Lee's Kitchen is serving up Chinese favorites with generous portions, fair prices and friendly service! I was in the area, and decided to give this place a try. It's located in a shopping plaza with a Petco, at El Camino Real & Bowers Ave in Santa Clara. I ordered Beef Chow Fun to-go. I was told it would take 10-15 mins because they were very busy. You can also eat there, as they have several tables. The decor is nothing fancy, but the place is clean and well lit. The Beef Chow Fun was very good, especially fresh from the kitchen. It was a large serving for $13.50, enough to feed two people. If you expect big strips of beef, you won't get it at Lee's Kitchen. The beef was in small bite sized pieces. It was a balance of beef and veggies. The flat noodles were soft and easy to eat. I would order this again. Would I return? Yes! Good food at fair prices! Free parking

I came here exhausted and hungry during the week. I dined in, and it seems like it's not too common for people to dine in. The owners seemed happy to see someone dine in. We noticed there were many to go orders. They are so nice and quick to serve. If you're not sure what to order there is a wall of pictures with dishes of the "favorites". The food was good. We had the dinner for two option #2 Chow mein, sweet and sour pork, fried rice, fried prawns We ordered a side of egg rolls My favorite was the fried rice -- I am not a big fan of fried rice-- but this one was pretty good. Prices are basic for the Bay Area. It's a good place for when you just want to get in and eat and get out without distractions and noise. It's quiet so it's easy to have conversation. It's perfect for if you're alone or a couple. Since they are popular with take out you can always order ahead. I didn't notice much for food safety: I noticed that the kitchen is tiny and they were doing some repairs. There is one -gender neutral bathroom.

This is a mom and pop restaurant serving authentic Chinese food. Great tasty good with good portion sizes, not too salty or oily. Service is fantastic! The owner is extremely friendly and warm. Nice ambience too with 8 tables total for indoor seating. They have delivery on Fantuan and Happy Panda. I ordered the salt and pepper pork chops (spicy), pork wontons, beef and green bean, beef hefen (干炒牛河)。

Almond chicken lunch special with chow mein ($+2)

Sweet lady who helped answer any question along with just providing a home feeling. I tried the Almond chicken lunch special with chow mein ($+2) and it was sauced perfectly and not heavily soy sauced with tender chicken and my daily veggie intake. Also large lunch portion. It's better than many other fast Chinese around my office.

They have also opened a location in Cupertino that is more convenient for me. Adding Mian to this plaza definitely livened it up, it was so difficult finding parking and then there was an hour wait when we joined the waitlist. We wandered around Grocery Outlet and Savers to pass the time. I came with a group of 6 people. We ordered the sichuan spicy fries and fried chicken cutlet to share. The fries were the spiciest item I had that day, wow! I ordered the Sichuan chicken cold noodles, extra spicy. They were not spicy at all. I left everyone at the table try them and they all agreed it was not spicy. Kind of disappointing, I expected them to be spicier than the fries at least. My partner had the chengdu zajiang noodles, mild spicy. They were good, the signature dish of the restaurant. I would return, but their spice levels are very inconsistent.

We waited for probably 15-20 minutes which wasn't too bad. The place is pretty big and fits a good amount of people. The food was great. Restaurant inside resembled a Chinese restaurant with throw away table placement papers. Overall, Beijing is fine. Food and service wise, I would favor others, such as Tong Soon, Koong, and Paik's. I get the jajangmyeon ($10.95 for a small) every time, mostly because the noodle texture is TOP TIER. There are also plenty of ingredients mixed into the sauce, although I find it a little salty sometimes. The tangsuyuk (sweet & sour pork, $15.95) is super crispy, and I really liked the tangy sauce with it. I personally prefer dipping the pieces in the sauce so they stay crispy, but you can also pour the sauce over if that's your preference!
