Egg tarts here were very good. The custard was very light with Just the right amount of sweetness. The crust was crispy and flaky, almost like a croissant texture. Definitely recommend swinging by and enjoying one if you're a egg tart fan.

This place is amazing! Their pastry menu isn't extensive but all you need to order is the Butter Caramel Egg tart. They churn them out constantly so the tarts are always warm and fresh. They're about $6 which is more pricey than a typical tart but these are about 2x the size of a typical one. The custard is the perfect texture, with a great balance of egg/sugar/slight vanilla flavor. The caramel flavor is very mild, which I prefer. The crust is flaky and buttery and while I'm a cookie crust egg tart girl, I can appreciate a good flakey crust. I love that it isn't overly sweet. We always order one to eat fresh and others to take home. We heat the leftovers in the microwave for about 20 seconds and while the crust is obviously not as flakey as it would be fresh, the custard is still great. I haven't tried their drinks yet since the surrounding areas have such great boba options but maybe one day I'll order one here. The tiramisu tart was okay- not worth a repeat order in my opinion. Be careful when eating this so you don't inhale the cocoa powder! Get the Butter Caramel Egg Tart.

I tried their new brûlée pudding drinks and horn danishes. The drinks felt more like a dessert but wasn't too sweet and the boba was soft and chewy. i do still prefer their fruit drinks, very refreshing! the horn danishes are very flakey and has filling inside. would love to come back and try their other desserts as well

I love me a good egg tart and this one hit the spot. It's got a nice buttery, flaky crust all around a rich egg custard filling. The caramelization on the top gave it a nice brown butter type of taste. It's priced on the higher side, but it is bigger than the standard circular egg tart. Maybe a little too much crust for me, but overall well-rounded and flavorful. No wait when I went on a weeknight, and there was just a small handful left when I got there. Small shop, but seems efficient. Located at Pearl Plaza, there was a sizable parking lot to accommodate a number of other businesses.

Came for the sweets to try out. The green tea tiramisu is a bit sweet and has a lot of green tea powder on top to balance it out. The egg tart is bigger than the ones I usually get. It was still good and tasted great. The place offered gloves and spoons for us. There's no seating inside. There are tables outside to enjoy the treats. I came around 4 pm and parking was relatively easy for me. I left around 5 and the lot started to fill up.

We got: horn danishes: strawberry cream, matcha chocolate, & pistachio cream ceylon semi-baked brûlée cake matcha brûlée cake Lelecha has some newly launched menu items and they did not disappoint! Their horn danishes were all beautifully flaky with a light, buttery crunch. Each filling had its own standout flavor, but my favorite had to be their strawberry cream danish! The ceylon semi-baked brûlée cake was incredibly creamy and silky with a delicate tea aroma. The custardy cake on top was the perfect addition! The matcha brûlée cake is a matcha lover's dream! Smooth, slightly earthy, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. Definitely a great spot if you're craving something unique and aesthetically pleasing!

Skip the beverages here (they were mediocre at best compared to anything else you can get nearby) but come for the tarts. The butter caramel tart is like the egg tart but easily 2-3x the size. The crust is super buttery flakey and crispy. The egg custard is soft tender perfectly done and not too sweet. Both the egg tart and the butter tart were executed beautifully.

Lelecha is perfect for those that have a sweet tooth! The desserts aren't super overpoweringly sweet, I liked the balance. The matcha tiramisu has a strong matcha flavor. Lelecha is located inside a plaza and is surrounded by a plethora of businesses (bbq, hot pot, skewers, sushi, snack shop, karaoke, etc) making it a great place to end the night with a sweet treat (or drink). The egg tart was a 10/10. A little warm, creamy custard, flakey crust. I see why this sells out. The grape tea/slushy was also good - ordered less sweet. It had chunks of green grapes that complimented the top purple grape layers very well. I will say the jasmine tea felt a little overpowering when I first took a sip but overall, refreshing and at less than 190 calories, a great light way to end the night. Parking was a little compact in the plaza lot but some street parking was also available.

This store has been all the talk recently and one super popular item is these delicious egg tarts. If you like something crispy, flaky with a hint of sweetness this is one you should try! They sell other items as well, and drinks, but the egg in the display case is what you really need to pick on! Service was fast and there are small tables and chairs for you to sit at if you want to eat it right there.

What a cute little drink and dessert shop! This place is located inside a mini plaza where you have to walk into to find the place. I love the decor - it really makes me feel like I walked into a fairytale, which is what some of their desserts are designed to look like. I tried the Tiramisu Custard Tart ($6.40) and Butter Caramel Egg Custard Tart ($5.49). The Tiramisu Custard Tart was not too sweet and it was good, I just wished that the tart part was crispier. The Butter Caramel Egg Custard Tart was very good - it would be better if warmed up in the oven at home to make it extra crispy. The egg custard part was soft and not too sweet. This really is a Portuguese egg tart in disguise. At these prices and for the size, I can see how they are a bit pricey for what it is. However, I think that it is worth a try and if you like it, it's definitely worth getting again.

