We've been going to Lien Hoa for all of my life. It is that classic place that is just good and stands the test of time. They have excellent Chinese style BBQ meats. Our favorite are the cha sui BBQ pork, crispy skin roast pork and roast duck. Their chicken, intestine, and chicken feet are also family favorites. Everything is good there. Their meats are fresh tasting, moist and flavorful. It's delicious to put on rice, in a baguette sandwich, on noodles or with salad. Casual. Good service. Please come and create your own adventure.

Chim cut & bbq pork

The service is quick grab and go. They do accept card here. The chim cut was good, a little dry on certain parts but the price here is solid and the seasoning is perfect to my own liking

This location is always busy and they accept cash only. I like their roasted duck, peking duck or salted chicken and crispy pork . Especially roasted duck was so delicious. Crispy boneless pork are always perfectly cooked. They marinate with delicious spices, very tasty . I have supported them for many years. The only thing is that parking is difficult, which makes me lazy to come sometimes, especially on holidays.

Trust me, these ducks... they're real... and they're fire

Service is fast and straight-to-the-point, the prices are still reasonable, and you know it's the real deal when the line never really stops. The operation feels like controlled chaos in the best way...

My dad wanted some peiking duck and roast pork, so we stopped by to get some to go. We ended up impulsively buying other stuff too (chili oil pig ears, pork feet, and marinated duck wings). They did a good job marinating and roasting the meats. Everything was flavorful and reasonably priced (compared to San Diego). The staff were quick and friendly. I would recommend this place and come here again.

This is the place to order roasted duck and pork to go. There's no table service, no place to eat. It's just food to go. You can even get a pig head roasted to go.

The food was ok. The service was not good. And I don't like the store only accept cash only. Are they're trying to cheat taxes

Does this place cook turkey?

Yes they do for Thanks giving. However, I wouldn't recommend the dry rub style they use. The regular duck is better. Turkey is too lean

The open at 9 a.m. so, you know they are cooking everything VERY early in the morning. FRESH DAILY. My favorite here is the 2-3 item combo meals. With my favorite item being the Turnip Cake with Egg. They also have various vegetables, green beans, Chinese broccoli, Bok Choi, etc. on a daily basis but rotate the type of greens, depending on the day. The 2 item combo "means" you get to choose TWO MEAT varieties. The combo includes white or fried rice or noodles and a scoop of one of the green vegetables. THE PORTION SIZES are substantial and you can walk out with a 2 item combo for $12 and a 3 item for only $1 more, $13. They have additional DELICIOUS "side" dishes which I'm not exactly how you can incorporate them into your combo meals, but you definitely can order them separate. Today, I got half and half Turnip cake and Chow Fun, asked for green beans and Crispy Pork Belly and he just charged me accordingly, $16.... which is two meals for me. They also have Chinese style sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf which is bigger than your average... for only $6. Delicious. There is one male employee who speaks near-perfect English, but most do not, so just point to what you'd like. Be adventurous! I don't think you'll be disappointed with anything here. Everything is seasoned well and always very tasty. Where can you get (more than one meal) for $12? ...other places would EASILY charge you $20 for this. ************* CASH ONLY **************

We went when prices were still like $18.99/each AYCE at night but now I heard it's $23/each, which is understandable but unfortunate for us students. Both times we went, the portions each order was solid and the meat quality was good, better than expected. We ate tons of meat and some of us ordered sides, the wait for the orders weren't too long and the grill was being changed frequently. The staff were nice and the service was relatively quick even when they were busy. One order seemed to be forgotten but another server checked in on us and they went back to make sure everything was proper, which was nice. When I went with my friend, the two of us were challenging each other and we ended up being the very last party to leave. Unfortunately, we ordered more than we could eat due to our competitiveness and it was already past 12 p.m. They decided not to charge us the leftover fee so I tipped more to compensate. Shoutout to the kind staff that watched me try to scarf down the food at the end and seeing a duo last longer than a party of 11 . I recommend going here late at night to try out their, now $23, AYCE from 10 p.m to 12 p.m and note that their last call is 11:30 p.m. Another thing is that you have to sign up on the waitlist via their tablet in-person, so come around 9:15 p.m if you're going with a large party and hit up the H-Mart across while waiting!

The tofu soup... VERY GREASY. Cold noodle... texture has changed on the noodles and the broth is just not something I love anymore. WHY IS MY CUCUMBER KIMCHI STALE AND NOT CRUNCHY??!?!?? Service was good. Two Sadly, with these prices and the quality lowering. I will much rather stick with baekjeong (if you have an AMEX gold $50/off) or TOP bbq grill (slightly better quality for a much better price, also has a buffet side/salad bar)

We were instantly sat and our server, Scott, gave an explanation for the three dinner tiers. We normally like to stick to our classics (brisket, pork belly, steak, galbi, etc), but wanted the additional meats the gold tier gave us. The quality of meat, especially this late in the night, was extremeeelyyyy impressive. Everything was vibrant and had really great marbling. As someone who has eaten at so many KBBQ restaurants, this is definitely setting a new precedent for future KBBQ places I try. I'm normally a kbbq consumer who prefers a sauce bar, but the few they provided sufficed more than enough. The open garnish/side bar was always full and fresh. Also wanted to shoutout service. Scott and Ryan were super friendly and made sure we had great dinner. Our empty plates were ALWAYS cleared out within the minute we set it down. You can tell they're observant & were constantly making sure that we were doing good. Will definitely be back again in the future!

I love the lil extra goodies they include like the pineapple, mushroom, and cheese... so yum.... While we waited for the grill to get going, we snacked on the banchan. The pickled dishes and spring greens were especially refreshing and did a great job balancing out all the rich flavors to come. The highlight was definitely the meat. Everything was grilled perfectly and came out incredibly juicy, tender, and flavorful. What I loved most was how many different ways there were to enjoy each bite. You can dip the pork into the garlic oil sauce, add a little wasabi, pair it with the melted grilled cheese, wrap it with myeong yi, sprinkle on some salt, or simply enjoy the quality of the meat on its own. Every combination brought out a different flavor profile, so the meal never got repetitive. The soups were comforting and packed with flavor, making them a great complement to the barbecue. Overall, this was a really satisfying KBBQ experience. The quality of the pork stood out, the variety of accompaniments made every bite interesting, and the meal felt thoughtfully put together from start to finish. The restaurant was lively!

I went here with my girlfriend at around 7:00 pm on a weekday and we needed to wait before we could get a seat. While there was a lot of seating, there seemed to not be enough staff to manage a new section of the store. Once we got seated, we browsed their ordering sheet. After giving the staff the sheet, it took about 10 minutes to get all of our skewers. Prior to the skewers, the sides are given out first. For skewers, we got the marinated beef, beef and pineapple, and pork belly. We also got an order of the cold noodle, which ended up pairing well with the skewers. The quality of the skewers is equivalent to the Monterey park location! I'll probably skip out on the beef and pineapple one for a future visit and lean towards the other flavors. The service was okay. They seemed to be understaffed at the time so we needed to find the staff to ask additional sides and the check; they didn't check up on us.
