Omg! I cannot believe I have never tried this place. I have always seen it when I drive on Reseda but never gave it a try. The parking situation is tricky if the lot is full because the lot is super narrow and if the restaurant is full you won't find parking in their lot. Their staff is sweet and helpful. I really enjoyed their food! For the amount you pay, you really get a lot of food which is important to consider in this economy. I ended up getting a combo plate of chicken and beef kabob. It was super good! I also really enjoyed their hummus as an appetizer. Overall will definitely be coming back and would recommend this place!
I came back here with friends and once again the food was very good. We shared chipotle chicken fries, a Shirazi salad, and had water to drink. I ordered the chipotle chicken bowl. It tasted good, I just wish it was spicy, but other than that the service was great and it was a great ambiance to celebrate my friend's birthday.
This meal was so life-changing I had to hop back on yelp to tell everyone. Firstly, the interior is well-decorated and spacious and the ambiance is excellent and our server said that the menu is part Persian inspired. Most importantly, the food was the greatest ever. My family would have been fine with just the baba ganoush and roasted eggplant-- it was hearty and creamy and garlicky, everything I have ever wanted in a dish. But of course, we ordered the super combo due to our hubris and paid the price (we took a bunch of boxes). They are not kidding when they say the Super Combo feeds 4-5, they must be talking about 4-5 men in their early 20s because it was way too much for us. Assuming you eat all the salad and rice and the bed if bread the meat is served on, I can imagine this feeding more than 5 people. It is truly the most value item on the menu, should you have the personnel to take it on. Highly recommended for anyone who likes mediterranean food! Try the baba ganoush and roasted eggplant!!
First time dining at Lemon Zest for dinner on a Saturday night with the family and we had an amazing dinner experience. Lemon Zest provided both delicious meals and excellent customer service, thanks to Natalie. We dined here on a busy Saturday night. We were seated immediately and didn't have to wait long to be seated. Our order consisted of 3 Combo # 1 with half rice and half salad, Chicken Lule Kabob with all garden salad, truffle Parmesan fries, Beef Kabob and Combo # 2 with half rice and half garden salad. Natalie also noted the fact that one of our family member has a peanut and tree nut allergy. We love dining at restaurants that accommodate people with peanut and tree nut food allergies. We have added Lemon Zest to our favorite restaurant list as we know Lemon Zest caters to families with food allergies. We also have shared and told our family and friends about Lemon Zest. The portions of their meals are plentiful and more than enough. The kabobs chicken and beef were all so tender and flavorful. The chicken and beef were not overcooked. The basmati rice was also cooked perfectly. We can't wait to come back to Lemon Zest and try other food items on their menu.
I needed to meet a friend who had appointments in the Northridge area. Checking Yelp, I settled on us having dinner at Lemon Zest. It was another great find! At 5pm it was kind of quiet on a Tuesday, but we chose our table and were immediately provided ice filled glasses and a liter of chilled water, which was welcome on such a hot day! My friend and I each ordered the lamb kabob plate, mine with Greek Salad and she selected half rice and half salad. We were able to specify we would like the lamb cooked rare. Everything that was served was so perfect, with generous portions! The salad had feta cheese. Kalamata olives, pepperoncini, onions, etc. I found the house dressing so refreshing. The lamb was tender and perfectly cooked. This will be another restaurant I will recommend to all my friends and family. I will definitely return when I next visit the area.
A five-star rating will always get my attention, so I was curious to see if Lemon Zest lived up to the hype. It definitely did. We were seated right away, which is always a great start. We kicked things off with the Shiraz salad and pita bread. The salad was fresh with a nice tang, and the grilled pita added a really good flavor to it. For mains, we had the vegan beef gyro and the falafel gyro with fries. Both were really good. Well seasoned and the portions were generous.
Brought my mom here for her early birthday dinner on a Sunday night, there was plenty of people and plenty of space for big parties. The staff was very friendly and greeted us as soon as we arrived, there's like a lounge area as soon as you walk in that they were just waiting at for people to come I guess. The food was amazing! Portion and price totally worth it! Would love to come back again soon!
Came by to have dinner with family. I think my first time may have been years ago as I don't remember so this may as well be my first lol. I like the design of the place and it has an "open" feel to it. Most of the tables were full but we were seated quickly. Our server, Natalie was really nice and delivered great service. I ordered the Combo #2 Beef Kabob and Chicken Lule. With half and half rice and garden salad. Wow even at half, there was a lot of salad! Actually portions were all pretty large. The salad and rice were both good. The salad was actually kind of filling cause it had so much in it! The beef kabob was juicy and flavorful. The chicken lule looked good but was a tad dry. May have been my dish though as I was surprised, considering everything else I ate. We also tried the Truffle Parmesan Fries. The fries were cooked well and crispy. Creamy with a hint of tanginess and zesty. Very good! I would definitely return. Thank you!
