The food is soooo good! I had the spinach & artichoke dip with chips/veggies appetizer, and the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. My sister had the honey ginger brussel sprout salad with grilled chicken. We also shared carrot cake... SO good! I've never had better food. Highly recommend! They have a great variety of options but it's not overwhelming, and they also offer vegan options. I love the ambiance and healthier choices on the menu. The Asian chicken salad is sooo good! I just hope they don't take it off the menu like they have some of my other favorites: Like why did the Mediterranean wrap go away, when all of the ingredients still appear in the gyro plate? Or the curry chicken dish (could have just been renamed)... Moving forward, more fish choices might be nice to add, but all in all a great place with pleasant service. read more

Despite all of these different hot pot experiences opening all across DFW, Squares continues to stand alone at the top of the mountain. In our opinion, their broth is the most flavorful we've ever. The quality of ingredients isn't up to par with say HaiDiLao, but there definitely isn't anything to complain about. Their AYCE option is perfect for first-timers and has tons of selections to choose from. Above all else, Squares' sauce bar is what puts them ahead of all the others. It's nothing fancy, but their sauces are perfectly balanced and complement their broths wonderfully. read more

Sorry y'all I do y have pics, my wife and I met our neighbors on Wednesday night and had a great time. We had the Brussels sprouts and the shrimp ceviche, but are excellent. I tried their tenderloin fajita salad and i knew i was drinking a few pariah ghost ipa's.... I will definitely reorder! T had the trout, a first time for her and she liked it. This is my wife and I first time at this restaurant. When we first sat down we new this was going to be a great experience. Brandon S was incredible not only making us feel right at home. Brandon S was training a new server as well. Brandon S never skipped a beat. As we were having our Cast-Iron Spinach Artichoke Dip which was INCREDIBLE by the way. Mike the GM came by an introduced himself a super nice guy that takes care of his workers. My wife ordered the Gyro Plate with hand cut fries. I had Mamas Meatloaf both were amazing. For dessert we had bread pudding you need to get that. Overall if you want great food and a enjoyable experience you need to go to the Local Table. read more

Been wanting to try out this place and I'm so glad I did! The menu has so many options to please everyone in your group. We started out with the goat cheese as our appetizer. Do yourself a favor, GET THE GOAT CHEESE. It's a great one to share. Next we went with the Baja chicken wrap and the Chicken salad with fruit plate. Baja was bomb, very flavorful not dry, pro tip: put a little of that goat cheese on it and you might just have the best day ever. Chicken salad, very light, not heavy mayo at all. Service was also wonderful as well as the decor down to their napkins. So excited to come back and try more things!! read more

We had an amazing experience! Food was great as usual and our waiter Bryan L was wonderful!

The food was amazing as always. However, when I walked in to ask for a table and asked if there were booths available the manager (I am assuming due to no name tag stating so, female with tattooed arms and brown hair) at the front did not acknowledge me but told the hostess "it's hard to tell" while rolling her eyes. I felt like an inconvenience when I was simply asking due to my mother needing a booth with cushion due to recent surgery. It was also interesting to me that the party behind us who happened to be white were not met with the same attitude when they requested the same thing. The hostess who seated me was nice. Throughout the night the manager spoke to every table around us except our table. At one point she was right next to me but gave me her back the whole time while she checked on the other table. I felt uncomfortable having the manager make continuous eye contact with me; acknowledging that she saw me but never coming to ask how we were doing. I would assume someone in a leadership position would set the example. This is my mother's favorite spot, however we will need to find a new place. I rather go to a place where I can ask questions freely and not have eyes rolled; definitely sours the night when our intention was to come here to enjoy dinner. read more

We ate there today for a late lunch. Really relaxing atmosphere. Open air bar and patio seating. Everyone was very nice. It was busy, staff and management came and checked in several times. We orders lemon pasta and chicken fried chicken. It was all delicious. Portions were just right size. Chicken was tender nice crust. Came with fresh green beans, mashed potatoes, and warm toasted bread. Lemon pasta was really light and fresh tasting. Had capers and lemon sauce. The sauce had a little bite from red Pepper seasoning. Also added shrimp and they were tender and delicious. Was a wonderful meal. Will definitely be back again. read more

