We stopped in here after having a few at Culture because it looked like a cute coffee shop. Well, it is a cute coffee shop. There's outdoor seating, not a lot but enough I guess. At first glance this coffee shop looks super hipster. My opinion was backed up when a customer asked the barista to describe the taste of hazelnut milk and he was desperately trying to hide how annoyed he was. Like, "You uncultured swine, how do you not know how hazelnut milk tastes?" Anyway, I ordered the sea salted latte and I wasn't that thrilled with it. It was pretty thick where it felt like I could almost eat it. It wasn't full of caramel like how that major coffee chain makes their lattes but I just wasn't with the consistency. My bf ordered this big cookie looking thing that he said looked good but it looked kinda dry to me. This is probably a cool place to grab a cup of coffee and catch up with friends, though. read more

Oh my goodness, this is hands down my favorite coffee and tea shop! I'm an avid tea drinker and honestly, a lot of coffee tastes the same to me. However, this place shakes up my taste buds! I ordered the Jasmine Lavender tea (its a black tea, good for caffeine boost) and my boyfriend got the Aztec Mocha with Almond milk. The tea was amazing! It was smooth and had a hint of lavender at the end that was so refreshing. The Aztec Mocha is so rich and the cayenne pepper gives it a nice kick! It's not overwhelming, and like I said, it shakes up your taste buds a bit. I received the Hibiscus Lemongrass loose leaf tea as a gift and if you like fruity teas, this is for you! This place is aesthetically pleasing, you can pretty much post any picture you take here on instagram. Absolutely love this place. Had this a few days ago and I still yearn for coffee this good! Went with the salted caramel latte and it did not disappoint. The espresso was so bold and rich, perfectly pour with pristine steamed milk. Cute latte art on top. I was pumped afterwards! And I'm a frequent coffee drinker. Venue is very trendy. This is one of the cafe's that's a hit or miss depending on what time and day you decide to come. Usually, Saturday and Sunday mornings will be the busiest. However, I did come a few times during the weekday and it was still crowded. My friend and I ordered the avocado toast but ended up waiting for over 40 minutes for the food to come out. Love their coffee and the accessibility of this location. Parking lot, lots of seating (although it's almost always packed to the brim with people), great, friendly service. I love the Salted Caramel latte and the Turkish latte (nice and spicy, not sweet). I appreciate how they thoroughly mix iced lattes with whatever additive you choose. For example, for Salted Caramel iced lattes, the caramel is mixed throughout the drink instead of solidifying on the bottom. Also, the cinnamon roll on weekends is the best cinnamon roll I've tasted. The yeasty dough is fluffy, thick, and full of butter. The icing on top (brown butter honey) is insane. I want to eat one everyday. read more

This is a very nice and pleasant coffee shop. Located just off of Cedros in Salon a Beach. Parking can be tight but there is a lofty coffee lot exclusively for the coffee shop. This lot usually has parking in it but don't worry, you can also find street parking! There is also another lofty coffee just a few miles up the road because you're leaving a review for just FYI. Like any craft coffee shop, expect the coffee to be fairly pricey. But the cold brew is very strong and he Coffee is delicious. There is a nice ambiance about the place, it's a pleasant place to grab a bite to eat or coffee with a friend. On the flip side, this isn't the best place to study of get work done. The last time I went here with my laptop to do work I couldn't find a plug with enough space to spread my stuff out. read more

The latte was smooth and rich and the muffin was like devouring pure homemade heaven. The baristas were friendly and the atmosphere was peaceful and gracious. They were quick with my order and very kind when they responded to my questions. The menu looked incredible but I was in such a hurry I didn't even look at it before I ordered my drink. I was recommended this place by one of my best friends so I decided to check it out while I was waiting for another friend. First of all, the weather sucked when I went because of the storm in Solana. But this made me crave coffee more :3 I ordered flat white and it came out in what seemed like 5 minutes. The lady on the cashier was super sweet and we chitchatted for awhile. Wanted to give this 3.5 but because they had some good coffee, I'm rounding up to 4 stars. (Also because yelp doesn't have the option to do halves..) Few thing I didn't like was they never clean the tables, at least during the hour that I was there, so I had to clean wet tables myself. Have stopped in numerous times since; just changed my bicycle route to a Cedros Ave adjustment. Delicious dark and caffeinated liquids can be had here. The best coffee I've ever had! If I could give it more than 5 stars I definitely would. This location is better than the Encinitas one, just because there's more room to sit, and a more laid back atmosphere because of the slower flow of traffic on cedros. Lofty coffee looks very open and inviting and when you order the baristas are so nice and helpful. You can tell they really love their job, which is so awesome to see! The baristas treat you like close friends, they're very outgoing and always smiling! As for the coffee itself, amazing. They brew Kyoto style coffee which is always a favorite and never lets me down! But I'm a sucker for their specialty drinks because they're so unique and even a simple mocha will taste better than any other mocha you've ever had. My personal favorite is the Turkish latte, it tastes like a beautiful blend of an earl grey tea latte and a coffee. The salted caramel latte is also super amazing and tastes great iced and hot!