Saw the custard tart on IG & took my team here during Friday team lunch for a treat. Cozy small store front to buy & go. You'll have to find a table outside to eat. Service is good, they made excellent recommendations since it was our first time there. Absolutely obsessed with the custard tart now. It's like a caramel egg tart with flaky choux, best when warm. The tiramisu tart is pretty good too (I usually don't care for tiramisu). I'd go back to try the matcha tart. I think the drinks were also pretty good & I'll try more next time, but I would prefer a strong coffee to pair with the pastries.

Saw this place on TikTok and had to come try for myself. I'm happy to say the egg tart was worth the hype! They were open on Christmas Day so we came and there was a 30 min wait but I thought it was well worth it since they came right out of the oven. I found these on Instagram with people raving about them as the best egg tarts in SoCal. With such a claim I had to try them. I drove 40 minutes to get there. The plaza was a little confusing. Google Maps led us to the back which seemed to be the employee entrance for all the stores. You have to keep going and make another right turn before you see the entrance to the plaza. The store is on the first floor and is very small. It can fit maybe ten people at most. There are two self ordering kiosks where you can place your order and wait outside but it was hard to hear them call your number if you are not inside. The egg tarts are actually called butter caramel tarts and cost 5.99 each. A little pricey but they are huge about the size of two regular egg tarts. They were amazing. The caramel crust gave a great initial sweetness. The puff pastry was extremely flakey with so many layers. You definitely do not want to eat this in the car. The star of the tart was the egg filling. It was gooey yet still firm to the bite. Even cold it tasted great. I would definitely pop this in the air fryer for an even better experience. Even though it is a far drive I will be coming back. read more

The attitude, service, and overall experience here were absolutely terrible! The employees were shockingly unkind and downright rude from the moment I asked a simple question. I ordered six egg tarts, and they handed me cold, pre-bagged ones that had clearly been sitting out on the counter for who knows how long. I politely asked if I could have hot, fresh ones from the warmer, literally right next to the employee... and the worker responded with the nastiest, most dismissive attitude. They practically threw the egg tarts into the bag, all while giving me a look that made it clear they couldn't care less. And this was right in front of my three kids. Completely unacceptable! The customer service here is honestly some of the worst I've ever experienced. The whole encounter ruined what should have been a simple, pleasant stop. The egg tarts themselves were way below average... big, nasty, soggy, and not worth the money at all. Unprofessional, rude, and a total disappointment. We are never going back ; ( read more

(4/5) Tried Lelecha Milk Tea in Rowland Heights and had a pretty great experience! I ordered the Amber Ceylon Milk Tea and the Jasmine Bouquet Milk Tea and out of the two, the Jasmine Bouquet definitely the best. It has a super refreshing flavor, and honestly, I'd recommend not customizing the sweetness it tastes best as is. Also, don't skip the egg tart! It was warm, flaky, and seriously worth trying. For the price, the quality is solid and everything felt like a good value. Overall: tasty drinks, good prices, super cute store and a clean, chill vibe. I got the Jasmine Bouquet Tea at 50% sweet and it was very light in flavor. I think next time I can do full sweet but the flavor of the tea was pretty decent. The egg tart is amazing though, I'd go back again for that. It was warm and light and flaky, not too sweet. The store itself is pretty small, but the staff is nice and quick to take your order. The bakery theme is so cute and the branded everythings really sell the brand. They even have single use gloves to keep your hands clean when you're eating the breads and pastries. I'll be back to try more of their teas and breads next time I'm in the area! read more

It's a cute spot that is in a plaza with a lot of parking. After looking at the menu, my brother asked if the Citrus Burst Tea (an item on the new menu) was just tea or if it was a slushy. The worker said that it was milk tea. We were a bit confused because in the picture it doesn't look like a milk tea at all, but maybe he meant that it was just tea. With that assumption, I ordered the medium Chunky Strawberry Tea with boba. My brother ordered a medium iced mango sago pomelo, along with an egg tart. Our total was about $16. He handed us our drinks and low and behold my drink was a slushy. Then we asked for our egg tart and the worker responds, you didn't order it. We said then the amount we paid wouldn't make sense. We said it wouldn't make sense because the total should have been closer to $12. They had to reprint the receipt. The worker had charge us for a large, which was $8, compared ot the $5.50 for the medium. While they resolved our problem, at no point did they apologize. Would love to return when they have trained their workers more with description of drinks, along with accuracy in ringing up drinks/total. read more

Egg tarts and amber ceylon milk tea are good. Boba could be a bit harder. Staff are friendly and nice! Betty was very nice to us too not any seating inside but there's some tables outside to sit at. Parking can be harder since it's a busy plaza but there's surely a spot. read more

Came here with my coworkers, we all ordered the egg tart. The drink is 6/10, not too special BUTTT the egg tart (chefs kiss) omg 10/10. This is probably one of the best egg tart I've had in the US (I only like the ones in Taiwan that have "flaky, crispy crusts that shatters at first bite, giving way to a rich, silky-smooth egg custard center"). The one at lelecha is almost at that level. I say definitely try this egg tart at least once in your life. The service here... they're WAYY to busy but still try their best to be nice and patient. There's no seating inside, so you will have to sit outside if you decide to eat the egg tarts right away. (Oh and they also provide gloves for you to grab the egg tarts. read more

