Grilled steak area just to the left of the Mongolian grill area June 2026
    Ben A.

My family & I have been here 3 times in the past few weeks while we're living in the area temporarily. For the cost it's a very good buffet. There is plenty of seating, the place has appeared clean (other than some dust high up on the ceiling.) They surprisingly have a lot of Chinese food options to choose from. They have sushi section that they are replenishing regularly. The grilled steak (they are very thin, but seasoned) & Mongolian grill areas have been my favorite. The service is always friendly & fast. The only area that is kind of lacking is the dessert area which has some like sysco brand sheet cakes, baby Bundt cakes (not good) & some ok soft serve ice cream. Not a bad spot at all, we'll definitely be back

I stopped by with my family to Lin's Grand Buffet and this is our second time here. The food is amazing! We love it and will be coming back. The service is pretty average. Our server was not super attentive but still okay, we still would come back regardless. The prices are pretty decent as well, for myself, my husband, and our son with fountain drinks came out to $67. You get unlimited food and dessert. Any other place we go to we would spend around $80-$100 if not more and it's not unlimited, it is just for one entree each and maybe an appetizer. So definitely a good bang for your buck here and like I said the food is actually pretty darn good! They have so many selections! The ambiance is pretty nice as well, there is some areas where staff need to clean up and re fix but kinda hard at a buffet where everyone is grabbing everything and sometimes messes happen, it's nothing to crazy, to me it was actually pretty decent! I love the Mongolian Grill area, the food is so tasty! If you have not tried this place out, I highly recommend you do so! Their broccoli and beef is delicious, the fried rice and chow mein also very good! The bourbon chicken is also amazing! They have a grilled steak area as well, you have to ask the staff working the Mongolian grill area to get a steak and it's a sirloin steak, they will ask you how you would like it cooked. They also have green beans with onion and garlic and those are so tasty! They have egg drop soup and my man loves it! They also have stuff for the kids like pizza and french fries, sweet and sour chicken, wings! They have salad options as well. Which was also very good! They have tons of sushi options and they have shrimp and some other seafood selections as well. They have tons of fruit which all looked and tasted amazing! They have pudding and a great selection for dessert and an ice cream machine, you can get your ice cream in a cone or a cup. No complaints at all. Very well done Lin's Grand Buffet! This is one of the better Buffets we have been too. The food is good quality.

My first plate of food. Chow mien was a bit greasy, but everything else was solid!

My buddy and I were going to get some lunch, and he suggested a Chinese Buffet. I had to Yelp some spots, and this one came up and had pretty good reviews. We headed down here last Friday afternoon for lunch. How was it? Lunch Buffet- Pretty impressive! Better than I thought it was going to be. The place was incredibly clean and had workers constantly stirring dishes, cleaning up dirty plates etc. Efficient operation! The food was tasty! The chow mien was a bit greasy, and the desserts were not that good, but everything else was solid! Great orange and kung pao chicken. Decent egg rolls, fried shrimp. Tons and tons of options! If you can't find something you like here, you are in trouble! Would I come back? Yes! Definitely! It was super reasonably priced ($17.00 or so for lunch) and the food was good!

Went to lunch at Lin's Grand Buffet at Metro Parkway, a buffet chain with over 15 locations across Arizona, Texas, and California. It is known for its wide variety of food options, including a sushi bar, a Mongolian grill, and classic Chinese dishes. I really go to Chinese buffets for the seafood, and Lin's has a very nice selection and a great sushi station. I found everything to be super fresh and appealing. They also have a shrimp boil available, which I really enjoy, as well as many of the classic Chinese dishes most people look for. Lunch price is $14.99 with 10% off for seniors. Dinner is $17.99. Carryout is $8.29 per pound.

Lin's Grand Buffet is a nice clean buffet that serves hot foods. If you're looking for a buffet that serves hot food, I would come here for sure. If you want more seafood options then I would go to the competitor buffet - seafood harbor buffet across the street. My parents love going to Seafood harbor and since this one just opened we decided to give it a try. I did like how there is a self serve soft ice cream machine with cones here. This was the best thing in my opinion of dessert as most Asian buffets don't have the best desserts. It was lunch time when we went and it was busy. The servers were doing a great job taking care of customers.

