Price have increased which is normal due to the times we're living right now but wow your definitely in for a surprise with the severing size and food packaging. I ordered a Large sampler usually is shareable not any more! It was put in a tiny box and everything smashed inside. Zucchini's onion rings and French fries became complete mush and trashed. The chili cheese fries had random pieces of lettuce mixed in to them why I have no idea? The chicken salad was very sad tray wasn't full like normal and moldy tomatoes contacting The Department of Public Health to report moldy tomatoes. We have eaten at this place for 5 years+ now. We love coming here, but the last two years has been very bad. On Jan 14, 22 we ordered two burger combos and a chicken salad. $42 later we got two burgers with very thin beef patties. Now I don't know if they changed their suppliers but the beef was almost see through. The fries were double fried. Have you ever had fries double fried? The potato shells over and the inside collapses so you bite into a shell filled with air! They really need to close this place and find a new owner because this place is poorly managed. Today's visit was just so disappointing. From giving me the wrong order, making a kids meal size sandwich to telling me I was wrong and was given the additional ranches I paid for when I wasn't, it was a visit that took my entire lunch hour up. Not to mention getting stuck in the exit isle and ending with me not being able to eat my food due to the state of it. Their prices are going up, they're charging a good amount extra for half full hot ranches. Their portion sizes and quality has gone severely downhill. I was stuck in line for an extremely long time because they're drive thru system is not efficient. I had to call inside just to get someone to come out and remake my food. Which was the quality you see here. Once I got back to my office with our lunch, I had to call and they couldn't find my order for a very long time. Finally asked if I wanted it remade.....no. I brought up the really bad fries and they said it was due to covid supply. I appreciate that but then at least list this on your menu being that your restaurant is known for those fries. And please look into a new fry vendor, the quality of these is bad. I was told they have new employees and are on a new system. While I can completely appreciate that being in management myself, someone in ownership needs to step up, show leadership and maybe close for a day to properly train the poor staff who is working hard but struggling because they need proper training. It's hard to come by good employees these days who want to work, invest in your people and give them the proper tools so they can provide excellent customer service and quality and be less stressed. Man ohhh man !!! Best burgers I e had in a very long time , tasty fresh meat & buns ! Kept it simple with a double cheese burger , steak fries made it even better & another side of chilly cheese fries really hit the spot ! I've been going here for many years. The burgers are great. However, the soggy fries sucks. Every time I asked for them to cook it longer so they are more crispy they ignore my request. I always end up getting soggy fries. I don't go and ask for them to remake it because of the concern that they may spit on it the second time around. This place is a complete joke. Such a ripoff! I have been a customer for years but not any longer. This is not the LEGENDS as we once knew it to be. They have raised their prices while simultaneously cutting the quantity. In other words you will pay more $ for less food. Burger combos now come with maybe a 1/3 of the fries which are served in a little bag. No longer will you get a box of fries. I tried to phone in an order for a salad with avocado added, they told me the total would be $18.50. $18.50 for a salad!!?? 2 weeks ago I ordered the exact same thing and the total was $13 + change. What happened? In addition, for those that do not know, legends previously made their ranch in house and it was really good. Now they outsource their dressings which are pre-manufactured and taste like . The manager tried to gas light me by telling me nothing has changed and the ranch is the same as it always has been. Overall, with the new changes happening at LEGENDS on Mountain Ave in upland, the customer experience is very disappointing. I will no longer spend my money at this establishment. Have been going to this location for years since childhood, went last night while visiting my family and it is not the same. Portion changes (I can understand that one as they were huge before) but also product changes (gyro yogurt sauce is horrible and almost like cream cheese now vs. yogurt), and our zucchini fries (which are my favorite item there) were so disgusting we had to throw most away. Hopping on the "WTF happened to this place" wagon. My husband and I went last night and grabbed two salads and one chicken taco. The salads used to be large enough for two meals. Now they are the size of a regular dinner salad. My husband said they used to have the best blue cheese dressing and now it's barely edible. I eat the honey mustard dressing that too has changed and it's not good. I used my own dressing. My husband said the chicken taco is much smaller now and not nearly as good good as in the past. They changed from having a quartered tomato in the salad to four tiny cherry tomatoes and having large slices of cucumbers to four tiny slices of cucumber. The shredded cheese is definitely a lower quality of cheese. We won't be returning for a while which is sad because we used to really like this place. I hope Maria is still around and that she survives. She's the best part of that place NOTE TO THE NEW OWNERS: if you are going to raise the prices keep the quality the same. We go here pretty often. When my mom and Aunt are coming over, I will put in an order and they pick in up on their way to my house. And also, my fiancé is Vegan and they are more than willing to work with your order to make what you want. They really do all they can. I am allergic to eggs, so it's hard to order breakfast sometimes. This place makes it easy peasy. They don't make you feel like you're being a pain either. I went to Legends today after quite a few years, I had heard rumors that it had changed and is no longer a good place to eat. I should have listened. I used to love their patty melt, it was soooo good. now I can't even describe how bad it is. The french fries were another staple of this business, they were crap too! Even the pre packaged ranch was horrible. There is not one good thing I can say about this transformation. I will never return and I'm guessing it will go the way of the Legends on Arrow and Monte Vista. Was here yesterday in the drive thru. The kid who took our order was super pushy and kept asking us what else, what else. There was no one behind us, he just kept looking out the drive thru window at us, then when we got to the window he kept repeating himself, we had to ask 4 times for a soda, then he said another 3 times that people were yelling at him thru his headset wth? We were the last ones in line, not sure what he was talking about. I read other reviews after we got home that said they spit in people's food and I believe it, the dude was acting really sketchy. The food was garbage. The zuccini was like baby food mushy, freezer damaged, the mushrooms were rotten and black. The breading was grey and flavorless like sawdust. Everyone working looks pissed off. Stopped in at Legends after a long and tiring bike ride, so basically I would have been happy eating a shoe. But really, I was much happier eating chicken fingers and fries! I was warned that the portions were generous and my friends weren't wrong. I had the combo which came with 4 chicken fingers, a literal mountain of fries, a sizeable side salad and drink for like $9.50. Everything was really good, but I particularly liked the fries which were crisp and salty. The zucchini fries were also delicious and believe it or not, the salads looked amazing and I actually had salad envy. Note to self - next time get a salad and milkshake!
