Pretty mediocre. The falafel wasn't crispy and was a little doughy inside. The adana kebab wasn't as grilled as I wanted it to be and, instead, was a bit chewy. The baklava was mushy and dry. It also wasn't as sweet or honey flavored as usual. Was really hoping this would be better! read more

This is a true Dallas gem, classic and delicious Turkish food. Made with true love and inspiration, this hidden gem has some of the best Mediterranean/Turkish food anywhere in Texas (yup, Texas). The beef kabob plate is astonishingly delicious, and their chicken skewers are super juicy. The star here for me, though, is their pizza. Everything is hand made, and freshness is never an after thought here. This place gets full, and it does for good reason. And as always, never forget to order dessert, their baklava will have you in trance! read more

Really good restaurant. Clearly a smaller restaurant, but the food is solid. Prices are pretty reasonable given the quality. I got two lahmacuns which were bigger than I expected but nice and light. If you're craving Mediterranean, can't go wrong with this place. read more

This restaurant is a neighborhood gem. Their food is simply amazing and you won't be disappointed. Their hummus and baklava are the best I have ever had. The lamb chops melt in your mouth and very addicting. I ordered a carry out last week and can't stop thinking about how great the food is. I ordered another carry out tonight and had the sausage Pide, hummus, and lentil soup. Everything was hot, delicious, and so yummy. I can't recommend this wonderful restaurant enough! read more

I'm a big fan of Turkish food and am so glad I found this local place! I got the Turkish salsa as an appetizer along with a bowl of the lentil soup! Both were fresh and had amazing flavor! Next time I go I'll most likely try an item with one of their meats - my friend got the chicken salad and the small bites she let me have was delicious! I also had Turkish tea with my meal and it was hot and fresh! Staff was attentive as well. Can't wait to return. read more

This is a quaint little restaurant opened 3'weeks ago at the intersection of Frankford and Hillcrest. But don't let the unassuming exterior fool you because inside they cook up some amazing kebabs. Food is delicious and very reasonable. So glad this opened in our neighborhood! We had hummus, lamajun, and mixed grill platter. The meat was well seasoned and tender. Food is really good. All the dishes I tried were great except their bread. I think they buy pita from a bakery and heat before serving. Prices are reasonable. I particularly liked their lamb chops. Also, beef liver was quite good. It is a family business I believe. Service is ok. read more

I love his place. I order delivery quite often. I always get their dolmas. I will get cravings for them. Very traditional. The only complaint I have is that every once in a while the meat is a bit over cooked so it gets dry in delivery. It's really not even an issue. The rice is even amazing! read more

We have passed this place a thousand times and finally made it in tonight. So glad we did! Everything was incredible! Here is the breakdown of our orders: Drinks - we got the 'Lezzet special lemonade' and Turkish tea. The lemonade was very flavorful and reminded me of chicha morada (which I love). The tea was nice as well. Appetizer - falafel. I have only had falafel a handful of times, so I don't have much to compare this to. But I thought it was awesome! Lots of flavor with a crispy exterior. As a side note, the hummus that it came with was the best hummus I have ever had (I have had a lot of hummus). Main course - I went with the Adana kabob. The seasoning on the meat was perfect! It tasted great dipped in the yogurt sauce. My wife's dish was the real show stopper of the night. She ordered the lamb chops and we were both in heaven eating them. Great seasoning and perfectly cooked. Both dishes came with a side of rice. The rice was also very tasty! I am Turkish and this restaurant has a taste very closer than any food I used to eat in Turkey in Dallas including Ephesus. Turkish baklava here is always great, kunefe quality changes between great to so-so depending on your luck. My favorite here is lahmacun, dont let them to cut it ask for whole, it is not the traditional taste but still great. Kofte is bland. The staff is extremely friendly; we have been there several times and the service was exceptional last time we were there thanks to Serdar; hence the five stars is due to good service. read more

Place feels super homey and service is extremely nice. Got the four cold appetizer sampler and the Kiymali. I don't remember the name of the appetizers we picked but they were all really refreshing and clean tasting. A nice break from the usual fatty foods you get at other restaurants. Great food for an incredible value!! My wife and I have been multiple times, and everything we've had has been good. We took my dad once, and he said the side order of grilled vegetables was one of the best he ever had. I highly suggest the Pide. All of them are good. Even the vegetarian options! I ordered the falafel appetizer and the hibiscus lemonade. I love how they put a little bit of hummus at the bottom of the container where they place the falafel. The falafel was crispy and delicious and still very warm when it reached me. They hibiscus lemonade was really nice not overly sweet for my taste buds. read more

I came here about 3 weeks ago with my mother for lunch. It wasn't too busy, however, there were only two individuals working. One was serving/cashiering, one was cooking. Again, it wasn't busy for lunch-time, but we still had very, very slow service. I had to ask for water refills as the person serving never seemed to notice. We had to stare at him or flag him down to get his attention to order. The guy was nice, it just seemed like his first time ever waiting tables and he was not able to multi-task at all. The food was ok, but I've definitely had better. We had hummus and dolmas (grape leaves) for appetizers. The hummus was traditional and tasted good and the pita bread was fresh. The dolmas tasted about the same as the ones in the Whole Foods salad bar. I got the gyro as my entree, and the meat was more fatty and chewy than I've ever had it elsewhere; it's usually a very lean meat. I would have liked to try a desert, but it took so long as it was and I had to get back to work. Again, the food wasn't terrible, I've just had better. read more
