We stumbled on this place the night of an event at the Music Hall and I'm so happy we did. The ambiance is so welcoming and the bartenders are incredibly friendly. Located on scenic Main St this is a good place to go if you like to keep it simple with a burger and a beer. Their MO is "build your own burger" and you can do it in a TON of different ways, I'm sure a math geek can list how many. I've visited twice and enjoyed my meal both times. I tend to eat on the healthier side and prefer a baked potato to french fries but like I said...you have to keep it simple at this place. Probably best and most flavorful black bean burger I've ever had. The chicken sandwiches aren't too great though. The first time I visited this restaurant, the food was great but the service was ATROCIOUS! In the 2 and 1/2 hours, we saw our server twice! As soon as I got the check, I quickly gave them my credit card. It took them THIRTY minutes to bring back the check. Since the food was great, I gave this place a second chance. I went yesterday and the service was just as bad. The server did not listen to our order. We were charged an extra $4 for "other food". On top of the $4, the server charged us an extra $3 for toppings on our nachos that we did not request. I was so fed up with this place that I did not even fight the extra charges. Moral of the story, no matter how good the food is, service is the most important. I will never visit this restaurant again. There are so many better places on Main Street. I was completely wrong once we sat down, this is the first restaurant where WE decide what goes on it and how we would like it cooked like OMG. We all got burgers, customized. My sautéed mushrooms ended up on my MIL burger. But the burgers were nicely cooked and deliciously messy. Their was a 6 pack container on the table that contained papers to circle how you wanted your burger made. It also contained some pencils and ketchup and salt but no pepper. Pros: - Great burgers: The burgers here were really good. My wife and in-laws all enjoyed the process of selecting their toppings and style and stated it was one of the better burgers they have tried recently. Cons: - Slow and inattentive service: We came here on a busy night (during the Halloween parade) so they may not have had enough staff to attend to everybody quickly. However it took us 40 minutes to get our food once ordered and every request seemed to have been forgotten or took a very long time. - Small glasses: They use small cups for sodas which requires many refill requests. This wouldn't be an issue if the service was quicker. Overall: Besides some minor items, the food makes up for it and is definitely a place worth checking out. read more

I came with my boyfriend at 7pm on a Friday night and the place was busy, but not too packed. It's a small space, so I wouldn't recommend it for groups larger than 5-6, but it's good if you only have a few people with you. They had an okay beer selection, and the service was decent. I got the Al Pastor burger with truffle fries (definitely get the truffle fries) and my boyfriend got bacon sliders and wings, which he enjoyed. Come for the burger, stay for the Covid. What a sloppy operation this is. The burger is good but you can get a good burger in most decent bars. What you get here is disposable everything -- paper straws for your paper cup (water) or plastic cup (drink), plastic set-ups (fork, knife, spoon in a plastic bag), paper serving plates for burgers and salads. My margarita seemed to have skipped the lime and my husband's quesadilla was burnt. Me and my boyfriend came here for a spontaneous dinner while we were visiting Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow. We were seated right away, waited around 10 minutes for the waitress to come over and take our drink orders. When we were ready, we ordered two of our custom burgers and an order of the buffalo chicken spring rolls (which was what I was really excited to try). I asked our waitress what was inside them, and was told just chicken and mild buffalo sauce--great! I'm picky and I hate bleu cheese which comes with the wings and whatnot. It took about 30 minutes for the burgers to come out, which were delicious--no complaints on those, BUT we still hadn't gotten out appetizer. We finished our burgers and still waited about 10-12 minutes for it. Once they came out, we received two spring rolls cut in half, Jam packed with bleu cheese, jalapeño, strips of chicken and the least amount of buffalo sauce in them. I was deeply upset with this. When the waitress returned, I told her we didn't like them. She just took them away, said nothing, no "sorry about that" or "oh, what was wrong?" And didn't offer anything else. Went here on a visit from out of state because we had a Restaurants.com gift card, which they accepted. The buffalo wings were AMAZING! The fries were good and the onion rings were even better! Staff was incredibly friendly! FYI: When they hand you your bill, they also leave a book of little facts for you to look through and put the tip in....I didn't know and gave it back without cash and left the tip on the table....looked like a goober walking the tip up the server, but, she deserved a good tip! read more

