Came for dinner to celebrate my stepdad's birthday with my siblings and sad to say, I will never come back. This establishment felt very unsanitary. The floors and tables were so sticky that I had to wipe our table down myself. We had to keep waving for a grill change and the vents never came on. What made it worst was that everytime we put in an order they kept on stacking on the serving so, by our third order we were stuffed we didn't get to fully enjoy the full ayce selections. For the price that I paid it was definitely not worth it. read more

I've been to this establishment many times. I've brought family friends a coworkers always raving about this place. We've always had ashlie on our previous visits who was always outstanding. This time around we had Elvira Robles. This woman was a nightmare. She was extremely rude from the start. When it came to paying we noticed a mistake on our check she rudely accused us of lying. We explained this was not our fault but continued to be rude. I will never come back and I will make sure everyone I know and have told not to ever come back. What a shame read more

Perfect for anyone doing keto. My husband and I came on a Sunday afternoon around 2:30pm--there was barely any wait and checking in is easy on their entry tablet. We loved that they had a meat bar so we could get some chicken, pork belly, and bulgogi while we waited on our order of brisket. You're able to order more from their tablets and service is fast. We went on a Saturday and it was surprisingly very easy to get 2 tables! We had a party of 8 and they had no problem accommodating us. The service is incredibly fast as they use iPads to order from the table which I haven't seen utilized nearly enough in other kbbq places! The self serve section is also a very welcome treat. Not sure what the hype is about this place. It's been a very long time since we had a KBBQ date and we had been searching around for AYCE places. Decided to try this place out. It wasn't big inside, but there is designated parking in the front. People were in for lunch and the person cleaning the vents was also the person who would change out your grill when you needed. One server took care of the 4 or 5 tables that were occupied. Price was reasonable for the quality, plates were pretty full with meat and the selection was ok. Menu is a QR code. But I've never been to a KBBQ that only offered 3 or 4 sides, with 3 different sauces. Doors were left open so the smoke blew into my face and I had to move my seat. This place was a one and done for us. read more

I used to really love this spot when they would allow vegetarians to not pay full price, like most KBBQ places do for their vegetarian customers. Only wish you're able to purchase a la carte bc my daughter is 12 and eats only miso/ rice/ and two bites of meat and you guys charge $30. We would go more often if it were accommodating. Food Quality: All the food here was delicious and they even provide more selections at a food bar that you can get and bring it back to your table. (4.8/5) Service: The service here was nice! Our food was brought out pretty consistently and we never had a problem with missing any orders. Our waiter was nice and patient, allowing us to get a table even when everyone hadn't arrived yet. (5/5) Ambiance: Overall, the ambiance here is fine. The place is semi-clean. The floors were squeaky as usual for these BBQ places and the restrooms were dirty as people were messy, but the tables and seats were clean enough to dine at. The ventilation here isn't good so you will come out with a huge scene of that BBQ smell. (3/5) Value: I came here for the lunch special which I found very worth considering the quality of meats they provide at such a low rate! We even ordered their premium selection which was a bit higher, but it was kinda worth it. (4/5) Location: Depending on the day you go here, you may or may not have trouble finding parking. The service was great (checked in with us a few times throughout our meal), the meat quality was fantastic, love their tofu soup (in most KBBQ places, it's an afterthought--their soup was SO GOOD) ventilation was great where it wasn't too smoky, and the best part? The PRICE. You cannot beat $22 for an AYCE KBBQ weekday lunch. The only downside is the waiting -- I had come here previously TWICE and it was a 3.5 hour wait. I don't blame people, this place is one of the best ones I've eaten in my eating career, lol. Would highly recommend this place! read more

