You know a place is good when there's a line at 4:00 pm on a weekday! We waited about 20 minutes to be seated and the aroma of bbq was teasing us as we waited for the deliciousness waiting for us. Be warned that parking can be a pain if you go when it's busy because of the shopping center and not many spaces to park. But well worth the trouble of waiting for a spot. We went in and seated and greeted by our lovely server. She explained the menu and we opted for premium because yes, I'm worth it ;-) if you do the basic you pick your meat selection from a self-serve section which has your basic marinated chicken, beef and thick cut pork belly. With premium you get more of a selection. The meat portions were perfect and the banchan was delicious, their kimchi is really good and the appetizers were all tasty. You order on a tablet and they are quick to bring your food to your table. Service was great and the price so reasonable. This may be our new favorite AYCE KBBQ. My boyfriend and I love coming here for the food. It's always great and consistent. However the service is not the best, but we deal with it because we understand it can get busy. However, we went yesterday (a Wednesday, and it wasn't super super busy) and as soon as we walked in we received a big attitude from our waitress. We thought it was the host at first then she ended up taking care of the section around us. We were extremely polite and said please and thank you so it wasn't us. But for some reason it was just us receiving a super bad attitude from her even before we sat down. As someone that has served for so long, I don't understand why it was only to us? We trekked down and they helped find us a spot so we could park the stroller with our sleeping toddler. Overall the service was great, this is a little mom and pop kbbq stop and felt like the sweet ahjummas were working there. We got the $35 menu and the meat quality was decent for the price, the tongue was probably one of my favorite cuts but we also enjoyed the rib finger meat, beef belly, pork jowl and the prime flat iron steak. Finished off the meal with a scoop of ice cream. One star was taken off because the table was still covered in spots of grease and sauce on my side. It gets packed so make sure to check into the yelp waitlist early! I went on a Friday evening and the wait was about 1.5 hours. The sides include banchan like sliced radishes, kimchi and fish cake. You order a side salad, corn cheese, steamed egg, miso soup as part of the AYCE menu. The sauces on the sides include sesame oil + salt, brisket sauce and a spicy pepper sauce. The beef belly is my favorite and I'd recommend that. It is cut quite thinly so it cooks fast and goes well with their brisket sauce. They do have outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. Saturday 1/18/25 about 12pm. Me and my wife had not been here since pandemic times when they had outdoor seating. It was not a good experience so we had not been back but drove by yesterday and saw an under new management sign and thought it was time to give it another try. Initially, we went in and was told to go back outside and sign up on the electronic wait list though no one was in line. We did so and was messaged 2 or 3 minutes later. We were then immediately seated. Someone went over the menu and the ordering process with us using a tablet at the table. It was a little confusing and overwhelming at first but it is a practical and efficient way to order what you want. Many times at most Korean bbq places we go to, a lot of the banchans placed at the table were wasted because we did not like all that were put out. With the tablet, you order the banchans you want as well as the premium meats and hot appetizers and they bring them out. Service was great even when they had to tell me they did not have any ketchup as I had ordered french fries. They patiently helped me and my wife with ordering as were used to ordering small portions of meat like half orders and were not sure how to do that on the tablet. They also had a self service bar for the sauces and some meats like bulgogi and pork belly that was well maintained and clean. The quality of all the meats we had were good. The vibe of the place was casual with tvs on the wall and music playing in the background. The prices were ok but we are used to getting the steamed egg included in $30 level menus at other places but for $3.99 extra it was the best steamed egg we have had. The higher level menu had it included. Our meal for 2, a drink and a tip came out to $81. Overall, it was nice to come back and give this place a 2nd look as it definitely has changed from our previous visit. I would recommend giving it a try but me and my wife will probably stick with places that you just order from the server what you want. Waitlist was honored so I was happy for my turn, it was my son's request for his birthday! We were seated and the host proceeds to take my sons height and informs us he's an adult price since he's "tall" that was disappointing but the waitress that night engaged with me and said no he just turned 9 and charged me a child's price for him and thank goodness he's a picky eater. Instead of the typical ordering through a waiter, they have tablets. It is a bit laggy only when submitting an order. Their self serve meat bar was great too. I highly recommend their steak bites; try getting the ones with less fat and it's so tender. Their meat is definitely well seasoned as well. Whenever I usually got to ayce k bbq, I would usually drown the meat into the dipping sauce. However this place didn't need for me to drown it. On top of that, they have a large variety of sauces and they're all pretty good. The waiters are also really chill