Nail polish coming off only after 6 days.

So. . .I got a pedicure about a week ago and day 6, the nail polish already started coming off. The customer service was cool, the pedicure service felt very nice but I've never had polish come off so quickly. The polish is part of the cost and service and for it to barely last 6 days is really disheartening. I will not be returning.

Ok, pause!!! This is actually my second review for Lexi's -- the first was pre-renovations. Before I go any further, let me just say: 10/10, no complaints. I've had my nails done by most of the techs here, and they're all great, but I have to admit... Lena is my fav!! She's gentle, thorough, and always gets the job done right. Overall pleasant experience. Thanks Lena!

I've been looking for a good nail salon that I can commit to, and so far this one has not disappointed as much as others have. I've been here twice already, 2 pedis, 2 manís and all done by Ellie. She is great! She definitely makes you feel relaxed, and you can really enjoy the appointment. She's only there on weekends, and I have no problem with that. Overall the place is quiet, clean and relaxing. My only complaint, I don't think the nail polish lasts as long as it does at other salons. Maybe it was a one time thing, hopefully, because I really like this place.

Huge cut by pedicure from one of the guys

If I could I would put 0 stars. We came here 1 week ago for pedicures and my daughter came out with a huge cut. It didn't look big at first but as time goes by we can see how deep it is. My daughter did tell the guy it hurt her and he put alcohol on it but continued. This was the first time coming here and will be the last. Way too harsh pedicure to give a big cut. See for it yourself.

I come here occasionally because I like the cozy vibe and prices. I do recommend making an appt because they get really busy. My only complaint is this time she did cut me a few times because she was rushing a bit. I don't blame her because it was a hectic day there with walk ins but I would have preferred her not to rush the clients sitting down already. I likely will still return though because it's convenient and they are friendly.

Walked in on a random Saturday and surprisingly there wasn't a line! I just found this nail salon randomly through Yelp and desperately needed a pedicure. Because I've never been here before, I went with the basic pedicure "spa pedicure" for $32 and got my cousin the kids pedicure for $20! Prices are great for the service!! I'm used to paying at least $50 for a pedicure so I thought this was a steal. Overall, it was quiet (since my cousin and I were the only ones inside) but I enjoyed our services we got. I would love to come back again! They even provided some drinks and snacks!

Walk in's welcome, which I did. Anne/Annie helped me soaking off old nails and gel, then short dipped powder gel set. Very natural, neat and clean, short with plus manicure and trimmed my cuticles. Beautiful shop, reasonable prices, friendly personal, love the nails. Happy too about the pricing. 08.08.2023 Another excellent experience with Anna at Lexi nails. Amazing relaxing pedicure with gel polish, wow so good. Anna was thorough, gentle and provide a great massage too. I also got my nails done, dip polish with a periwinkle blue polish for nails and toes. I called to make an appoint for another day but they had availability for 15 minutes after my call. Great afternoon, thank you Anna!

I called for an appointment for dip powder removal, $10, for my daughter and do my pedicure, $32. The total is $42 paid by credit card, I gave her $10 cash tip. The middle-age lady turned around to holler to the whole room about the amount of tip I was giving out to her in a bad tone of voice. I have mani and pedi about once a month, I will never go back there again. read more

I'm always trying different spots for pedicures but I have returned for the 3rd time now and I believe this is where I'll be going from now on. Very clean and staff are welcoming and friendly. Their pedicure starts from $32. So far I've only tried the very basic spa package and it includes the scrub and hot stones! I love the massage and hot towel too. I have yet to try their other pedicure packages one day. read more

It's a new nail spa located in Elk Grove, next to Walmart. I've tried so many places I figured I'd give this one a go since it's not far from my home. They got me in right away in the morning and the place is clean. They got pretty busy around 10 am. I went to Maria, she was very nice. I received a mani and pedi and the results were mediocre. I gave it 3 stars because they are friendly and the place is clean. I haven't tried the other 2 nail techs in the salon but maybe I'll try them if I decide to go back. read more

I went here a few days ago as a walk-in for a manicure. I had a rough day at work and was hoping to get a little relaxation. Only 2 other customers in the shop, So they were able to accommodate me right away The technician that saw me was chilling out laying back on a pedi-chair. She seemed a little bothered that I came in. I was never offered a services menu. She was rough and rushed through my appointment. I was literally there for 30 minutes for a manicure with gel and at least 5 minutes of that time she was walking around looking at the other technicians work. The hand massage (if you want to call it that) was literally less than a minute on each hand. No hot wax was offered or anything. My fee was $32. I'm giving 2 stars because my nails turned out ok. But the customer service is zero stars. Also if the shop is reading this.... Playing Asian music videos might be nice for you and your staff but customers may not find it very appealing. read more

My daughters been working so hard and had such a bad week with personal stuff that I wanted to treat her and made her an appt to get her nails done and this is what she came home with what's sad is she couldn't even rip them off and is stuck with them for God knows how long was happy a nail salon opened near us but I guess I'll have to keep looking read more

My daughter needed her acrylic nails removed. I called this place because I saw that they were new and wanted to give them a chance. Support local small business, right? I talked to Ana and asked how much acrylic nail removal was and she said it was $15. I thought that was more than I paid the last time in another salon so I called other salons in the area and they all charge $10. I think that is shrewd business practice. But you decide. read more

