He took his time as we test drove a few SUVs and we decided on one, although the price was a bit too high for us with starting a family and moving to a new place. The manager was refusing to work with us and she was pretty rude. He was quick to work with us and got a price we were able to afford. He made the entire process very non stressful and no pressure. I called in the morning on a Sunday to confirm the inventory of a much sought after 2017 bronze forester xt and was greeted warmly by CHIA. She was attentive from start to finish and even had the car pre washed prior to my arrival. I set an appointment, came in with a purpose, enjoyed the cold air conditioning and refreshments because it's Livermore people and it's hot as hell, haggled a little bit with her and she was patient and calm the whole time. Shook hands. Done deal. Note: if you have your heart set on a car make sure you ask your salesperson to take both sets of keys while negotiating. Literally 3 people asked about my car in a span of 15 minutes. Tell them to hide that sh*t! Oh and eat something beforehand if you don't want to starve. With the heat and not eating lunch I definitely gained a notch on my belt that day. After talking with the finance people she took the time to give a quick but thorough tutorial of the car. Prior to our visit, I had been exchanging emails with Sam and Cassie from their Internet Sales Department. In my experience, internet sales are normally accompanied with generic responses and slow response time. Fortunately this was not the case. They were extremely responsive and gave helpful information about the car and the different packages offered. After a series of emails, we had a good idea of what to expect on our visit. I must applaud Sam for his patience during our visit. My family is not the easiest work with when it comes to big purchases and to top it all off, English is not among my family's skillset. From the initial greeting to signing the purchase agreement Sam gave us ample of time to make a comfortable decision without pushing products. I believe the only downside of this whole process was that the exact car we wanted was all sold out... BUT to compensate for the lack of inventory they paid for the transportation cost to have our brand new Forester available the next day. We picked it up the next morning and Sam spend an extra hour helping us setup our Bluetooth and the rest of the features. EXTREME warranty purchase pressure even though I had stipulated in advance to the salesperson that I would not be buying a warranty and needed to complete the transaction in a limited time frame. I had purchased a loaded Forester on the internet about 15 months ago. I drove about 350 miles round trip (from Hanford) to get the car. The car readiness, the sale courtesy and the general paperwork process went well until they ratcheted up the pressure on buying an extended warranty. I was given the pitch by three different people. With each one I started out by saying that I would not buy one. That did not slow them down at all and I was subjected to their full pitch. I ended up with the impression that the dealership makes more on the warranty than on selling the car. I felt very disrespected. It is ironic that Subaru places such emphasis on the dependability of their vehicle and then I am told I need to buy extended coverage. Not a consistent message. I am very happy with the car but will not consider Livermore Subaru for future Subaru purchases nor will I recommend them. read more

Honestly, they can't hold a candle to the service I received here. I emailed every Subaru and Scion dealership when looking for my dream car, the notorious and affordable rwd twins; FRS and BRZ. A lot of dealers had very good pricing for MSRP if not lower. Although, Sam managed to match them all and thensome. He was very diligent and had excellent communication throughout the whole process. He kept me updated through text with my busy schedule. On the day I arrived to pick up the car, I ran into traffic and got in just before closing time. I came here to check out a CPO Subaru for a very good price but we left with a brand new WRX because the price was too good to pass up. Cedric Moses the internet manager was the one helping me out. So me and my friend planning to come in and check out the CPO WRX. We were about 15 min away Cedric called me and told us the car just got sold. We told him thanks and was about to head back home and Cedric was like I will give you a deal on a new WRX if you give me a few min. Long story short we agree on the amazing deal and agree on my trade in value too. Only reason this deal took over 4hrs to get done because bank or union wanted more down and I didn't want too. I have great credit (750+) but the down side was not so much history. But all in all we agree on the numbers and got the deal done. Cedric was great on helping me out and never pushing me to buy. Even told me and my friend if you have to walk you walk because you have to be happy with these numbers. Cedric is probably one of the best car sales men I ever talk too. Sam from Livermore Audi finance finish my paper work and was very cool dude because he didn't push us to get any warranty like other dealership. Only bad thing was 3 weeks later the car radio had a black line and screen was very static and apply car play didn't work. Took it in and dealer couldn't reset/fix it so they order a new one under warranty and got it taken care of. Also around this time Gisele the Sales Manger/GM called me and told me I got you a better rate from the bank because of what going on around the world right now so can you come in and sign the new paperwork. I would like to take a moment at this weekend, to sincerely say THANK YOU to