    9oz Flo's Filet with 4oz. Lobster Tail
    Jackie D.

Overall, not a bad experience and good value if you're craving a steak but don't want to cook/clean at home or dish out $$$$ for 8oz of meat. I was pleasantly surprised by two things: the ambiance/cleanliness of this restaurant and the bread! The baked potato was also good, just a bit too much salt (see below). Our server was kind and prompt with service. Now where LongHorn can improve: everything was overly salted, especially the rice pilaf. To me, it felt like things were seasoned with 95% salt, 5% other seasonings. Customers can always add freshly grated salt that's provided on the tables, but you can never un-salt it. Next, the lobster tail was quite small and imo not worth the extra cost. We also tried the shrimp, which the marinade was lacking depth. Again, it was worth a shot. It's good value and a more accessible steakhouse for us common folk. Will just ask for less/no salt next time!

Really disappointed in service this time. Took a while to be seen after being seated, then after putting in our order, the food came well before the salads. We were nearly done with our meals when the salads arrived. The server did apologize "I thought someone else had brought them out and you already ate them." She didn't return for a long while so my husband went up to the bar to get another drink and ask again for the waters we never received. Service was sadly lacking this visit.

We ordered online for curbside take away and the pickup process was simple and easy. My steak was tough to cut and almost impossible to chew, which was a real bummer because it had great flavor and was cooked to a perfect mid rare temperature. My husband got the same exact meal and his steak was much easier to cut and chew. The loaded baked potato and side salad that came with it were good. The kids chicken tender meal was so salty that my son wouldn't eat it and the mac and cheese side that we upgraded for an extra $2.99 was nothing special. For the kids drink I ordered a water and was expecting a bottle of water but got a plastic cup of tap water instead, which was disappointing. While it wasn't a terrible experience, I'm not sure we would order take out from here again because there was no way to 'fix' the things that we weren't happy with.

Waited for 20 minutes at a table without any acknowledgement, Drinks were terrible. Steak was terrible. Mac & cheese was terrible (from a box), baked potato was fine (hard to mess that up). All I could smell was the wet kitchen floor and those mats restaurants use. Yes it reeked in the dining area where we sat. The bill was $82 for two "filets" and two drinks. That in itself should tell you something. You get what you pay for.

Great family place. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Dinning area large, open and clean. Never really crowed. Plenty of parking. Prices reasonable for cooked to perfection steaks.

Hello, went back......from 2016 ! And in this case as well, food was great, got my salmon over rice w/loaded baked potatoes, and the grilled Brussels sprouts.....everything was perfectly cooked ,(although next time med. Rare with the steak tips). We must return!!!

we are fans of the Wareham location. last few visits my husband complained about a untidy awful smelly men's room. Last visit was on 1/11/25 he said it was not even tolerable. We did mention this to a worker and he said he would go spray, but there was a problem with one of the urinals. Guest should always have access to a clean bathroom and this happened more than once. We hope correct this problem so hopefully we can go back. .

This was my first visit to a Longhorn, and I'm pleased to report that my steak (an "Outlaw Ribeye") was really good!  To keep it company, I also had a side of mashed potatoes and a Caesar salad; the salad was actually too big to be called a side - it seemed more like a full portion ;-) As a starter, my friend and I ordered the onion ring appetizer to share.  It was decidedly not amazing, but it was AOK.   Service was fast and friendly; our waitress was very helpful - the "Outlaw Ribeye" was actually her recommendation.

My husband and I have dined here a few times throughout the years and have found that this LongHorn Steakhouse is really hit or miss. Our recent experience was a bit of a bummer. We ordered Nachos, Stuffed Mushrooms and Chowder for appetizers to share. The chowder was pretty good, The stuffed mushrooms in the past have been muuuch better and the nachos really fell short. For our entree we split the largest steak option on the menu with a sweet potato and asparagus for the sides. The quality of the steak wasn't the greatest and the asparagus was an odd yellow color which had us question the freshness of the vegetable. The sweet potato was good. You'll enjoy the atmosphere here as the warm lighting really provides a nice relaxing vibe. Our server was very sweet so no complaints there. While this experience wasn't bad enough to where we'd never go back. Hopefully next time will be better if not then we'll definitely have to skip out on dining here.

