This is about my 20th time to this Logan's. Every time the food and service has been fantastic . This time more of the same. Our server Gigi was friendly, got all of the orders right. I had two friends with me who never been to a Logan's and they were totally impressed. Five stars. Try them and you can thank me later. June 25, 2018 So it's my 68th birthday today. Went with seven friends to Logan's. Kelly my waitress did a fantastic job, all eight orders as requested. I think the cook was Mandy she did a great job on my 14 ounce N.Y. Strip steak. I can't say enough great things about this place I was raised in Chicago and ate out a lot. Never had so much consistent quality as this place. I'll be honest, I have liked every meal I have eaten at Logan's Roadhouse in Chico. However, there is a clear issue with how to manage employees properly. It's absolute chaos. All servers and bar staff are in desperate need of training. Lack of attention to detail, specifically messing up simple things on orders like no mayo, produce on side, no onions, etc. This lack of attention to detail and poor listening skills is consistent among most of their staff. Most mistakes could be avoided by simply reading back orders to customers to confirm they are correct. Truthfully I'm just tired of it. I used to take the family there twice a month, but think it's time to try somewhere else where I'm appreciated as a customer. read more

Visiting Chico and logan's was recommended by the front desk at my hotel. The food was absolutely incredible. I had a ribeye and added a third of a rack of dry rub ribs. The bread was something out of this world. The server, Hailee recommended my selections and she was on point! Overall great experience. read more

Great place for lunch. Our table came with a bucket of salted peanuts in the shell. Husk out the nuts and toss the shells on the floor. Huge menu to choose from: soups, salads, chicken, ribs, seafood, burgers, home made potato chips, and desserts! Fresh yeast rolls came with the meal. Wine and beer on tap. Since it was Monday we had the $8 burgers with grilled onions, mushrooms, and bacon. Excellent as were the homemade chips. Our waitress was Kalee, who provided terrific service with a smile. She checked in repeatedly to make sure we were doing ok. Great food, friendly service, and good prices. What else could one ask for? Hats off to Logan's Roadhouse! We will be back!!! read more

We ordered fish & chips to be delivered through Entre Express. The fish smelled old. It was so strong that we smelled it before we took it out of the box. Not even my cat would eat the fish! The french fries were limp. The cold slaw was very soupy, but it had good flavor. read more

Disappointing dining experience for sure. Wanting mashed potatoes, I suggested that we eat here today. We come every so often and the staff is pretty friendly. We sit and our server comes right over and tells us that "it's happy hour" and if she could get drinks started for us. We opt for water at the moment and take a look at the menus she has given us. We sit for a few minutes and she comes on over and takes our order. I ask her if the wings on the happy hour menu are regular chicken wings or are they "chicken tender"s. She says that they are regular wings. So I opt to order them 6 pieces for 7.50. with Mashed potatoes 3.99. I get back chicken quarters on skeers. I didn't order these and send them back to get the correct order... when I finally got my order my potatoes were gone and my husband had completed his dinner. She sat the same thing in a basket without the skeers laying in a pool of butter. I tried to bite into the wings but the skin was so tough. I was disappointed and politely asked for a to go box. We got the bill and they charged my meal of the two items above 14.00. Now, I know that it's only a dollar and some change. But, it was their error. When I spoke to a different gal about the pricing (I think our server was still new) she said they don't give happy hour pricing on Sundays. WHAT?? The meal I really wanted and should have ordered was the 13.00 but, wanted to save a little $$ and have some "regular" chicken wings. So, please please please make sure that you tell your wait staff NOT to recommend happy hour if it is NOT "Happy Hour". The staff was pretty nice. But, the lack of communication within the business kinda sucked for this consumer. Grilled chicken wing skeers and RoadHouse Wings are both listed on the menu... but are the same thing? I think you ran out of traditional style wings and substituted them with the "grilled" style. I don't know how much more we could have been more clear on what it was that we wanted. And asking if there was anything else you could do for us as we're leaving doesn't make up for the mistake of the establishment. I hope the next time we decide to go back, it's better. read more

