I came here for the first time based on a friend's recommendation. This place is small but looks charming with a covered outdoor seating area. It also has a small indoor seating area. You have to place your order at the counter. The menu is on a big overhead display (which is hard to read). You can also pick up a regular menu at the counter. After you place your order, you help yourself to beverages and a table. They give you a number to place on your table and your order will be brought to you. Both my friend and I ordered the "signature" roast beef sandwich with ciabatta bread. The only difference is that I ordered half a sandwich with a side of arugula salad. My friend ordered the full sandwich. My friend's sandwich came out first even though I had places my order before her. I also noticed that other people that had placed their order after me had also gotten their food. I waited a long time for my food. When my sandwich and salad finally arrived, I noticed immediately how different my sandwich looks compared to my friend's sandwich. We had ordered the same sandwich! My friend's sandwich looked pretty liked a professionally made sandwich whereas my sandwich looked liked something someone would have thrown together at home in a hurry. My sandwich has less meat and less mushrooms. My arugula salad was also disappointing. There were a lot of wilted arugulas clumped together in my salad. I had to return it to have it remade. My roast beef sandwich and salad tasted just okay; nothing special. I could have made a better looking sandwich. I would suggest NOT ordering a half sandwich. The parking lot for this place is rather small. It cannot even accommodate lunch time crowd on a Monday. I can image how difficult it would be to find parking here on a weekend. Overall I was not impressed with this place.

Cute hidden French cafe gem in SGV. Cute ambiance with indoor and outdoor covered patio seating. Transports you back to Provence, France. I ordered a raspberry croissant, matcha latte and turkey sausage burritos. I'll definitely come back and try their French onion soup.

I finally tried this place for brunch after passing by it for so many times. I ordered build-your-own omelette with mozzarella, spinach, and mushrooms. It came with a cup of salad on the side which was refreshing with the tangy vinaigrette dressing. I liked the sautéed mushrooms and spinach with their good seasoning. I also ordered their mixed berries sweet crepe. I didn't like this one at all because the crepe was not soft and it was like a thick layer as a bread dough. The smell of this crepe was not pleasant either. It was not good. Not recommend their crepe. On the other hand, the French toast was good with boriche bread. It tasted good with a balance of sweet and buttery. Added eggs and bacons for combo. Great portion for around $20. Berries, fruits, and salads tasted fresh here. Pistachio croissant was okay with flaky and crispy layers. It also had a pistachio cream filling inside. Not too sweet and it was good. But I think it would be better if it was warmed. I think the portion sizes were good for a brunch. Nice chairs and tables inside to try to create the feel of a cafe in Paris.

Little Provence Cafe has a neat vibe that makes you feel like you've escaped the typical Arcadia strip-mall scene. My sandwich was only alright--nothing bad, just not very memorable. That said, I would go back and try something else on the menu.

I passed by this place many times and finally had a chance to stop by. I got a chicken club de provence with ham. The order took nearly 20 minutes to arrive. The sandwich was delicious. The meat looked dry at first but was actually quite juicy. The ham was not the regular ham and had a more smoky savory taste. The generous slices of tomato and lettuce helped give a nice texture break. The bun also didn't become soggy or break when the juices were leaking out of the meats. Overall, great food and great service. The only issue was the order taking 20 minutes to arrive. At least I know the sandwich was freshly made to order. I will be back.

Can a place be gregarious? If so, then this place would definitely qualify. The menu is gregarious. The setup is cozy. The food is delicious. And even though I recently just came across this café, it feels like I've known it all along. This is the type of familiarity that I mean when I say that it is gregarious. I read on Instagram recently that life is a series of phases that create the tapestry of your personality. I am so glad to have come across Little Provence Café because now I can include it in the series of phases of my life too.

5/5 for the atmosphere, 3.5/5 for the food. I've driven by this place several times, but finally stopped by this past weekend. The adorable patio section was such a pleasant surprise, with a water fountain, adorable French decor and music, and well shaded area. Inside the café, there are a couple of seats as well. The menu is written on a large board, but they have print out menus at the order encounter as well. You order the food first and find a seat after. Unfortunately, the espresso machine was broken when I went, so I opted for a cup of hot coffee and a Monte Cristo crêpe. The coffee was just OK, but I enjoyed the crêpe, it was savory from the ham and cheese and sweet from the berry sauce. The whip, whipped cream had a salted butteriness to it, which is surprisingly delicious. The vibe of the patio was very picturesque, and I really enjoyed my little brunch despite not being able to try their drink menu. But I'm glad I finally stopped by and hopefully will return when the espresso machine is working.

We've driven by this café countless times and finally decided to give it a try this past weekend. The large covered patio is perfect for outdoor dining and it's pet-friendly. I ordered the ham quiche, a pistachio croissant, and an Americano. The quiche was delicious, it was rich and custardy, almost like a savory dessert. The quiche also came with perfectly crispy roasted potatoes. The Americano was served in a small mug, just the right portion. My husband ordered the salmon baguette sandwich and the Croque Fumé, an open-faced pastrami and cheese sandwich. The salmon baguette was light and flavorful, and although we couldn't finish the Croque Fumé, it reheated nicely in the air fryer two days later. We're already planning to come back to try their crepes and take advantage of their weekday happy hour. Friendly service, easy ordering at the counter, and a relaxed atmosphere. Note that everything is made to order so it may take a little longer when it's busy.

Sad Veggie sandwich with the smallest piece of eggplant!