I placed an order at 12PM through grubhub to be picked up BY 12:45pm. I figured that is plenty time to give to have my order ready and I never got any notification that there was an issue. We get there to pick up the order and was given attitude that they just received the order. (Note on my receipt when the pick up by time is and when the order was placed at 12:48PM when we went to pick up). Not only that but the food is bland and so greasy. There is a pool of oil at the bottom of the to go container. Never again.
Very high reviews and I completely agree! The price point is a bit high, but the portions are larger, quality is great, and everything was delicious!!! I ordered completely different than my usual Mediterranean go to meal, but I was very impressed. A huge gyro and side of fries was very satisfying. The beef gyro is one of their best sellers, so naturally I ordered it. Not sure what made me choose fries, but these were perfection. There was plenty of parking in the evening hours in the private lot. Only thing is the front of the restaurant is dark so it's easy to miss driving by. This may be my new favorite spot in the valley (for Mediterranean food).
We haven't dined in yet, but we've ordered delivery from Lemon Zest several times and it's been consistently excellent. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and comes in very generous portions. We've tried a variety of items--plates, wraps, and gyros--and everything has been delicious. You can really taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients. They're also great about following special instructions and modifications, which we really appreciate. Reliable, tasty, and satisfying every time--we'll definitely keep ordering!

Located on the corner of a small business area. Only neighbor is a Dental office. First visit and I am a big fan! Walking in the restaurant is warm and inviting and we got a lovely greeting. Decor is earthy yet chic. I love the layout too. Only had to wait 10 min for a table on Saturday night. The hostess seated us quickly. We noticed a separate venue space where a party was being held. The people were obviously having a great time. The dining space is spacious and tables are not stacked on-top of each other. Menu had lots of options included vegetarian and vegan. I order the Combo #1 Chicken/Beef and my friend got the Lamb Gyro. We order a hummus appetizer and lemonade. Cameron was a server she was great. This is my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in the San Fernando Valley! I tell everyone about this place. The portion size of the food is really big for the price that you pay. The service is amazing. They're very attentive and helpful and understanding their menu. And I just love the way that the indoor is designed makes your experience feel a lot more elegant! Oh man, if you're hungry during lunch, come for their lunch special! You can choose between rice or salad (can't do both), and any of the protein kabobs and 2 sides. There were so many options for everything that it was hard to choose! I ended up going with the salmon kabobs, and they were cooked perfectly! Nice and perfectly charred on the outside, but so tender on the inside! Love love loved it!! The sides were good - the hummus and yogurt were good. They were also out of a few sides so that made me a little sad. The best part was the salad! Get the Greek salad. So so good with all of the fixings that you might not need a lot of dressing (or any dressing at all). Since there weren't that many of us in the restaurant, service was kind and available. read more

A beautiful restaurant with a very chill ambiance. The staff was very nice and helpful. The food was very flavorful and delicious. My daughter and I shared a combo plate that came with Greek salad, rice and two kabobs. I also ordered the babaganoush and that came with warm pita bread. It was so good. We are regular at this local restaurant and our families new favorite place. Recently I hosted a large surprise party for my son's going away on a Sunday and had a great experience again. Owners to staff are all very nice and accommodating which eases the stress on the host. This is the main reason we had a great time. Getting compliments on the food and atmosphere also makes us feel good and would like to share that with Lemon Zest management as well. From start to finish of our party, everything was just perfect. So happy to be back. This place never gets old! Date night in the perfect ambience again. The chicken kebab is so amazing, I can't even remember other kebabs, nor can I go anywhere else. The dinner portion is generous, you'll not be disappointed. The water in the bottle is a nice touch and more restaurants should do that. We really love the servers, too. Eureka! We finally found delicious Mediterranean in the area! And even better, a spot that charges fairly for the incredibly generous portions they serve. I thought this was going to be a quick serve restaurant where you order at the counter and then sit. It's not, it's a full service sit down restaurant! It's lovely inside. Most Mediterranean places charge $25+ for a paltry serving of bland meat and poorly cooked white rice. This is entirely the opposite. Their rice is buttery and moist, the kebabs are a generous and flavorful portion! When my cup of soup came out, it was a bowl. I thought they made a mistake. The lentil soup was so flavorful and overflowing with herbs. It was so much