Those who know me know if have a weakness for LJS. So while I was on the opposite side of town, I found a LJS that I hadn't yet visited. This one is mixed with an A&W Rootbeer. There was no waiting in line, and service was fast and friendly. The building was adorned with fish and root beer floats, clean. The fish was delish, but the fries were undercooked. I really love the fish and chips from this place. Actually fish and hush puppies would be more accurate.. I'm form S. Cal and there are only a few Long John Silver's left so when I found one in Fort Worth close to my house. I hav to go and get a really good pour r of fish. read more

The fish is very greasy with no taste at all. Does not come with the little crunchies. The coleslaw was horrible too...way too much vinegar. The place just looks like no one cares. Some of the seats in the booths have tape on the cracks. Not a good experience! read more

Came for the lunch special and ordered the fish and shrimp and the food was under cook and the margaritas on the menu are very deceiving the glasses are tall and long for $10 but when I revive mine it was in a regular glass same glass as the special for $5 Never again , this place of service was very very bad the waitress totally forgot about us and we had to ask the host to help us or get her ! I'm actually shocked I get to write this awesome review for a fast food place. First off I've always loved long John silvers chicken haha but it had been years since I've gone recently I started seeing the commercials and after driving by one today I made the quick decision to go. Normally I don't ever expect much from any fast food place but you know that going in like it's gona be high school kids who don't care and your food is whatever. Well I was pleasantly surprised when the guy at the drive thru actually sounded happy to be there was super kind and friendly in the drive thru and very polite right as I pulled up. The other girl who handed me my water was also so nice! This was awesome to see so shout out to them I wanted to make sure I saved my receipt so I could see his name and it was Andrew C! So shout out to good kids like that working hard and still being polite within the fast food chains. Next I never have high expectations of what my food will be like but was happy to see it looking organized and fresh. Was weary about going to this one. After a review I saw that was two months ago. I hadn't been in a while, but I figured I'd give it a try anyway the lady who took my order was so pleasant and the gentleman who handed me my order at the window was pleasant as well so the review I saw two months ago, apparently that issue has been corrected or the lady did leave after all, that was rude to them. i have a friend who also left a review below, but i'm taking that review and adding into that here with more details on the situation... if i could give ZERO stars i would...i had ordered on doordash and did a family meal that came with 6 fish and 6 chicken and we were missing all 6 of the chicken. so we went up to the store to let them know what had happened. the older lady that was running the drive thru had a major attitude, from start to finish, said it was doordash's fault and they would have to credit us, but i've ordered this before and know that they put all 12 fish/chicken in the same box and everything else that was included was in there. i told her it seemed like it was just waiting on chicken to be added but was missed and then she asked for my doordash receipt like that was going to show her that there was an item that wasn't delivered or something (i did not report that because it was not doordash's fault...). She then told us to park at the front so i did. we waited 20-25 minutes, then decided to go inside to ask about it. we went in and started talking to a team member about the situation and she came around the corner and told me the team member has no authority to hand me the chicken. my friend told her to get an attitude check then she told us "i don't need an attitude check it's my last day now get the f*ck out of my store or i'm going to call the cops" then began to dial 911, then hung up when we walked out (we were already walking towards the door as she was picking up the phone, btw). the team member Jacob was AMAZING he was so helpful and kind he deserves a promotion if not that then a HUGE raise. We should note, there were two other vehicles who had issues with the SAME woman while we were there too... she was pretty much calling us liars or being rude. one of the other car was given an order from her and she swore everything was in there and was rude to them about it, but guess what? THEY WERE MISSING THEIR CHICKEN TOO. what a night ya'll. honestly, i hope she wasn't lying about that being her last day. those team members there don't deserve that energy from her. we never got the name from her because she had no name tag on, and she claimed she was the only one that had the authority to give us those missing chicken pieces, so we implied that she was some kind of manager or shift leader. read more

Really, I have to tell the cashier to wash his hands after cleaning up the trash behind the counter and emptying trash cans, before taking an order and handing out drink cups???? The fish was hours old and the batter inedible. Chicken was lukewarm. Fries were hot but there was more salt than potato!! My boss (26 years of marriage and I know who is boss) and I eat here about once a month, when I am in town. If this had been my first meal at A&W / LJS I would never return. For $14 the meal should have been much better. We will try again in a couple of months, maybe employee turnover will take care of the issues?????????????????????????? We came here for Dress Like a Pirate Day and got free food!! The fish was crunchy and the fries were good. It's fast food so not much to say except it was greasy goodness. The service was excellent and really had no complaints. Will be back next year for Pirate's Day!! read more

Way too slow. Takes over 20 min to get food. The line wasn't even long when I got here.

Over $10 a meal now and smaller portions! I've been eating at LJS and have put up with the ever shrinking portions and often upset stomach. This will likely be my last visit. The chicken pieces were more like nuggets and the prices went up yet again. I ate the smallest piece before taking this photo. Note the chicken piece on the right. Two of my three pieces were that small and the employee said they just cook what is sent to them. The wait was close to 15 minutes and I asked for extra crumbs but did not get any. My "guilty pleasure" stop for the occasional lunch in N. Fort Worth. The food is always hot, fresh and consistent. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is well maintained. They also share the space with A & W so burgers and fries are an option. read more

A&W what can I say, it's not what it used to be. Ordered a Chile cheese, a burger and fries. I'm guessing the hot dog is not meat anymore. it's like a combination of some sort of meat by product, and possible waste rubber bands. I don't recall them being this chewy. The root beer is A&W so they haven't screwed this up too bad. Finally, 3 of the employees were wearing shirts that looked as if they were used to clean up a mess on the stove top and mop up spills off the floor. Worst fish and shrimp dinner ever. Shorted 1 shrimp, Cole slaw was bitter not sweet as normal. Was served ketchup in individual packets, 15 of them. No salt and pepper anywhere. Oh my!!! First and last time eating here!!! Ordered their Papa burger. Man took one bite and wow!!! I guess I ordered salt with a side of burger!!!! I called the store to let them know. Received the rudest workers via drive-thru who not only got my order wrong but forgot my order completely.

I came through here on the 11th, i ordered throug the drive through, and i can honestly say i will not be back anytime soon, I ordered the two 5 piece (2 fish 3 chicken ) meal thing . And the food was okay wasn't as fresh as it usually would be . But when i came up to the window the girl was SO freaking rude . Slammed the window on us, we asked her for sauce and was talking so fast we could even understand her . And we asked for 3 sauces she gave us two, and i didn't know which one was which and she takes to me like i was stupid ! It was so annoying i felt like i was being a bother for asking for sauce ! I asked for THREE sauces . I didn't think it was a big deal, also kept getting the window slammed in my face and getting talked to like i was stupid . I don't go to long Johns a lot .
