    Lindy's Fries

We ate at Lindy's on Father's Day and it was a good choice. They are known for their burgers and they have a nice range to select from. My wife had the black bean burger. My son ordered the The Meat-A-Saurus (Chicken fritter, pit beef grilled cheese buns, Pepper Jack cheese, chopped bacon, burger patty, Cheddar cheese, pickles & Lindy's sauce). I ordered the Kush (Award Winning Burger) (Blue cheese, chopped bacon, green chilies & raspberry preserves). Everything was very good, but what really stood out to me was Lindy's Fries; dangerously delicious!

Visiting from out of town and we wanted a juicy burger. We found Lindy's & we're so happy we did! The food was amazing! I got the Maui Waui & the flavors meshed well together. Omg and the fries were crispy! The staff were so nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone who's looking for a thick, juicy burger!

I really wanted to enjoy my visit to Lindy's, but unfortunately the experience left me disappointed. Service was very slow--there only seemed to be one or two servers handling the entire restaurant. On top of that, the AC didn't appear to be working, so it was uncomfortably hot and humid inside. I ordered the OG Burger and specifically asked for it to be well done. The server told me they couldn't accommodate that request but reassured me that all their burgers are smash burgers and always cooked all the way through. Based on that, I went ahead with my order. When the burger arrived, it was much thicker than a smash burger (about an inch thick) and, to my surprise, there was blood on the paper beneath it. The first half of the burger was pink but edible; however, the other half was far too raw for me to eat, so I ended up removing the patty and eating the burger without the meat. Flavor-wise, the burger itself was good if you don't mind pink or undercooked meat, but I personally found it disappointing given that burgers are supposed to be Lindy's specialty. It's also surprising that a restaurant this popular doesn't ask customers how they'd like their burger cooked--it seems like such a simple adjustment to just leave it on the grill a little longer. Overall, between the slow service, lack of AC, and undercooked food, I'm not sure I'd return. While they do offer other items like Philly cheesesteaks and chicken sandwiches, my experience makes me hesitant to try them.

Heard this was some of best burgers 'round since '05. Nope... You'll see pics of Cow Tipper & Blue Baller here. Tater Tots were fantastic! Onion Rings, super disappointed. Just frozen, not fresh cut/battered & fried. Just charge $$ more for better, or real deal! D. Pepsi & one of the most watered down Vanilla Shakes ever. The Shake came off a machine behind the bar looking like the same bars use for *Mud Slides*. Never finished it. Check $51. Go back? Nope ... Way too many choices in Tucson. Service, mediocre at best.

Want a tasty burger... why would you go anywhere else? Conveniently located on 4th ave - with back and front patio seating as well as spacious indoor seating. The burgers are juicy, flavorful, and always hit the spot. The onion rings are some of my favorite- the onion never slides out on first bite- we love that! Staff are usually pretty attentive and quick even when they are slammed with tables!

Food was very good. One of the best burgers I have ever had. Thursday night was a bit quiet but the service was good and quick. Ambiance is a typical bar/pub nothing special - the food is where this place shines. Update: a little disappointing when we got the bill: lots of random 1-2 dollar up charges for things that were not specified on the menu. My wife asked for the watermelon seltzer and got an up charge for the flavor? Wtf? Foods good but I'd probably just get the burger to go next time

Lindy's is a laid-back and casual burger spot with great service and enjoyable comfort food. I had a great lunch on the patio and really enjoyed the Birria Burger. However, the best part of the meal was definitely the cheese curds so definitely add these to your order! The staff was super friendly and it was an overall great lunch!

I haven't been to Lindy's in years, but we decided to stop on a recent weekend to escape the heat and wait for some nearby stores to open. We all shared the cheese curds, which were delicious, and I very much enjoyed my Hawaii Five Oh chicken sandwich, although it was a bit of a mess to eat. Totally worth it, since it was delicious, and now I know to ask for extra napkins in the future. The chicken was tender and juicy and the Swiss-teriyaki-pineapple trio was the perfect combination of sweet and savory. The burgers and sandwiches don't come with fries and aren't what I would call inexpensive, but you're paying for quality and you're definitely getting your money's worth. Our server was friendly, the food came out fast and the restaurant was nice and cool. Lindy's is still a reliable Tucson classic.

Lindy's never fails to disappoint. Food is always fresh and fast. Patio seating in the beer garden is the way to go they have shaded canopy's which is nice when it gets warm. They were busy when we went in so we had to wait a little bit for our check

This place came out in the Dine, drive Inns and dive show list of places to visit and also on Man vs Food. Went during lunch time not many people at all. Burgers are very full filling. I highly recommend this place if you want to try different flavor style burgers. Waitress was a friendly spirited person and accommodating. She always had a smile and made me feel welcomed. Ambience was quite at the time and casual environment.

The loaded tater tots here were so good! The burgers were also delicious, and they had tons of good options to choose from.