I decided to make the long, traffic heavy trip to Rowland Heights to explore the food scene and Lelecha was one of the spots on my list. I was anticipating a long line because this place has gone viral for their unique, flaky rectangle shaped egg tarts but luckily the place was empty when we arrived. I ordered 2 egg tarts and I was immediately given a readily packaged bag. I thought wow, they're super quick that I didn't even notice the girl open the case. I opened the bag and scooped up a slightly cool/ room temperature egg tart. You mean to tell me, this egg tart has just been sitting in that bag for God knows how long?! I can understand if the tarts were bagged a few minutes ahead because of a long line but that wasn't the case. I was annoyed by this careless short cut of theirs because who the hell serves a cold egg tart and thinks it's okay? Do better, Lelecha! read more

Egg tart not too sweet and with goog flavor. Both Citrus tea and flour oolong tea have good tea flavors. Both ordered with half sugar (60%) but the sweetness was same as 0 or 20% sugar from other tea shops. I will definitely go back and maybe try with the regular sweet. read more

I had a coupon for this tea shop on fantuan so decided to it a try, and if it was bad I wouldn't be mad but boy did this place exceed my expectation haha. I ordered: - Jasmine bouquet milk tea: so delicious! The jasmine tea has a floral taste paired with creamy milk; one of the rare place that does jasmine milk tea so well and balanced and with rich tea taste. Side note: their drink is not as sweet as other tea shops. I usually order 50% sugar at other places or 30% sugar with boba, but i opted for 100% for this drink and it's just perfect, not too sweet at all. - butter caramel tart: this is bomb! So flaky, buttery with rich custard filling. Probably the best egg tart I ever eat. A must order imo. I didn't communicate a lot just basic question about my order but to me the service was very nice, friendly, and fast. They packed my order with care. They seemed to be super busy tho. The inside is not spacious but there're some seating outside that you could use. Overall i think this is a great tea shop. Highly recommended! read more

I normally don't love egg tart crust, especially the flaky kind but omg the entire thing is delicious. I got both the regular tart and the tiramisu one & I'll def be getting both of them again. They're huge, not too sweet but definitely fulfill the craving. The tiramisu one was sooooo good. I definitely need to try their regular tiramisu and their matcha one, both looked really good as well. The drink (a strawberry peach tea freeze thing, forgot the name) was just okay in my opinion but the tarts.. fantastic. read more

Went there with such high expectations. It was a far drive but figured it would be worth it, right? Place going viral by all these food bloggers. Well it was a big disappointment. The egg tart was cleverly rectangle but it was too big and too eggy and too mushy in the middle. It was a sad egg tart. It's not worth the drive. Also the service was awful. We asked for fresh egg tarts instead of the ones in the bag sitting on the counter and the request was met with attitude. Just awful. Don't waste your time going there. read more

Yes to the $6 egg tart... NO to everything else. All the desserts are in a freezer and not fresh. The drinks are comparable to Quickly's. Overpriced and the drinks + the desserts are really bad. I was really excited and high hopes but the original and matcha tiramisu made me really depressed especially it being almost $14 each after tax. 2 stars for the egg tart and aesthetic/concept. The store itself is adorable! The door handles are baguettes and the walls are decorated with cute bakery items. I really wanted to love this place but the service was terrible. I was only second in line, but the ordering process took forever. I ordered three egg tarts and a golden rice mochi oolong drink. The girl at the counter was taking orders AND bagging egg tarts (with her gloved hand) which is not exactly the most sanitary setup. In the 30+ minutes I was there, at least three different customers complained about their drinks. At one point, a customer returned a drink which the cashier took back with her gloved hand, then went right back to grabbing egg tarts with the same glove. Ever heard of tongs? In the back, there were three people working on drinks. Two guys and a girl. Somehow, the four orders that came after me came out first and all of them had multiple drinks and egg tarts. I only had one drink! The guy in charge of making my drink looked like he was in wonderland. He added the mochi topping, then literally just stood there for a few minutes. Eventually, after the other workers finished the other orders, the cashier noticed I was still waiting. She pointed out my order to the absent minded guy, and only then did my drink finally get finished. The drink was ass. Butter Caramel Tart: silky and smooth custard with a flaky, buttery crust. The portion size was great with a generous amount of filling. Pretty much a well-made Portuguese egg tart. Tiramisu Custard Tart: strong espresso flavor, bold but balanced with the custard underneath, not too sweet. It definitely makes me want to come back and try the tiramisu on its own. The Jasmine Bouquet Milk Tea was the only miss for me. It tasted mostly like milk with just a hint of floral tea and sweetness. Lele Tea blew me away with their Fuding Laobai (Fuding Aged White Tea)! It's not a drink you find everywhere -- super fragrant, mellow, and naturally sweet with a comforting earthy depth.
