One of the few downsides of WFH life is a lack of variety of food options. Local Kitchens brings that variety back. It's also a great option for groups who can't decide what they want to eat. The kitchen staff were super warm and welcoming. They showed us how to order on the kiosk. Our order was flagged as ready due to a minor mistake and we just waited for less than 10 minutes, yet they were more than professional and not only offered a free drink but also asked us to pick out a more expensive drink :) We like the food a lot, a burger and a vegetarian curry bowl, because it hit the spot! read more

I had no idea what I stumbled into and was WOWED from the moment I walked in. Erin (Eryn?) in marketing greeted me and walked me through ordering. She knew I was having a hard day and that I was a new customer. With that, she gave me a cookie for trying the place and entered my order for me. My order was accidently lost when she clicked back to (graciously) add a discount code for me. Erin, never missing a beat, told me to leave while she'd reenter my order and BRING ME MY FOOD. No joke. I gave her my credit card and ran out. She literally brought me my food with an extra dessert. Please don't go asking for anything extra as I don't know that lovely Erin and the marketing team will be there every day. Note the guy behind the register was also very friendly. The point is they went WAY above and beyond in service. The food was delicious and I'll be a customer or life. PROMOTE ERIN. She's a rising star and will be leading a team in no time. Food was alright but it doesn't compare to the local offerings. This time I had a chicken shawarma but I'd say Falafel Stop serves a much better one. In addition, they got parts of my order wrong (no lettuce and tomato in my MeltBurger) and the food was not warm enough. I'm excited by the concept but I don't think the food offered quite meet the standards set by other restaurants in the area. read more

I don't know where to begin... 1. The food was outstanding! The chicken meal from Proposition Chicken was insanely delicious! The three pieces of fried chicken that came with a biscuit, a tomato cucumber salad and a side of hot sauce. 2. We also ordered fries with a side of ranch dressing. Insanely good. Perfectly cooked, crunchy, with the right amount of salt... we couldn't wait to get home to eat them, so we cracked it open in the car to enjoy. We found the food extremely delicious, but another standout: 3. The customer service!!! I had an issue with my order and Micah was amazing. She was prompt in assisting my error and even more she was profession, empathetic and was able to provide a refund! Rave reviews all around! Thank you, Micah! I only ordered a couple of Samosas from the Curry Up Now menu this time, but I am looking forward to returning and getting a full meal for the family. The staff was very nice. We were disappointed by our first (and last) meal from Local Kitchens. Our Senor Sisig Burrito was OK, barely lukewarm with hard old rice, and very expensive at $14. The Salmon Samba was better, not bad, but not at all worth $16. That "50% off" promo only allows up to a $7 credit (not mentioned until you check out), leaving us with an expensive quick meal that seemed like it came from a series of warming bins. You can do much better for less at other nearby restaurants. read more

I had noticed while driving that a new restaurant had opened up recently, located just next door to The City Fish. I decided to visit Local Kitchens this week and did not expect such a unique and pleasant experience. I was politely greeted by a welcoming staff member and was helped to the kiosk where I learned about Local Kitchens' unique concept. There were several well known Bay Area restaurant brands to choose from all in one location! The West side of Cupertino doesn't have the largest selection of restaurants so I'm quite glad that Local Kitchens has opened in this community. I plan to be back soon to try some of the other brands on the menu! read more

Was going to eat there, but saw a 5% living wage surcharge on my checkout when ordering. This was on top of the 20% tip I planned on giving. I really don't mind paying more for people to get a living wage, but build it into your price, not some extra fee so I don't know what I am paying till the end. read more

Local Kitchens has been a great addition to the neighborhood. The ability to order a bunch of different types of food has been great for extended family dinners. There's been a couple times when they've gotten real busy and the food takes a little longer than expected, but most of the time the website estimate is accurate and the food is ready when I arrive for pickup. read more

This is a great place to pick-up meals for the whole family. They have a wide variety of food that will make everybody happy. It's very easy to order and you can track to the minute when the food will be ready. The staff is very friendly. Prices are reasonable. On top of that, they go out of their way to make sure the customers are satisfied. One day, my son and his friends ordered from the wrong Local Kitchens location (i.e. Mtn View instead of Cupertino). When they arrived a the Cupertino location to pick-up their food, they realized their mistake. The staff at Cupertino's local kitchen immediately prepared their meals for FREE so they did not have to drive to Mtn View. You can't expect more than that as customer service!!! read more

Took the family to the Cupertino location today, this was our first time there. The place is really clean, and the automated ordering machines are easy you use. Ken, who manned the front of the restaurant, was super friendly. He and the rest of the staff offered superb excellent service, the food was tasty and the selection plentiful.
