I honestly would have not known this company existed without Yelp event. I am thoroughly impressed of the options, via multiple kitchens under one rough. There's always something special about a food court, and I am glad there is a healthy creative take on it with this establishment. I was really interested in Senor Sisig and Proposition Chicken. I ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich, sweet buttermilk biscuit, and Ube Horchata. The ube horchata was really sweet but I couldn't taste the ube. The cinnamon was over powering, that's all you tasted. But the texture was great. The sweet buttermilk biscuits was really dense. I thought it'd be a bit lighter or fluffier. The shining star was the fried chicken sandwich! I normally don't like chips with my sandwiches but oh my gosh, these chips were to die for! They were handmade sage potato chips and I couldn't have gotten enough of it. I wish I asked for more. The chicken sandwich itself was really tasty, but only because of the spicy slaw. The fried chicken itself was all right. I think by itself it was just a tad dry. But the slaw really made it shine. What a masterpiece they have with that slaw. Definitely order extra slaw and potato chips here. You won't regret it. Overall all experience was still really great. The lady who packed my order and greeted me at the front door actually made the experience a bit more enjoyable than I just coming to pick up a single order. I love the positivity she exuded. They have a special for new customers for online ordering, it's $10 off your first order. And they also have a points reward system. This is the first time i stop by at Local Kitchen and i ordered the asian box pork and the lumpia's 1/2 & 1/2. The lemongrass pork was delicious and tender but the lumpia's, 3 out of 6 were severely burnt to the point it was over powering. Why would you send them out knowing they look like that? Considering the order was over $10 was very disappointing. 3 out of 5 since almost half of my order was basically non edible . I would try this place again if around the area. While I love the concept of dark/cloud/virtual kitchens, I don't think I've ever been wow'd by one. I am very familiar with the concept as I do food deliveries on my spare time. I was chosen to participate in the Yelp elite event this week. For a late lunch, I decided to use the deal I had for this location yesterday. The location is super clean and the staff are friendly. The pick up process is very simple as you see your order status on a huge screen when you walk in. I ended up ordering the protein plate from SAJJ and the Sexy Fries and Samosas from Curry Up Now. Now the one thing I don't like is that these kitchens don't generally carry the full menu of the restaurants that are listed. My partner is on a strict diet and it was difficult to choose something for him. I do like the fact though that you can modify the items in your order. The protein plate was the best dish out of the bunch by far. The meat was delicious and tender. The hummus was great too. The Sexy Fries were a huge disappointment. I came exactly at the time the website said to pick up the food. The fries were inedible (they were extremely soggy). I hade huge hopes for that dish. The samosas were good. I have nothing great or bad to say about them. I live in San Jose, so I won't be going out of my way to eat here. read more

We were pleasantly surprised by this new pop up restaurant in our Cupertino area. The dishes are boxed very cleanly. We are assured that they are COVID safe. The Tikka Masala was delicious. Great place to try a variety of food. Prices could be lower though. read more

Ive never felt the need to write a review before but this was the worst burrito Ive ever had. It ended up costing 25$ because everything was a dollar or more extra to get the basics (beans, sour cream, cheese, meat). It was cold, and 90% rice with some large pieces of tomatoes which I was supposed to be pico??? I was supposed to have an egg and cilantro cream which I didnt get and I got maybe 5 tiny bits of pork. I paid extra to make it spicy as well and Ive had tea that has more spice/flavor. Not too sure whats going or how this place got such good reviews, maybe it was just the workers having a bad days, but 85$ for 3 rice burritos feels like a ripoff no matter which way you look at it. read more

Love the idea of being able to order from multiple restaurants at one location~ I ordered the Traditional Carnitas Taco and the Guajillo Braised Beef Taco from Tacolicious. I thought the tacos were okay, they were quite soggy in my opinion and broke apart easily as I was trying to pick them up, which made them hard to eat. Maybe I'll go back again to try some food from one of the other restaurants, but I probably won't be going back again for the tacos .-. read more

I'm so glad this place opened up near where I live (walking distance). I think the concept of having multiple vendors is really neat, not to mention a fast and user-friendly online ordering system. They also send live updates of your order's status! I haven't tried all the vendors yet, but it is on my bucket list to try all of them at some point. They have some seating inside too if you want to enjoy your food immediately. Also, some vendors are open late, which is amazing for this area because everything closes at 9 or 10pm. read more

This is located a couple doors down from City Fish (go for Happy Hour! :) ). There is plenty of parking in the front, side street or rear parking lot. Once you walk in, ordering is done through 4-5 iPads and can take a while due to the wide variety of items they offer. The inside has limited seating - about 3 tables. There are also about the same number on the outside. Ordered two items: The food took about 12 minutes to prepare. 1.Geisha's Kiss Sushirito: It was good. Basically, like a big sushi roll with stuff inside you typically don't find. I thought the lotus chips added a nice crunchy texture to the roll. 2. Steamed Tender Pork Belly sandwich: This is the alternative to the pork belly w/ steamed bun but instead it's baked and on a brioche burger bun - didn't like it. The bun was definitely stale and I was expecting tender, juicy pork but instead got some dry slices of meat. On the plus side, the staff was nice. I'm not sure whether I will be back. read more

