    Lamb Chops*
    Denae P.

I celebrated my birthday here and also came for the Greek Independence Day celebration and had 2 great meals. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the upscale vibe of the restaurant and the quality service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had the tomato salad, Limani chips, filet mignon and lamb chops. The ingredients are fresh and very tasty. My favorite was the lamb chops - perfectly cooked and seasoned. Will be back to try more times in the future!

This is a high-end greek spot next to the ICA (the space used to be a Wagamama) its a large, airy, very modern and attractive space with a lot of outside seating (in better weather). Service was attentive and friendly . They have a nice $30 lunch deal 7 days a week until 3pm, where you get to choose a starter, main and dessert. (See attached menu photos.) I got the greek salad which was on the smaller side but appropriate for an appetizer in a pre-fix meal with tomato, cucumbers, red onion, creamy feta and one brave little black olive (there could lhave been a couple more) Simple but fresh and flavorful. For my entree I has the Scottish (not Greek?) salmon with chef's choice of vegetables which today were one large piece each of carrot, brocolli and cauliflower with lemon and capers on the salmon, which was perfectly grilled. It was light, very fresh, and the veggies were perfectly crisp/tender. Quite impressive for such a simple dish. (Though I had to laugh at literally ONE piece of each vegetable -- thought the food was more than enough to satisfy me.) Because I'm eating keto, I had Greek yogurt with walnut and the thyme honey on the side (which i didn't have). It was still a nice end to the meal. There are other more carby choices, on the prixe fixe menu, some with a upcharge. The menu is rather pricey (the salmon alone on the regular menu is $39 alone, so I feel like I got a deal here. So this was a good way to sample it on the (relatively) cheap, and I was overall impressed with the space, vibe, service and food. (FYI - soda refills are NOT free)

I had a great time at Limani! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Loved the ambiance, the vibes, the music, the service, and our food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]After being seated in the cutest booth, we were served warm bread with fresh cut basil for our olive oil. A nice touch and a good start to our dinner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got a glass of rose so I can't comment on the drinks, but my friend got a mocktail and enjoyed it. We got the zucchini chips as an appetizer which we liked. For dinner, got the Chilean sea bass, absolutely loved it! Cooked perfectly and the additional favors of the other ingredients (corn, pancetta) brought everything together beautifully. My friend got the lamb chops - she thought they could've been a little more seasoned, but when she asked for more of the balsamic glaze (there wasn't much on the lamb), that brought the flavors together better. We came here for a fancy girls night over a good dinner and drinks and got exactly what we were looking for.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a very fancy restaurant![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We went for my mother in law's birthday dinner and some of us were definitely underdressed (oops). Everything we ordered was tasty, but for the price point, I didn't feel like there was anything that special about the food. The mussels appetizer was well portioned but the sauce was a little too salty. The fries were average potato wedges with feta cheese. My husband's dish, the Moussaka, was the only one that I felt was especially delicious and worth the price.

After opting out of our initial reservation at a nearby restaurant, we decided to dine here for lunch on my birthday after church. Aesthetically, it is beautiful. On this Sunday afternoon, it wasn't too busy inside. We were able to be seated immediately. Joseph was our server and he was really friendly and helpful with our questions about the menu. My family decided to order from the prefix lunch menu. I went with: Octopus - 9/10. This was so yummy! The octopus was tender and flavorful. The dish was pretty filling. Lobster linguine - 7.5/10. The lobster was juicy but the sauce was a little bland/basic. I took it home and spiced it up. Karidopita - 8/10. This walnut sponge cake was rich and not too sweet. My family enjoyed the salmon. They also liked the crab cakes but wish it a little bigger portion. My sister liked the lamb chops but found some parts to be too fatty. The fries were hot and crispy. Thanks for a lovely birthday lunch, Limani! I'll definitely be back!

This was my first time here and I was a little skeptical because I don't really like Greek food. However - everything I had was amazing. It was a work dinner and we ordered so many apps. I loved the cauliflower and the Brussel sprouts. My bone-in ribeye was amazing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was a nice and cozy place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And their sangrias was really good too. Overall this place gets a 10 out of 10. Service was great too!