I have been eyeing this buffet ever since it was under construction and recently heard from co-workers that it was finally open. We came on Sunday morning and the dining area was already packed. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of parking and seating but lacks natural lighting and is very dark in decor. After we were seated by our host, we were free to fill our plates and stomachs. There was an array of Chinese cuisine, fried foods, sushi, and desserts. I sampled most of each item and the stand-outs were the broccoli beef, salt and pepper shrimp, and BBQ ribs. This buffet has slightly less variety compared to other Asian buffets. It was mostly chicken options just served differently with another vegetable. The chicken was tough, the fried fish was bland, and the hot and sour soup was so peppery that it was extremely hard to ingest. When we finished eating, we witnessed a homeless man pacing around the buffet stations picking up fries with his bare hands and then opening and touching every single sweet potato. The staff were aware but did not address the situation. I decided to give this place a try because it was new, but I don't see myself coming back. If I had to choose, I would rather go to Harbor Seafood Buffet across the street.

We arrived for their Grand Opening. There was a long line as expected, Staff worked fast to get the line moving. We only waited 15 mins max. This was clean and the options are great. It is spacious and restrooms are well help. I won't lie, it's a hit or miss when it comes to buffets, but I would come here again.

My modest beginnings of spiced beans, cornbread and select salad parts was ultimately supplemented and completed by wings, mashed potators and greens from my left, and a hot dog with one bite gone and a giant helping of mac and cheese. The six year old ran off with my frozen yogurt cone. Such is life. Our service was excellent, a young woman successfuly dealing with her crowded section of The Corral. Some of the standout items for us were the mocktails and the pasta. The Pillows of Love pasta absolutely lived up to the hype and was one of the highlights of the meal. We also enjoyed the mac and cheese, mushrooms, steak, and seafood. Everything was beautifully prepared, high quality, and worthy of the restaurant's reputation. If I had one minor critique, it would be the king crab legs. They are char-grilled, which gives them a smoky flavor that wasn't quite our personal preference. That said, the quality of the crab itself was excellent, and it's more a matter of taste than a criticism of the preparation. The atmosphere made for a perfect birthday dinner--upscale, energetic, and memorable without feeling stuffy. Combined with outstanding food and attentive service, it made for a special evening that my wife and I won't forget. They had a wide variety of selections including a carving station, seafood, salad bar, pizza, Italian, Asian, tapas, American comfort food, and even a Pho station! I mostly had the broth and the beef as I didn't wanna fill up on the noodles. Orange chicken and beef and green beans were very good and so was the chow mein. Everything was very fresh. I was very impressed with their desserts! I wanted to try everything but of course my eyes are always so much bigger than my tummy haha. I tried the green brûlée, bread pudding, pecan pie, tres leche cake and ice cream and everything was pretty good. Service was outstanding! My diet coke was refilled constantly and used plates were cleaned off the table immediately. For only $18, it was such a great value and I will definitely come back for their prime rib night on a Saturday ($29). They also offer steak and seafood on Fridays for $39.

SENTRY - WATCHING RESTAURANTS…read more Lin's Grand Buffet 3955 E. Baseline Road Phoenix, 85042+ Companion and I wanted to try a new Chinese buffet, and Lin's came to mind. We had heard both positives and negatives about it so it was about time to make up my own mind. We arrived at 5:00 and were seated immediately. The buffet looked interesting with about 6 rows of items to peruse. Companion went first and when he returned I got a plate and began my tour. First item on my plate was the seafood boil. Crawdads, shrimp, mussels, corn on cob, potatoes and lots of cajun spice. If it had been hotter it would have been wonderful. Next I started down a row of hotel pans, picking those items that seemed interesting to me. Shrimp in various incarnations, beef and broccoli, pork egg roll, potsticker, sticky pork rib, velveted pepper steak with onions, and a couple of pieces of sushi. The shrimp was nicely cooked and the pepper steak was tender and properly cooked. The sushi was unremarkable and the egg roll was soggy and without merit. The potsticker was nice as was a piece of fried banana. Sanitation in the food areas was excellent with counters being wiped down as needed. I also noted one of the chefs in the Mongolian BBQ area wiping down the tiles on the wall, which was quite impressive. However, not all was great. Food was tepid at best and while I did not have a thermometer with me my estimate was that none of the food was over 100 degrees. The restrooms were a different story. The ladies room was properly clean and appointed with nothing but a few drops of water on the floor by the sink. However, companion went into the men's room and took a picture for me. It could not pass any type of inspection by any person. Normally I would have handed my companion my ultra violet light which I use when checking bathrooms, but why waste the batteries? The place was filthy and the toilets were terrible. No use to stand upon the seat, the crabs in here can jump six feet! Companion remarked that it was disgusting and he forgoed using the facility. Our bill for 2 was $36.11, which is about what other buffet charge, however, I've eaten at much better buffets for this amount. 3 stars