I think they tried to replicate the local table in the Woodlands but because of the demographics, it's just not working well for them. They are set in the middle of a family neighborhood, but the ambience suggest that adult should sort of come here for happy hour and unwind, but that's very hard because only families live here right now and this is one of the only places to catch a decent meal. they also have very good drinks and I think they have the local bar next-door but I'm not sure. it's not an ideal place to bring your stroller and bring your kids. It's very grown-up but like I said families continue to come here because it's one of the nicest places to go eat maybe once more restaurants open up it can be more inviting to the adults that want to just eat and chill and have a good drink and bites. I hope that makes sense. The management is good they take care of any mess ups the kitchen has but I do feel for them . I hope more places open up soon . read more

I've been at Local Table twice now in less than 5 days for dinner and dinner IS worth the rave. I went on a Friday night with some girlfriends and I ordered the Trout, so so good! We all ordered something different and they all enjoyed their dishes. Our waitress was Ashley and she was great! We don't go out much since we all have other priorities and we actually sat till the restaurant closed ‍ BUT no one was rude about it or rushed us out. The food/drinks were so good that we spent time enjoying it all. A friend ordered the Brussels sprouts from the starters menu and who knew that Brussels sprouts could be so delish!! We even made room for dessert, chocolate molten lava cake was amazing! I went last night again with my kids/in laws for a belated birthday dinner and ordered the trout again bc it was THAT good. All of us enjoyed our meals, we all ordered a seafood plate and all were SO good. My kids had the new sunshine plate which was Mac and cheese, grilled chicken and veggies. My 5 year old loved it all and my 3 year old didn't care for the veggies. BUT the fact that the veggies weren't taking up the whole plate was great bc he still ate the rest and our waiter was great and brought them cookies. Thank goodness we tried it again, won't be back for brunch but lunch/dinner is definitely an A++. read more

We have come to Local table a few times now, for lunch and breakfast. The service is good, fast, and friendly, and the food is above average, and I think the prices are quite reasonable as well. The ambiance is generally good, but it can be a bit loud at times between the general conversation and the music being played over the speakers. I've only ever ordered food for pickup and have been pleased with how quickly the food is prepared and how well it keeps. Came in today because i have heard it was coming so i thought i would give it a try ! I started off with a you and tequila drink .. 10$ it was decent but deff missing something. Then i bought the beer tenderloin steak on Ciabatta bun with hand-cut fries 14$ Side salad with lemon and roasted garlic vingarette 4$ Now for sure everything i had was not bad but it deff wasn't "blow me out this world delicious i don't care what kind of penny i spend on it type food" . Large portions so most certainly shareable and i will be taking it home . Salad was the best part . The hand cut fries came out a little soggy and that's okay, I'll be taking them home and re heating via the oven . Big portions . Steak was cooked good . Greasy but good , what can i expect i ordered a philly cheesteak lol This is my first time here and the service was amazing so i will be back . This area needed something like Local Table for a long time. When you walk in, the decor is modern and very beautiful. There's some serious Instagram-worthy shots around the restaurant. They have many craft cocktails made with local ingredients. (The frosé was amazinggg). Another way I judge if I can hang at a spot is their martini. Kory made an amazing one. My favorite thing about the bar, however, was the fruit infused vodka and rums they make in-house. They had a pepper vodka, coconut and pineapple rum, and strawberry and basil vodka. The strawberry basil was my fave. The menu is very large with MANY options for many dietary preferences and needs. The food is presented well, came out PIPING hot and it was yummy! We had the Brussels sprouts (10/10) and skillet goat cheese (9/10). Both super yummy and would order again. Already planning my next trip back to try more menu options (including the goat cheese and brussel sprout pizza)! read more

Drove in to town with a television crew full of hungry people. When we arrived we discovered our order had been placed at the wrong location. Mr Miller (I think), the manager on duty quickly helped us sort out the issue and we were able to feed our team of 15 people on time without disrupting our tight schedule. We were all very impressed! This location does not know how to cook French Fries. You get 3 options, soggy, raw, cold, or like this past Saturday you get a trifecta and have each option on a single plate. It doesn't matter if you order in the restaurant or pickup the order. This is not a one time occurrence of their lack of fry cooking skills but an ongoing failure for at least 2 years. read more
