My husband and I wanted to try this place out because we were surprised to see another restaurant with the same name in my husband's hometown. It's a nice combination of both Chinese and Vietnamese option menu. Most of the tables were big round tables made for big parties, which is great. The food was tasty, flavorful and fresh. The spring rolls were good. The pho, I probably was better off getting my usual as I picked out the meats I didn't like but it was still a good dish. The Thai tea was a bit too sweet to my liking but my husband enjoyed it. Overall, the experience was okay. First dining experience here was excellent. We ordered the vermicelli with eggrolls and pork, pho with flank, and banh xeo. It was a very tasty pleasing meal. I will be back for sure. Went about 130p on a Friday. Restaurant was not even half full, so no wait to be seated. I knew what we wanted because it's always what we get. Menu is pretty extensive, but we just go for the usual. There is no Banh mi because this is a noodle Restaurant. I'm a fan of Banh xeo. It was great and filling. Love the crispiness of the outside, good amount of filling. The eggrolls and pork in the vermicelli bowl were also on point. Crispy eggrolls and tasty. Pho was also satisfying, only issue is, we don't care for grisly type meats, no tendon, no tripe etc. But I guess fatty beef means it's gonna have gristle. This place is definitely a hole in the wall for authentic food. The restaurant is split in two between Vietnamese cuisine and Chinese seafood. We were there for Vietnamese food and so was everyone else. We got hot tea as soon as we sat down and I surprisingly drank 4 cups! It was maybe a green tea mix but very comforting. We all tried the seafood combination pho - S1 is the way to go! I got rice noodles and hunny got egg noodles. Apparently, looking around at other tables, a lot of customers got the same thing. Definitely the hot spot for this type of pho. Broth was super flavorful and noodles were perfect consistency. The noodle dish was perfect to eat the way it is when it comes out. I added some sriracha and chili to my broth but later regretted because I feel like I ruined the integrity of the original soup flavor. Instead try dipping your meat on the side to preserve the integrity of the soup flavor. I finished most of my food even though I was stuffed; they do not skim on their portion sizes! The server asked if we wanted Chinese fried bread to go with our soup and I'm glad we got it! It came out hot and crispy and I almost ate my whole piece before my main dish a came out. Vietnamese Egg Rolls: these egg rolls exceeded my expectations slightly. Fried to golden brown, these egg rolls have the utmost crispiness without any bitter-burn taste. Embedded in the crispy skin you will find some minced pork and marinated carrot and cabbage slices. Dipped in the complementing fish sauce, these egg roll will have a crispy texture with a fine balanced sour and savory flavor. A solid option! Charbroiled Pork Rice: a plate of rice served under a staple amount of charbroiled porked -garnished by green onions. And sided by some picked radishes, carrots, and cucumbers. Underwhelming dish in my opinion, the charbroiled Pork is lacking a bit of the smoky flavor that I look for. The rice themselves comes at a generous amount as well, coupled with the pork, this dish will fill you up with a very reasonable price. Charbroiled Pork Vietnamese Bun: the vietnamese buns are often overshadowed by pho, and this was my first time trying this cuisine. I was very surprised at the layers of flavor it packaged! The buns are beautifully toasted to crispy, thin layer of mayo, and a generous layers of veggies. These veggies include bell peppers that will give you a light kick of spiciness which elevates the flavors of the sandwich. Lastly the charbroiled Pork, similar to the rice, is lacking flavors a bit in my opinion. But this really was an eye opening experience. Overall, Vietnamese Pho Restaurant is a pho spot that is similar to the majority of pho shops in town. With nothing really standing out and nothing that disappoint, it is kinda just there.. it's not a place that jumps to mind when I am craving pho, but it is one of the many pho shops that will flash through my mind as I look for a quick pho meal to satisfy my cravings. read more

I love this place !! It's one of my many favorites in china town . I love that is super chill and low key , up top on the corner away from everything . I mostly like coming here during winter but any season the food is great . We usually family style everything because every portion is huge . We've tried : garlic and green chillin pan seared scallops, salt & pepper calamari, pho , pork chops entree with salad and rice . Those are the items I usually regularly order for us to share . They serve you complimentary jasmine tea in the beginning of your meal and I love that . I took some pictures of the menu they have 2 menus because it's also a seafood spot /Vietnamese. I wish I could give negative stars. The Vietnamese food was horrendous. The waitress did not bring us water the entire time. She carried out a bowl of pho holding the edge of the bowl with her greasy fingers. C'mon, somebody is about to eat that stuff. The bún bò Huế tastes closer to bò kho, regardless it was terrible. Unfortunately, the line was crazy long as always but it was too freaking cold outside to wait. I thought this place would satisfy my cravings. CONS: 1. Rude old man at the front desk. Stopped by Vegas Chinatown for the very first time. I was impressed my the diverse offerings as far as Asian foods were concerned. While mainly Chinese, there were other Asian fares within the vicinity - Vietnamese, Thai, Filipino, Korean BBQ , and Lee's Sandwich (haha). Coming from Orange County, CA, where I am spoiled with authentic Vietnamese food, Pho Vietnam is simply a name. The minute we walked inside the restaurant, it was strangely huge - big round table for 8-10. There tables for four but not for two. Furthermore, the smell of Chinese "cao lau" - dim sum palace - pervaded the place. Strange atmosphere for a pho place. The server immediately handed us two set of menus - Pho Vietnam (redundant and suspicious) and Capital Seafood. We went for the Vietnamese menu. I asked the server if they speak Vietnamese and she said no. Looking through the menu, it was very standard with phở, mì, cơm, bánh canh, etc. I ordered a bún bò Huế and my partner order bánh canh thịt heo (udon with pork). The food was strange . My spicy Huế noodle tasted strange with overload of Chinese 5-spice. It was not bad but definitely not Vietnamese. They put a lot of tendons and little beef strips. The pork udon also tasted good with msg but NOT Vietnamese. They used Japanese udon not bánh canh (made of tapioca flour turned translucent when cooked). Both dishes were good. Service was fast and minimal. This would be 2.5 stars. read more

