We've always wanted to give this restaurant a try and today we did. We got seated right away and got some waters and the conchas sweet bread was delicious. The place was nice bright and clean. The bathroom was also very clean So we sat for about 10-15 before we placed our order. Then we sat for about 30+ minutes and then the server came up to us and told us they have a problem with their system- our order was never placed !and server promised us to rush ours We almost walked out but then after about 45 minutes our food came out and we're glad we waited. Unfortunately not a great experience today. Been here for lunch before and breakfast today. Let me start with the good: the food is pretty good and the kitchen staff are efficient. The not so good: service staff need to be retrained. They are woefully inefficient for a restaurant that is focused on breakfast & lunch. We arrived around 8:20 am (prime breakfast hour), party of 3. Took almost 25 min to get seated despite one open 4-seater outside, 1 open 6-seater inside, 1 open 4-seater inside and 1 4-seater that just needed to be bussed. Wait staff would pass by us and three other parties waiting to be seated at least 5 times instead of seating the tables and letting everyone look through the menus and figure out what to order. (Seemed like a number of staff didn't start their shifts until 9am too.) After finally getting seated they then proceeded to take orders from a table seated after us despite being ready and waiting. Once we ordered, food came fairly quickly, but it took a while to get an iced coffee trio flight my wife ordered. read more

Food portions are smaller than other places but filling. 3 stars because manager couldn't explain why taxes on my receipt were $4.99(10.50%). My total was $47.56 and if im not wrong sales tax should have been $3.68(7.75% orange sales tax). Manager left to the back to check but insisted that sales taxes are different in different cities.