Though this place advertises that they have food from some of the best restaurants in the area, it didn't serve well against the hype. I have had food from Curry up now restaurant and food truck in San Francisco. They do not have full menu. I ordered a punjabi bowl and the paneer (cottage cheese) was rubbery. The chana masala was sour as if overloaded with tamarind. I also ordered a hummus + falafel and I have never such horrible falafels. They were deep fried probably numerous times that they had an over-crunchy outer layer which ran deep. The only plus I see is that it is open till late. read more

We were actually visiting another restaurant when we passed this place and spotted the logos of a few popular eats we recognised from SF. A member of staff then popped out to tell us about Local Kitchens. Inside was very clean with a few tables and seating available inside and outside. There are also a few self-service ordering stations which were easy to use and pay at, and hand sanitizers available at each station. There was also a monitor showing the wait time for your order once you've ordered. Customer service was great, they even brought out our order in a bag as we were waiting outside at a table. We had the tosilog burrito by senor sisig, which tasted just as we remembered although there were a few more chunks of the Filipino sweet pork FAT rather than meat. read more

Ordered takeout on a Friday evening. Estimated pick up time was 20-25 min. I got there in 25 min. Not ready yet. So waited another 10 min before realizing by looking at their monitor that the waiting time was going up, not down. Checked with staff and they haven't even started making the food. Cupertino has a new gem! Just when we were hoping that a new restaurant would open up in the neighborhood, we stumbled upon this place on a walk and found out that in fact we have 9 new restaurants in town :) All our fast food dreams come true in one kitchen - amazing. Local Kitchens has been very thoughtful in their selection of restaurants - some of our favorite spots from SF and a wide variety of cuisines - from burritos to falafel to salads to breakfast sandwich bagels to ice cream to saag paneer to waffle fries. It's like a gourmet food court without having to go to the mall. I was very curious to see if the quality would hold up to the flagship restaurants given all the operational challenges to make this concept work - but I've been really impressed! You really can't tell the difference, and in fact - a couple items I would say are better! So far, favorite items: - senior sisig burrito (tofu) - falafel plate (saaj) - bagel veggie sandwich So many more to explore. Also, so many options for vegetarians. I didn't know I needed this in my life, but now I don't understand why it didn't exist before! A friend and I stopped in to Local Kitchens on our way out for a hike. He's vegetarian, I'm not. He's a healthy eater, me, not so much. Local Kitchens had something to satisfy both of us. He got the Fried Plantain Burrito from The Little Chihuahua and I got my favorite from Senor Sisig. This model that Local Kitchens follows is difficult for sustaining quality. Numerous restaurants funnel menu items through a single staff in this single kitchen. While each restaurant knows its own wares, this space has to be good at all of them. Though we only ordered several lunches off of 3 menus, we did have opportunity to interact fairly extensively with the staff to conclude they are conscientious and competent, so likely to pull this off if well managed. Our goods were tasty and satisfying from SAJJ's build-your-own bowls (so easy to customize) and Wise Sons. Unfortunately, Mixt's items were not available the day we were there. The Humphry Slocombe pints were so well packaged that the unopened ice cream was still frozen hours later on a warm day. A point for improvement is better ventilation - the space smells like fryers, a misleading greasy impression for a place with so many fresh & healthy options. This air quality couldn't be good for the staff. So far Local Kitchens is a win. read more

This is a truly fantastic place and revelatory idea! It's like being in several different restaurants at the same time! They have great dishes from really good restaurants that they make right there on the spot. I'm a huge fan of Oren's Hummus! It really is the best! Really lovely staff that sincerely cares. Finally, the concept of ordering from various eateries under one business - has arrived! Now, although the menus have a diverse mix, the menu items available are popular or items most ordered items from those businesses. We order on a friday nite at 6:30 ish - our order took roughly 1.5 hrs for two items, we order 3, but they ran out of ingredients. We picked up are order and they credited us for the 3rd item, they did not make. Ordered sisig burrito and butter chicken dish. Both were good! For other folks, they were upset their order took longer than time posted. I came in there to pick up an order today Sunday April 17th 5pm. The person at the counter was on his phone deep into responding to a text. No one in the place but me when I came in. No "hello and I'll be with you." I stood there so long even the workers in the back were wondering why I haven't been helped. My order was sitting there all alone with no other orders. came here for a yelp elite event, and it was great! love the cloud kitchen concept- it makes it so easy to get so much delicious food, and this one is an area where there aren't many options, which makes it even better! ordering online and picking up was super easy, and there was plenty of parking around. both the burrito and the bowl were delicious, just like from the restaurants! i only wish that they had the full vegano menu from señor sisig, but will still definitely be back! so glad this opened up in cupertino! read more
