egg rolls. The noodles were slimy and clearly overheated, like they'd been sitting forever. Chicken was just okay, nothing memorable. Egg rolls were basically all cabbage with barely anything else going on. This was a grab a bite before I catch my flight meal. The line was short and the price was reasonable. The lovely ladies behind the counter we friendly. I opted for the combo meal with two sides: Orange Chicken and Broccoli Beef with chow mein. Orange Chicken has a good citrus flavor but it was a little too deep fried for me. Broccoli Beef was a little too salty and the filler carrots were noticeable. Chow Mein was over sauced and scarce on the veggies. I was at the Atlanta airport and needed to eat something for dinner. There was a long line at Leeann Chin so it had to be good right? I chose the two entrees and one side option. I chose the sesame chicken and firecracker tofu. I ate a few bites but noticed it was very salty. The tofu was okay but I couldn't finish the sesame chicken. The options needed a side of dumpling or egg roll and some sort of vegetable. Needless to say, I will never try Leeann Chin again. Look at the photo and notice the rice to chicken and tofu ratio. They definitely are in a hurry to get people through the line but for a grab and go in the airport this was decent. Staff was friendly though. They made tofu and green beans fresh for me as they were out, both were pretty tasty. The menu caught my eyes. 2 entrees and 1 side for under $11. Heck yeah. But you get what you paid for. Exactly half a scoop of each. Portion is just enough to feed a 5 toddler. Except I am a grown adult in my late 30s. The saltiest food I have ever eaten. Lo Mein drenched in teriyaki sauce. I couldn't tell the different in taste between orange chicken and sesame chicken. I need to grab some food quick and I had a large appetite. This place was surprisingly fast and cheap. The food tastes better than it looks. Staff is nice but slow on cooking the food. I got the 3 entree combo and it is quite filling. The side was noodles and the entrees were sesame chicken, pepper beef, and some other chicken. There were no other customers besides me. It took 3 minutes of standing directly in front of the employee before they acknowledged my presence and took my order. She then topped off a food tray in a carefree and slow manner. Afterward, a customer arrived complaining that his food was rock hard. Upon hearing this, I took a closer look at the food and became a bit skeptical of the quality. The food did not look fresh sitting in those trays. I still decided to give the food a shot though. The worker then started chatting with the other customer for another 3 more minutes without doing any actual work , just chatting, so I let the worker, the idle cook, and the cashier know that if they didn't want to serve me , that was alright. I was happy to go elsewhere. I was thankful that the service was so poor because it likely saved me from getting sick on my flight. read more

Arrived Friday around june 21st 2024 930pm..purchased a 3 meal combo. Peking chicken, orange chicken and sesame chicken with fried rice..after 2 bites, felt something stringy between my teeth, discovered it was a 3 inch piece of human hair..returned the food to the counter, to staff replaced the food with the same contaminated food...also some of the staff began laughing when i told them how i discovered the hair...meanwhile i saw them continuing to serve the same contaminated food to other customers..buyer beware..asl half of the staff had no hair nets or gloves...even on the 6 previous times ive eaten at this restaurant, most staff,didn't have on hair nets or gloves. read more

Came here in-between my flights around 4pm on a Sunday. There was a line that I had to wait about 10 minutes in. This is exactly what I expected when I got airport food. It was very average but it did the job! I got a combo with two entrees and a side. They only had white and brown rice at the time. I got white rice with Thai curry and orange chicken. I let it sick a little but I still don't think it was super hot when I got the food. The portions were very filling. The orange chicken was pretty good and the veggies in the Thai curry were what I wanted. I paid around $11 for my food. This is one of my go-to spots in the Atlanta airport, and I've probably eaten here a dozen or so times. For those of you not from Minnesota, Leeann Chin is a lot like Panda Express, except they offer many more options. I like how I can get a very "meat and vegetables" meal here with lots of protein but also lots of veggies. Their thai coconut curry is really good, as are their garlic soy green beans. Many of their items are dairy-free. There usually isn't much of a line, and I appreciate their self-bagging station. While this definitely isn't the best Asian food I've ever had, it's pretty tasty, quick, and cheap considering it's located in one of the busiest airports in the world. read more