Livermore Subaru! Kudos to all of you. I recently went to their dealer store to buy a new 2021 Crosstrek. And the great great nice guy, Ron Chin, was always helping me with anything. We spoke on the phone before I went there, and I felt completely comfortable with the conversations. After I got there in person, he very nicely introduced the basics of the car, and helped me to go through all steps including insurance, financing, and so on. During the financing processing, the finance manager, Sharice McDonald, is such a nice lady. She understood that I was in a hurry to get back, and she tried her best to process my case as quickly as possible. I really appreciate her help! During the final payment step, my bank unfortunately could not allow me to swipe a large of cash with a PIN machine. And another nice lady, Chia K, gave me many amazing suggestions. Because I was a pretty new driver and it was dark outside, I asked whether someone could drive the car to my apt for me. Chia and Ron stood up and helped me with the car delivery, even when it was pretty late (like 6 or 7PM already). I feel like I was surrounded by many many nice person in this dealer. I could not express my gratitude more! Now I have been driving the car for a few of weeks, and I totally love it! I hope I could do more for these nice people, rather than simply writing this review. I have been a loyal customer of Subaru since 2003. I am on my second Forester and my husband just purchased a 2019 Impreza. I would not drive anything else. However, there are major problems with this dealership. Every single time I call for parts or service I get disconnected. The people answering the phone are incompetent, confused and never helpful. My husband recently had a flat tire. He needed a new tire and rim. The tire was in stock. The rim was not. The parts department told my husband the rim would be in the next day. He left work early only to get there and find no rim. No one called him to tell him the part had not come in. Time wasted. This past week a motorcycle hit the side mirror of my husband's car. We called to have the parts sent overnight. I called to make a service appointment and was told there were no appointments until March 13. I consider this an emergency service request. It is not safe to drive without a mirror. After speaking to FOUR people, I finally convinced them to "fit us in" for the repair. I find this lack of customer service unacceptable at best. I was chatting with someone online yesterday to explain all of this. I gave my name and number. Someone called my husband and said I was having an issue with a part. First, it was not an issue with a part. Second, why did they call my husband after I gave my name and number? Does anyone know what they are doing there? We get nothing but a runaround every single time we have to deal with this dealership. My husband was driving a loaner Impreza when his car was waiting for a new tire and rim. It was an upgraded Impreza that he really liked. He was actually considering trading his car in for the upgraded model. We decided dealing with the people at Livermore Subaru is not worth the aggravation. I will no longer refer people to this dealership. It's that bad. And finally, I find it incredible that to replace the glass and plastic cover on a side mirror was almost $500.00!! I hope someone takes a hard look at this dealership. The people are rude, the service staff has no clue what they are doing, everyone in the parts department acts like you are bothering them and the very small waiting room is always a mess including chairs with duck tape on them. My one star goes to the Subaru Finance team. My credit score was affected by something they did and has left me with nothing but anger and frustration. Read below to understand! Because I purchased a Subaru WRX, yes I understand an Impreza WRX are technically the same thing. Upon purchasing the WRX, Subaru Finance told me I was getting a Subaru Impreza; I let them know I was getting the WRX, and his response was "it's the same thing". Okay great, since all my paperwork says Subaru Impreza. So of course when it comes to my loan, they label it as Subaru Impreza. 4 months into paying my loan, I received a letter in the mail (no phone calls) just a letter in the mail from Subaru Finance, stating my account was closed by Subaru Finance, and a new one was open. After calling my loan company to find out why, come to find out, my loan should have been labelled WRX the entire time, not Impreza. What this effected: My auto payment being late, since I was unaware to change the autopay over to the new account, and I was under the impression the payment would pull through. My bad, understandably so. My credit score. Because Subaru Finance closed the first loan, and opened up a new loan for me, the credit company saw that I had late payments all 4 months, which was never true, because they were seeing the Impreza loan....which is something that Subaru Finance did and dropped my credit significantly. I have spent hours on the phone with my banks, loan provider, and Subaru Finance to correct all of their mistakes and for my credit score to be corrected. What this results in: never purchasing a Subaru again. I never had an issue with Honda or Audi, my family members never having an issue with Chevi or Ford. Please save yourself and do not go to Livermore Subaru, and if you do, and you purchase a Subaru WRX, please make sure that your financial advisor inputs WRX and not Impreza, so you do not have to deal with the continuous issues I have had to deal with. read more

