We have a Breakfast Club meeting every Friday morning and Lone Spur is our favorite place to meet! My fave is the eggs bennie. It's delish and the menu has a 1/2 order so it's perfect for my waist and wallet! Becca and Mike are amazing. We have been eating breakfast frequently at Lone Spur for the last 5 years. The food quality is always excellent and portion sizes are generous. Our experience this morning was exceptional because the service was exceptional. Jonah was prompt, super friendly and polite and checked back frequently. We decided on Lone Spur for breakfast this morning. What a disappointment. No menus only a smartphone scan. Ok, I can deal with that but, the cheap plastic silverware was a no no for me. Really enjoyed our meal, no complaints!! I ordered the veggie Benedict and it was delicious and perfectly cooked, I really enjoyed the country potatoes. Food was absolutely incredible the breakfast here was top notch I ordered the corned beef and hash which I shared with my wife which was very very good it was full of flavor and the potatoes complimented it really well I opted for the biscuit and gravy on the side and that was amazing as well my son had an order of french toast and the star of it was the side of sausage that they gave him that tasted like it was cooked on a char-broiler and it was really really good it's hard to beat a nice good down home breakfast with a good cup of coffee highly recommend this place to anybody in the area and I know I will eat here again if I'm ever in the area read more

Stopped here on our way back to SoCal. Came here for the high reviews, but the food and service was abysmal, coffee was watered down, we had to get our servers's attention for menus, coffee refills, the check....mom couldn't even finish her Eggs Benedict as the hollandaise sauce was awful. 1 star for the edible French Onion Soup. Good place overall. We went here for breakfast during a recent weekend visit. Service was prompt and friendly, atmosphere was nice, food came out pretty quickly. Breakfast portions were large, filling and tasty. Prices were reasonable. We would definitely return next time through town. read more

The waitress was good but the kitchen took a really long time to get food out. Our drinks were mostly gone by the time the food come out. Ordered a Benedict and they had to bring the hash browns out separately,when they did they were so burned they crumbled. Couldn't even eat them. Bloody Mary was good and the portions were large. Substantial breakfast. We had the Chorizo Scramble and Jumbo Breakfast Burrito and were very pleased with both. Service was good . I found it a little disconcerting that a piece of veneer was flopping loose at the end of the table. While seemingly a small thing, I wondered how long it had been there and how nobody could have noticed and flagged it for a five-minute repair...and what details in the kitchen might also be ignored. The service was good, but that's the only postive I can offer. Likely the least enjoyable breakfast I've had. Ordered Veggie Benedict with gritsand Hollandaise on the side. The grits were hard and lumpy. Texture was as if the water, grits were dumped in a monkey dish and super heated in a microwave. Bottom of dish was caked with hard grits. Benedict was cold and English muffin burned. Good thing a steak knife was available, I had to saw the muffin in pieces. Really a disappointing experience. read more

The lone spur café is my favorite breakfast spot in prescott after living here for four years. The service is always exceptional and fast, and the food has never disappointed. I probably come here two or three times a month at minimum. When people ask me for a breakfast suggestion I tell them look no further than the lone spur café , and I would highly recommend the Lawrenceburg café to anyone. read more

Local eatery atmosphere. Had a rib-eye and eggs. The taters we just ok, but the steak was cooked well and flavorful. The handmade grape jelly was top notch. I've eaten here 50 times and love most of their food. This morning I chose the Huevos Rancheros and my wife ordered the large stack of pancakes. The flavor of the Huevos was incredible as usual. The pancakes were as tough as I have ever had maybe in my life. Whoever made the batter clearly over beat it to the point of being almost uncuttable with a fork. We came in from out of town and were excited to find this cafe walking distance from our hotel. Unfortunately the experience left us disappointed. First the wait to be seated. Then once we were seated the wait for food was soo long. I think about 45 mins from ordering to being served. Since we were in the second room we thought maybe they had a rush of people, but upon walking out the entire front of the restaurant as empty. It was baffling why it took so long. The food was sub-par. My daughter took a lot of her bacon out of her BLT, and I couldn't finish mine. It was chewy, like beef jerky. The country breakfast potatoes were deep fried like fries and had a sprinkle of onion and peppers, so small I only got them in one bite. Not truly skillet made potatoes. And the eggs I ordered scrambled were burned black on the bottom and rubbery. The decor seems to be why this place is popular. read more

The atmosphere is so cute and welcoming. Our waitress could of have been a little friendly as she was pretty short and to the point which is cool when it's in a nice way. I asked her what was good here since it was our first visit and she said everything (in a way where it wasn't helpful at all). I ordered the Ruben with fries which the sandwich was good but the fries were soggy. My son ordered a bacon cheeseburger medium rare and it came very well done and his fries were soggy too. It was a bummer because we were so excites to try it. After reading the reviews, we should have ordered breakfast. I would give this place another chance and order breakfast. read more

Really good breakfast, & I'm usually really picky with my breakfast food. My son loves egg sandwiches so I ordered him one here and it was HUGE. The food serving size for the price is great you get way more for your money for good quality. I had a delicious avocado, tomato, spinach, hash brown skillet thing and it was so yummy. They do breakfast great. Lunch not so much. The cheese burger was good. I had Cowboy Chilli. Worse Chilli I've ever had. Tasted like the base was from a can of vegtable beef soup. Chilli is very watery with not so good flavor. Wont order it again. Someone needs to learn how to make Chilli there. It certainly was not Cowboy Chilli. Real Chilli is thick and spicy this is not. we came here for lunch with our kids and it was perfect for lunch. we had a burger and half rack of ribs for the grown ups... kids had chicken strips and a pancake. The ribs were decent and burger was delicious. the pancake was fabulous... really fluffy and light. I tried a bloody mary... totally solid and filled with olives (just how I like it). i'm allergic to egg. i can only eat eggs if it's baked in like a waffle for example. i can't have eggs when they're just plain cooked. i asked our server, his is austin, if i could substitute the egg with something else and he tells me no and they'd have to charge me extra for it. i called and talked to a manager and explained my issues with egg. it didn't seem like he was understanding where i'm coming from. he offered a gift card, which i appreciate, but i will no longer be bringing my service there. i've been there twice and both experiences haven't been the best. i'm truly disappointed :/ read more
