Frosted cinnamon roll ONE FOR $9.35, SO DRY, not worth it DO NOT GET
    Tiffany T.

$9.35 for a single cinnamon roll and it was extremely dry! Safeway has better cinnamon rolls! The frosting was its only saving grace, PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE, taxing and for what?! Dry bread! Don't let the aroma of cinnamon fool you!

After grabbing a quick bite we were interested in something sweet. Someone suggested in our group to try this place. Cute little shop centrally located on Cannery Rd....however, it misses the spot for hitting that sweet craving! They have handful of different flavored cinnamon rolls, priced roughly estimated around $8-9.00. For the size and taste of the cinnamon rolls it's way too overpriced and the rolls were super dry. They do heat it up for you, but super dry cinnamon rolls. We also ordered one regular hot coffee to go with it. Utter disappointment as well...tasted like burnt coffee. Has potential to be a hit considering it's in a prime space, but misses the mark. Skip this place and find something else for dessert!

I can't believe they are selling individual 88 cent Walmart pies for over 9 dollars each. The labels they used are cut from the box they are sold in at Walmart. I'm pretty sure everything sold here is prepackaged, then repackaged with their branding. The cinnamon rolls were warmed in a microwave and dry too.

One strange thing about cannery row is no coffee spots open before 9. Well I wanted a cappuccino for wife and I before that while we were staying at The Clement. Anyways ordered 2 cappuccinos 1 with oat milk and none with the whole milk. They made mine with oat so I had to have them fix it. This is a long story so I'll shorten it. These cappuccino simply were not good. It was too much milk not enough espresso. Yeah, I should've ordered a cinnamon roll cause they look delicious. It's right off the street so easy to walk in and very open and welcoming. Staff was friendly.

Not worth the money. "Where's the frosting"

The rolls and frosting are sold separately. The frosting they give you is thinly spread on and doesn't even cover the entire roll. they place on such a thin layer that it melts into the roll nearly immediately so no yummy frosting melting in your mouth. The Roll was dry and was almost $8 and the tiny bit of frosting just under $4. definitely not worth the money,

Small rolls for the price. Dough is gummy and flavorless. The apple pie roll wasn't overly sweet as it appeared. Tourist trap.

4 pack of frosted cinnamon rolls

Cinnamon rolls were pricey and not very good. Unfrosted cinnamon roll was plain, dough dry and not sticky. Frosted cinnamon rolls were smothered with frosting which helped hide the fact that they were also dry and rather plain. Cost $35 for the 4 pack but I got the unfrosted one for free. There were several other types of cinnamon rolls with peach, walnut and other toppings, but didn't feel they were worth the $10 price.

Their cinnamon buns are vegan!! We asked for vegan frosting which is an additional cost. It was so special!! Soft, deliciously, and so yummy!

I love cinnamon rolls so I may be biased, but I feel like this spot is just a solid cinnamon roll place. Nothing to write home about, in a positive or negative light.

    Indoor bakery

I paid nearly $10 for a cinnamon roll, expecting something warm, gooey, and fresh. Instead, what I got was dry and clearly not fresh out of the oven. I noticed they microwaved it in the back before bringing it out, which was already disappointing. What really stung was watching them bring out a batch of fresh rolls right after I ordered. Bad timing, I guess--but for the price, you'd hope they'd serve the best they have. For a bakery that's built its name on cinnamon rolls, this just wasn't it. Not worth the price, and sadly not worth a return trip.

Lots of gluten free options. Haven't had a decent gluten free cinnamon bun before! Prices not cheap but not too crazy for the location

Should have read the reviews first. Cinnamon rolls were flavorless and dry - definitely at least day old. Can't recommend it.