My husband and I ended up taking our car here, after a "waste of time" at Precision Tune-Up on Peralta in Fremont. First of all, I wasn't thrilled about the gentleman who was sitting at the front desk. Every person at this dealership are different, btw. Just pray you get a good one. To make the long story short, we waited awhile, which is fine because we didn't make an appointment that day and everyone else was waiting as well. The man behind the desk said we needed to leave our car overnight to get whatever needs to be fixed and pass the smog check. I hesitated because Livermore was an unfamiliar territory for me and I would have to go and pick up the car by myself. Anyways, we insisted a weekend appointment and he said he didn't have it. Then proceeds to mention that they don't book appointments on the weekends...?! I can understand if this was a private dealership, but a main Subaru dealership? So he waited for our response and I got pissed, simply not being helpful at all. He asked me what I do for a living like a snotty little minimum wage kid. This sounds mean right? You betcha! Wtf, treat all of your customers with respect regardless of how they look. I'm not walking in like a snotty little bitch who is probably making more than all of them wearing suits. I responded "I TEACH." 5 DAYS a week. My husband goes to work and school MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. My son goes to daycare 5 days a week, so weekends is best for us as a family. I had to bite my tongue to prevent profanity from leaking out of my mouth. After that response, he finally became helpful. Got us a rental car for two days at the price of $30 a day. Anyhow, thank God we bought insurance with USAA (best bank ever). I'll post that later. To speed things up, when I finally picked up my car, a nice young gentleman with blonde shaved hair totally took care of me. He knew customer service, I asked him if he could please drive my car next to my rental car so I could transport stuff from one car to another and he did. The older gentleman who was slightly overweight (sorry), was very kind too. I had a pleasant experience picking up my car that day. So kiss your dices and hope that you receive these gentlemen who were good with customer service when I picked up my car. read more

We purchased our Subaru Outback at Livermore Subaru on 5/26/13 Prior to our purchase , we had visited the Livermore Subaru branch 2 times looking around. Our first and second visit, we were approached by Sam & Ahmad respectively. We simply mentioned that we were "just looking" and they respected that answer and to just simply call them if we had any questions. Everyone is different but for me, I always dread going to dealerships, I like to look around without being harassed; I like to be left alone until I want to speak to an employee. On our 3rd visit, that's when we finally made a purchase and we had worked with Ahmad Rahimzadah, it was a very straight forward negotiation, he didn't give us a hard time, I didn't feel like we had to put on our "game face", the entire process from discussion to negotiation to finally sealing the deal was very smooth and painless. I've dealt with different dealerships in the past and this experience does not compare ( lucky for them, I was not a Yelper back then lol ) Ahmad answered ALL our questions; he was professional, knowledgeable and straight forward. He was also very respectful and considerate. I didn't feel like we were dealing with a "sales" person because he was very respectful with our concerns, questions and requests. ***04/17/15 Nearly 1 week after I purchased my car, I receive a hand written card in the mail from Ahmed thanking me again for allowing him to help me. He was very helpful and informative during my waiting time for my car to arrive. He was very easy to work with and any questions I had, he made sure to answer all of them. I spoke with Ahmed and signed any paperwork I needed within one hour which was very, very quick. So I first want to start off with the fact that I didn't purchase a car from Livermore Subaru. But I do have to share my experience with the sales associate , Kate. Last week, I went with my cousin to look at a few used cars that were available at the lot. I wanted to test out the 2015 Acura ILX as well as the 2016 Subaru Impreza sport and finally the 2015 Chevrolet Cruze. I called first spoke with Michael, and once I arrived Kate was the first person to help me. We went through giving my information to her, she had the keys for the Subaru, and we took a ride over to another car lot to pick up the other keys. The best thing about it was she let us take a seat in the car while she got the keys so we can get an initial idea how it feels and how it looks. Another great thing about Kate, was the fact that she grabbed all the keys to the cars that we wanted to test drive so we would not have to go back and forth inside of the dealership. Kate was fun, informative, and not pushy at all which is exactly what I was looking for in a sales person. She definitely put high standards to my experience with other sales associates, and I would say no one else could compare to Kate. I went to almost every Subaru dealership in the Bay Area... Livermore beats all other dealerships in every category... they have a huge selection even though you can't tell by the lot because they store most of them down the road. The employees are very knowledgeable about the cars themselves and features where I thought other dealers could have done better. They quoted me 3 prices on 3 different Foresters and they were allthe lowest in SoCal and NorCal that I received. I took their quote to other dealers and all were in shock on how aggressive the prices were. So basically if you want a fair price with no haggling... just go here and don't waste your time at other dealers. I live in San Leandro and had two closer options but I still went here!
