Gluten free sweet and sour chicken and fried rice
Kristina L.

Our go to place for Chinese food. And if you're gluten free don't sleep on this place. The owners are amazing and can accommodate most items made gluten free.

Such a fantastic locally owned restaurant. Their Hong Kong style chow mein is delicious along with their MuShu. Extremely nice family that owns this place..

Egg drop soup w/ lunch special
Alex S.

So glad I tried the Mandarin chicken. It's really good. I got the lunch special, which came with egg drop soup. The Mandarin chicken is battered chicken pieces covered in a sauce that reminds me of sweet and sour sauce. The chicken was hot and crispy and the fried rice that came with it was also delicious (had pieces of Asian sausages and BBQ pork, which I love). The service is great too. Most of the seats are booth seating and the lady who took my order came back several times to check that I have enough water and that everything was good. Thank you!

Lunch Special - Spicy crispy chicken, chow mein, and fried rice!
Nikki M.

First time visiting Loomis Chinese Restaurant and I was overly impressed with the customer service and food quality. Some of the most delicious crispy chicken, fried rice and chow mein I have had in years. Also, the soup that came with my lunch special was incredible! I've been searching high and low for good, flavorful Chinese and finally found my new favorite spot! Fair prices and a comfortable atmosphere. Will be returning and recommending to friends and family! A+!!!

We just love Loomis Chinese. Loomis Chinese has always been a comfort food for us. Service is always great. A welcoming peaceful environment. Food is amazing.

Loomis Chinese is a true local treasure, and their walnut shrimp is the best you'll find in the area. The shrimp are perfectly crispy yet tender, coated in a luscious, slightly sweet sauce, and paired with candied walnuts that add just the right crunch--every bite is perfection. Beyond the amazing food, the service here is impressively quick, and the staff couldn't be friendlier. The restaurant has a warm, homey vibe that makes you feel instantly comfortable, like you've stepped into a welcoming neighborhood favorite. If you're looking for incredible Chinese food then you are in the right place.

Idk I really like it. I usually order chow mein but I've gotten some appetizers like spring rolls or egg rolls and it's super good.

I was working in Loomis when I was craving Chinese food. This place definitely hit the spot. Wasn't busy with dine ins but that door stayed swinging open with to go orders. I got the lunch special and it was well worth it. Big servings. You could definitely split it with someone else. Slightly over salted but nothing too crazy. Food tasted good. Lots of protein and veggies to go with it. Staff were friendly, greeted you as soon as you walked in. I don't know if there's any other Chinese spots in loomis but this one for sure was good

Outstanding food & service…read more I got here at opening time at 4:30 PM and was seated right away. I had an order of steamed Steamed BBQ Pork Bao and an order of Dry Fry Chow Fun. For the Dry Fry Chow Fun, I had a combination of both beef and shrimp. Both the beef and the shrimp were cooked perfectly and we're both very tasty and tender.. Kenson L what's my server and he was outstanding as well. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the noise it's not a factor at all. There is nice, gentle music playing in the background. There is glass in front of the kitchen if someone were to want to take a look at what's going on in the back area. There are multiple tables for seating of four persons each which can easily be put together for larger groups. I've eaten here multiple times, but this will be the first time. I've actually sat down to eat as I usually just get take away. Will be back? You bet I will. This is some of the best Chinese food that I've had.

We had black pepper fish fillets, honey walnut shrimp, variety soup dumplings, steamed rice, variety baked buns, and bunny coconut puddings. We're satisfied with their fish and shrimp. They're really not oily and overly salty, which is our preference. The pudding is very cute, my toddler son loves it. The buns were good to reheat on the second day. I wish the service here could be a little better, be more attentive or proactive in serving the table. Other than that, they're fine if you need their attention. The restaurant is big and has lots of tables, also, the plaza has lots of parking.

We were seated promptly by our hostess with a smile, and with a "Happy Anniversary", as they remembered. The ambience & lighting was simply perfect, and the 4 Palm Trees inside accentuated our experience, even though they were petrified. The spicy edamame was really good with a kick. The service is what got us and we may not come back. We had reservations 8pm got there at 7:30 was sat very quickly. Was told who our server was and they would be there shortly. After waiting quite a bit server Cynthia finally shows up. Offered water and took order for appetizer. Got waters didn't see her again for about 20 min. Took our order didn't see her again empty glasses didn't have any interaction didn't offer any suggestions didn't have any personality or communication. When food came no one asked if we needed sauces or anything just got food and left. Middle of dinner got informed out waiter was leaving.someone else was taking over. Barely saw anyone our waiter never went home but continued to attend other tables. Some people had their food packed up for them to go I was given a box and a bag and left. Maybe having kids at the table was off putting maybe my husband and I looked too young but the service was absolutely horrible. I have not had an experience like this in a very long time. I did bring this up to management not to get a refund but in hopes another family didn't get the same service. Place is expensive and it was truly hard to enjoy our time. The manager was amazing took the feed back and did comp some of our check. Maybe we will be back but not anytime soon.

I said yes, and we went into the restaurant and noticed the decor and the lighting. After walking in and being seated we were then presented with our Drink options and since we are Pepsi people we chose Pepsi. In that same breath we also ordered Crab Rangoons, aka WonTons and when they came out they were hot and fresh and delicious. The amazement though came when we grabbed our Pepsis they were Ice Cold, to the point where they felt like they were on the brink of freezing. But that was a good thing because it was Ice Cold and Refreshing. We then ordered our food and I ordered the Sweet & Sour Pork with Chicken Fried Rice, and my wife ordered the same entree but with Chicken Chow Mein. The food came out several minutes later and it was hot, and also delicious. So far this is a win for my book because not only was the food good but the friendliness of the staff was also delightful to work with as well. With having to try and find a good Chinese place in the area, its always delightful when you find something that you like and the people at the restaurant are friendly as well. There are plenty of food options here I wouldn't say everything is top quality but for $25 including all you can eat crab I think that's a great bargain. They don't have a lot coming out all at once so you may have to wait or come back to see if it's been replenished. They do have sushi here, but I'll be quite honest, not the greatest quality . Plenty of Chinese food options from calms , oysters, fried fish , beef broccoli, honey walnut shrimp, basically if panda express has it you can get it here. Most of the Asian food is mediocre as I would still choose panda express if I had the option. Service is friendly, definitely a more upscale looking Asian buffet than most I have been to. They even allow customers to purchase a to go box. It also wasn't very busy, so we wanted to give it a fair shot. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill fast once we sat down to eat. The sweet-and-sour soup was extremely oily and had an off taste. More concerning, nearly all of the food on the buffet was cold. The only thing remotely warm was the soup. When we brought it up, the server explained they were transitioning between lunch and dinner and offered for us to wait while they replaced the food. I appreciate the offer, but that doesn't excuse having a buffet--especially with seafood, poultry, and meat--sitting out cold. That's not just unappetizing, it raises serious health concerns. We chose not to stay and eat. Again, the staff was polite, but food safety and quality just weren't there.