We waited about 20 minutes to get inside, but once we reached the counter, the ordering process was quick and efficient. The shop itself is pretty small, but there's outdoor seating if you want to enjoy your ice cream nearby. They had so many unique flavors that it was hard to choose! I ended up getting the Kids Cookie Dough, and it did not disappoint. It was perfectly sweet and absolutely packed with cookie dough pieces, every bite had some. My husband ordered the Apple Pie flavor, and it was just as delicious. The balance of cinnamon and apple was spot on without either flavor overpowering the other. Now we understand why there's always a line. If we're back in the Monterey area, we'll definitely be stopping by again!

It's a unique flavor that just works, but I do think the honeycomb got overly sweet as I kept eating. My boyfriend also got the Milk & Cookies. The cookie bits were soft and chocolate-y and there were also soft melty bits of "milk" that were so tasty! I originally got a mini scoop of their daily flavor: apricot black tea. However, this tasted like under-ripe apricot with practically zero tea flavor. I get that it's like a natural organic ice cream but it was kind of sour. They're nice enough to swap your flavor if you don't like what you got, but they don't do samples. I was able to replace my apricot black tea to bee's knees! The line was so long on a Saturday around 9PM. Think we waited around 25 minutes. There is minimal seating inside and outside the shop, but you can always take your ice cream to-go and walk around downtown! Overall: 4.1/5

I ordered the Cheese Foam Watermelon Lychie Tea, which he said was the 2nd most popular drink and I can see why.... He takes his time making your drinks custom from real quality ingredients and doesn't just go and pour some flavored powder in a cup like I feel some other places do.... The atmosphere is very clean and roomy with lots of comfy seating and there's even a big cotton candy machine where you can order different styles of cotton candy with designs on them for only $5!!! Super open and airy, there's a separate room off to the side with some haphazardly laid out tables and seats. The main retail area is pretty busy with people lined up placing orders/waiting for an order, or people fixing up their coffee drinks. Now even though I took my goods to-go I had to go out to their patio to find a restroom. That outdoor area is totally cool, totally out in the open but you're like in a square inside a fort, surrounded by walls, so you can't see any street action. But you're totally open to roam in here from the street. Next time I'm in this area, I'm definitely gonna make time to chill on that patio. Cold Brew ($6.50/5*) Perfect to my taste, smooth and mellow on the roast. Pricey for a small cup but this is a touristy area. Banana Bread Slice ($5.25/4*) Very thick slice. Super soft yet moist in the center but firmer and more well done on the edges. Pretty dark in color, maybe some cocoa powder went in but there were also tiny hits of dark chocolate throughout. Mild natural banana flavor, wished it were stronger but that's me. Blue Corn Cookie ($5/5*) Never had a cookie like this before but I was pretty impressed. Kinda like a cornbread but made into the texture of a good cookie, so it was crisp and buttery on the bottom and moist and chewy in the center. All whilst having a pronounced corn meal flavor and texture. Major props for exposing me to something new that I enjoyed immensely. Went great with sips of black cold brew. Most other things in their pastry case seemed a tad fancier than most other regular coffee shops. I'm just glad I was able to run into and choose a more special cafe to end my beautiful trip out in the central coast.

The biggest letdown was the service. The staff seemed irritated to be open, and not one person smiled or appeared welcoming throughout our visit. It wasn't rude, but it definitely didn't make for a great first impression. They have a great selection of baked goods, so we tried the blueberry muffin, donut holes, and chocolate croissant. The blueberry muffin was just okay--the oats on top weren't really my favorite. The donut holes were soft, fluffy, and generously coated in sugar, making them a solid choice. The chocolate croissant was easily the star of the meal. It was incredibly soft, buttery, and filled with perfectly gooey melted chocolate. I also ordered a latte, which was fine but nothing particularly memorable. For breakfast, I had the smoked salmon toast. The salmon itself was delicious, but it was served on a very large slice of grain bread that didn't have much flavor, so the dish felt a little underwhelming overall. Looking back, I wish I had ordered the avocado toast instead. Overall, I can see why people stop by for the pastries--especially the chocolate croissant--but based on our experience, we left feeling a little disappointed considering all the buzz.