I came here for lunch with my family for my sister's birthday on a Sunday. Luckily they took our last minute reservation as because we had to cancel our original reservations at a restaurant a couple blocks down. We must've come in between hours as the restaurant was not packed which works for me. The servers and hostess's were all kind and welcoming. The restaurant is aesthetically appealing. We ordered a bunch of food from the menu. I ordered the following: Crab cake: 7/10 Lobster linguine: 8.5/10 Raspberry and mango sorbet: 10/10 The price was reasonable for the lunch menu. My only complaint was that the service was eeexxxttrrreeeemmmlllyyyyy sloooooooowww between each course and we would often awkwardly wait a long time to be served the next dish.

Had another excellent meal at the Limani Grille today. First time trying the salmon and it was delicious. Cooked perfectly and served with fresh cauliflower and broccoli. This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Boston. And as always we had great service from the very attentive wait staff.

I would like to start off by saying, I did not get the best service right when I walked through that door, but I really enjoyed the food. So I gave it a 3 stars for the food and deducted the 2 stars for the service I got. Service: I was a walk in guest and asked if there was any tables, the host told me it was fully booked tonight (even though there was literally so many empty seats). I walk out and check online to make a rsvp. There were so many tables open from 5-8. So I made a rsvp and walked right back in. She proceeded to tell me "Im glad you guys cane back there was a cancellation on the rsvp". Ok... got seated orders taken, appetizers came out within 10 minutes. The entree took 20, not too long not too fast I guess was just surprised. When we got the food, they didn't even ask us if we needed anything else nor did they notice that we were missing a fork. Had to wait a long time just to get someone to get me a fork. Towards the end we were waiting for our waiter to get the check and takeout boxes, but he was no where to be found. When the manager walked by I asked if he could get us the boxes, he said he will find someone for me. He never even did because the waiter finally came back and I had to ask him again. Service was just slow. Food: I really enjoyed the octopus, it was full of flavor and easy to chew. The fish was very good as well. The steak was not bad, if only they had better steak knives. I could barely cut mine with their steak knife... Ambiance: as we were leaving it did get more packed. The bathroom was pretty neat and clean. I liked how big and roomy the restaurant was. The lighting wasn't too dark, and lots of window views from every corner.

Food superb. All dishes were the proper temperature and visually appealing. I hate when food tastes better than it looks. Look good AND taste good is what kitchens need to strive for. Limani Grille ‍ Ambiance excellent. Sat in a fishbowl booth I call them. You look out into the entire restaurant. And everybody looks at you too . We beat the rush barely. But no waiting on our meal. Everything was timed impeccably. One note our server never asked if I wanted a wine refill. That's my only issue. But it didn't take away from the overall experience. I would definitely go back again when in the area of course. I just couldn't muster up the excitement to give 5 but it's a very strong 4.4!

    Cheers

From start to finish, we had an amazing experience here. We ate here on Sunday. They open at 11:30am. We got in line around 11:00 am, and there were already dozens of people waiting in line for them to open . Around opening time, the owner came out and personally greeted everyone as they came into the restaurant. He was so friendly. He greeted passers-by on the street and talked with the locals. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions. They provided recommendations and offered suggestions. We sat at a window table and were able to see out at the boats. It was cute and quaint inside! I got a cup of the clam chowder. I 100% recommend it! They add dill and omit the pork, which made it so delicious! My friend and I split the fish and chips, and it was more than enough for two people. The fish was cooked perfectly and the fries (chips) were crispy without being too crunchy. We added a bit of pepper to our fish, and my goodness does that make a difference. If you visit Boston, want an awesome local establishment with delicious food and overly friendly staff, this is the place for you. This was my third visit to Boston and I'm so sad I didn't know about it sooner. It's a MUST.

