Long story short: Make sure the window sticker matches your paperwork. They do not mind over charging you. If you try to get them to correct the price they will refuse to sell you the vehicle. I was looking at a vehicle that had a deposit already on it. They were going to sell it to me if I bought it before the other person got there, so deposits are useless and they are dishonest here. The person who put this deposit down drove from Fresno. AK the general manager is a terrible person to have to deal with. We were happy and excited until coming in contact with him. He is not a good person. Full Story: I went into your Livermore Ford location on Sunday 5/31 after calling and setting up an appointment to see a 2017 Chevy Silverado that you had in stock. I was pre approved with Capital One and had my detailed offer in place at the asking price. I drove from Sacramento. Upon arrival I was told that there was someone that put a deposit on the vehicle, but if I was able to close first I would drive it off the lot. Everything was going well with my salesman, but when I got the breakdown for pricing it did not match the Capital One financing breakdown. I asked my salesman why this could be and he mentioned that there were dealer add ons. I asked him to explain and so he did, it was for the scotchgard door protectors. I was fine with this, but when I inspected the window sticker it had it listed at $495 however the vehicle quote for this was over $1000 on the breakdown. Even after doing this adjustment with the asking price being five hundred dollars over what it should have been the numbers still did not match. My salesman was awesome the whole time, but could not get the numbers to match so I asked to speak to his sales manager while he was off helping another customer. AK, the general manager treated me very rudely. Upon greeting him I asked him if he was the manager. He looked worried so I replied that I was not there to complain about anyone, and that in fact I was being treated great. I started explaining that I did not understand the pricing and that if I could get a detailed breakdown I can put the numbers into my Capital One financing app to make sense of the sale price. It was when I asked him if there are any hidden fees that he decided to take it to the next level (he was already replying in a hostile way). He said that it is illegal to have hidden fees in California and if I am going to accuse him of this he will not be doing any business with me. I did not know this when I asked and was not making accusations. Me and my wife were shocked at his response. I even put my hands up passively and said I am sorry I think we got off on the wrong foot, to which he replied "yeah you did" instantly. This really made us uncomfortable, but we really wanted the truck. I made mention of the price mistake on the scotchgard to maybe help match numbers and get a definitive true price, and this is when he said "leave, we wont be doing business with you". I was approved for this truck and had plenty of down payment but was treated like absolute trash by this man. I know that because they got a deposit and it was a for sure sale at the higher price that I did not matter to them as a customer at all. My salesman rolled his eyes when I told him what had happened, and asked me If he can "ask his sales manager to please to sell us the truck". I foolishly said Ok, if we can get it at the right price. He came back and said that the manager didn't want any riff raff if there was a problem with the vehicle after the sale. We were baffled. We just wanted to buy this truck and get Mike (our sales guy) a sale. He was very nice. If they took a deposit they should have not even tried to sell it out from under someone in the first place or let me drive all that way. read more