more than just hot brown water. The chicken gyro was amazing. The chicken kebab that they dice up and use for the gyro is delicious and has been marinated in yogurt... it's SO tender! They're also open until 10p which is great for a late night bite. I always enjoy a great Mediterranean spot. This place fulfills the hunger need with the greatest of ease. To start, you will need to try their Combo Four which is Lamb kebab and chicken kabob. The portions are perfect and the flavors are flowing with deliciousness. Their Greek Fries With Feta cheese, Olives, Pickled Cabbage, Mint, and Greek sauce is also a great choice. The options on their menu are many, but I would start with these items. The staff is friendly and will help you with any of your questions. Parking is in their lot and is a non issue. What a treat to dine at Lemon Zest. We've been here a few times and absolutely had wonderful experience. Good Mediterranean food and service. Staff is very friendly. The hostess explained the menu fully. The atmosphere inside is really nice and feels like your dining at hotel lounge. Good assortment of small and large tables, plus sofas for chillin. Perfect for any occasion and large parties. They have 4 large TVs in dining area. We came on Sunday and got to watch a few NFL Games while we dined. Parking is shared with dental office next door, so it's limited during the day. Plentiful at night. The hummus with pita bread was delicious. My only complaint was they only give you one pita bread, which wasn't enough. We paid few bucks more for additional pita bread. I got chicken and beef lule kabob combo which was amazing. I got mine with half rice and Greek salad. The meat was so tasty and tender. Sriracha chicken kabob had nice kick and very delicious. Rice and salad was on point. Everything was well seasoned and fresh. Portions were huge and more than enough for two people. Overall, we left stuffed and happy, and will definitely be back. read more

This restaurant used to be a hooka lounge and now it's a restaurant. The food here is amazing. Great quality and has big portions. The owner, Sevan is very welcoming, funny, kind, and accommodating. Cool vibes. The decor is very cute with a modern-style lounge feel. They have plenty of indoor seating and televisions to watch the games throughout the restaurant. Prices are economical. It's' a great place for a birthday gathering or any kind of celebration. They have plenty of people purchasing to-go items and dining inside. I'm going to be very honest and straightforward per usual when I post my reviews. This restaurant is definitely going to excel in Northridge!!! The Food was beyond amazing, fresh, and good amounts to get your money worth it! Food: I ordered the combo which I shared with my mom since they give you some really good portions. We were able to get two kabobs of our Choice thanks to Sevan the owner, who let us get one chicken kabob and the other salmon. I really know that everything was absolutely delicious. The rice was perfect, the salad was so fresh with good dressing, salmon cooked to perfection and made just right and moist it melted in my mouth. The wheat pita bread even had melted butter on it! OMG so yummy! The yogurt was very good as well with a very different ting to it. I ate all my food and was very satisfied. No complaints at all for me with the quality of Lemon Zest. The service was amazing! Sevan was our server and he works very hard to keep his business going. He such a sweet guy and he makes sure his customers are happy. He's a very hardworking man. I am definitely going to come back because of this. The ambiance is very nice and cozy! The decor is really nice and it gives you the lounge vibe to talk and have the perfect environment with nice clean spacious seating and interior. The restrooms were really clean, which is a plus for me. Anyways, It's a very nice place to go for lunch with friends or dinner since they close at 10:00pm everyday. They have so many different options to choose from. They even have teriyaki kabob and Sriracha chicken which I've never saw at many Mediterranean grills. It's so many options to choose from it's ridiculous. I'm sure everything is right on point. In a nutshell, this will be my go to place for Mediterranean food for now on in my community. We drove by this place and had to turn around because we are always down to try Mediterranean food... Especially ones that have good reviews on Yelp! I'm so glad we did! My husband and I ordered food to go. When we walked in, we couldn't believe how big the place was! Everything was very clean, all the seats/ couches looked very comfortable. We can't wait to go back to dine in. The lady behind the counter was friendly and very helpful with any questions we had about the menu. She offered us water while we waited for our food. When we got home, we were very happy with the way everything was packed. Nothing was burned (a little burn is okay, but we were hating that other places would make their kabobs black!). As for the taste of the food? It was so good! Our only regret was not getting hummus with our order! We will definitely come back! read more

Great. I had the non-meat or vegetarian kabobs with half rice and half Greek salad combo to go. Lots of quality food and the lules tasted like meat. I only have half hour break and can usually stuff my dinner in my big mouth within 20 minutes, not tonight. It's not cheap but hardly anything is. read more