Just happened to find this place a few years ago during my first visit to Tarrytown because nothing else seemed very appetizing. As soon as I saw the placed, I feel in love! I got the mac and cheese, which is now the only thing I will get there on my yearly trips up there, but it's very cool also that you can build your own burger - they have it broken down on a slip of paper where you can choose everything down to the bun you want! So happy that I found this place and talk about it constantly when I'm not in town. Can't wait to visit again next year! read more

I'm looking forward to this place getting into their groove, because i think they have something really good going for them, and the food has potential. The sad thing is the worst part of the meal was the burger itself, but i truly believe they'll get there. The other area that needs improvement is the service/food running. We got our appetizer of wings after the burgers, and after asking for napkins, didn't receive any for about 15 minutes. But enough with my bitching. The wings were quite good, though not quite hot. The beer list is phenomenal--I hope they have rotating taps, because I trust their decisions on beers and hope that they switch them up occasionally so i can try the next round they've chosen. The build your own burger theme is really clever, and i could see coming here a million times just to try different combinations of toppings. For my visit, i had the beef patty on a kaiser roll with caramalized onions, lettuce, tomato, bbq and cheese (i'm going to have to agree with a previous poster that lettuce is a bit of a stretch for a topping and you'd hope not to have to waste one of your three included toppings on it, but what can you do). The toppings were fine, the patty wasn't amazing though. And next time, I'll definitely be going with the regular burger bun, because the kaiser roll was no compliment to the meal. But, for $10, you get a nice size burger with three toppings and fries. The fries were AWESOME. I did ask for sweet potato fries--they were out of them--but the regular fries are great. I hope next time they have the sweet potato fries and that the sweet potato fries follow suit. All in all, it is A-OK, and I really do think once it's no longer a "new restaurant" and they can get into their groove that my next review will be reflecting that with a star increase. read more

Ok, we gave Little B's several attempts, and our final consensus was to boycott. This place is completely hit or miss. Once we ordered the wings, and they were almost too salty to eat. Another time, my husband ordered a turkey burger, and it wasn't cooked at all. We're not even sure if it hit the grill. On the contrary I've had veggie burgers, and they've always been good. Good beer on tap, when they're not having keg issues. I rarely use the word hate but it is the only word to describe one of the worst meals of my life. What a complete and utter waste of money! My order was missing parts, the veggie burgers were falling apart and you could construct a home with materials as hard the bread/buns were. Our server (and many others) only returned to hurry us out and they attempted to take my sons food away twice, what's up with that? As a resident of Tarrytown we enjoy frequenting our local eateries and we are burger lovers so we had high hopes of making this our new spot, total let down. Avoid this place like the plague! Like others have said, the burgers were the worst part of our meal. The buns were untoasted and therefore soggy from the start. The veggie burger was a barely formed pile of green mush (we joked that it looked like it should be coming out of, not going into, our bodies). The buttermilk fried chicken, which somehow managed to look like fish sticks, didn't fare much better. On the plus side, the fries were quite tasty, especially dipped in the truffle mayo, and those in our party who ordered sliders instead of full-sized burgers were very pleased. Also, there's a great beer selection, & the house Pinot Grigio is well priced at $5 a glass. The service was okay. Little B's has buried itself into my memory forever! Not for the burgers (it is fun to build your own meal), or the outdoor seating (located directly across the street from a very active fire department), and not for the beautiful decor....but because of the horrible service!!! We were overly accepting of the server forgetting about us (they were busy, it happens) and the kitchen messing up our order (as a vegetarian, I rarely forget to request a veggie burger). However, we drew the line of "enjoyable" when we had to ask for water (which arrived in Dixie cups?), had to laugh with other customers when we realized how poor the service was as a whole, and had to go to the bar to ask for the missed condiments that were not included on our "build your own menu"....there were too many mess-ups to overlook! This is just such a fun, casual place to sit back and build your burger! There is a great selection of meats (and two - yes two!! - vegetarian options), cheeses, toppings and condiments. A variety of fries and all sorts of dipping sauces rounds out the undertaking. You can also go the "build your salad" route. The setting is casual - typical pub environment with lots of hearty conversation and people enjoying themselves. I also caught part of a Yankees-Astro game out of the corner of my eye. The beer selection was decent. And I thought the staff were great; they were friendly and helpful. The bustling, upbeat atmosphere is great for a Friday or Saturday night. Enjoy! read more