Well, I just got off the phone with the Sales Manager (Leo) at Livermore Ford and little to say but this Dealership has "shady" business practices. Definitely experienced their lack of integrity for not standing behind their contracts and agreements which says volumes about what the Dealership stands for. We agreed on the sale of a vehicle with all parties signing an agreement of sale contract. Then, when in the process of closing funds, I get a call a few days later saying that they sold my vehicle. I had been looking at a couple dealerships who were all pushy and wouldn't take no for an answer, until I came to Livermore Ford and was helped by Shak he let me do my thing didn't rush me to chose and allowed me to test drive the truck and left it at that. I leased my car in mid January. It actually took 6 hours to physically get my car. Twenty five days went by with no contact from the dealer and then my husband and I both receive letters of credit denial in the mail. Our credits scores are above 800. I call Ford financial and they have no record of us or the car. I call the dealership and I'm told they made a mistake on their end and the contract didn't go through. Was promised it would be redone right away. After several phone calls from me, the contract was finally sent to me three days later. I have asked to speak to the GM or Sales Manager several times and no response. I'm the meantime I have received three emails and phone calls telling me that my car is ready to be picked up! This review is for the sales team at Livermore Ford Lincoln. This is the fourth new car my husband and I have purchased. Over the course of the last few months we've interacted with four different people on the sales team in some capacity or another. Overall, it was the best car buying experience we've had. Not only were each of the people we worked with consistently helpful and in no way pushy - but Ryan the sales manager was transparent and straight with us through the process. So what made this such a great experience? Lets start with the first thing I notice as a woman walking onto a car lot. I'm the primary driver of this car and for years have dealt with male sales associates either A.) Trying to tell me what I should want and what I shouldn't -- to the extent that twice I've been told women don't drive manuals and wouldn't I prefer an automatic.. and B.) refusing to address me and instead just speaking to my husband -- even after I tell them this will be my car. I cannot stress how much I appreciated that both of the men we worked most directly addressed me personally and understanding this was my primary car, acted in a way that reflected and respected that. From there, Ryan went out of his way to help bridge the gap for us while we waited for our new vehicle to arrive (the delivery date slipped a couple of times). When it got here, we were able to work with him over the phone to nail down all details so that when the time came, my husband and I could go in, spend 5 min signing paper work and be on our way. I cannot tell you how valuable that is when you have two small children in tow wherever you go. The last time we purchased a car (it was not at this dealership), we expressed the same to concern to our sales person who assured us we'd be in and out -- and sure, we went in and 3 hours later, with one screaming, hungry and exhausted child, we were out. Ryan was a no BS person to work with. He didn't push anything on us we didn't want, he didn't try to up-sell on the extras or haggle as we went. DO NOT SHOP HERE Several of the people who sold us the car were FIRED for negligence and inability to produce a valid contract 3 months after leaving the lot with the vehicle. The finance managers threatened me at me at my work and on several other occasions. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE unless you want to be threatened and screamed at in front of the entire dealership. Cal (more like a cow) threw papers at me and said if I don't return the vehicle I will be arrested on the spot, the car will be repossed, and that they will report the car as stolen. From the second we left the lot, the dealership has tried to force us into numerous different contracts but could not once provide a letter from the banks that the contracts were denied. This dealership is negligent in all accounts and will make your life a living hell. Legal consultation is being pursued and the CEO of this dumpy ass dealership has been contacted. Terrible service at Livermore Ford. I took it there because of several bad experiences at Tracy Ford. After the Livermore Ford service writer handed me my keys I walked to my vehicle only to immediately see motor oil on my front right wheel, oil handprints all over the truck, DEF spilled down the drivers side of the bed above/below the fill port, tires weren't rotated properly, lug nuts under torqued, and the tires not inflated. After showing the service writer these discrepancies he said WTF, how he was embarrassed, apologized, and got the truck washed. He stated that he was hired on to take care of problems like this. About 2 mins later I saw him laughing and joking with the service manager and the techs. Not good optics at all. When my truck returned it wasn't dried off, water spots already forming, and only part of the tires had tire dressing on it. Very half-ass job by all. This is what I get paying into the service plan. I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. I leased an Escape in 2017, and have now requested my end of lease information about 15 times, and have not received anything from them. I have been told numerous times that a "Manager" will be informed, but nothing happens. No phone calls, no additional emails, and nothing has been sent. Though the car itself is great, I am so disappointed in their service. Not to mention, that when I got the car, and had a free wash at their dealer, they did not remove the antennae (which at the time, i did not know needed to be removed for a wash) and broke the base of it off the top of my car. The service team here is either exceptionally incompetent or dishonest. I took my 2012 Ford Fusion in with recalls, as well a rear seat that would not go down (common problem with tight belts). Recalls were done and the tech said the rear seat problem was with the latch, not the belt. He also pointed out that the steering column was loose. They wanted $1400 to fix both of these items, and I declined. After taking it there my car started having noise issues and I finally took it to another car repair shop. The noise problem may not have been related to Ford service, but they tightened the steering column in 15 mins and confirmed the problem with the rear seat going down was the belt. Fixed both for $350. Never going to Livermore Ford again BTW, when I brought my car in the person behind the desk said she would not charge me for the seat if the issue was just the belt. She charged me $300 since the tech said it was the latch read more

Went to the dealer for a advertised price. When the total came back, there was a $1144 add on charge for a car theft service. I asked to have this removed as we do not want this service and they said it could not be removed. So basically they advertise a price but the advertised price is BS. They have hidden fees added to the vehicle price. Why not just advertise the actual price if you are up front and honest. Not a good way to do business. They also advertise a Lifetime Power Train Warranty. I work for a large company and we were purchasing a company vehicle, which they knew the first time I walked into the dealership. They conveniently let us know that warranty didnt cover company vehicles.....at the signing of the papers! Nope, not on the first visit or the 10 phone calls in between.....while we were signing the papers. How convenient of them. Oh and the truck was given to us with a 1/4 of gas. Our Ford truck broke down when we were on a vacation trip pulling our fifth wheel trailer. The closest dealer for repair was Livermore Ford and we lucked out that it was nearby. The people went out of their way to help us. They pushed to get the parts (a new turbo and cooler) and fixed everything. They let us stay overnight in our trailer in their parking lot and we were on our way the next day by 3 PM. Louis Lanza, the Service Advisor, was the star of the whole event and Mannie was an excellent mechanic who got everything done in record time. If we need a new truck at some point, this is where we will get it! read more