GREAT FOOD, FANTASTIC SERVICE! My husband and I went here for the first time on Saturday night. We just moved to the area and saw it from the freeway. So glad we tried it. You get peanuts at the table and toss the shells right on the floor. They have these amazing biscuits which are so fluffy and literally light as air! We had great food. My steak came out well done instead of med rare and they took it right back to make me another. The manager, Jerry came out aplogized and got me some extra munchies while I waited. This is what makes me rate 5 stars. Everyone messes up, it's how it is taken care of that makes you love or loathe a place. I haven't been disappointed in awhile, til now. I ordered a cobb salad w/peppercorn dressing and got blue cheese dressing. I ordered the fried chicken wings tossed with garlic. I couldn't eat all of them because they weren't done. The ones I ate were fatty and greasy. I ordered garlic/parm boneless wings, 1 they looked more like popcorn chicken instead of wings and were so hard they were unedible. So all in all the $40 spent went in the trash. Carnivore's paradise! Had a craving all day for BBQ. Found Logan's Roadhouse in Chico, CA. It wasn't crowded on Sunday evening, so food came fast. Ordered 3 meat combo of tri tip, pulled pork and baby back ribs with cole slaw and grilled zucchinis. My husband ordered sweet potato loaded with pulled pork and trimmings, plus cole slaw side. Meat was absolutely delicious. Medium rare tri tip melted in my mouth. Pulled pork was smokey and jenerously covered in bbq sauce. Baby back ribs were heavenly, soft and fatty on the inside covered with crunchy crust on the outside. Service was excellent. Whole meal for 2 with bread, one beer and one margarita was less than $50. read more

Save your money. Appetizers were very greasy. I could actually squeeze grease out of the onion peels and mushrooms we got. The alcoholic teas were way too sweet and waiter did not offer another drink choice when I told him I didn't like it. I've ordered Logan's through Entree Express twice in the last few months and they've messed it up beyond repair each time. We order cheeseburgers, one medium rare and one well done. The medium rare shows up still bleeding and the well done is burnt. Tonight we ordered a medium burger and a well done burger and they sent us two pieces of patty shaped charcoal, like this shit was so burnt it turned to ashes in our mouths. Absolutely disgusting and we are never ordering here again. Save your money on this overpriced crap, they don't care about their delivery customers at ALL. read more

This place was just "ok!" We started off with fried pickles. They seemed like jar pickle chips. The batter wasn't really thick or crunchy. They were greasy. I would give them a 3 out of 5. The ones at Ruby River in Reno are waaayyy better than these. Ok second problem is salads never came. Waitress finally came back and asked if we had gotten our salads yet. We said no and she went to check. She comes back with salads and right behind her were our meals. Major fail here. My parents got mad and said they didn't want their salads. It was too late. They obviously should have come well before the meals. I kept my salad ( which was REALLY good) and my folks asked for veggie skewers with their meals instead. My dad got a sad skinny looking ribeye and it was well done. He asked for medium rare. Not even close. He pitched a little fit and they re-made his steak. His veggie kabob wasn't hot. My mom waited forever for her side of veggies and finally had to ask again for it. Aye aye aye. So many issues here but lets get to the good stuff. I already told you my salad was bomb. My prime rib was perfect. The baked potato was crunchy on the outside and was salt crusted too. It was soo good I ate the whole thing. Do'uh! Lol. My daughter had a pork chop with cinnamon apples and that was really good. There were some good elements to this meal and the manager brought out the new steak, apologized and didn't charge my dad for it. I thought that was the right thing to do and it was appreciated. I remember coming to this restaurant when it first opened and it was actually quite good. Now? I don't believe I will waste my time stepping foot inside again. I decided to try one of the "signature cocktails", a pomegranite margarita. The server asked if I wanted it on the rocks or blended, and I said however the bartender prefers. He said however I wanted it. I asked him if it was better with salt or sugar he again said however I wanted again. Now perhaps I am a pain in the rear (which is entirely possible) but if you have a "signature cocktail" that would entail that there is a "signature" way to make it. Otherwise just list it with all your other damn margaritas. Anyway, the drink wasn't very good and I wouldn't suggest it anyway. This got the server all flustered and thus began the "experience". We ordered spinach artichoke dip, YUCK! It was globs of stringy spinach in this mixture that resembled egg beaters (color and texture). The flavor was bland...even the spinach didnt taste like much, and was accompanied by stale chips. I ordered chili. This was probably the highlight of the meal (other than the ice water). It was very spicy (probably to cover up whatever concoction they had going on in there) and actually tasted like it should be over pasta. About this time my mother ordered a corona. The manager brought it out and dropped the lime on the table when he placed it down. He said "oops, ha ha" and walked away (without bringing another of course). Well if this is the management style its simply no wonder this place has gone to crap. My daughter ordered a grilled cheese sandwich. Apparently they are unaware of what grilled actually means. There were 3 or 4 people standing around the hostess station 10 feet away playing grab ass while I sat there. I've been to this location many times and had a variety of different experiences from poorly cooked food to deliciously cooked food....but the bad experiences outnumber the good. My last visit was decent. I had a fried cheese and bacon burger along with a side of mac n cheese. The burger was fairly decent but the mac n cheese was cold (this is pretty normal for this location). When the service is slow, it is usually due to being understaffed. The outdoor seating area is probably one of the saddest I've experienced. The tables and chairs outside definitely need to be replaced and cleaned more regularly. Bathrooms are in sad shape as well. One visit, there was a giant flood in the men's room. It was pretty gross. I think most of the faults of this location definitely fall on the ownership. They just don't seem to care. I have noticed a little improvement with the quality of the food the last couple visits. This place needs work but it truly has a lot of potential. I've been to Texas Roadhouse on numerous occasions and Logan's is sad in comparison. I hope they get it together because I would definitely come here more. read more