I originally came here to eat at Capital Seafood Restaurant, not realizing that it shares a space with Pho Vietnam. With two menus to choose from, I ordered from both! The Combination Pho #2 has flank steak, tripe, and meatballs (my favorite!) and a solid, complex broth. This was better than another nearby version I had recently, but not the best I've had in town. Amount of noodles was extremely generous. I only had a little of this dish, BF at the majority and felt ill afterward. I don't think it really matters what my Yelp review says because the majority of customers are locals who are clearly regulars and pack this place pretty good. The French iced coffee with milk is as strong as you'd expect and tastes good. I had the #49 Bowl of grilled pork, shrimp ball paste and a fried spring roll on top of vermicelli rice noodles. I was totally satisfied and it cost less than $10. Where else can you get satisfaction for less than $10? The parking situation is nuts on weekends and dinner time. The restaurant is on the second floor so you'll have to take the stairs or the really rickety looking elevator to get up there. I usually always try to eat pho at new places. The pho is as ordinarily expected. There wasn't much option of combos within the pho as I would like. For example, pho with tendon, beef meat, beef balls, and tripe. It was usually one or two of the choices or one. The pho list was around 7 or so but was more of item one is just pho beef meat (raw), item pho beef meat (not raw) so there wasn't really a lot of variety option for pho. I also agree with other eaters that this is definitely not a Vietnamese pho place and more of a Chinese food place. read more

Wow, I don't know why this place is rated so poorly. My friends and I had a great experience here. The service was friendly and they refilled our waters without needing to be asked. The food was also very good! Or at least, mine was =d I got the satay beef noodle, a special that day, and it was SO.GOOD. It was definitely the best satay noodles I've had to date. It seems all the other places I've gone, they've been too liquidy. It's so hard to get a good satay with a nice thick consistency and a strong peanut flavor but this place definitely delivers =d It also had a nice amount of heat to it. I used to think this is my favorite pho in Vegas but now I'm not so sure. I recently went and ordered the dac biet with extra tendon. The broth is pretty good, it's not as sweet as Pho Kim Long and not as salty as Pho Saigon 8. The extra tendon I ordered was way undercooked - so it was yellow and a little chewy. The worst part of the meal was that my server decided to sit at the table next to me and start clipping her finger nails. I was so worried that a little piece of her nail was gonna get in my soup that it ruined my dining experience. She had her back to me and I'm pretty sure it was her fingernails she was clipping, but I kept worrying it was her toenails. Either way f'ing disgusting. read more

The holidays are upon us which means I run screaming away from my family. No joke. I ended up a Pho Vietnam on Thanksgiving afternoon when a few friends didn't have plans until later and I got skip out on the family. Since it was Thanksgiving, we decided to head to China Town and we all decided on Pho. Entering the complex, we spotted Pho Vietnam and headed up the staircase. The restaurant is large and has multiple large tables. This was definitely a place you came to with the whole family. The restaurant was busy, spaced a little tightly, and was nothing pretty or noteworthy. We were sat right away, water and tea arrived shortly after, Vietnamese Iced Coffee, Pho, & Spring Rolls were ordered. I was bummed the Iced Coffee isn't steeped at the table. I love watching and smelling it brew, then swirling in the lightly sweetened condensed milk. Also, how long was the premade iced coffee been sitting. Answers I never got; nonetheless, the iced coffee was delightful. Our Pho came out, it was a decent portions, and a decent price. For me, a great pho has an amazing broth. A simple, yet complex flavor profile. I don't like to add anything other than veggies and spice to my Pho. I had no choice but to try and spruce this up. The broth was less bland than the time I tried instant Ramen. Meh. Our waitress disappeared and our spring rolls were MIA. I made eye contact with another staff member at another table, she rushed over, grabbed our spring rolls. The Spring Rolls were deep fried and that's all I can tell you about that. They were fried, you couldn't taste the vegetables inside, which were just mushy and off color. Not even fish sauce could save it. It was, for a lack of a better term, gross. I hate to be rude, but their food sucked. :( Someone in our party said the pho here was the best in the area. I had such high hopes too. Maybe it had something to do with the size of our party. I think we had 20 people with us and we all ordered some variant of pho. Maybe we used up all the broth and they had to cut it with hot water to make enough for us or something. My broth tasted like water with a hint of beef. I had to throw in so much basil, lime, pepper, nuoc mam and sriracha to make it edible. The instant pho I have at home tastes better, IMO. I came here with my lovely girl friend Kim, who hates me because I scratched her face and hurt her emotionally from time to time, and the place wasn't as bad as i expected.
