This place is AWESOME. been coming here for years. haven't been here since before pandemic. But the food tastes exactly the same. One of, if not, the best carne asada burritos I've had. The chicken tacos are also really good. It's shredded chicken (which usually is dry). But it was super juicy Haven't seen recent menu prices posted here...so here are the latest in 2022

Best Breakfast Burritos in the South Bay

OMGoodness... local small business with the best OUTSTANDING & delicious authentic Mexican take out. Located in Redondo Liquor & Deli (also a great place to shop). We go there at least twice a week for breakfast burritos (I love Phanny's and these are even better, believe it or not). I go almost everyday for fantastic fresh brewed coffee. Best of all... supporting local business helps define our community and keeps it strong. Thank you Miguel & Veronica

This is a nice deli with great service providers located inside of the Redondo Beach Liquor Store, which is spacious. This is a place to pick up food, not to find a place to sit down and eat as a "dine in" option. But, luckily, it's walking distance to the beach and if you go to the "Alphabet Avenues" (i.e. Avenue C, etc.) you'll find areas to sit up top, or if it's a nice day, you can even walk down to the sandy beach area. The food here is good, and you can get lunch for under $6. The food is of good quality as well as quantity. I've tried their burritos, both the carnitas and the ground beef. I look forward to trying other menu items as well. I've not found a signature item that I flat out recommend yet, but am enjoying the adventure trying something new every time, and have yet to be disappointed. During lunchtime, it's not too crowded and there's parking in the front as well as the surrounding neighborhood area, so it's really convenient. So, if you're really hungry and on the go, with limited time and $10 or less, you should stop by here and give it a try. OH... Transactions are CASH ONLY, do be prepared with Paper, not Plastic. There are Banks with ATM's all along PCH, including a Chase and a Wells Fargo at the Torrance intersection of Pacific Coast Highway nearby. You can support the liquor store too by buying added snacks (chips, candy, packaged goods, etc.) as well as beverages, and they have a nice selection to choose from too, not just alcohol, but sodas, soft drinks, bottled water, etc. The liquor store also sells lottery and lotto tickets, if you're feeling lucky too!

The staff are always nice & quick service.

Hole in the wall type place near the pier inside of a liquor store but believe me this is the best you'll find.

Everything tasted incredibly fresh and perfectly seasoned. We ordered the carne asada and carnitas, and both were amazing. The meat was tender, flavorful, and not fatty at all just perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. My daughter had the bean and cheese burrito with rice and beans and loved it too. They bring out three different salsas with the chips, and each one had its own unique flavor. You can tell the chips are house-made because they're fresh, crisp, and just really good. Some Mexican restaurants can make things overly salty, but everything here tasted balanced and fresh. I also had a Paloma and it was made perfectly. Before we left we decided to try the churros and I'm so glad we did. They were filled with this amazing cream and came with a caramel sauce for dipping. I'm not usually a big dessert person, but these were seriously incredible. Great location, great service, amazing food, and everything tasted fresh and well made. We will definitely be back!

They immediately bring around chips and three types of salsa, which is such a nice gesture to still get at some places. The service was great, they help each other. We tried the quesadilla trio, the street corn, and a number of different tacos. The food was really good, there were some that I liked more than others but definitely a solid place for authentic Mexican

Prices are reasonable, and the views are as good as they get with unobstructed views of the harbor all the way to Palos Verdes. The restaurant is clean, new, and TVs with sports even in the dining room (perfect for watching World Cup matches while dining). The only critique I'd offer is I wish they didn't use the end pieces of the loaf of bread for french toast--made the pieces tough. But the other breakfast items were great, as were the salsa, guac, and tortilla chips. What a gem to have in Redondo, especially for it being reasonably priced and accessible (wasn't a problem getting a reservation). Hope this place can stay busy enough to stick around for a while.

Our server was friendly, attentive, and did everything possible to take care of us. The person in charge was also attentive and responsive throughout our visit. Unfortunately, the kitchen could not keep up with the holiday crowd. We waited over an hour for our food to arrive. When it finally came, my avocado toast was extremely soggy and appeared to have been sitting for quite some time before being served. Other meals at our table were either overcooked or prepared incorrectly. The experience was so disappointing that, for the first time in my long adult life, my family left the restaurant without eating our meal. The waterfront location and harbor views are beautiful, but the excessive wait time and food quality issues overshadowed what should have been a special Father's day celebration. My son-in-law is a wonderful father and our family wanted to celebrate him on Father's day. We will be celebrating Fathers Day next Sunday at our favorite diner instead.

They also have plenty of TVs to watch the sports games so whenever the dodgers are playing, they have a decent crowd. They have a small parking lot but there's only 3-4 reserved restaurant parking spots so you'll probably need to park on the street. They bring you free chips and salsa. I ordered a skinny margarita and the shrimp tacos. I always am scared getting a skinny marg because it is either super strong or not good but this one was the best I've had in a while. The shrimp tacos were yummy! My friend wasn't a big fan of them because they were too wet and didn't have enough crunch. The prices are good too. It's hard to find a place where you can order a margarita for $12 now a days. The servers were super welcoming and attentive. All around top tier service here! This may be my new favorite Mexican restaurant in redondo. Highly recommend!

It's like an artist's palette board with four earthy mole colors. Mole Rojo, is an auburn blend of chilies, nuts, chocolate, and spices. The enchilada's corn tortilla is wrapped around my favorite filling, tender and juicy carnitas. My favorite mole is the Mole Negro, black as the nighttime sky with a deep smoky and sweet flavors. The dry chilies, sesame seeds, nuts, Oaxacan chocolate, and herbs provide a velvety sauce for the chicken picadillo. The darkly hued Mole Coloraditos has a little bit of a spicy kick from its toasted chilies, nuts, sesame seeds, chocolate, tomatoes, and spices. It's hard not to use the shredded beef enchilada to swab the plate clean. I would seriously lick the plate clean if I was at home. OK, the last one isn't a mole. The Salsa Verde is tangy from its tomatillos, green chilies, onions and garlic. The crumbly chorizo and cheese enchilada is comforting.
