I love Lollicup so much! My heart shattered when the one in Long Beach closed down, so this is the closest Lollicup to home. Their popcorn chicken is really good and if you get their popcorn chicken combo you have a choice of black tea, green tea or a can of soda as your beverage, for free. Their french fries are a little bit pricey for just fries...it's about $3 and they're nearly the same size as the portion they give in Happy Meals. On the bright side, their drinks are very inexpensive and they have a 2 for $3 or $4 deal for their boba milk tea. As an added bonus, they even have mini-boba, or as I like to call it-- "baby balls"! They have, in my opinion, the best popcorn chicken and calamari that you can find in any boba place. It's always cooked right, not too chewy for the calamari and doesn't have that sometimes slimy texture that you get when eating popcorn chicken. Their boba is not exceptional, but not bad. There's a little bit of distinct, unpleasant odor in the store itself. Their milk tea is always delicious, and they have a good selection of bobas and jellies. I've tried some of their other drinks but I always come back to plain old, delicious milk tea. Most of their drinks are pretty sweet; their popcorn chicken is so-so, but their meals are decently priced, about $6, and include veggies and ground pork rice. Service is quick, and the place is CASH ONLY. Not a very good study spot though, as I've attempted to do. Well on monday nights around 9:30pm i used to go here for the local car meet up. A whole bunch of tuners, and some muscle cars would show up just to meet up. I don't know it still goes on, but i don't go anymore because it was dying out. Also the cops are always driving by or they wait for some guy to floor it out of the plaza. After an hour of just standing and looking at cars you get thirsty and hungry so i would go to lollicup. It would usually be crowded with all the car guys so it would take a little longer. I had the fried tofu that was pretty good and scolding hot. I had the milk tea here and it wasn't bad. I know i have had better, but i just wanted some milk tea. It's kind of a small boba place so there's only a few tables where you can sit at. There is outside seating which is good if you can't find somewhere to sit inside. read more

The price for drinks are pretty cheap compared to other boba joints. They have the buy one get one 50% for the boba milk tea, which comes out to about $3.50!! If the drinks are too sweet for you, ask for "easy sugar." My favorites are the boba milk tea and the thai tea slush with boba. If you can't decide if you want the big or mini boba, go with mixed boba. Don't forget to grab a stamp card for your drink purchases. As for the food, the yang chow fried rice is pretty good. It comes with a drink, either green tea or black tea. You can ask to substitute those drink to a drink of your choice; you just have to pay the difference. The popcorn chicken tasted decent to me. Reasonable place to get your boba/milk tea fixings on. They usually have a special going on for one of their drinks (like, buy 1 milk tea, get the second half off!). Most of their drinks are a little too sweet and their slushes are a bit watery for my taste, but for the price it's not too bad. The boba here is usually ok. Tastes right, but can be a little bit too soft. I like to get their fruity teas (like passion fruit green tea or peach green tea) with aloe vera if I want something a little more refreshing (but by no means less sweet).
