I went into Legend Auto with my father in October to purchase a car I saw they had listed on Carfax. I was helped by Kian, who was very professional, helpful, and did not pressure me at all. The car had just been transferred to their lot after they bought it from another dealership at auction, so what was listed on the Carfax report was all the info they had on it. They didn't do a full inspection of their own and couldn't show me a copy of an actual mechanic's report. I had travelled from out of town to see the car and didn't have the resources to coordinate having my own inspection done, but I went ahead and bought the car because it was in good condition as far as I could tell and Kian and his manager seemed like good people. They accepted a personal check for outright payment of the vehicle, so I don't know what coordinating financing is like with them. I've now had the car for two months, and it runs great. I had my local mechanic inspect it and he told me I lucked out and got a great car. It has 105,000 miles on it, but it was a single owner commuter car and has new brakes and tires and a good maintenance history. As a first time car buyer, I was a little nervous and definitely had my guard up. Looking back on the experience now, I don't think I needed to be so vigilant. Honestly these guys made me feel super presured to buy the car when I wanted to keep looking at other lots, I wasn't able to take the car on the freeway at all for the test drive, I got the car less than a month and a half ago and I've only put 2000 miles on the car before I started noticing problems... I was getting a misfire by week 2 of owning the car so I went and got it diagnosed at a certified mechanic and after trouble shooting the issue and paying $1100 for new fuel injectors the car still had a misfire so then the mechanic stuck a camera down in all the cylinders and come to find out 2 of the cylinder walls were scared very beep and badly so oil was getting past the rings and burning causing the injectors to clog... I've emailed the vp my diagnostic and also pictures of the internal damage to the engine... There is no way I cause all this internal damage driving it for 2000 miles, the car idles like a tractor now and is awaiting a engine swap that is going to cost me over $4500. I payed cash for this car, I payed $13.000 and all the dealer has been doing is giving me the complete run around... they have not helped me at all and claim it is completely my problem... this dealer sold me a lemon and is doing nothing to make it right. read more

Fernando is your typical car salesman and will try and take advantage of you. I went to Paul Blanco on easter to try and finance a car, the banks were closed so they said they would call me the next day. I didn't want to give up so I walked down to legend auto. I noticed they were closing and decided to call it a day. Fernando over heard me talking to Edwin and PERSISTED I stay. Long story short, he ended up speaking down to me, telling me I know it all, and trying to charge me $500+ a month with $3300 down. Paul blanco got me in a brand new 2017 Kia Rio with 40,000 miles. For $240 a month. And $1300 down. Edwin was the only nice person at the establishment, but didn't speak to him much. Fernando was trying to rob me. Bad business. Beware of this dealership they are crooks and scammers less than 50 miles pulling off the lot I started getting Check engine lights on they told me that it would be an easy fix which I did end up fixing myself. I have purchased a 2016 Cadillac Escalade and within 500 miles of changing the spark plug the head gasket blows. They literally sold me a lemon. Please please save your money and steer clear from this please. I spent basically 40,000 on a messed up vehicle. When telling them that they sold me a bunk car he said go ahead and pursue with your lawyers we're not taking responsibility for anything. The finance person is a scam artist be careful when talking to the con artist. Prior to purchasing the vehicle the GPS navigation was clearly broken several of the staff also agreed that it was broken instead of taking accountability he told me my fingers were too fat and I was pressing the buttons too soft for it to react. They had another vehicle on the lot so I told him to try the GPS system which turned out to work Very well so they swapped it out and said they would sell that one to the next customer. Never buy anything from this place!!! I bought a used tacoma about a year ago. From the day I took it off the lot the issues began. There were major transmission issues and still after lots of work I haven't been able to resolve it, the entertainment system volume control hasn't worked since day one though I didn't notice when I test drove, the a/c stopped working within days, and the tire pressure sensors were never installed which I had to pay to have all installed. The dealer claimed they have all their vehicles inspected by mechanics. That is a huge lie! I'm pretty sure all they did was take the car in, wash it, slap some tires and rims on it, and sell it. On top of all the that, they sold it with a cracked windshield which should have been the red flag to begin with. I communicated my concerns early on with them, but it's been a year and the truck requires major work still. I communicated with the dealer early on, never received payment or anything for the tire sensors I had fixed early on and never heard anything further about the transmission issues etc...Hope this saves others from the stress of making a horrible purchase from these people! read more

