The food is so delicious and affordable! The bao buns were super soft and the meat tender. I highly recommend the duck soup, my husband and I loooved it. It's got wontons, noodles, duck, and more. Great bang for your buck. The food was super fast and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The place is open and you order at the counter, super chill and naturally lit. Great for a chill dinner.

Solid xiao long bao (Chinese soup dumplings). I came for a visit with a friend and shared 1 serving of spicy mala XLB and 2 servings of regular pork XLB, and they were all good. The restaurant is tucked in a small plaza with lots of parking available. At the time we visited, there were plenty of available seats, so any walk-ins would be easy to accommodate. There is also a clean restroom available for customers.

Delicious food that reminds me of my Taiwanese mother's cooking- especially the beef noodle soup- the baos have pickled veg and a drizzle of hoisin for sweetness. Ambiance is super casual and comfy and service is fast and friendly!

This was our first dumpling restaurant and we sampled way more than our stomachs could hold. The soup dumplings were quite interesting. We never knew soup could be in a dumpling. We loved the spicy dumplings and chicken dumplings. We will come again. Thank you!

What a solid experience and this only warrants another trip in the near future. I saw beef noodle soup which is usually my default but I saw a ton of dumplings so I gravitated towards a pork dumpling instead and the Beijing Duck Bao. Both dishes reminded me of the night markets in Hong Kong and Taiwan. The flavors certainly danced on my tastebuds and I heard angels warming up to sing. I keep telling myself I need to return. Service is far better than many Asian establishments and the small cafe/deli vibe with music is very much appreciated. Will be returning soon to see what the beef noodle soup offers. What a treat! I'll be back!

Great atmosphere and service. The staff is very kind, helpful, and patient. Unfortunately, the food is good but nothing more. The ramen is alright. It's a nice cozy and warm meal on a cold day, but it lacks in some flavor. As dumplings fans, my family came in here with high expectations, but the dumplings were very similar to the ramen in quality: once again, not bad at all, but nothing to write home about.

Casual counter service dumpling place. This is my favorite spot for traditional dumplings. Come here for the freshly steamed, delicious xiao long bao and dumplings! Love that the shiu mai have a whole shrimp on top. They also have other Chinese appetizers and dishes.

Was craving for some soup and XLB on our way to the airport to catch our flight and happened to bump into this mom and pop dumpling house. And I'm thankful we did coz this was as delicious as some of the best dumpling places we've been to. 1. Pork XLB - 7 pcs for about $11. Loved the simplicity of its flavor plus good amount of broth and fat from it. 2. Beef braised noodle - felt so homey delicious. The herbs esp five spice was not overpowering. It was so delicious esp on a 18 degree weather. And my goodness, there was lots of tender braised beef they put in so you will be fully filled and satisfied. 3. Spicy pork and shrimp dumplings - very good and loved the sesame flavor. Very yummy! 4. Pork belly bao - 2 HUGE pcs per order. It was also a knockout! Good belly portions and it was melt in your mouth. Loved the addition of pickled carrots, jicama and cilantro. Well balanced flavor! So glad to bump into this place and hopefully when I'm back here in Denver, I can come and visit again and try their other offerings.

This is a new dumpling spot in the Denver area that specializes in soup dumplings. It's located in a plaza with fitness equipment so you might miss the location. It is small but there's plenty of seating. It's clean and bright and feels very open. The staff is super friendly. There's a self serving water station. It's a small menu so less decisions. The soup dumplings and the duck bao bun were my favorites. The soup dumpling was very tasty and when you bite into it, soup does come out. The shrimp dumpling is their version of a hao gao from dimsum and it was surprisingly tasty. The dumpling skin was in tact. The chicken dumplings were just okay so I would personally pass on them.

Nice clean restaurant, right next to DQ. I believe this used to be a Chinese restaurant but no resemblances of the past. The owner greeted us and set us at the table with the menu. Since it was the first time, I didn't know what the process was. There was a big sign at the counter that says "order here" so I just walked up and she took the order. Menu wise, a lot of the dishes had pork in it which we couldn't have. Ended up ordering Spicy Chicken Wontons, which was too spicy to the point I was coughing uncontrollably for a few minutes. This dish reminded me of chicken meatball wrapped with wonton skin. Quite dry and maybe the reason why there were so many dishes with pork in it. The Crystal Shrimp was as expected but smaller than Har Gow from the Star Kitchen. I'm assuming all of the dumplings are made fresh in the back room behind the noren. Next visit, I will definitely try South Style Garden Delight and Chicken Wonton Soup, something less spicy.

Wanted a warming snack for dinner last night. So decided to try this gem on my hit list. This place is a true hole In the wall serving some deliciously good food! Everything here was 10/10 Service was quick and joyful. We got the wonton dish that came out first. It was phenomenal, the broth was full flavored with a spice to it that had me licking the bowl. Then the soup dumplings and chicken dumplings. Soup dumplings were some of the best I've had in town. Dynamic flavor that reminded me of the soup dumplings in LA. The chicken dumplings were spectacular as well. Probably the most protein in a dumpling I've had here as well. Composition of the dumplings were perfect along with the texture. Next time trying their noodles and other dishes. Must try!!