A must try OG Tucson food! Lindys has been around for many years! It was nice to go revisit a place that brings back so much nostalgia. The service was wonderful and overall we hope to come more often! The amount of food you get is well worth checking out. The tachos were my absolute favorite!

I forgot which night it was now since we stayed in DT Tucson for Tour de Tucson from Thursday to Sunday. Oh, Actually I think it was a Saturday night because I remember wanting to go somewhere that had TVs that would show the Vegas F1 race. We got a table without reservation and they didn't have anything F1 on TV.. so we started just watching from our phone but then I noticed one of the main TVs above the bar started showing F1.. Now, I don't know if the servers of Elliott's were that observant and awesome or, they were already planning to show it once the race started... I choose to believe that our server was so awesome that she noticed we were watching F1 race on our tiny phone and put it on TV for us!! Honestly, just for that, 5 stars in my book. What also is a bonus is how good their food is. Sometimes you get nervous going to a local bar because food is not always good...though the people who run it and the place might be fun. However, you get all of the above at Elliott's. We ordered some mussels (cooked to perfection, not overcooked at all), pear salad, pineapple cider (delish), fish tacos, and steak. Everything was pleasantly yummy and the star was the mussels, which I did not expect to taste this fresh and delish, talking about setting low expectations and be pleasantly surprised! Overall, highly recommend. It did get darker and lots more busy and loud as we finished dinner and the Vegas F1 race finished. Def the place to bring people and friends to hang out and enjoy good food!

So many higher-end expensive restaurants serve bland, tasteless food, meanwhile this amazing mid-ranged restaurant is serving some of the best dishes I've ever had. The smashed chicken was probably the best chicken dish I have ever had at a restaurant. The skin was perfectly crispy while the meat was juicy and well-seasoned. The ginger and herb salsa verde was so fresh and aromatic. The cilantro rice complimented the lemongrass aioli perfectly. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and I'm usually one to reach for the salt shaker at most restaurants. Smoked olives are a concept I have never considered before. It's a concept that was executed perfectly here. So savory, flavorful, and complex. I'd love to have a few with a dirty martini. Speaking of drinks, my Casino gin cocktail was great. Perfect level of sweetness and tartness. I knew I had to order dessert after how good everything else was, even though I am usually not a dessert person. The oolong tea cake was nothing short of incredible. The tea flavor was subtle but paired well with the fluffy and light honey buttercream. Not too sweet at all. Of course, the service was great too. My wife pulled out her trusty phone, where she soon was directed to the highly-rated Raptor Canyon Cafe. So off we went. A warm and sincere greeting was the first of many pleasant things that we would experience in the next 45 minutes or so. The attitude and warmth of the staff here is exceptional. One really feels appreciated and welcomed while here. (*at least, my wife and I did) The place is decorated with a cute desert-Southwest vibe. A large building-sized mural of Father Kino mounted upon his rock-pony, is framed by the cute windows that look out on the quiet downtown streets. "Comfortable, with a slight splash of a mid-1970's Tucson cafe" is the energy I felt as we dined. One of my favorite things in the place is a steel-welded hawk figurine that is perched above the stately kitchen door. I imagined him tapping gently as he sat above the busy floor. And quoth the raptor, "The quesadilla is fy-orre". (Yes, I know, "floor", and "fire" don't really rhyme.) I never said I could spit fire (street lingo for being able to rhyme well.) My wife broke-character and ordered a breakfast sandwich. She normally goes for something more exotic, but as it turns out, this choice was a hit. Sometimes, simple things can offer great pleasures-and her egg and bacon filled biscuit offered proof of this statement. I listened to the imagined whisper of the watchful hawk, and decided to follow his raptorial wisdom/advice. Soon, the bacon quesadilla was placed before me (see photo). I added a splash of the locally produced hot sauce offered with a bit of ketchup and it all came together beautifully. The textures of the grilled tortilla; the barely not too hot melted cheese, and the crispy thick slices of bacon were as close to perfection that plate of breakfast could come. It really was good-eating in the neighborhood. We both ordered the fried potatoes with peppers and onions. If you go and don't get one of these, it will be a rookie move. Do not forget to order this side...esta muy bueno! It is actually a lot of food, and my better-half and I agreed that we could have split the dish. But, as we stood to say our good-byes and thank you's, neither of our plates had any evidence that fried potatoes had recently rested upon them. They actually looked like they had just been taken from the dishwasher--spot less. All-and-all, this place quickly worked its way into my heart. It's got wonderful chow (just In case I didn't emphasize how tasty is was--it was "really-really-really" good eats). The entire Raptor Canyon's staff shared pleasant demeanors, and the place has a comfortable and welcoming ambiance. Officially, I would categorize this establishment as a, "hidden gem" of Tucson. You have my permission to go there, but please keep it, "on the down-low "so that it doesn't get too popular. (*wink)
