So... I FINALLY picked up my new Quartz Blue Pearl 2018 Subaru Crosstrek Limited yesterday and I am in LOVE with this car. HUGE thanks to Cassie for reaching out back in September after Costco paired me with Livermore Subaru. Cassie asked me to let her know of all the options that I wanted, quoted me, ordered my Crosstrek and kept me updated regularly for the past 2 months. We were promised 2.9 APR but got 5.2 APR 3) The process took 8+ hours 4) Zero help with car after purchase. Won't even return calls. I went into the dealership and was net by a salesman named Rajesh. The vehicle I wanted, a BRZ, was not in their inventory and had to be ordered due to the delay in getting conductors overseas. He helped me place my order online giving me all the options that I wanted. When my vehicle arrived to the dealership, Rajesh called me as the driver was unloading the BRZ from the delivery truck. Noah Sipat was by far the best service advisor I've talked to whenever going to a Subaru dealership. I had an oil leak in my car which Diablo Subaru was unable to fix and upcharged me for the service even though I had my warranty for the car. I came to the Livermore dealership and Noah told me what they were doing to do, what to expect, how much it will cost. I bought a Forester at this dealership in 2017. At that time I also purchased a maintenance plan which had a 42,000 miles coverage without time limit. Now when I go to Subaru dealerships for maintenance (in another state because I moved), they say that the maintenance plan has expired. I called Subaru Livermore and asked what's going on. First of all, it took me three days and multiple calls to be able to reach anyone in the finance department. And when I was finally on the phone with the finance department, they offered 0 help except saying that the dealership has changed its owner (gave me a different number to call) and they did not have my records. Bought 2015 Subaru Cross trek in 2015. All my services for my vehicle has been here. Services here is way over priced and parking is horridness. They've turned me away when my car wouldn't stat (I have a keyless type) and told me to come in when my car would light up with symbols- by that time, I'd be freakin' stranded in the back roads (that's the way I go to get home) of Old Altimont pass with no signal on cell to get help.If anyone has driven there WTF - WHY WOULD THEY RECOMMEND THIS? I don't know much about car parts but since I've had my lights replaced by another mechanic (as I was watching him) , he noticed parts in my car were missing , like , clips to hold down stuff (I don't know what it but that plastic thing could of popped off and blew up my engine) . The last mechanics to touch my car was LIVERMORE SUBARU. If there's another auto mechanic that specializes on Subaru's I'd be there. Wesley totally saved the day. After having a horrible experience buying and returning a used 2021 outback that turned out to have a ton of problems from a used corporate car lot I won't name. My wife and I came over to Livermore Subaru. Our salesman Wesley helped us out and found us exactly what we wanted at the price we where looking for. It was honestly the easiest stress free car purchase I've ever experienced. We took the car for a quick test drive, ran to the bank to secure our financing and came back to sign the papers. Wesley hooked us up with a certified preowned outback that had half the miles of one we returned, a great extended warranty and got us out the door for almost 3k less than the used car lot! The entire thing took under 2 hours. My wife and I absolutely love the new car and can now look back at this purchase as a very good experience. First of all, I would like to say that Sam is an AWESOME sales guy. If Sam had the opportunity to do the entire process, I would've given this 5 stars. The -3 stars is for the rest of the dealership.. especially the finance and service departments (I know there's a separate Yelp account for the service department-- but kind of find it weird.. maybe I'll go into detail about our service experience there). We decided to trade in our Honda Fit for a Subaru Forester. We were actually just there to window shop but they threw us a good deal. However, we weren't completely ready yet and asked if the downpayment could be cashed on a particular date and promised us that it will be noted. Unfortunately, it was cashed DAYS before the requested date.. which caused BIG issues for us that we needed to resolve OURSELVES.. when the dealership was the one who made the mistake. Second, remember how I said we weren't ready to purchase a car and trade it in? Well, we were still making monthly payments for the Fit, so the monthly payments were supposed to disappear from the Fit and transfer over to the Forester. Guess what? I'm currently paying for both of them. I contacted them via e-mail 2-3 days ago and have not received a response back. Now, my husband and I are trying to fix this issue ourselves for a mistake we didn't make (again). Third, we bumped into some finance guy named Will.. I'm assuming he was one of the guys everyone says "can be a little pushy." He was. In fact, he's probably the WORST finance guy we've ever bumped into. He was pretty much forcing us to add all this stuff we didn't want on it and was lying at the fact that if we decided to get a certain package, "They will take the car to a facility to add protection and that Armorall is formulated specifically for Subaru." Guess what? My husband has worked in the automotive field for 10+ years.. in pretty much all departments. Lastly, we bumped into a few issues we wanted to get fixed since we noticed a few things while test driving the car. They were willing to get those fixed.. but when we came in for service and waited for 6 hours, the most minor things were fixed (headlights and valve caps) instead of the tire pressure light we've been complaining about, as well as the alignment and loose e-brake! We also got the car with bald tires, but my husband also complained about that. After 6 hours, how could they just have done TWO THINGS?! I think what irritated me the most was that they didn't even give us a call to let us know it's ready.. only when we came back to wait in the lobby because we got tired of walking around the shopping center with no transportation! AND.. with the TWO THINGS they fixed, the black aftermarket lug nuts we had on the wheels were switched out to the factory ones for no reason. THIS WASN'T EVEN REQUESTED???? Were they planning to steal it??? Oh, and the rims are now DAMAGED from.. whatever the hell they did. We have to come back a second time to get the remaining things fixed and we live 20 mins. away. If this doesn't get resolved soon, I'm definitely taking this to corporate. read more

We recently purchased our SECOND Forester from Livermore Subaru. The sales representative went out of his way to help us select another Touring Model that appealed to both my Wife and I. The paperwork was done quickly and we were introduced to the Service Manager and his dog, Nemo. We took delivery and drove home happy with the deal we made, both on trade-in and purchase. The Next week was filled with reading the manual and finding out what new intricacies the 2023 model had over the 2018. Now HERE is where the Dealership rates a star ABOVE great! We received an invitation via postcard from a personable young lady to come in for a educational session on our new car. We arrived on time and were immediately greeted by the same young lady. She spent the next hour and a half answering our questions and methodically going over every aspect of the vehicle that we would eventually expect to set to our configuration. We learned how to custom set ALL aspects of driver seating, including automatic recognition of the driver, automatically setting seat AND mirror configuration, how to disconnect engine stop/start (this is a feature to save gas, but is irritating to both of us) and many other points of adjustment/readjustment. This is a brand new facet of buying a new car that no other Dealer has bothered to integrate into their sales actions.
