Ate here on the way back to houston from Galveston. Ordered moonshine chicken with a salad and a sweet potato. 10 minutes after eating here my stomach started hurting and I started burping dinner. Something was not right! I was a passenger in the car so I tried sleeping it off.. That didn't work.. I got home and threw up dinner. After throwing up, I still felt sick!! I asked another person we ate with if they were feeling okay and he also said he felt horrible. He ordered steak with broccoli and a sweet potato. Meh. The latest addition to the No Man's Land between Dickinson and League City failed to impress. Sure, they offer free peanuts, but to someone who is allergic, it isn't a great draw. The waitress was fine but it took 45 minutes to get our steaks out. The filets were cooked to proper doneness, but were lackluster at best. I did like the option of a baked sweet potato as side. I also tried the cole slaw, it was mediocre. The waitress did apologize profusely for the slow kitchen, she said they were understaffed that night. I was given a ticket that if I activated it online, would be worth a three dollar discount next time I came in . Big whoop. I was a little worried about coming here since the most recent reviewer had such a bad experience, but I was very pleasantly surprised by how good everything was, food and service wise. We got there a little early for dinner, about 4:30 pm, figuring it was going to be busy as it was Memorial Day and Monday (they had a BOGO coupon for Sunday and Monday and Mondays is one of the days they have a two meals for $14.99 special). But we were seated as soon as we got there, which was nice (when we left around 5:30 pm there were people waiting outside the door). As soon as we sat down the girl came by to top off our peanut bucket which was nice and maybe a minute after that our server came by and took our drink orders. She was very sweet and provided the perfect level of service: attentive yet not hovering. She made sure our drinks stayed full and kept us supplied with hot, buttery rolls. Hubby ordered the T-bone and said it was just about perfect. It was cooked exactly like he ordered and his only complaint was that it seemed a little salty, but that could be from our taste buds as we don't use a lot of salt on our food. He ordered fries and a salad and the salad was fresh with plenty of dressing and the fries were good he said even if they weren't real hot. I ordered the Health Nuts Grilled Tilapia which came with a salad with low-fat balsamic dressing and steamed broccoli and it was very good! I love that they offer lower calorie choices (everything on their Health Nut menu is under 550 calories) so I don't feel too guilty about eating the rolls (speaking of, each roll has 227 calories!! Half of my whole meal....but dayum they are good rolls!!). So we were pleased and we will definitely be back! They have a couple of special meal deals on Mondays and Tuesdays and if you join their club online you get BOGO coupons every so often. So yeah, good food, good prices, and good healthier choices makes my kinda place! Oh and yes, you can throw the peanut shells on the floor. You can't talk about Logan's unless you talk about the rolls. They are good, good stuff. Hot, fluffy, add a little more butter and so, so good. As a person with questionable tastes, these things are amazing. The peanuts that you can hull and throw around are part of the 'flavor' of the place, and they do make for a little nice snack while waiting on your food or server. We stopped here on our way back from the beach one week, and got a little tipsy on their cocktails. They'e got Dos Equis on draft, which is ambrosia to my boyfriend. He'll drink gallons of it if he's allowed. (He's not allowed.) Our server, Jerome, was friendly and attentive, and helped walk us through any questions we had. He made sure our food came out right, and cooked properly. My steak was delicous and cooked to perfection. Even the broccoli was delicious. I had given this place one star in the past but lately I have been asking to go to this restaurant. The ribs and steaks are great and we always get the same great waiter. I forget his name but he has long hair that's pulled back, surfer dude! He is GREAT with my son and is very entertaining. For now on when we go this will be who we request! It is a crying shame when a steak house can't cook a steak to order The peanuts on the table leave a trashy vibe as it looks like this place is not swept between customers. The prices are good and the variety on the menu is just as good. Of course, their rolls and cinnamon butter are to die for. I sometimes fill up on the rolls and don't have room for dinner. When I'm not filling up on rolls, we are stuffing our faces with the rockin' onion petals. My only complaint is that they don't give you enough of the dipping sauce. Definitely not a fan of Logan's. I have given then two shots now and both have gotten me mediocre food with awful service. This place has a menu similar to Texas Roadhouse or Chili's with items such as chicken (grilled and fried), steaks, and a few fish and shrimp options. The first visit I got grilled chicken which was extremely salty and most recently a glazed salmon. Oddly enough the salmon was my preferred option of the two. The service from start to finish was lackluster on each visit. I will not return unless it is a recommendation from someone else. read more