RH BBQ 2 is under new management, and it is important for them to regularly review and respond to Yelp reviews. Doing so will help identify areas for improvement and show appreciation to loyal customers for their positive feedback. Currently, the restaurant has an impressive average rating of 4.5 stars on Yelp. Let's start with the positives. While the Premium option at $37.99 may seem slightly expensive, it is worth the price. It also provides you with a tablet to order the premium meats and appetizers. The self-service meats, although convenient, do not appear particularly appetizing. In contrast, the premium meats, while not exceptional, are of noticeably higher quality, especially given concerns about inconsistent temperatures at the self-serve stations, which could pose a health risk. The appetizers, including shrimp, squid, dumplings, and other items, are delicious and well-prepared. The side bar offerings such as kimchi and cucumber are authentic, fresh, and have just the right balance of seasoning and spice. There are some areas that require attention. The exhaust system is not effective at removing smoke from the grill, which leads to a very smoky dining environment. After cooking approximately three trays of meat, the grill surface becomes heavily smoky and needs to be changed. At times, the smoke is so intense that it caused our party to cough. A fan on the floor had to be turned facing our table to blow the smoke away, but everything else was also blowing away, which didn't make for an enjoyable dining experience. Additionally, the floors can become greasy due to meat splatter from the grill. Although non-slip strips have been installed, the risk of slipping remains a concern. My shoes felt very slippery after stepping on the greasy floor. Parking is also limited, as several spaces are reserved. However, street parking is available nearby. Overall, RH BBQ 2 offers a decent dining experience with standout customer service. Since there is a 1.5-hour time limit, be sure to keep an eye on the time. We were asked to leave promptly once the time is up, so lingering to chat afterward is discouraged, as other guests are waiting to be seated. With a few operational improvements, it has strong potential to enhance both the customer experience and safety. read more

We just moved to the area and decided to try somewhere new for dinner. Based off the reviews I thought we would be eating at a great spot. Unfortunately It was far from it. It started out promising, but quickly turned disappointing. We were sat down just about as soon as we walked in and Servers came right to our table. They took down our order immediately and I hadn't noticed that they do request a Credit card to be collected at the beginning of the meal, to prevent dine and dashing. I feel that it's a little rude and odd to assume that all customers would do something like that. But whatever, we have been busy with our move and were hungry so didn't make a big deal. So then we got our first round of meats & sides and two hour time limit officially began. We started with bulgogi & and brisket, salad and rice. The bulgogi had a nice flavor and I felt like the brisket is basically what you make it once seasoned so it was decent. When we finish that round that's when it pretty much went downhill. We were not waited on for almost 30 minutes despite multiple attempts to flag someone down. The bus boy even came to our table and tried to turn off the grill thinking that we had already finished our meal. We even mentioned to him that we only got our first round. Still another few minutes passed before my boyfriend was able to actually get someone to our table. We requested a few more meats & sides and only received one meat and two of the 4 sides we asked for. Tables around us that had multiple patrons were waited on diligently while we were ignored. And another 20 minutes past and we decided that it was time to get the check. When we get the check, the suggested gratuity begins at 18%. I'm not sure what kind of service they feel they are giving but I don't believe it's worthy of beginning at 18%. We were pretty much ignored our entire visit. I didn't have the heart to not tip well so we of course left a decent tip But I would strongly encourage anyone looking to try this place to your business elsewhere. read more

Occasionally, I find myself in the Rowland Heights area, and the allure of an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ lunch for $19.99 on a weekday was too tempting to resist. However, before you step foot in this establishment, brace yourself for the aftermath: the pervasive scent of BBQ smoke that clings to you, your clothes, and everything you carry. Despite the presence of vents, which seem more ornamental than functional, the interior is often thick with smoke, making it arguably the worst in terms of ventilation among KBBQ spots. Additionally, the floor can be perilously slippery due to oil accumulation. Now, onto the food--a mixed bag, to say the least. The side dishes left much to be desired; the Jap Chae lacked the usual array of garnishes, consisting solely of plain noodles. A mix-up with the Bean Paste Soup resulted in a serving of miso soup, not even listed on the menu. The fish cake was a disappointment--soggy and flavorless. Surprisingly, they even charge for something as basic as steam egg, a letdown for sure. Their self-serve meat bar, mostly comprising marinated options, failed to leave a lasting impression. However, dishes ordered from the menu were presented beautifully and boasted decent quality. Unfortunately, seafood options is not an option. One unique offering was the cinnamon pineapple, a nostalgic taste from my time in Africa. Regrettably, the version here fell short, served from a can and lacking the vibrant flavor I remembered. While I'm all for a good lunch special, I refuse to sacrifice quality for a lower price point. For a similar cost, I'd opt for Road to Seoul in Alhambra, where the experience is consistently superior. My recommendation? Skip this lunch special altogether. Lastly, the parking situation in the plaza is abysmal. Despite numerous handicap spaces, they're often all occupied. After circling the lot multiple times, I managed to snag a regular parking spot--but it was far from convenient. read more