Came here last night with my daughter and had the most disgusting food and Service ever!!! The waitress was hands down the worst server I've ever had (and as a foodie and someone who dines around the world that says a lot) hands down! She never came back to check on us, never got bread, had to ask twice for refills, had to buss our own table,had to find her to get and pay for check too! She had 4 tables and was swamped because she was trying to do her side work and serve and for this poor girl it just didn't work out for her! Now let me get to the food. I wouldn't serve my dishes to my worst enemy! The filet was like rubber, tasteless, over cooked and tasteless! Did I already tasteless? My husband couldn't cut through filet due to the gristle on bottom of steak, i asked for no tomatoes and I think that just messed up the servers whole train of thought for the night because it was one more task she had to do with just 4 tables! She didn't put no tomatoes. Shocked? Lmao of course not! This place should be shut down for good! I really thought we were on a reality show and they were going to come out and say just kidding the server is an actress and the food was made by a 6 year old kid in the back! No really! If u like food and like to eat, do not go to this dump. I just moved here from San Francisco and with not many other choices here in Chico and us being at the mall we picked this nasty crap! I miss home and the good servers who actually work and care about making their tips, I miss cooks having a passion and not serving dog food to guest. I had a very disappointing experience here a few weeks ago. I went here with a friend and we both planned on getting drinks. He happened to forget his ID, but we didn't think it would be a big deal since he is 34 and doesn't look a day below it. Sorry homie. Anyway, our server went to ask his manager if it'd be alright, considering my friend is an old ass man, but it wasn't too surprising when the manager said no. I ordered a drink anyway since I did have my ID. Here is where it gets crappy. After I ordered my drink, the manager kept hovering over us in case my friend snuck a drink, which he did...at the end of the drink...which consisted of mostly melted ice. The manager hurried over, took my empty cup and threatened to call the cops. I don't know if he was having a bad day, but he was being a huge jerk and definitely not being a professional in his position. We were so embarrassed and offended that we didn't stick around for the food to arrive. Our server was very nice and apologetic, but the manager's behavior was totally unjustified. What happened to this place is an exercise in failure. When it opened many years ago, it was a 4-5 star restaurant. Something happened along the way. It has the signs of being neglected and mismanaged. If it were alive, they would take it out back and shoot it. The food is outright terrible. I can't sugar coat that statement. Terrible. Worst.....Ever..... I went there a few days ago and ordered Chicken Strips, Mac N Cheese, and Mashed potatoes. Not quite the difficult culinary recipe to master, so I assumed decent food. Boy was I wrong. The Mac N Cheese was cold and looked like it was scraped from the bottom of a pan. It was not just cold, but looked like Mac N Cheese you'd find in your sink when you didn't finish dinner and left the dishes for a few hours. Can you visualize? Good. The potato's were terrible and the gravy was cold. At this point, I didn't trust the gravy, if you know what I mean. The chicken strips were the caliber of Denny's. Wait, that's not fair to Denny's. Extra breading to compensate for the lack of actual chicken. Seasoned with tears and bitterness. I got compensated 5 dollars on my bill for the experience. Don't send your steak back!!! They will put a pubic hair on the replacement food. They cooked my daughters steak wrong, she order medium and gave her rare. They gave her a new steak. On the replacement steak, the first piece she cut she turned it over to see if it was cooked properly and there was a PUBIC hair on it! This is was so gross! This is a restaurant that has seen a lot of use. Food is standard, but cleanliness is sorely lacking. Tables are sticky with build up and the bathrooms looked like the hadn't been cleaned in a week-toilets were grimy with a ring around the water line, seat disgusting. NASTY FOOD. I have been there a number of times (against what should have been my better judgement, I'm sure). The dining staff displayed confusion & the kitchen crew seemed even more confused. The kitchen staff appears to be "spaced out". They have a large kitchen window in plain view that anyone can look through to watch them. The food has consistently come out ice cold or completely overcooked. Quite simply put, these people do not know how to cook and they don't seem to care at all. There is such lack of pride in their work & it shows in their product. The (very consistent) problem however, really has to be the management (or should I say mismanagement ?). The last I heard, this place is still owned by the same guy who owns the local Applebees franchise, so, If you've been there, I'm sure you can see the pattern. For the amount of money that you would throw away at either of these dumps, there are quite a few restaurants around town where you can enjoy a quality meal & a pleasant, clean atmosphere. However, if your thing is loud honky-tonk music, patrons who are, shall we say, "tipsy and beyond", accompanied by gut-wrenching food, then by all means, go for it! ...*JUST DO NOT ORDER THE FISH...I kid you not! read more