Cute cafe with lots of variety on the menu. We tried the crepes, breakfast burrito, French onion soup and veggie sandwich- eggplant was sooo tiny- the sandwich was a disappointment.

Cute French shop in Arcadia with its own dedicated parking behind the building. The cafe has a nice interior with indoor and outdoor covered seating (order at front, and take a number for your table) They have a selection of coffee and tea, breakfast sandwiches and crepes and eggs/omelettes, and savory crepes, quiche, sandwiches as such for lunch/dinner. Overall a nice find for a sample of France in Arcadia

Super cute spot, brought Grandma here for a treat. She was delighted with the decaf latte (cute foam art) and we shared a berry crepe and brownie. The server was incredibly kind, brought out an extra sharing plate and indulged in our questions. This is just five minutes up the road for Grandma so I think we have discovered a new spot for lunch/treats/decaf lattes.

I was introduced to Little Provence Cafe when I visited their booth at Taste of Arcadia last month. It's a cute cafe on the corner or Baldwin and Naomi. There's parking in the rear and on the street. The cafe operates on a fast-casual concept where you order at the counter and it's then brought to your table. They have some indoor seating, with a larger outdoor patio. They offer an all-day menu with breakfast, lunch and dinner items available, most are French-inspired. Note the menu on the website is not as complete as the one on-site. For example, they offer many crepe dishes not on the website. I ordered 2 sandwiches to go, the Croque Monsieur and the Jambon Buerre. Both are usually served on baguettes, but alas, these are not delivered on Wednesdays, so mine were made on French rolls. The Croques I've had before were served on regular bread, so it was fine, perhaps could have used more bechamel sauce. I did taste the hint of nutmeg. The Jambon however, suffered from the lack of crunch and chew the baguette would have offered. I also got a ham and cheese croissant, which was deliciously flaky and savory. There are many other items on the menu I'd like to try, especially their breakfast items and crepes. They have wine for sale too, and serve wine, beer and coffee drinks.

Open today, Memorial day? No one picks up the phone. Thanks!

Is patio seating area covered and safe for rain? planning on going this weekend but looks like forecast says it's going to rain

Yes the patio is fully covered. It even has side panels.

What time & days is the Happy Hour?

Hello! We’re having a happy hour special right now (for a limited time) every day including weekends, from 3-5. HALF OFF EVERYTHING! Coffee, sandwiches, beer, wine, breakfast items, dinner entrees, all half off from 3-5, dine in only.

Do you have any gluten free options?

My son has a wheat allergy so I’m always watching out for GF options. Little Provence doesn’t offer GF bread so your options are only the salads and some desserts … and the coffees! ;) Enjoy!

What time does it open? Yelp said 6:30 and a blonde employee told me 7 when I came in this morning at 6:45. I'm so excited to try it!

Their hours are very unreliable. Even if you call no one picks up.

Is this place open now?

Hi Jason! Unfortunately we are not open yet... We are waiting on our electrical panels to deliver, and once it does we are about a month away from opening. Our most updated delivery deadline will line us up for an opening in early January. If that…

Service is excellent. They have plenty of employees on staff to help with everything you need. We came on a Saturday morning, which is a busy time, but was able to get seated and served quickly. In the way of ambience, they have a lot of license plates, freeway type signs and other signage throughout the facility. It is very neat and clean and the decor is actually very nice.! If you are in Monrovia, I recommend you stop into this place for breakfast, you won't be disappointed!

Even though the place was buzzing with energy and clearly a local favorite, the team handled the weekend crowd seamlessly. The staff was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and fast, making the entire experience feel smooth from start to finish. Since there were five of us, we ordered a variety of dishes to share family-style, which turned out to be the best decision. The absolute star of the table was the pancakes--they are truly outstanding! They nailed both the texture and the flavor: golden on the outside, insanely fluffy on the inside, and rich without feeling overly heavy. The waffles were equally delicious, holding a fantastic crisp on the edges while remaining light in the center. To top it all off, the drink selection was top-tier. Whether you get their specialty coffees or refreshing iced beverages, or even hot tea. Every drink was crafted with care and tasted wonderful alongside the sweet and savory brunch items. It's located inside a busy shopping plaza so parking can be difficult, especially on the weekends. It's open daily 7am-7pm Service was average since this is one of those " pay at the counter for the food and take a seat" kind of place. However, it would have been nice if the cashier told us to grab our soy milk from the fridge or at least handed it to us after we ordered it. We were waiting 15+ minutes for the items only to go up to the counter and realize that we were supposed to get it ourselves but we're never told to do so. It's quite small inside but there is a decent amount of seating Pricing is resonable and nearly everything is under $15! The Curry Pastry ($2.60) was pretty good. It would've been better if it was more crispy but the filling was very delicious and had plenty of curry and beef! The Sweet Soybean Pudding ($4.50 - large) was delicious! Be sure to let them know to put the syrup on the side otherwise they combine it for you! The tofu was very soft, silky, and fresh. I was very relieved that the syrup wasn't too sweet since they combined it inside. The Soymilk ($4.25 - large) was very sweet and didn't have much of a soybean taste. It would have been better if it wasn't so sweet so I could taste more of the soybean. NOTE: they offer salty soymilk and soybean pudding but it's +$0.25 more than the sweet Soymilk and soybean pudding! The Peanut Milk ($4.25) was pretty good. It was very creamy and nutty! If you like peanut butter, then this is a must! It wasn't too sweet and it was very refreshing. Overall, I liked the soybean pudding more than the Soymilk and the prices were reasonable so I most likely will recommend and return!