This is a place we come to at least twice a month. I just love the rolls! Just like any restaurant it has its ups and downs. Today's visit was just okay. They have happy hour until 6 pm, so I got a margarita for $3.50 and the appetizers were $4. We did get 2 appetizers. One cheese sticks and black bean and guacamole salsa, which I didn't care for it real needed more flavor. It was very bland. I had it changed out for another order of cheese sticks. They were good. I liked the buttermilk chicken which was very good. The chicken was juicy and had great flavor. It comes with two chicken breast.My husband had grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and corn but the corn didn't come until he finished his food. My sister in law got the same as my husband. They both said the chicken was cooked perfect and it was juicy and tasted great. The grilled vegetables were delicious. I loved them and will get them again. Disappointing experience 9/23/20 at the League City location. It seemed to take forever to get our food once we ordered. My boys ordered two appetizers and the chicken strips because the removed the appetizer trio from the menu. The fried cheese was just an empty shell with no cheese left. I ordered the chicken fried steak and it was very disappointing. I would compare this to something that Sonic or Dairy Queen would serve, not a steakhouse. To me it seemed it was just a frozen patty with very little taste. This location has been more disappointing than anything else. We will take our business some place else. read more

I see a lot of negative reviews here and it's really upsetting, because a lot of people are claiming they got "food poisoning" or got "horrible service" or "the food tasted like crap!" I worked at Logans roadhouse for 4 years to pay off my undergraduate and graduate degree, and let me tell you all something; working at Logans I met some of the nicest and the most rude customers I have ever met. I feel like the ones posting such negative reviews were either, wanting free food and didn't get it, ordered a juicy well done steak and wanted it cooked in five minutes to perfection- and the steak took more than 5 minutes and of course it wasn't juicy. Or were mad because they got quoted 30 minutes, but the table they were waiting on was still occupied, which is not our fault. Sometimes customers like to sit at tables after they pay out, just to mingle and that's okay! Sometimes you get a well done sirloin and it's "tough" because it's well done! Sometimes you treat the sever and manager like crap and you don't get free tickets to Disney and free food for the rest of your life. Oh and by the way, I ate Logans for almost every shift and never got "food poisoning". There are some legitimate complaints in this thread, but for the most part they are unreasonable and unjustifiable. There are some things Logans could be better at (just like any other place or anything), but I have had front row seats to the action and behind the scenes, and I promise you this: Logans tries to do everything they possibly can to make your experience pleasurable! Food was okay all the times we went the service is a little lacking though. They are pretty slow. When you ask for something off the menu and they're not really sure what you're asking for. It's almost a twin of Texas Roadhouse. Kind of high in price two. But good taste. But they're not really accurate on how they prepare their steak. Arrived @5:45 pm, was seated @a table that was very sticky to the touch. Hostess came to our table & we asked for a wet rag to clean table,she had a pissed off look when we asked & abruptly left. 15 min later,a guy came & cleaned table and dumped contents of rag onto floor next to my husband.Table was still yucky & sticky. First, I want to apologize to management and staff for showing up with wife just after 3:00pm on a Friday. Upon entering we were not greeted by host/hostess as none were at station. Waiting a few moments I approached bar tender and asked if it was open seating in bar area. I guess it wasn't as he hustled around bar and headed to host station saying is there not someone there to help. Seeing that there wasn't he gathered menus and proceeded to place us in the back corner booth, (as deserved for showing up and bothering him) so only one person can view a television screen. All but one other table were empty. Waitress was very prompt to ask if we wanted anything to drink. Wife ordered a beer and I 7/7. I was informed they only had Sprite so I said fine 7 and Sprite. She quickly returned and said they didn't carry 7 either. Never offering a possible sub, I ordered a sweet tea instead. Now I have been to this location several times and ordered 7/7 and received a whisky and Sprite which is fine. Then again, on those occasions I didn't bother the bartender. We had the Shooms for an app and they were delicious as usual. Followed by two exceptionally prepared steak dinners. I'm assuming it was a manager that approached, didn't intro self, and asked if meals were satisfactory. I said yes but asked about why waitress didn't offer a sub for my mixed drink selection. He then grabbed a drink menu from table and pointed to section where it was apparently my job to do that work myself. Anyway, will we go back? I've only eaten here one time but one time was enough. I ordered a sirloin medium rare but it was more than well done. They were going to make me another one but it took so long I told them to forget it. The sweet potato I ordered with the butter on the side, had a (not exaggerating) a mountain of cinnamon poured in the middle!! There was no way to mix it and no way to eat it. My husband and I have at Logan's here in Greensboro, NC several times a year since 2007 and were horrible disappointed on Saturday night around 8pm. The service was slower then normal and the Steak Salad was not tasty. We both ordered steak salad . I ordered my steak rare and it was served to us about 25 minutes later. My steak was just about as rare as possible and horrible. I am not sure if this was due to the waitress forgetting to get it or the cook ,..it was not even warm on the outside so I sent it back. The manager brought the steak back to me without even offering an apology just asked was there anything else and then walked away! I am not sure if this is an anomaly or the new style for one of my favorite restaurants. My husband commented that even the ranch dressing was watery,...So very disappointed! read more
