We wanted something fast-casual that still felt healthy, thoughtful, and genuinely delicious. Vibe / Space: Located in a shared space with other shops and eateries, it's airy and relaxed with plenty of indoor seating plus a large patio. Easygoing, neighborhood-friendly energy. Order / Standouts: The mushroom bowl is a standout. It's earthy, satisfying, and perfect with all the sides (beans, rice, guacamole). Don't skip the seasonal cantaloupe drink--refreshing, lightly sweet, and clearly made with care. Service: 10/10. Warm, kind, and generous without feeling rushed. Good For: A quick, casual bite when you want something nourishing and high quality. Price / Value: Expect ~$20+ per person for a bowl and a drink, which feels fair given the freshness and execution. Parking: Paid lot across the street (first hour free) plus free street parking nearby. The area feels safe and walkable if you need to park a bit farther. What It's Known For / Buzz: Loqui has a loyal following for its produce-forward bowls, house-made tortillas, and rotating seasonal beverage. Pro Tip Always ask about the seasonal drink--it's worth it.

The eloquence. The locquaciousness. The absence of locust. It's all irrelevant as it regards finding groovy Mexican food. LOQUI brings it. We had a couple of BOWLS: Chicken and pulled pork. The meat was well-seasoned and reasonably tender. Nice combo of guac, onions, that cojita cheese often found on Mexican dishes, plus tasty pinto beans. The CHIPS are killer; crunchy and hot. I had to kinda look for this joint; craftily tucked away into a corner of the Market area - just south of the theater. When presented with paper bowls, plastic forks and chuck-it-yourself serving trays, I tend to shy away. I didn't prejudge it though and was glad I didn't...this was a good, quick and quality meal for a decent price. Factor in that they offer a couple of options of BOTTLED ICE COLD BEER and this was a winner.

Yum! Loqui is a cute Mexican restaurant located in the busy Runway Playa Vista. Its aesthetic is very modern with bold accents. I love the bright orange marigolds strung around the restaurant. Their menu is pretty straight forward offering tacos, bowls, sides, chips and beverages. Even though the menu is straight forward, they do offer some unique types of tacos and bowls. They have an achiote chicken, mushroom, pork conchita and more! I got the achiote chicken taco and a pork conchita taco. The tacos are big, stuffed with goodness. Both tacos were delicious; full of flavor and fresh ingredients. I would come back to try their spicy garlic shrimp taco and their beef birria taco.

This place is alright! It's inside of a food hall, that's part of a plaza that has restaurants, shops, a movie theatre, a grocery store, and medical offices. The entire area is nice, but be warned that the parking is quite expensive in the attached structure, with not many options to validate. The food is good quality, but not that flavorful. It's on the pricier side, and I wouldn't rush to return, but I'd say check it out if you're already there. :)

Love Loqui. Fresh ingredients, food's always made and seasoned right. Love their agua frescas. One of my go-to spots in Playa Vista.

Food was great service was excellent very friendly and parking get validated at cvs or somewhere else because they no validate but my score is 10/10 I will be back for more

We were attracted by the bigger than average size tacos on Google and decided to give it a try. We ordered four kinds of tacos including: - pork cochinata (very spicy) - beef birria (a bit spicy) - achiote chicken - spicy garlic shrimp (a bit spicy) Overall I like the shrimp most followed by the chicken. They are not as moist as beef or pork but I likes crisp and clean flavor complimented by shredded veggies. The other two meats are full of juice and can be greasy if you are not into fat. The portion size is ok. $7 per taco is definitely in the expensive side but hey this is playa vista. The flavors are a modern take on the taco. If you are looking for legit down to earth traditional tacos, this place is not for you.

I had a wonderful experience at Loqui this past weekend. Tucked inside the Runway Marketplace, Loqui has indoor and outdoor seating available. We sat outdoors which made for the perfect Sunday atmosphere. The service was great! Kind employees and a quick turn-around. I ordered the CHICKEN TACO and split two BIRRIA TACOS. I loved both of them! The chicken had a kick to it, and the birria was rich and incredible. You HAVE to try their flour tortillas-- thin, crisp, and perfect. I am so excited to come back!

Ate here over the weekend before seeing a movie. I ordered two chicken tacos - they were very filling! Good flavor, a little spicy, which I enjoyed. Service was fast. They had a long line to order but it moved quickly and the tacos came out fast. They have indoor and outdoor seating, tucked into the shops at Playa Vista. It was nice to have a quick healthy food option instead of a sit down meal at the surrounding restaurants.

Loqui is one of my favorite go to quick meals. Everything I've gotten is good and the price is so reasonable. My usuals is the chicken plate with chips. Parking is easy (street or in the structure)

One of the main reasons we've always enjoyed coming here is for the live mariachi performances, which my mom ABSOLUTELY loves. Sadly, this visit just didn't feel worth the extremely inflated holiday pricing. At $75 per adult and $40 per child (drinks not included), our bill came out to over $600 for 7 people and only one alcoholic beverage was ordered. That would maybe feel justified if the food and service matched the price, but they did not. The food lacked flavor, arrived cold, and the service was noticeably poor. Our waiter seemed irritated anytime we asked for anything, which was surprising because we've never experienced that before (could be that gratuity was automatically added to the bill). And to top it off, the mariachi performance lasted far less time than expected, maybe 45-50 minutes at most, when that's honestly the biggest reason people even go, especially on Mother's Day. It's unfortunate because we truly enjoyed our previous visits, but this experience felt more focused on maximizing holiday profits than creating a quality dining experience. I'd still maybe consider returning on a regular day (for the performances solely), but I would definitely avoid holiday pre-fixed menus/cost events in the future. Giving it two stars because of the Mariachi performance.

So here I am four days later to enjoy Taco Tuesday! Taqueria Chihuahua is a colorful spot on Sepulveda just south of Braddock in Culver City. Upon entry, I was greeted right away with a friendly "hello" and walked right up to the counter to order with a bright smiling face ready to take my order. The tacos were good, though I'll rank the Al Pastor over the chicken (the chicken was juicy and flavorful, but man the Al pastor was something I special). The taco shell was perfectly crisp and crunchy, generously packed with flavorful shredded chicken, fresh lettuce and cheese and drizzled with red sauce. I was very pleasantly surprised they had a small bag of chips included in my bag, which these days are usually extra, but were included (thank you), I love when you get chips to scoop up all the cheese and taco fallout! The red salsa was ok, a bit more like hot sauce but good and Smokey. I will be back for the Al pastor tacos (probably this week) and can't wait to try the potato tacos dorado!