and quick with the service. It was also really well maintained. Sometimes you're craving KBBQ and if you can't find someone to go with you, you're out of luck since most places require a minimum of two for AYCE KBBQ. After a year, I'm happy to see that takeout is still an option here at RH BBQ 2! I thought it would have stopped when dine in opened back up, but to my delight I was still able to order. It's still a great deal if you want the Korean BBQ experience at home and need to satisfy the craving. It's not AYCE but they aren't stingy on the meat and actually give you a portion well worth the price. They were about $14-15 each and it comes with rice by default and your choice of two sides. It's cool that they even offer rice paper as an option so you can really feel like you're eating KBBQ. The quality of the meat, sides, sauces were good! Although I usually order brisket when getting AYCE, I'd probably recommend the beef belly for takeout since there's more fat which helps it from being too dry. I ordered through Yelp and it didn't show that they confirmed the order so I didn't know if it went through at first. After a few calls, they said it had already been ready for about 25 minutes. We arrived and there was literally no wait, I was a little surprised and thought maybe it could be a bad sign. However, I was definitely mistaken! The service was great! They seated us right away and were quick to begin taking our drink, sauce and banchan order. The quality of the meat was fantastic! They have their two tiers, 25.99 for the first tier and, 30.99 for the 2nd. We opted for the first tier as it already had most of our favorites included. I haven't been here since it was the previous Korean BBQ before RH BBQ 2. I believe there was some fire previously and hence RH BBQ 2 emerged and has been here since. Me and my family were trying to find a place that we hoped would still be pretty good without waiting too long. Luckily they did have the Yelp Waitlist, so I was able to get myself on there before I actually arrived at the place. If you haven't tried Yelp waitlist, it is so useful and easy. You just put how many people you are with and you will get confirmation. Some places actually also send you a text. Anyways we are were glad to have stopped by, because we were able to find a seat pretty fast. The only thing I would say about this place is that it is a bit run down in terms of furniture. Overall the experience was pretty well. Before you start to eat, you are to choose if you are going to go for the regular or the plus. I believe the regular is about $26 while the plus was about $30. It was worth is for the plus as they do have certain meats that I believe are more worth it like the beef tongue. The rib finger also was pretty good, but just try to be aware on what they bring to you. Twice I had meat that I didnt order. I believe it might have been the iron steak, and the problem is that it isn't a small piece of steak. You do not want to get filled with that. Also the shrimp that we ordered never came as well.. so I would just try to make sure you ask. Other then this, the food was pretty decent for what you pay for. The quality of the meats is outstanding. The place is small but the service is better than any other restaurant I've been to. No fancy robots delivering your menu choices, just an entire staff that will check on you to make sure you're having the best experience possible. My MIL wanted AYCE Korean bbq with self serve for her birthday and this place was the only place close to us that had that. We live 20 mins away so the drive wasn't too bad! We got there at about 1pm (6/22/24), I did schedule a waitlist on the way there and got the notification that our table was ready within 5 mins and once there, we got seated right away. The place isn't too big but not small either. There's a good amount of table and they were relatively busy. We helped ourselves to the self serve area, which is only consist of marinated meats only but the non marinated/fresh meats would have to be ordered separately. We got beef bulgogi, pork belly and soy garlic pork belly. Fresh meat items - we ordered beef belly, beef briskets, Galbi, pork jowl, top sirloin (1 per person), filet mignon (1 per person), and of course the side dishes. Everything was so good! The staff there was really nice, so attentive and they made sure to continuously change our grill. They've changed it like 3-4 times. As we were about to leave, one of the staff mentioned she has a cheesecake for my MIL birthday! What a surprise! They went above and beyond, the service was excellent! Me and my son went for a late night dinner just to get out and spend some time together. I found this place on Yelp and it had good ratings so I said let's go and try it. We were greeted right away and sat down within 5mins (Tuesday night). It's a small place and most seats were filled, that's always a good sign. As we sat down the waiter took our order for meats right away we ordered up to 4 items at a time and they were still waiting if we wanted more so that's good. The meat came out very fast, and that is how it was through our whole time being here. Different waiters will come if the see you lift that menu haha. The food quality is what you expect for $36 a person no wagyu here but the meats were delicious and like I said they were quick and very friendly. I would recommend this place if you want to go with friends and family for a good affordable lunch or dinner. If you're trying to impress your new girl I wouldn't bring her here unless she was down to earth and cool. The booths do need reupholstering as they are cracking and tearing but over all it was a positive experience with good food and great service.
