Came with family on a weekday for lunch when you get a slight discount on the dim sum. This time we sat in the side room where it was quieter and can still see into the main dining room and the colorful clips running on the walls. We had the HUGE sui mai, HUGE ha gow, Chinese herbs chicken feet - tender, 5 spices taro cake, honey comb taro, and rice rolls and beef stew in sizzling pot. Everything was delicious! Nice ambience, service, and free parking lot in the back.

Took my family here for dim sum and it's become my favorite in the entire 626. I love that they have my favorite hard-to-find items like the almond tea with puff pastry and rice rolls with braised beef. The best part? It's all done well, authentically, and is super tasty. The hao gao and siu mai come in gigantic portions that I ended up having to share in order to try all the items, so they're great value. Of the 10+ dishes, not one was a miss. Highly recommend and this is our new go-to dim sum spot.

I came here for a multi--occasion private party. Cons: The outside looked dated and the women's restroom was beyond disgusting. Pros: The inside was beautiful, our private room was very nice and the food was good. We ordered the banquet menu and all the food was delicious: walnut prawns, steam sea bass, steam chicken, filet mignon, lobster, fried rice, combination platter with sausage, duck, chicken and jellyfish, just to name a few. Service was ok. There is a free parking lot in the back and free street parking.

The dim sum here is HEAVENLY! Nothing was short of expectional, and much cleaner than most other dim sum spots in the area. Everything came out quickly and the staff was very on top of ensuring that tea and waters were refilled throughout the dining experience.

It feels very clean inside--grand and spacious. The service was excellent, and the food came out quickly. Everything we tried was so good. This is definitely a place you should go with a large group to really enjoy the full experience.

This review is for their to-go bbq and dim sum location which is located street-side, not inside the restaurant where the entrance is in the corner. You can park in the Longo restaurant parking lot or on the street. Note: This quick to-go spot is cash only Portions are good and service is quick. The place can get busy during peak hours Wanted to pick up something quick for lunch and Longo bbq was nearby. Inside is pretty typical for this type of food. There's an assortment of veggies and proteins where you can order a ala carte or as a lunch combo plate. They also have dim sum options if you're looking to pick any up. Prices are pretty good, a ala carte runs about $8 I think for a large and 2 item combos are $9-10. Spent $19 for a large portion of fried pork chop (forgot to take a picture) and a 2 item combo with Char siu and roasted pork To be honest, I probably have a better experience with this place mainly due to the fact that I went early where everything was still fresh. Might be different later in the day for food items that may have been sitting for a while. One thing I do like about all of the items we ordered was that they were not overly salted. Some might think it's bland, but I enjoy the light flavoring. The roasted pork was done well, just enough fattiness to give flavor. Same with fried porkchop. The veggies that come with the combo plate was fresh, well cooked The negative would probably be the char siu, where I just think it needed more flavor or sauce. Since it may not have been marinated enough, I wish they would have poured some of the sauce on top of it and the rice to make it more satisfying. I'll have to ask next time I visit.

We sometimes drive from Orange County to get the dimsum here. We arrived towards the end of their service near the 3:00 PM break, and usually, at that time, you're usually getting rushed to leave, but the staff here was incredibly patient and let us enjoy our meal at our own pace. Dimsum we got: Char Siu Sou: This was the absolute highlight. The pastry was incredibly flaky and buttery, and the honey glaze on top gave it that authentic sweet-and-savory balance that is hard to find. Bean Curd Roll: Expertly prepared. The skin held its texture beautifully against the savory sauce, and the filling tasted remarkably fresh. Lo Mai Gai (Sticky Rice): The lotus leaf fragrance was deeply infused into the rice, which was moist and packed with a generous amount of filling. The technical skill behind that pastry work and the overall flavor profiles are comparable to some of the dim sum houses in Guangzhou, China.

The bald man in glasses and white button shirt was a little rude. We made a dinner reservation for 5:30pm and there were a bunch of open tables but he was giving us a hard time when we asked to switch tables and they were all open. Other than that majority of the staff esp the female kitchen employees bringing out the food was really sweet and attentive. We came both for dim sum and dinner and both was nice! Food quality is really good! Came for the king crab at night and that was cooked really well. Parking: free lot in the back

If you want to eat Alaskan King crab, then IMO, then Longo is my hands down choice in the SGV. Prepared 3 ways, deep fried with minced garlic, steamed with clear noodle, and in a cold fruit salad, all 3 methods are divine. Be prepared to pay a handsome sum, but with a party of 8, it is very affordable, and a culinary delight. Highly recommended!