This place was awesome. I got the shrimp chive dumpling and then the chicken one. The shrimp chive was my favorite it had great flavors. The chicken was good but was mild in flavor. Can't wait to go back and try more

The dining room is still closed, they essentially keep the dining room as a storage closet lol. You walk in to pick up your order and they have tables blocking the entry, that's where you pay for your food. The portions are still as giant as ever, and the prices are still affordable. My wife and I had a hankering the other day for our old stomping grounds, so we jetted over there to pickup an order. It was ready in 10 minutes and two meals ran us $32. I think I pay $32 for a good cup of coffee these days!!!!!! I kid, I kid. The meal lasts you for days, you really get two giant sized portions out of it. It will probably last some of you three days. I appreciated this since there was no way anything was going to tip over & spill. Very friendly phone & counter service as well. Note, you get six free Cheese Wontons when your order is more than $40. We ordered three different entrees with three different sides - Steamed White Rice, Fried Rice & Lo Mein Noodles. The sides were good, however the fried rice didn't seem fried, it was white rice with soy sauce. The Sweet & Sour Shrimp Entree was tasty - the shrimp were medium sized, cooked perfectly with a delicious sauce. The Sesame Chicken Entree was even better, the chicken was moist & tender. The beef in the Mongolian Beef Entree was great however there were way too many onions in the dish. Overall, a very satisfying meal.

We ordered the fried tofu (with peppers and onions), orange chicken, fried fish fillet, and veggie delight (mixed veggies). The fried fish fillet was definitely the standout. Perfectly crispy on the outside with a light, tangy layer of sauce that added flavor without making it soggy. Easily my favorite dish of the meal. The fried tofu was also really solid and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The peppers and onions complemented it well without overpowering the tofu itself. The orange chicken was okay. I tend to compare orange chicken to Panda Express (probably unfair, but it's my benchmark), and this one didn't quite hit that same balance of crispiness and sauce. I think if it had a bit more meat within each piece, would be better. The mixed vegetables were decent but not something I'd order again. They felt a bit drenched in sauce and didn't have much depth in flavor. One of the highlights of the visit was meeting an elderly woman who helps out when it gets busy. She mentioned she was the former owner. She was incredibly kind, and we ended up having a really nice conversation in Mandarin. That personal touch made the experience even more memorable. Otherwise, really nice venue with lots of space and tables. Waiters always refilled my water, which is a good plus. Also gave me fresh rice when I took the leftovers to go. Overall, a solid meal with a couple standout dishes. I'd definitely come back for the fried fish fillet and tofu. Will be back to try their other dishes.

Service was quick to take the order, refill water and clear out empty plates/steamer baskest. The dishes coming out of the kitchen was at a more erratic pace, but it's all about the food. Mapo tofu was good, with a light slick of chili oil. The flavors were spot on with little chunks of fermented salted broad beans. The heat was also moderate, but it did have a kick as you were eating it. That signature mala numbing spiciness started building, but not hot enough for my palate. Green beans were also nice and tender. Sometimes when they come out the fryer, the skin can be a little leathery, but wasn't present here. BBQ Buns were very soft and tender, loaded with BBQ pork. The shao mai had a nice bouncy texture and cooked well. Shrimp Lo Mein had the flavors of the Chinese American classic, it looks like the noodles were hand made too. Only miss was the shrimp dumplings. They were too close to each other and they stuck together. The wrapper was also overcooked, but somehow the shrimp was not. Nearly impossible to pickup with chopsticks, because the wrapped just fell apart, even with a delicate touch. Worth a stop and probably tastiest Chinese food in the neighborhood. It was getting crowded and there was a wait by the time we left. However it was Denver restaurant week, so not sure how it usually is during the week.

Lately it feels like a lot of restaurants are charging more while giving less, and it's getting harder to find places that actually care about the customer experience. Unfortunately, this was another one of those experiences. We ordered three side dishes and three drinks, and the bill came out to around $100. Two of the three sides were served cold, the dumplings at least came out hot, but they were pretty mediocre and nothing I'd order again and drinks were extremely over priced. The waitress was fine, no real issues there, but it did feel like the food may have been sitting in the kitchen too long before it hit the table even though the place was empty. At the end of the day, it's hard to justify paying that kind of money for cold, underwhelming food, then feeling awkward about the tip because the experience just wasn't good. I won't be back. If I had known this is what the experience was I would have definitely gone somewhere else. As an added bonus I felt like crap afterwords, I think it was because of poor quality ingredients. My aim in writing these reviews is to highlight the restaurants and businesses that truly take care of their customers, to give people a heads up about the ones that clearly do not prioritize quality or the customer experience, and to express myself in a world where it often feels like there is very little room to speak honestly about paying top dollar for mediocre experiences. Very disappointing.
