Lees sushi is located in the food court area downtown. He delivers high quality sushi at a reasonable price. The rice is still warm when yiu taste it leaving you craving for more. He has over 100 different creative combinations. He is known for his 10 dollar bento boxes. He also has japanese soft drinks like calico and strawberry milk. At the food court unlike the other places he gives you actual nice plates to eat from not cheap disposable plates. Going the extra mile in presentation in a place not expected is key. His 5 dollar california rolls and sweet havana rolls with plantains are a daily sinful delight for me. I have also tasted his crispy, crunchy delicious shrimp tempura which was phenomonal. I recomend this place as your casual sushi place. He is posted on uber eats which makes it easy for delivary.

Tuna tataki...very fresh but sliced too thick

I've walked by this new sushi place a couple of time and it's ALWAYS empty. I decided to check it's reviews on Yelp and was pretty impressed by the fact that it was 4 stars. That's not a common rating for a sushi restaurant in downtown. I usually bring my lunch from home because although I love venturing out to downtown, sometimes it can get a little pricey. Today I felt like having some sushi so decided to give this place a try. I called and ordered my food (the girl put me on hold for a while...annoying). I walked over after 15-20 minutes and as usual, the place was completely empty. Not a single soul there during lunch time. Weird. Ok let's discuss the food since that's ultimately the most important part of this review. I ordered the Tuna Tataki and the Fantasy Roll with an extra side of ponzu. Their sushi is fresh, really fresh. Probably one of the freshest sushi I've had in a very long time. I personally like my Tuna Tataki to be sliced a little thinner, but otherwise it was delicious. The Fantasy Roll was also sliced a little too thick, but also very delicious. Here's the problem I have with this place...the price. I personally feel they need to lower their prices significantly for several reasons. 1. it's a hole in the wall...some of the best restaurants are holes in the wall but for right now they are JUST a hole in the wall 2. they are a brand new place and don't have enough clientele to have prices like these 3. they are always empty and because they are so expensive people won't realize how great they are. The girl at the register told me that she was giving me their new menu because they raised all their prices by $1. Umm what? You guys opened like, yesterday, and you're already raising your prices even more??? That's ridiculous. They need to lower their prices by at least $2! I ordered 2 items and my total was $25.12!

    Seaweed salad app. Awesome.

A hole in the wall mom and pop sushi joint is a dime a dozen, but this little gem is amazing! We dinned in and had an app and roll each! The people are super friendly and the little cozy place has a warm feel to it! Enjoy!

Flagler Roll did not disappoint. Will be getting this again for sure.

Recently started working downtown and noticed a sushi spot on the ground floor of my building so I decided to try it out. It's a bit small in there but the server who works there is very very sweet and such a pleasant person. Plus she didnt continue to. Ug me asking if I'm okay every 5 minutes like at other small places lol. I ordered the Flagler Roll and got my food fairly quickly. It was delicious!!! It's basically a tuna roll topped off w tuna and tempura chips. It was put together very well and the chunks of tuna were very generous and fresh. The price was not bad either. Great convenient spot w good food for lunch during the week. Cant wait to try the other items on the menu.

Rice roll.... with a touch of various fish.

Great quality sushi! I ordered delivery, and it arrived in a timely manner and with good presentation. BUT beware, their rolls have WAY too much rice in my opinion. Honestly would of given them 3 stars because of the rice problem but the fish was just so darn good.

Classic rolls and variety of specialty rolls as well. Ordered the "Miami Heat" roll and although it was good, the "spicy tuna" was simply a tuna roll with a dab of Sriracha on top. Nothing too special but if you're in downtown Miami and are craving quick sushi this is your spot

Here's the wonderful bone I found in my "pork fried rice"
    Christopher D.

