Fast and friendly service. The pad-see-ewe and eggplant in green curry were our favorites. The sweet rice with mango was delicious. Mangos were fresh and there was a good amount of milk? on top. We also tried the mixed seafood with garlic and black beans, which I didn't try because I'm vegetarian. My family especially enjoyed the squid because it was tender. They also said "the presence of mussels in the dish was a present surprise." Green beans and red curry was okay but not our favorite. The beans were a bit tough. Very mellow and quiet environment. I have only praise for these folks; reasonable price and excellent food. They're quick to the table and get your food out *extremely* quickly. (It wasn't microwaved, it was prepped fresh!) I am not sure what all the rave is about, but maybe I got the wrong thing. First off, when I walked in, it had a strong odor of feet (not very appetizing, sorry!) And secondly, it was very hot. I ordered a tofu pad see ew. When the order came it was a phad thai. I waived for the server and told him I ordered a Pad See Ew and not a Phad Thai. He looked at me and said you ordered a Phad Thai and had no intentions of helping me change it to the correct item ordered, because I was on a time crunch I didn't argue. He just says it as a matter of fact and that I am wrong. So that's major points off in my book. Back to the food, the Phad Thai came out with 5 minutes of ordering and Little Thai used a thin type of vermicelli, which I don't see often. (I do personally prefer the thicker version) The taste was like any other average phad thai, nothing special. They used way too much peanuts at the bottom so you taste that quite a bit towards the end. I also noticed that they burnt the eggs. Thus overall, the food was only okay. Consistently Great service and great food! There is also a large variety of items for people with all diff taste buds in addition to vegan and vegetarian options. Prices$ are reasonable and space is always available to sit. In general, i reccommend this place for good curry and soup which is what i have tried so far. Reliably perfect, fresh and vivid flavors in a pleasant underground hideout off the Ave. They are always friendly, warm, and out of the rain. Tho it does get busy at peak times the food comes out fast, and the lunch deal is great. Plenty of good tables and booths.. and a very well tended and large salt aquarium. I've tried a lot of the dishes over time, but the Tofu Panang Curry is the best way to eat vegetables ever invented. I am a Thai food lover. We went Little Thai Restaurant after cherry blossom festival in university district. We ordered pineapple fried rice, Panang curry and spring rolls. Spring roll was good. Panang curry wasn't good so as pineapple fried rice They charged extra to add cashew in fried rice which is acceptable but taste wasn't good at all. Place was good and clean. We went on Saturday it wasn't crowded but you will find difficulties finding parking. Price is very reasonable and cheap. read more

Went here on a whim while being in u district. I remember everyone loved going to little Thai back when I was at uw. The food was okay, a little bland even though I ordered spicy noodles. My friend's food was completely tasteless. Service was good so we chalked it upto a one time miss. Prices are very reasonably priced. Will try it again to see if it gets better read more

Ordered thru Caviar today and was very pleased with the food! I ordered the crab noodle and the pad kra pao with pork. My two dish come out to be about 30 bucks with delivery/service fee so price is very reasonable. Crab noodle had wonderful flavor, and good amount of crab meat, not fake crab but actual pieces of crab meat! The rice dish was even better - plenty of flavor from the sauce the pork was drenched in, and generous amount of sweet thai basil. Definitely will order from this place again! read more

Best Thai in the udistrict! Little Thai puts Thai Tom to shame. They have a wonderful selection ranging from curries to noodles and fried rices. My go to is the chicken pad see ew with two stars! WOW! My second visit to Little Thai was amazing. It could've been the dining companion I had this time, Dea ;) She always seems to know what to order and the food here didn't disappoint. We decided to carb the hell out and got the crab noodles, tom yum soup and tom yum noodle soup with prawns to split. The crab noodles were very good: more subtle flavors but still really flavorful. Interestingly, the tom yum soup and the tom yum noodle soup had different flavors to their broth (even though they're technically supposed to be very similar), but they're equally good. I think it was not a mistake at all ordering both soups! The portion is pretty generous and the prices are more than reasonable. They take their spice levels seriously, so don't order the 3-star spice level if you can't handle the heat. We waddled away feeling super satisfied, that was one of the best meals I've had recently.
