This was a typical seaport restaurant, large, upscale, beautiful and expensive. Great for a night out in the Seaport. We went there right after a dance performance at ICA so very convenient. The staff and manager were very nice. I didn't realize it was a Greek restaurant tho I did notice some Greek dishes, haha. The food was good. Lump crab cake excellent. Wagyu beef burger excellent. Fries were average. Lobster mac n cheese a bit dissappointing , tasty and nice crust but a bit too salty and hard pressed to find lobster, only 2 decent pieces, also a few tiny shells . Terrible services. We had a reservation for 6 people at 8:30pm. Food is nothing to "wow". We felt like we're in Chinatown eating cheap Chinese food during rush lunch hour that the server brought out the bill and asked us the paid and get the out so they can close and go home. Note it happened before 10pm, and they're closing time is 11pm. Would not come back and would never recommend this place. read more

The restaurant space is beautiful and elegant. The service is kind, prompt, and polished. The food is fresh and good. My only issue is that the imported Greek fish concept doesn't really add enough of a quality premium to make the cost premium worth it. read more

Great restaurants start with great people and Limani Grille clearly shines in this department. Our server, Mario, is a seasoned professional and made a demonstrative difference in our dining experience. In discussing the meal amongst our group, we all concluded that he genuinely cared about our experience which is ultimately the ideal compliment for any server. Now, let's get on to the food. All I can say is - wow! We started off with grilled octopus, tuna sashimi, and se bass ceviche. They were all winners and I would make a point of ordering all again during my next visit. Then we moved on to a salad course comprised of their Prasini Salad. One of my pet peeves is that I am finding that salads are becoming too fussy in many restaurants. This was a crisp salad with fresh ingredients served in a knockout vinaigrette. Finally, the highlight was two large servings of Lavraki - a clean, moist Mediterranean sea bass served for the table. I went here March 14, 2024 to have the $1.00 oyster deal and their happy hour appetizer menu that was advertised on their web site. When we arrived the hostest sat us at a table but the happy hour/oyster deal was to be only served at the bar or in the lounge area. As soon as we sat at our table they made sure to tell us that "today" is the last day of the happy hour/$1.00 oyster deal, which I thought that was strange to mention but what ever! They allowed us to stay in the dining area because we already started our meal. I got a dozen oysters & my friend got the Wagu sliders; we ate those & when we were done with the 1st order the server came to our table & asked if we were done. We replied "yes" but we were not yet done with dining but with the plates infront of us yet they proceeded to take everything from our table, including the unused silverware. We then ordered the grilled shrimp & the grilled octopus & another order of Wagu burger sliders. The whole time we were there I felt like they wanted us to leave. Maybe it was just me! Kindly sent it back asking for medium rare, the next steak came out cut in half, inedibly raw. Cherry on top... Good concept. Beautiful ambiance. Promising menu. However, this place is run by very junior and inexperienced staff on all levels, from the hostess stand to the waitresses, to the kitchen. The food was not up to par for a restaurant that is part of a chain and should have perfected its offering before introducing itself to the highly competitive Seaport District. The Avgolemeno soup looked and tasted more like bland chicken soup and was sent back. It was replaced by a Halloumi and tomato salad which, while it tasted better, was sloppily presented with unevenly sliced and cooked pieces of halloumi. The Greek fries that accompanied our meal were limp, tepid, and tasted like regular pier fries. And the halibut main course was too simply prepared (just a wee bit of caper butter sauce, and 1 piece each of broccoli and cauliflower) to justify its price ($42). Our feedback was passed along to the restaurant manager who has recently brought in to help steer this ship in the right direction. I wish him luck. read more

The food taste and variety offered were excellent. The service was very good. However, I would not go to to this restaurant because they play extremely loud music. It is impossible to hear people at your table and hold a conversation. I asked that the music be turned down, but they did not do it. I emerged well fed, but with a headache and a horse voice. I also had ringing in my ears. I was not alone among the six people at my table. It is as if the entire restaurant staff is deaf. Playing the music as loud as they do makes guess uncomfortable and increases the deafness of the staff I imagine. read more

the dinner was a disaster: we ordered appetizers and main courses asking for the main courses to come after the appetizers (is this so strange?). they brought up one of the 2 appetizers and immediately after they brought the main courses. we asked to wait as per initial request. they brought the second appetizer and 2 seconds later they brought back the main courses. we asked again to wait (!). finally, in a rush, we finished the appetizers. they brought the main courses: the burger was under cooked (we had asked for well done). they took it to the kitchen and then brought out a burned smashed piece of meat with a slice of cheese: enough, we sent it back and left! considering the positioning as upscale restaurant, very disappointing! I love Greek food! I recently died at the Limani Grill location in Chestnut Hill. Although the food was not bad, it certainly did not meet expectations. Their menu is very similar to other Greek restaurants I've been to, but I thought the quality was below average at best. they serve a very average tasting bread with excellent olive oil. I had the three course $30 luncheon special and started with the octopus, which was an additional eight dollars. There was very little flavor to it and it is actually one of my favorite dishes. The next course was salmon souvlaki, and again, I felt it could've been much better. The walnut cake dessert was fantastic and the highlight of my meal. read more

Went for dinner last night with two friends and sat at a table outside. We had a wonderful waiter named Mario who could have not been more pleasant and attentive. Mario recommended certain cocktails to start which were delicious and took my friend's gluten and dairy allergy very seriously, checking to ensure none of the items she ordered contained either. We started with the limani chips and the hummus - both were spectacular. We ordered the Prasini salad and the sea bass entree to share, all were amazing. For dessert, we had a trio of sherbet (mango, strawberry and raspberry) which was the perfect ending to the meal.