I am not sure if this is indicative of every location for Lee's Sushi but this is about the 28 W Flagler St location. Upon entering the location, the waitresses had no idea an online menu existed on their website. They didn't know common terms used with sushi and donburi bowls. After begrudgingly ordering a "pork fried rice", it was a soy sauce vegetable rice mix with stray pieces of pork. Upon eating it, I found several pieces of cartilage and found a sharp bone. This is unacceptable. I will never be visiting Lee's Sushi ever again.

    Massive JB Roll...so fresh!

It looks like a typical divey sushi joint, but I can assure you it's not. The sushi is so fresh and amazing! The rice is cooked perfectly, and the rolls are huge and very reasonably priced!! I will be coming back again and again.

Awful, I ordered teriyaki chicken and I got dried out chicken meat that feels like chicken chips. I called the the restaurant and no resolution was given to fix this issue. They are rude and provide terrible food, and costumer service. I suggest you look elsewhere to order takeout....

Rainbow roll is a great health choice

Wish I could give 6 stars! I ALWAYS order from here! My food gets here in about 15 mins, sometimes 10 since I live close by in the Overtown Area. Never have had a bad experience. The food is consistently good quality and most importantly they never forgot the eel sauce! I recommend the crab salad.

This is the number 82. Didn't know at first then I tasted it. & made my day

Super Tasty! I went for a quick trip right before school to get a roll for lunch. I got one for my friend also (green dragon roll & anaconda roll). SO GOOD AMAZING TASTE AND SO FRESH. Can't wait to pass by again super good. Haha I can't even explain.

They had a duck confit special tonight that was so delicious, it came with a gravy, poached pears and mushrooms. My favorite dish was their foie gras , definitely a rich dish but is paired with some balsamic reductions and various jellies to cut on the richness of the fat. The anchovies were just the right amount of salty and fatty and paired well with the breads. The music was a vibe crossing genres and decades. Don't get me wrong, they are still excellent, but this is more of a 4.4 than a true 5 star. For me Zuma had a pleasant ambiance, lots of beautiful people, great outdoor seating to watch the yachts go by. So if that's what you are looking for, this is a good place to stop in. Also I give them points for not rushing you even though in their policy there is a seating time limit. We ended up just ordering the premium omakase, and that was quite a bit of food. I am glad I didn't order extras like I usually like to do at an Omakase. While the food in general is good and enjoyable, there was nothing very memorable, other than their Lava cake. That was to die for! And I skips dessert 99% of the time. Service was good but not stellar, could be because they had wait staff in training (during table service, our server didn't really know how to properly shave a truffle and another staff had to take over. Our courses are mumbled, doesn't sound like our server was confident about what the food is)

Yamashiro has been an LA institution for some time and recently opened an outpost in Miami. The…read morevibe is relatively simple and has been played by many establishments in the genre: trendy, super loud music, lots of people pretending to be rich, mediocre overpriced sushi and in Yamashiro's case a creepy Geisha like figure walking around. The concept is essentially taking everything that Japanese treasure about a sushi experience and making sure that a Japanese visitor stumbling in here would find the establishment as offensive as possible. For starters, the wait to get seated was close to an hour, with a reservation. Getting the waiter flagged down upon being seated, another 30-40 min. Finally being able to leave this place, priceless. If anyone is thinking of this as a date night spot, I would highly advise against it. The music is so loud, it's a borderline club vibe. You cannot have any decent conversation over dinner and constantly having to scream. It's truly unbearable and one of the stupidest ideas for a dinner establishment that exists on this earth. There are lounges and clubs, where people expect to find louder music, but this was outrageous for a restaurant. To make matters worse, after asking them to turn it down a little, they said they can't and that their Italian owner requires it to be like that... So, the food, is decent. Steak is mediocre, black cod was well prepared and so are the sushi rolls. I cannot give any bad feedback to the kitchen, they really did their job well. However, the ridiculously low level of service, not taking any degree of responsibility for it when I complained and the ridiculously unpleasant atmosphere are the core reasons that Yamashiro simply does not deserve anything above one star. Ps. All the outdoor fake plants are no less annoying. It's Miami, everything grows here, why do we have to be so cheap?
