The customer service could be good, or could be not so good depending on how busy they are. The food even though we asked for their less fatty cut, was very fatty (pig). Overall, the food is good but don't come in expecting the best the world has to offer you. Most importantly though, always check the price when they are ringing you up. They will tell you occasionally a few dollars higher than the actual price that is literally printed on the receipt. Everyone raves about their crispy pork here, but I personally don't think I had that great of an experience. Don't get me wrong, the crispy pork was absolutely delicious, crispy pork skin and juicy meat and all, but their order for me personally wasn't that great. The worst Asian BBQ Deli I've been to. This place only takes cash, just like all the other Asian BBQ restaurants. The guy at the counter that takes the order was not very friendly. The person that cuts/chops the poultry, roast pork and meats needs to do better; there were lots of tiny pieces and tiny broken bones buried below the top layer. There is no consistency with the cut too. Perhaps he should learn how to cut and arrange the meats in a nicer presentation. The cashier at checkout was not very friendly either. It looks like the shop that you see in Chinatown, San Francisco. Simple decor, the roasted ducks were hanged, only a few items in the warmer - roasted ducks, pork and chicken legs. That were all I could see. Oh, and a few pastries or some sort of snacks. Nothing more. I was a bit overwhelmed by their language (Chinese or Vietnamese - I don't know). Some young people could speak English ;) I guess you tell them what you want (they got only a few items) and pay at the register on the left side. It doesn't come with rice nor anything. - Gluttony Expedition - Roasted duck: $9 for the very generous portion (1/2 size). Very tender, meaty, and juicy with flavors. Lien Hoa's roast duck surprised the sht outta me. Their duck actually has this thing called meat (unlike SW's duck, which is nothing but skin, bones and dried up mummified meat). Not only do their ducks have meat, it has plenty of it; perfectly cooked, oozing with gobs of juice. I read they use free range aminals; so, that may be the reason behind why their ducks are buff. I have to admit, their ducks are on par (maybe even better) than the legendary Cheung Hing, in SF's Sunset, and also The Great NY Noodle Town (GNYNT), in Manhattan's Chinatown. And, those 2 joints really do roasted meats right. The only disappointment was their Char Siu and Roasted Pork. It was still better than SW, since it did not have unrendered/undercooked fat/gristle. But, it was too dry. Maybe I just got a lean, old or dry batch? But, until I get a good char siu from them, Cheung Hing is easily the best char siu I've ever had (which they are also always Consistent at; an important factor). Cheung Hing's char siu (and also their roast pork) is almost other-worldly - super tender (reminiscent of a good texas bbq brisket or Katz's pastrami), ultra moist and never has any unrendered/undercooked tissues. If you don't mind getting yelled at and spoken to like you're an illiterate child, then this is the place for you. The food here is fantastic, but the service is an absolute joke. The store itself is quite small with a viewing counter to see all of the BBQ selections. There's a menu board in English, Chinese, and Vietnamese, so that's a thumbs up. The downside of this store is the service. My mom and I stopped by to get some duck. This elderly woman employee comes over and asks (more yelling than asking), "SAUCE?!?!", to which we replied that we would like the sauce on the side. She with an annoyed expression, screams back that it'll be an extra $2 for sauce on the side. We did not get the sauce, not for $2 and not with that attitude. My parents (at least my dad anyway) are insane. 2. The roast duck here has to be THAT good. I've tried three asian bbq shops: Lien Hoa, New Duong, and Hao Vi. The key distinction among them for the roast duck is that New Duong was the most salty so it had a more intense flavor; Hao Vi was the most sweet so go here if you like more sweetness in your bbq, and Lien Hoa was more balanced in the middle between the three. Customer service was the most friendly at New Duong, followed by Lien Hoa, and Hao Vi (the issue at Hao Vi is the guys cutting the meat - they can be impatient with customers). All said, you can't go wrong with any of these shops for roast duck. read more

I always love the roast pork ( Thit Heo quay ) here special the rib with bone or port belly , one of the best in OC just for my opinion but everyone is different! Roast duck also very good!
