The delivery menu is huge - almost daunting. Our order was a notch above average overall, but I think I'd try some different things next time. The Bistec was very, very tough and a bit dry. It seemed a bit skimpy for the price ($18). The Chaufa Mixto was definitely a bigger portion and had some more interesting flavors, but it was also a bit dry. We ended up adding some additional sauce we had lying around, which made the flavors a bit different. The plantains were solid, but those are pretty hard to mess up. I'm definitely intrigued, though, and will try ordering again. read more

Ok this is my second time coming here and this place is legit. The one star reviews seem like very entitled opinions. Sometimes living in America it's like we forget to check our unrealistic realities at the door. There's not really parking they do have mini lot around the corner in the back but it's not much. Keep that in mind when coming here. This food is authentic and good. Point blank period. This place is very mom and pop, it's not fine dining it's like a family environment. Don't get me wrong I can understand the frustrations people have when they place orders etc. however this goes back to my aforementioned...entitled. The food was good, really flavorful I had : Camaroneros Al Ajillo - overall the sauce was made well and was seasoned well, very light hint of spice nothing to worry about. Slices of garlic which I enjoyed. Good for the soul and immune system. But if it's not something you like don't order. It came with yuca in which paired really well with the plate. The rice goes with the dish and again I enjoyed it. The shrimp were cooked well, not over or under. It was a comfort meal that landed well. I didn't feel tired or greasy when I left. I didn't feel nasty after eating it. Again people compare we all do, but this place is good. I definitely recommend it. Again it's mom and pop, do not expect fine dining or perfect customer service. However the service is very kind and welcoming nothing wrong about it. The staff was pleasant and attentive, couldn't ask for more. You get what you put out. The rellenos de papa - stuffed potato balls with meat also had quarters of hard boiled eggs- very good. The rub was a duck dish - duck was a bit gamey and a bit dried out. First visit. Take-out order. I had the chaufa de pescado $15. Generous portion of fish & rice, fish tasted fresh but the dish was too salty. If it wasn't for the salt it would have been perfect. Peruvian food at its finest! Being here makes me feel like I'm at a family members home . The staff is so friendly and very attentive. Their menu is extensive with something for everyone. I was in the mood for soup and for $19 I had the biggest and most delicious bowl of chupe de camaraon. We also ordered camarón al ajillo which was really filling and tasty. I ordered takeout- whole rotisserie chicken with salad and yuca fries, tallarin verde pollo and a passion fruit juice. The server was very attentive, friendly and took my order immediately. There was about 30 minutes wait to get my order in which I did not mind since it was freshly cook. The establishment is very small and seatings are very tight. It was crowded when I went during lunch. The whole rotisserie chicken was very aromatic, tender and savory. They gave me enough aji verde sauce, it was creamy but not spicy or tangy. I wish it had some heat to let the chicken more irresistible. The yucca fries were a little soggy- it is common when you order take out. I was not an issue when you put it for a few minutes in the air frier. This is not the best tallarin verde that I ever had, but it was not bad neither. The grilled chicken was big and tender. The food was satisfying devious and services were friendly. Their portion were very generous and prices were reasonable. Many reviews talked about lomo saltado and I will try it next time. read more

One of the best Peruvian Restaurants I have ever had honestly. Small location, about eight tables and the three waitress do it all. You can order anything from the menu and you will enjoy. I order the ceviche de pescado y calamari and it was delicious. I will continue to visit and try all the other things on the menu. Deserves all five stars. I ordered a few times from here. I always got the Jalea Personal. I specifically asked what fish was served with this dish, because I do not eat tilapia, and I was told swai. I looked up swai and saw that it was a kind of catfish. Catfish isn't my favorite but it wasn't a deal breaker. The food was good. Fast forward to now, after reading an article entitled "14 Cheap Fish to Avoid" I mote that swai made the list and this made me think back to my previous Peruvian orders. What is particularly disturbing, and what prompted me to write this review, is "If you happen to find swai fish on a menu, or in your local supermarket, it's probably best to skip it -- even if it is being branded properly. Not only might you be feeding into morally shady practices by buying it and supporting the swai fish industry, but you may also be buying a form of fish that has limited quality control around its production. Swai fish is often reared in farms in Vietnam, and these farms can often be kept in conditions that are sub-par. Therefore, the swai fish raised there could be more likely to have harmful microbes, contamination from chemicals, or a higher antibiotic amount than you'd find in non-farmed fish. Where do I begin.. when I got there it was a bit of a wait . Place is small but seems cozy . Had a family of 5 and a single in front of me. When the couple was seated the 3rd waitress approached them and said I was waiting before them ( at least she came to my rescue ) but it wasn't the couple fault I blame that waitress so I waited for the next table . Finally the third waitress sat me and took care of me , think her name was GIANELLA ( that's what the receipt said ) she was awesome! She was attentive and service was great from her . I ordered LOMO SALTADO W/ FRIED RICE . For starters they gave me homemade chips with there signature sauce with a kick and roasted nuts . Finally my food came and wow it was #AMAZING. I sincerely thought FLOR DE MAYO had the best lomo but I was mistaken LÍNEAS DE NASKA hands down! The flavors was amazing and nothing was over or under cooked just perfect and the fried rice simple delicious! I asked for extra house hot sauce and it gave it that bang that just made my plate over the top delish. I appreciate my niece putting me on to the spot . I passed by this place the other day without even looking twice, tonight I was looking for something to eat after the gym and remembered this place, I got there and it was still open, the ambiance is nice with a bar and plenty of seating, the waitress was very nice and helpful, I wanted takeout so I looked at a menu and decided to get the bistec a lo pobre which is a dish with steak, fried eggs and French fries with a side of white rice, of course included in the bag was the green Peruvian hot sauce which makes everything taste better, but the food was so good that it would've been just fine without the sauce, the food was fresh and flavored just right, it's also a big serving so I ate enough and still had some to pack for lunch the next day, this place is definitely a diamond in the rough and I'm glad I found it. I will be back for sure 10/23/17 Since my first review I've gotten takeout from here a few times and it's always just as good but since my girlfriend and I recently came here to dine in I felt the need to update this review, the place was full when we arrived on Sunday night after 7pm but we only had to wait 10 minutes to get a table, we got chips and sauces for free, there is the famous Peruvian green sauce and 2 other sauces, all 3 were great, we got Peruvian beer and ordered, the food was fresh and came out quickly. We had dinner at Las Lineas this week, and we were really up for some good Peruvian/ Spanish food. Unfortunately, that's not what we got. We ordered two signature dishes, Lomo Saltado and Seafood Paella, one Peruvian dish, and one Spanish dish. The menu described the Lomo as prepared with filet mignon with peppers, onions, tomatoes and white potatoes. Sounds good, right? The actual dish was prepared with cheap, totally over cooked, tough strips of sirloin. The white potatoes were French fries that were literally soaked in salt. The dish was terrible, couldn't eat it. The paella rice was undercooked and hard, while the seafood was overcooked, dry and tough. Another terrible dish. I wouldn't recommend this place, and they certainly falsely represented the Lomo on their menu. read more

The worst service ever!!! Ordered delivery with UBER EATS....Ordered two Lomo Saltados... both rice portions were missing. The Chaufa Mixta con mariscos (seafood) only had ONE shrimp! When I called to complain the person said there was no manager. Then five minutes later another person came on the phone. The person stated that the delivery orders were not their problem and that this happens often with Uber Eats. Items go missing randomly. They did not claim responsibility for the order. Furthermore, they said that if I wanted the missing portions, I needed to come and get them myself. Ummm.... what's the point of getting food delivered if I still need to pick it up myself.