BEWARE**DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE**I literally Just got off the phone with the owner of this Lot and his salesman Fernando.We were interested in buying a Maserati Ghibli TODAY for my 19-year-old son,who just bought a Maserati Last month, and unfortunately two weeks later was an accident and it was totaled.We found this car on Car Gurus,and they rated this car price to be overpriced by $4,200 and in the red warning for price.Especially Knowing this car is a Base model and not an upgraded model,we called to ask if the price is negotiable.We have a silver car on hold in the Bay Area to buy today,but my son favors the black color a little more.Fernando put us on hold to ask the owner,who obviously was insulted and started screaming at me questioning what the hell do I know about pricing?",and repeatedly saying"who are you?"Then demanding I give him the name of the lot in the bay.Finally I had to tell him ,it's none of his business.This put him in a cursing rage yelling What did you say to me? There are only a couple of things that I perceive to dread. Car shopping WAS one of them. The experience here at Legend Auto is ultra professional. Their inventory is incredible. My sales person Luis is extremely knowledgeable about all cars. He treated me as though I was buying a new car. The sales manager Fernando continued the same treatment when we sat down to negotiate the buying process. He never once reminded me that I was buying a previously owned car. When it was time for locating finance Sam the fiancé manager is stellar. I know that my credit is flawed yet he located a great loan and continued to treat me as though I have an 850 score. During negotiations with Fernando we agreed that Legend dealership would buff out a few scratches. Sam took ownership of making sure this happened for me. This team is supremely professional. This past weekend I went Auto shopping for a vehicle and came across a one of a kind sales person. Kian Mash at Legend Auto Sales. What made him one of a kind was the customer service that he provided. I came by to test drive the CLS 550 he listed. However it had been sold 2 days before. I was a little sad; however there was one coming available on Wed. Kian also pointed out an S500 that was available. After much hesitation I took it for a test drive and fell in love. I didn't want to make an inpulse by so we went to breakfast. I notified Kian that I would be back and provided him my contact information. On the way to breakfast we passed a couple of lots. I proceed to another dealer and fell in love with a XTS. However due to the service at the other dealer. I just wanted to go home. Next morning my plan was to just go and look and hold off until I get what I really want. I sent Kian a text on Sunday and apologized fro not coming back to the pick up the car. I explained to him what happen and that I was going to wait for the CLS. Well I get a really nice text from Kian "Good morning sorry to hear that, but let us try and I will promise we will beat any one on percentage rate by far." I notified Kian I was really hesitant and I will think on it. He gain texted me. " I could get you another 600.00 of the S550 fo you if you still interested. That is a fantastic deal." Please keep in mind the car was already at an amazing price. So I notified Kain that I would come by. My intention was to go by and apologize for not coming back. I get to the dealer; we walk in and start discussing what happened. I provided Kain a copy of my report and he said let me take it to the Finance Manager while you look around. While walking around the show room flow i come across a 740i simply beautiful. Knowing if I get in this car i'm going to want it. Kain stated just sit and feel it. Kain came back from the Finance Manager's office and stated "I can get you a deal on either one. I wasn't for sure so I went for it. I waited about 20 minutes and he came back to let me know I was approved. What an amazing experience to know that finally someone kept their word. Kain provided exceptional service along with the Fiance Manger Sam. They went over the details of the sale, contract, specks, warranty with me thoroughly. It was truly an amazing experience. I am well aware of used car salesmen and their stupid tactics, but I never thought I'd actually be a victim of their BS. I came to Legend Auto because I found an ad for a BMW that I was interested in. The car I wanted happened to be on sale for Labor Day weekend or something, and the price was cheaper than all the other cars of the same year/make I was looking for. I honestly don't know crap about cars, so I brought my uncle in with me because he's been working on BMW's for years. He checked the car inside and out, and I was excited that he couldn't find anything wrong with it. So I went ahead and purchased the car because I kind of needed a car right away, and the deal was too good to pass up on. Within two weeks of my purchase, a regulator or something broke and my window wouldn't close. This was a huge inconvenience for me, especially since I live in San Francisco and it's rare I have the time to come back to Sacramento. But I called the dealership and they told me that they would fix it free of charge. I was pleased because they really had me believe that they stand by their cars. BUUUT. About 1,000 miles of driving my bimmer, the check engine light comes on. I took it into Frank's Automotive (you can trust them!) and the first thing they asked was if I had just bought the car. Apparently I had a cracked pipe that made oil leak all over my engine....and Legend just cleaned and airbrushed everything to make my car look perfect. Legend was fully aware of my car damages before selling it to me. I had to drop $1500 for car repairs. I should have trusted my gut feelings because I knew the price of the car was too good to be true. Sam was the name of the man who sold me my car, and I totally disagree with the other yelpers who raved about honesty at this dealership. They definitely screwed me over. read more

Used car buyers beware: Legend Auto reinforces the ill-repute of the American "used car lot". I purchased an M-B ML350 with 94,000 miles. When it reached 97,000 the engine suffered catastrophic failure that required engine replacement. Legend Auto totally rejected and repudiated any sense of good customer service even after I offered to exchange the vehicle with another at the same purchase price or greater. I later discovered that Legend Auto buys all of their vehicles at car auctions, and like mine, performed no pre-sale inspection by a M-B service center, nor performed small repairs and detailing, but instead just placed it immediately on the sales lot. I thus entreat all prospective purchasers of used cars to avoid purchasing the latter from independent used car dealers such as Legend Auto. Instead, pay a relatively small premium and purchase a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) automobile from an established new-car sales and service dealership. Based on my subsequent interviews, all new-car dealers in Sacramento area would have repaired or replaced the engine if I purchased a CPO ML350 from them. read more

My experience with this dealership was better than any other I've had, and this was the 5th car I purchased from a dealer. At all of the other dealerships I bought from were big dealerships, and every time it was a total hassle, I felt like the sales people were just trying to get as much money out of me as they could. I didn't trust them. At Legend Auto, Sam and the owner, Amir made the process so easy and pleasant, they were very friendly. There was no sitting in the lobby waiting ALL day and haggling back and forth (like all the other dealers I had worked with) it was no non-sense; they were very straightforward and very honest. I bought a very nice, CLEAN Cadillac CTS, with low miles; they even added some bells and whistles to make it nicer before they put it up for sale! And they gave me a fair amount for my trade. I had the car checked out and it had no mechanical issues. It got a clean bill of health. Also, they had the carfax report ready when I first went to see the car. Shortly after I bought the car, there was an unforeseen issue. I took the car back and Amir and Sam were very concerned, very honest and fixed the problem with no questions asked. They stood behind the car they sold, it is good to know people still conduct business honestly. I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. I'm glad I chose this dealership. I recommend it to anyone.