Interesting...as I read other more-negative reviews, it seems many felt the food was bad but the employees were great, and I actually had the opposite feeling- I took the experience with a grain of salt; 1. I prepared myself for overpriced airport food, 2. I prepared myself for greasy guilty-pleasure Chinese food. I opted for the double combo w. firecracker tofu, beef & broccoli, & fresh mixed veggies. The employees were quite lazy about serving & preparing the food- mid-day lunch hour & half the food choices were out or low because, "we didn't re-fill that yet"-my beef & broccoli was the bottom of the barrel, had no broccoli- before they officially scooped it, when I realized how sad it looked, I asked oh is there any more, maybe I'll get something else-but they scooped it and said, 'I've made your order". My husband's Mongolian beef was all bottom of the barrel as well with only veggies and maybe one-two pieces of beef left. While eating the food, it wasn't bad- the tofu was wonderfully crispy w. a very spicy but not overly sweet sauce- the veggies were steamed fresh- I didn't mind the food, I just with the employees put some care into the quality of knowing when to re-stock each 'barrel' of food, how to plate, and how to ensure they're giving 'bang for your buck'. Most of staff were great while others seemed indifferent or lacking in desire to help people. I ordered the Peking Chicken, and it's okay. They didn't have steamed rice. So, I had to get that. It's honestly the driest fried rice I've ever had. Strange to me that they had no steamed rice since it's easier to make, and it can cook without any supervision. It certainly would've tasted way better than the rice gravel being served. Also, the menu says the "Pick 2" comes with 1 side. Apparently, the rice is the side. So, my actually side order was a surprising additional charge. Half the items on menu were not available which is probably why the line was so long. So many people having to rethinking No their order by the time they get to the front of the line. Some kind of sign or communication could be helpful with this. I watched several people walk away angry. I thought it was only because it was taking so long, but then I understood once I got to the front. If they were understaffed, I'd have more grace for the situation. However, they are fully staffed, and it just seemed like they just didn't have a full staff of people who have any standards to what their serving. In regard to the ambience... This restaurant is a bay at one of the airport food courts. So, the ambience is as expected... general seating off to the side away from the restaurants. For this, I am thankful. Overall, food was just not good either in presentation or flavor. I arrived here at Noon on a Monday and options still are limited in the airport due to Covid. I ordered the orange chicken, honey shrimp mixed vegetables and half noodles and fried rice. The orange chicken was the best out of everything but still tasted like it had been sitting around warming for half the day. The Honey shrimp was worse as it had several pieces with inedible hard spots on the batter not to mention the tails were intact. The veggies were just old and disgusting as you can tell in my picture. They obviously cooked up old veggies that should have been long ago thrown out. I don't know which was the worst side item. The noodles were bland and tasteless while the rice only had a plastic flavor to it. Do yourself a flavor favor and avoid this place. read more

I saw the long line a figured that meant it was delicious...it's fair (at best) but this place is dirty. The 2 ladies slopping food into the paper carry out trays did not seem to like their jobs. 10 out of 5 stars for being the only GF friendly restaurant open after 8 PM in Atlanta airport. The taste is there, the value is there, and GF signage is on the menu. Had brown rice with double portion of bourbon chicken. The portion is more than 1 person can eat. read more

I can see why this business isn't 'claimed' on Yelp! They definitely get the award for employing the slowest moving group of people in the entire airport! To top it off, the lady at the register took a phone call before checking me out and said, "No, I'm not busy. What's up?' So so disappointed in this meal. Got the hot pepper beef and beef and broccoli, and both were not what I was expecting. Overcooked, watery, even soupy. The meat was in short supply, as was the broccoli. Instead, I got a bunch of minced carrots and what I think were bamboo shoots (not 100% sure). The fried rice was, likewise, uninspiring.