When we're craving something a little more thoughtful than the standard eggs-and-toast routine, this is where we land. The menu is creative without being over the top, the flavors are usually dialed in, and it consistently feels like brunch with intention. This last visit, however, turned out to be a bit of a mixed bag. We sat at the bar around 1pm, which is our usual move. The service was great. We were welcomed right away and had drinks in front of us in no time. I ordered a draft Blue Moon and my partner went with a glass of wine. Both were cold, fresh, and exactly what they should be. We started with the lemon ricotta donuts. These were delightful. The texture was spot on, tender and light thanks to the ricotta, with that perfect sugar coating. I would have loved a slightly more assertive lemon flavor in the dough itself, but they smartly included thinly sliced lemon rind on top so you could dial it up yourself. A thoughtful touch and a really nice way to begin the meal. My partner ordered the avocado toast for her main and it was as beautiful as it was flavorful. The sourdough had a great chew and structure, the avocado was well seasoned, and the sprinkle of cotija brought just the right salty pop. Bright tomatoes, pickled onions, microgreens, everything worked together. This dish absolutely delivered. I went with the Eggs Benedict Florentine, which I've had before and really enjoyed. Unfortunately, this time it missed the mark in a few areas. First, the poached eggs. The whites were a bit loose in spots and the yolks were slightly overdone. I know poaching can be tricky, it took me a while to master at home, but it was surprising to see the interior more cooked than expected while parts of the white still lacked structure. It was manageable, just not what I've come to expect here. Next was the mustard hollandaise. I was really looking forward to that punch of mustard, especially since I've had it shine before, but this time it felt muted. It was also looser than I prefer in a hollandaise. I love a good hollandaise, even better a béarnaise, and this one just didn't have the richness or body I was hoping for. Then there was the tomato. I understand we're not in peak tomato season, but even so, I can usually find more flavorful options at local markets and grocery stores. It appeared to be a standard beefsteak, and it just didn't bring much to the plate. A Campari or another variety with more natural sweetness and acidity would have elevated the dish and complemented the nicely cooked, flavorful spinach far better. On a positive note, the bolo was excellent. Such a great choice over the traditional English muffin and a perfect fit for a local spot like this. It had great texture and the slight sweetness usually balances the mustard hollandaise perfectly. Overall, Avenue N remains a place we truly enjoy. This visit just didn't quite live up to what we know they're capable of. I'm confident it was an off day, and we'll absolutely be back.

I've eaten my way through quite a few things here over the years, and while there are plenty of good choices, I keep coming back to the Smokey and the Bandit smash burger. At this point, I probably know what I'm ordering before I even sit down. There's just something about that combination that keeps winning. The food here is consistently good. Everything I've had has been fresh, hot, and full of flavor, and the kitchen seems to have that part figured out without making a big production of it. The menu has enough variety that you can come in with different appetites and still find something you want, but it doesn't feel like one of those places with a menu the size of a small novel where you need twenty minutes just to decide what you're looking at. The beer selection is another reason I enjoy Chomp. There's enough variety to make choosing a beer part of the experience rather than simply grabbing whatever happens to be on tap. Prices are also pretty reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, which is increasingly something I notice because restaurant prices have a funny way of creeping upward when you're not paying attention. The location is another part of the appeal. Chomp sits in a great little part of Providence where you can easily make an evening out of being in the neighborhood. There are plenty of other restaurants, shops, and places to wander around nearby, so it doesn't feel like you're making a special trip just to eat and then immediately getting back in the car. Tonight, though, I have to give a special shout-out to Bella, who was our server. She was outstanding. Friendly, personable, attentive without hovering, and genuinely helpful. She suggested adding bacon to my Smokey and the Bandit, which I probably wouldn't have thought to do on my own. I'm very glad she mentioned it because it was an excellent call. Sometimes the best recommendations are the simple ones, and she nailed it. One piece of advice if you're planning on coming here: make a reservation if you can. Chomp can fill up quickly, and given how good the food is, that really shouldn't come as much of a surprise. It's the kind of restaurant where people come back because they already know they're going to have a good meal, and I'm certainly part of that group. Five stars from me. Great food, good beer, reasonable prices, a fantastic Providence location, and genuinely good service. I've tried enough of the menu over the years to know that Chomp has plenty of options, but apparently I'm still incapable of walking through the door without ordering that Smokey and the Bandit. Add Bella's bacon recommendation to the list of reasons I'm going to keep coming back.

The brussel sprouts I ordered also lacked flavor and seasoning aside from the char, and his Cajun fries were so salty they were nearly inedible. After driving from Massachusetts to Rhode Island as a special Mother's Day treat, it ended up being a very disappointing experience, especially given the overwhelmingly positive reviews. We may have caught them on an unusually busy night, but unfortunately our meals fell far short of our expectations.