This is easily the best AYCE kbbq I've had. The meat quality is surprisingly so so so good. I actually really like the concept of having the self serve meat bar because I can just grab what I need. Premium is only 36.99 and it's got everything you want. All the steaks alone beat the price already but the best part about this place for me was the service. Jae was such a delight. Made our experience 50 times better! She greeted us when we sat down and started with explaining the menu which was great! When I say I never even had a chance to ask her for anything because she already got it for us. She told us not to hesitate to flag her down if we needed anything but didn't even need to flag her down at all. I don't know how this girl did it because she was literally everywhere doing everything but didn't miss a thing!! She was bright, so funny, personable, and gave great suggestions. I asked her for something to try and she suggested beef tongue which was so good!! If you're even thinking about going to Let's Gogi in Rowland Heights just go. It's hands down one of my favorite spots. The meat bar is honestly the star of the show. Everything is fresh, high quality, and there are so many options that it's hard not to get excited loading up your plate. Whether you're going for the classics or trying something new, the variety and flavor never disappoint. But my personal favorite? The side dish bar. It's SO good. There's a ton of options and everything tastes amazing perfect to mix and match with your meats. It honestly takes the whole experience to another level. The seating is okay and well set up, the service is consistently great. Staff is attentive, fast, and friendly, which makes a huge difference at a busy spot like this. The only downside? The wait when it's super busy. It can get pretty long but honestly, that just tells you how good the place is. And once you're in, it's 100% worth it. When we pointed out that we understood the time limits but weren't ready to wrap up, she backtracked and asked, "Oh, OK, well, this is your last order?" It was a bit awkward and disrupted the vibe. This BBQ spot is a meat lover's dream! Forget waiting for a server - they arm you with a magical tablet and let you unleash your inner carnivore. Pile your plate high with deliciousness and savor every juicy bite. They even have a hilarious height-based pricing system for the little ones - talk about creative! But beware, the steam egg is a sneaky extra charge, and sadly, no complimentary ice cream to finish (the kids might stage a revolt and head to the other K-BBQ across the street-they give green tea ice cream). The lunch special ($21.99 before 4 PM weekdays) is a fantastic deal, but be warned: the smoke can get a bit intense. My kids' eyes started watering, so maybe they need to crank up the ventilation or keep the doors open a bit wider. Parking can be a bit of a challenge in this small plaza, so arrive a tad early. Online check-in is a must, and the whole crew needs to be present. Despite the smoky haze, the meat is undeniably delicious! Just be prepared for a bit of a smoky battle. read more

I came here with my little one and a close friend, excited to try the premium course. From the start, the service was exceptional the waitstaff were bubbly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. Everything came out quickly, and the staff really added a warm touch to the experience. However, the dining environment and food quality left much to be desired. We were seated at a dimly lit table in the back, which felt dingy and made it difficult to read the menu. The biggest disappointment was the grill it wasn't heating properly, making it impossible to get a good sear on our meats. As a result, everything came out chewy and tough. On top of that, there was an odd aftertaste, which made us question whether the grill was cleaned thoroughly. While I truly appreciated the wonderful staff, the food and overall experience just didn't live up to expectations. Maybe it was an off day, but unfortunately, I won't be returning. read more
