Had my the heat go out on my dryer and had Linet Electronics come out to check it. It was nice that they came out on a Sunday, but for the price it was pretty expensive. Paid double the price after talking to the other company I was hoping to come out on Tuesday, I guess I should have waited instead of paying $320 for a heating coil replacement. I have an LG washing machine. LG dispatched this company to service my extended warranty. It started off bad and ended ( with this clown) horribly. He calls to say he's on the way. I didn't have any notifications from LG or this person named Alex. He says I'll send you a screenshot of the appointment. Well, that doesn't help me because it was sent to him and not me. I'm not home, but I say go anyway cause someone is. He tells my family member that the reason the washer is leaking is because we are not closing the drawer that the soap goes in. Well, that's not true. The water seems to be coming from the bottom. I call him to talk about him coming back because I'm not satisfied and the machine is still leaking. Keep in mind this is all in the same day. I get him on the phone and he is the absolute most rude person I have encountered in years. He tells me that if I call LG back, they may charge me a service fee. I don't care about a service fee, and I'm under an extended warranty. He interrupts me constantly and the conversation goes from bad to worse. He hangs up on me! If you deal with this clown, make sure your prepared to deal with a mood swing. My OLED TV lost power completely after 4 months of regular use (arrgghhhh) so I contacted LG and they assigned Linet Electronics for repair. As much as I am angry at LG for the poor quality product, I think they partially made up for it by working with top notch service people like Linet Electronics. I cannot be more thankful for the service received from Alex. He is the most respectful, sincere, professional, and overall "proper" guy you can think of. As soon as he received the service request from LG, he already knew what was wrong and what part to replace so he ordered them the same day, called me a few days later and said he received the parts, scheduled the service very next day. He gave me a 12-4pm window and said it would be closer to 12pm. He showed up at 1pm and was done in exactly 28 minutes with the repair! :) On a side note, with the covid-19 situation, I wasn't sure what to expect. Alex came with a mask and gloves; again so considerate of him. Our 9 year old LG clothes washer was not draining properly, starting about 2 weeks ago, so I followed the troubleshooting tips in the owner's manual and after no success contacted LG customer service. They recommended 2 repair companies and I contacted Linet because they had very good Yelp reviews and are based locally. I called mid-Saturday afternoon and was fortunate to speak to Alex, the ace LG repair man mentioned many times in the reviews. He knew right away it was a pump motor problem, said he had the part, gave me a fixed quote and said he could be out the next day between 10:30am-noon! Alex was good to his word, showed up a little after 10:30am and the repair was completed within an hour. He even cleaned up the detergent/bleach loading area at no additional charge. This was one of the most pleasant appliance repair experiences for my wife and I. We recently purchased 4 LG kitchen appliances and Alex mentioned what we could expect for repairs in the future. I am in awe of the great job Alex did on our Kitchenaid microwave. Others I contacted had no interest in fixing the problem; they just wanted to replace the unit (which would mean replacing the whole built-in MV + oven combo). Alex actually wanted to fix it. We thought the problem was a simple door switch, but it proved more complicated. Alex went away and did a ton of research, and came back with a solution. All he had to do was replace a certain wire and the MV was as good as new. Alex was nothing but patient, helpful, and transparent throughout the process.
