I'm so sad but I think it may be time to hang up my Loqui love and move on. I'm heartbroken. Been coming to Loqui since they opened at Platform and have been a huge fan! I invite everyone there and recommend it often but today was disappointing. Got my usual chicken plate and a side of chips/guac. I didn't check my bag but when I got home I opened what looked like a happy meal. There was barely any food in it! Throughout the years, I've seen the changes - I used to get full off the plates and sometimes couldn't finish eating. This time, it looked like I could scoop everything up with one bite. I understand there's inflation and such but this feels cheated, especially spending $20+ on it. Again, this breaks my heart because I love the food and the staff are so friendly but based on what I saw today, it's just not worth the price for what you get. Sucks. Idk what I was expecting here but I would sum this up as a fancy Chipotle but the menu is limited to tacos or plates of taco meat with portions of rice, guac, beans, etc. I kind of wished they had a sampler where you can get one of each taco, but each one is sold individually as a regular size taco. My friend got the plates but was underwhelmed as well. I don't think I'll be coming back, even though the staff was super nice. read more

My first experience at Loqui was, for the most part, a good one. I loved their unique modern take on traditional south-of-the-border eats. I'd be giving them a perfect 5-stars if they didn't screw up my order. I was visiting friends in the area and they suggested I give this restaurant a shot. Since I love any and all Latin foods, especially Mexican, it was an easy sell. The restaurant itself has a nice modern and sleek feel without being too cold. It's located inside a large shopping center with residencies above it. My impression was that many of those folks local to the shopping center frequent here often. We got our orders to go and when we got back I found out they put cheese on my tacos when I specifically requested they do not. Not the worst mistake, but it would be if I were someone who had an extreme allergy to an ingredient like dairy. Ambiance is great! It's in a cute little inside "market" that has other shops for shopping, coffee and ice cream. Menu is simple and delicious! I got the chicken bowl and it was delicious! All the 5 star review are well deserved. The tortillas are home made, portions are generous (for tacos) and the food is made fresh. So happy we found this place!! My favorite keeps changing! At first it was chicken because you get all of that grilled flavor AND they're always juicy, succulent pieces.. but I had to branch out. So now it's the Pork on Flour.. simple subtle flavors that dance together in my mouth wrapped in a chewy fresh tortilla. Also I can't be mad at the decor, the attention to detail is truly appreciated. You can bring anyone for a quick, casual and affordable meal, that doesn't feel so casual. We visited this weekend. The restaurant itself was very nice with inside and outside seating available. Real basic menu as there were 4 taco proteins: chicken, beef (not carne asada), pork and mushrooms. You can basically choose flour or corn tortillas. We order 6 tacos total, chips and guacamole and a Mexican coke. With tip, over $55. Very pricey. The amount of protein in the tacos themselves was very positive. The tacos were hearty. However, I had big issues with the menu. There absolutely must be a veggie option other than the mushrooms. (If there was I didn't see). A fish option is also a must have that it didn't have. I much prefer carne asada over the beef. Beef had a briscuit texture and flavor. Mushroom tacos had ok taste with some good heat. As did the chicken tacos with some really good flavor. Guac was very good Overall, the food was ok. Not awesome. I think with a little tinkering of the menu (NEED a fish option), we'd go back. As with any new restaurants, they will find their way. Place has a trendy design. There is a structure to park across the street. Food came out fast and service was friendly. Corn on the cob was good but nothing special. Chicken taco on corn was cooked well and had decent flavor. Beef tacos on flour had beans and was OK but it was a barbacoa style which isn't my preference. Salsas were ok. Ok but doubt I would repeat this $20 experience instead of street vendors. read more

The meats are very flavorful (chicken, birria beef, shrimp) and the bowls are good and healthy. The guacamole is some of the best i've had.

I had the beef birria taco, which was recommended by the server. It was very mediocre. I didn't care for the sweet taste of the taco.

Yaaaa another Loqui!!! I love these tacos! They are so delicious...did I say I LOVE THESE TACOS I have been here already 5x...maybe more haha!!! They are also addicting, you have been warned I had the pork on flour, and the chicken on flour. Both were delicious but I was shocked at how fresh and juicy the chicken was EVERYTIME..whaaat! Usually you get chicken and it's this dried out blah chicken but not Loqui chicken! So good!! Pork was delicious it had so many flavors running through it not just a piece of meat in a taco! They layer these with all the fixings and the pickled onion on the chicken was a nice addition! Thank you Loqui for my (numerous) delicious meals! Fan for life! read more

Food is always very good. Service can be a little slow but mostly just at peak times, but workers are very communicative and friendly.