My wife had whole lobster for $40. TONS of delicious food. Four days prior, Union Oyster House had whole lobster for about twice the cost. All of the food was delicious. Boston Sail Loft was a great send-off restaurant to end our Boston trip. Thanks again to our new friends from Boston for the recommendation. Our server gave me useful info on the local beers. The platter had a delicious mix of scallops, shrimp, clams and fish. The chowder has a lot of dill in it, but wow...it's the best chowder I had on my trip. My wife loved her large lobster...tons of meat.

Unless you wanna wait an hour or so, it's best to arrive 30min before they open to beat the rush. It's incredibly cramped and rushed inside, and you may need to share a table with others if you're a smaller party. Food is quite pricey but well worth it. We ordered the oysters (they've got a variety so you can choose), clam chowder, lobster roll, cioppino, and johnnycake. Oysters were fine, but the clam chowder was absolutely dismal. Not sure what happened, especially since it's so highly rated, but it was extremely watery and almost completely unseasoned. It could've definitely used salt at the very least. If I didn't know it was from Neptune, I'd have given it a 2/10. To my relief, the lobster roll was the total opposite. Succulent, juicy, heavenly. It was like being in Maine. The cioppino was also very good. The Johnnycake was an interesting but fun way to end the meal. It's a sweet pancake-like cornmeal covered in a syrupy glaze and topped with smoked bluefish paste, crème fraiche and caviar. I've never had anything like it. Nothing was super overpriced, but I personally prefer next door (Paulini's), which is much cheaper and while it isn't as good, it also doesn't require waiting in an hour in line. However, I think Neptune's is definitely worth a try as long as you're willing to wait in line.

I heard there was no line around 6pm that day. Other dishes ordered: Spanish octopus: it looked fabulous, but flavor profile was not my favorite. The sauce was very buttery/oily but lacked depth in flavor imo. It was greasy, mushy and bland at the same time. Octopus itself was pretty good. Lobster pasta: enjoyable overall but the lobster tasted rubbery/overcooked. It might be better if they just toss the lobsters in towards the end instead of cooking it so much. The lobster meat portion was very generous. Overall, I was not disappointed, but also I wasn't super impressed.

Getting a reservation wasn't difficult, just make sure you get it a few days in advance. Everything here was amazing. Patio, food, drinks, service- no notes. We got the calamari meatballs as our appetizer. I don't like meatballs but I made an exception here...the ricotta is SO light and tastes so fresh. It went so well with the meatballs. The sauce was pretty complex flavor wise and was a delight to have. The meatballs were also delicious and we loved how everything went so well together. After we finished our appetizer, we were brought bread which we used to sop up the rest of the sauce. It was delicious. For our entrees, we got the swordfish and the aglio olio with scallops. Wow. This was my first time trying swordfish, but it was delicious and however they cooked broccoli rabe made me actually like it! It was so good. The aglio olio...tastes even better than it looks. SO good and such a massive portion. I got to ball out on leftovers the next day. The scallops were perfectly seared and went so welll with the pasta. It was so fun have calamari and garlic bits in the pasta...the calamari in it was truly unique. Thinking about this dinner is making my mouth water and making me hungry. Our waiter was great and attentive to us, everyone was having a good time and it was a really nice vibe on the patio. I'll definitely be back!

Not worth the price…read more We came here for our anniversary as a splurge and were left feeling disappointed by the food quality. For over $100, you would expect the lobster fra diavolo to be fresh, but it was a huge let down. Severely overcooked and tough, but worst of all, not fresh! It stank of sulfur and tasted bitter which raises concerns about food safety. The other components of the dish were equally underwhelming--overcooked shrimp, tiny mussels and clams, and way-too-thin sauce. The calamari was the best part of the dish. The side of bread didn't taste fresh baked, and the Caesar salad was basic. I am giving stars based solely on location, service, and concept. The plating was beautiful and the vibe was romantic, but sadly the food fell majorly flat.

Given the small restaurant / just a few tables, the kitchen was highly efficient and brought the food out quick. It was fun to watch our dinner cooked as we were seated next to the kitchen. The aglio olio is something I could eat regularly. The ground calamari was unique and it was loaded with sautéed garlic. The best!