I purchased a used clean 2011 Ford Explorer with very low miles with one previous owner. I took it in for its first regular Maintenace. Once everything was done, I get a call saying my vehicle is ready for pick up. The next following day I go about my business. I'm driving with my wife and twin newborn's that are 1 month of age. I lose complete power in the middle of the freeway as I notice my Low Oil Pressure light comes on. I was able to pull over to the shoulder after getting some help. I was able to check the oil. It appeared to be lower than spec. I had it towed home where a technician came out the next day. He confirmed the vehicle had oil but could have been slightly below spec, there was no leak. He mentioned it might have been an oil pressure sensor. or a loose hose connection that we noticed that connects to the air filter box. Long story short they couldn't determine the exact cause but think it may have been the unconnected hose that leads to the air Filter box. Overall, I had an awful and freighting experience my family was put at high risk especially with newborns!!! I had to miss work for an error that was made on fords end while under custody of my vehicle during the Maintenace procedure. Please double check your vehicle before leaving their lot!! read more

I called on a Tuesday afternoon to have a problem with my car looked at. I asked when would be a good time to bring the car in and I was told Wednesday. Wednesday afternoon I called three times for a status update. I did not receive a call back. Thursday afternoon I finally got a call back and was told I should have an estimate by the end of the day. No call. Friday I called four times in addition to calling the service manager three times and left messages. I got a call back late in the afternoon saying they are still running diagnostics and would need the car until Monday. Monday I called the service department three times and the service manager three times and left messages. No calls. Tuesday I arrived at 9 am and asked to have my car back. The service advisor said they were not done but should be within the hour. I asked how services were started without notifying me of the problem and the estimate to repair. He then told me my estimate was $3000.00 I I asked for my car back. I was offered several discounts. He finally said my car would be ready the following day and would cost $1200. How is this possible? I got my car back the next day, paid the $1200. And drove home. Along the way, the problem started again. I took it back and was told something entirely different was wrong and they fixed it at no additional cost. Their lack of communication is astounding. The service manager never attempted to call back. This is a terrible way to run a business. That was the last of Ford for me. read more

I wanted to like this dealership, at the beginning they where attentive and provided all the information I needed to arrange the sale via email. Made an deal, came in for test drive, truck was super clean and I purchased. I paid in full that evening and made arrangements to pickup the next morning. This is were things go wrong. Truck was suppose to be ready at 9am, I arrive at 9:10 and nothing has been done, truck not ready. They say it now has to go to detail and get fuel. Salesman Nate wants to argue with me its not his fault, he didnt know, but we traded emails the night before and time was set. Mind you they only needed to remove window stickers and put in gas. Truck was clean. In the middle of this I guess they have a sales meeting so everyone disappears and leaves me wondering what is going on for the next hour. I see the truck come back for detail around 9:55. I find someone in managers office and ask if he could please me get out of there since I have appointments later that morning. He tries to contact saleman, Nate, Steve and finance guy Fasil who assisted in sale. No response from anyone. He also cant find keys or my paperwork. Its now 10:30 and sales meeting ends and I am pretty upset since I have been waiting an hour and half. Nate proceeds to lie again and say truck is still at detail and please be patient. I tell him its been outside for 35 minutes. Whats the deal and when can I leave. I guess my interaction attracted someone who may have been a manager. I dont know since he did not introduce himself. Nate leaves to get the truck fueled. I inform the gentleman that I have been there since 9:10 waiting to pickup my vehicle, which was suppose to be ready at 9. Its now 10:30 and no one seems to care about wasting my time. Now comes the excuses, well you completed your sale late last night after our detail shop was closed so we could not take it over till this morning mind you they didnt. So if you know it wasnt going to be ready why did you make appt. for 9am for me to pickup. I get no answer just the "please be patient line". Finally out of there at 10:46. Its unfortunate that this dealership does not value their patron time. I manage a small business and would never treat my customers with such disregard. It is also unfortunate that I never receive an apology from management or any kind of offer to compensate me for my wasted time. I have been taking my car to Fremont Ford for years and have received great service. Recently, the horn on the car broke. We took it Livermore Ford and they couldn't figure out how to fix it. They ended up replacing the sec and clock springier ($700+). The horn broke again a week later and we decided to take the car to a mechanic in Pleasanton. In just a few hours they determined that the issue was with the airbag. They are going to fix the issue for under $600. read more

Upon arrival they had said it was with the mechanic to have a relay replaced and wasn't ready for a test drive and that they only had it for a few days. Omid was pretty helpful trying to show us as much as possible and trying to work with us but it ended up not working out for us. I made the appointment weeks in advance and was never advised the parts were not in prior to my arrival. When I questioned why no one called, I was told "we have a lot of ford vehicles here." Trust me when I say the conversion went downhill from here. It was evident that this individual had no clue what he was talking about so I left. I attempted to speak with the supervisor; however, this individual will not return a call. He has no idea why I am calling, but numerous messages have gone unanswered. You can not! I repeat you can not trust Ford Livermore service department. I had my pads and rotors replaced, shortly after they were replaced I felt the vehicle shaking after I applied pressure to the brakes. They told me it wasn't my rotors rather it was my struts. So I took it to another mechanic and they resurfaced my rotors and the shaking disappeared. And charged me $180. Ford wanted to charge me $1300 for my struts when they new all along it was my rotors. Never again will I go to Ford Livermore and I hope you don't use them as well, horrible service and not very honest.. read more