Came here on a Tuesday for lunch with my parents. It was a bit busy, but the wait was under 10 minutes, which wasn't bad at all. We ordered the usual dim sum staples and added one special item, the imperial cold chicken. That dish was the standout. Super flavorful, tender, and honestly the highlight of the meal. Everything else we ordered was solid and hit the spot. The food overall was really good. Ambiance is exactly what you'd expect from a classic Chinese restaurant. Loud, busy, and energetic. You can still hold a conversation, but you'll need to raise your voice a bit. Now the downside. Service was lacking. We had to refill our own teapot and grab our own to-go boxes. No real attentiveness, and compared to other dim sum spots nearby, the service here falls short. Parking is convenient. They have a small free lot plus free street parking, which is always a plus. Would I come back? If someone else suggested it, sure. The food is excellent, but the service definitely needs improvement.

Forced to come here and get dim sums to go because a few of the dim sum only place are closed on Tuesday. Bought three orders sui mar, three orders of shrimp buffs, two orders of chicken naps, one order of tofu skin roll and one order of chun fun. The bill for ten orders came to a little more than $52.00. Not really bad, but it a little cheaper at Dim sum only places. The foods tasted about the same. It is all good. Ray out!

Decided to come here as my friend recommended this spot for its dim sum. As someone who's been to a decent number of dim sum places and raised by parents who were from Hong Kong, we came in with a lot of expectation. Unfortunately this place fell short of those expectations. This restaurant is HUGE but don't fret, there's a big parking lot behind so I assume it gets packed usually. The inside was also very glamorous: high ceilings, decorative tables, and a huge screen showing different Chinese cooking videos. It was super nice inside, definitely good for hosting weddings/private events/large gatherings. My family and I ordered the following items: 1. BBQ Pork Bun 2. Har Gao 3. Chicken feet 4. Sticky Rice Wrap with meat 5.Charcoal egg yolk bun 6. Jumbo shiu Mai 7. Cheung fan We thought the food was decent but not as good as Seafood Harbour. The only interesting dish was the charcoal egg yolk bun as it was sweet and warm on the inside. I thought the shiu mai was a little hard even though it was jumbo, but it didn't taste good. The Cheung fan was also a bit sticky to my liking. Price wise is on the more expensive side too.

First of all the servers were all extremely nice, polite, friendly, attentive and fast. I felt like a king in here. Food was delicious especially the steamed beef tripe W green onion, it was so delicate and flavorful. I wish I had found this place a long time ago.

I heard about their AYCE dim sum promo but that actually made me not want to come because I knew the wait would've been very long, and I hate waiting for a table just to eat. Fast forward to tonight and a suggestion was made to try the $14.88 dinner special at Bistro 1968. Here's my honest review of my experience. * Parking - Self parking behind the restaurant. I came on a Monday night dinner time , and there was only 2 cars in the entire lot. The parking lot was very creepy as it was't too well lit. I could see the kitchen from the structure because the backdoor was left opened. There were boxes and junk littered around the area. * You have to walk through a long hallway from the parking lot to get to the restaurant. There are signs to guide you, but if you're going there for the first time, it could be a bit confusing. * We got there at 7pm and there was only 1 table of customers. I honestly don't know how to describe the decor because it depends on which part of restaurant you're looking at. * Staff were all VERY nice. They gave us free dessert (Egg Tarts and Pineapple Buns) so that was awesome. * Food - I ordered the Fried Fish but it wasn't fully cooked. Some parts were still raw so it had a fishy taste. We ate a few pieces but left most of it untouched. Everything else was pretty much okay except for its temperature - it was lukewarm. Nothing was piping hot except for the steamed Pork Spareribs from their all day dim sum menu. * There were some small gnats that kept flying around and when one actually landed in my food, I just stopped eating altogether. * No alcohol available but definitely not a huge deal. Their staff are so nice that I actually feel bad about not writing a positive review about the establishment, but I really just don't see how I am able to rate it any higher than 2 stars. I don't think I will be coming back.

Service was really fast, got seated quick and they were fast to take our orders which was crazy at first but they were on it with service so I appreciated that. Even the food came out pretty fast. Saw that the Beef Noodle Soup was good so I had to try it, the beef broth was delicious and I love bok choy so they had me at bok choy! Beef was nicely cooked too, I liked it! Dan Dan noodles were okay and it felt like it was spicy peanut butter but still good, just not my favorite. But the pork dumplings (xiao long bao) was YUMMY. It really hit the spot when we grabbed one each and the warmth and taste was delicious. Definitely my favorite! Pork and crab dumplings were good too! I was just too full at that point to have more of it all. I'd say this place satisfied my hunger and I left there super full so I'll comeback again :)