Stopped by here yesterday at 6pm to get a fill and pedicure. They lady that spoke to me said "no they close at 7pm." I could at least been offered one or the other a fill or a pedicure if they didn't have time to do both. Especially if you are a "new" salon trying to get customers. If you try to come here, I would suggest calling first, as for myself, I will not be returning. Terrible customer service read more

Terrible customer service. I was told to come in 5 minutes for a polish change for my daughter & when I arrived I sat for 12 minutes before I asked how much longer to be serviced. I was told she had to get done with 2 more people and then she would service my daughter. Safe to say we will not be returning! Lack of communication and terrible attitudes! read more

She was very friendly, animated, and you could tell she genuinely enjoys interacting with her customers. It is always nice to see an owner who is passionate about their business and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Everyone in our group had a great experience, and we all left happy and relaxed. I can see why people keep coming back. If you're looking for a place with great service, talented technicians, and a fun and friendly environment, JB Nails & Spa is definitely worth a visit. The spa pedicure includes the paraffin- which is a must for me. Every person that has done my nails have been incredible beyond words. What I really appreciate? They're probably the best prices Elk Grove has to offer for the quality you get. Making an appointment is easy- I always call about 30-60 mins before I arrive and rarely had an issue. Parking is nice and I love stopping by the Nugget after for a quick lunch. I will say, my only negative is that I wish I was consistently offered something to drink. Sometimes, it's not offered. For me, my pedicure and manicure experience includes mimosas. It's my monthly treat and I'm not brave enough to ask for it unless they're taking a drink order. Some of the artists are reallllllly great about asking and some don't. It's not a deal breaker for me though.

Not only was this nothing like acrylic and what I believe not done well at all, it was triple what a full set might have cost. That was an absolute shock when I went to pay. I wasn't really happy with the quality of the work done once I got home and researched what a gel set was and supposed to look like and not to my surprise my concerns were valid. So I called and was asked to come back so they could make it right only to be told once there that this is normal and when my nails grow out the gap will close. She showed me her set and they were absolutely nothing like mine and honestly what I would have expected mine to look like and I said that to her and she told me it's because her nails have grown out and now the gap has closed. That logic isn't lining up for me and I didn't want to keep going round and round. I stated at least three times I didn't like it and it's not what I wanted, but she only said they could fix if a nail broke or came off. Now on vacation, I am having to scrap and dig sand, lotion and food out of the gap between each of my nail and the poorly applied fake nail that is way to big for my nail bed but was glued on anyway. My hair is getting stuck In between and pulling it out. It's like I have press on nails done by a toddler. Very frustrating to have paid so much and now having so many problems with them. This is so disgusting, I don't know why anyone would pay for this if this is the correct way to have them done.

I called the day before to schedule an appointment and the guy who answered the phone was very professional, took my name and helped me work out a time that was best for me and my mother to come in the next day. The next day when I arrived, we were quickly ushered to sit in our chairs (for a pedicure) and even given water as we were able to enjoy the massage chairs. The staff doing our pedicures were very friendly and attentive to doing exactly what we requested. The aesthetics of this shop is very pleasing as the shop itself is clean, neat and orderly. They also have a myriad of options for nail polish colors. I ended up selecting a gel nail polish, which at the time of writing this review, a month later, is still intact on my toe nails. (I know - I need another pedicure soon. lol) I will say the price was a little bit costly compared to other places I have been, however, that may be because we selected one of the highest packages. Either way, my mother enjoyed the shop and even upon leaving the guy at the register, welcomed us to come back by giving us a 10% off our next service coupon. I will say due to the friendly staff, the clean environment and all of the safety protocols that they take to make sure that you get a clean experience, I would definitely visit the shop again. I started coming here about 2024/2025 and have chose this as my go to ever since. Not only is it super convenient being so close to home, but I am always pleased with their work. Initially I was seeing Brian for nails and went to him and his work was exactly like the picture, if not better. I also go to Lillian for my pedicures and omgg I love her!! She has such an amazing attitude with a beautiful smile on her face in addition to her getting my toes looking right EVERY TIME !! The atmosphere is nice and they have good pricing as well. My technician, Jennifer, was amazing. I will admit, between work boots, running, and everyday activities, my feet are downright fugly! Somehow, Jennifer managed to make beauty out of my beast of toes. She was friendly, professional, and made the whole experience enjoyable. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Angel. She was very friendly, animated, and you could tell she genuinely enjoys interacting with her customers. It is always nice to see an owner who is passionate about their business and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Everyone in our group had a great experience, and we all left happy and relaxed. He suggested square so I agreed, but when he checked with me, I said I'd like it more rounded. He did a little, but not much. I also asked for ombré as the lady next to me had it done & it looked nice. I think he didn't want to actually try because while he did it, it didn't look nice and he let it stain all around my nail bed. I wound up filing them down at home to be more the shape I wanted. When they needed filled, I went elsewhere & they totally listened & did what I asked. Today, I came here again for a quick pedicure. I asked for the #2 because I have some calluses I need worked on. The girl I got today was half asleep. There was very little effort put in at all. She barely scrubbed my calluses at all. Then when she went to put oil on my feet, she squirted out a ton of nail polish remover directly into my foot & ankle. And she didn't even say anything or rinse it off. She just grabbed the oil and put it on top & rubbed it all in. That was the final thing that made me feel like I needed to write this review. I've come here because it's close to my home & it overall has good reviews, but neither of my experiences have been worth the money I've paid, I don't feel. So unfortunately, I won't be coming back.

We paid cash so it was only $100 for regular polish on both (assuming they don't tax when you pay cash) and we gave cash tips as well.
