We came for their $5.99 AYCE pizza and salad bar (which by the way is a crazy good deal these days) and it did not disappoint, if anything we were surprised by the number of options in the salad bar and pizza selection. My husband and I were visiting best friends and found this pizza place downtown. When you get in it doesn't look like your traditional pizza place. It gives a bit Mexican vibe We ordered our pizza to go and seriously it was one of the best crusts we ever had. It looks like they have a pizza buffet on weekends. But we didn't try it. Somehow, the crunchy pizza crust is much better than if it were a pie crust or cookie crust. Delightful little pizza shop right across the McDonald's. The interior consists of a few fold-up tables, a few roll-away tables, and a few bought-at-auction vinyl-sided booths, along with some random sports memorabilia and a few really outdated amusement games. The service was fine: order at the counter and the pizza is brought to your fold-up table (seriously) when it's ready. It comes to the table hot and freshly made. The pizza itself is decent--nowhere near the best I've ever had, and far from the worst. It seems to be a family owned business, and the prices are extremely reasonable. We got a regular pizza and a cheese crust pizza, which is pretty much a stuffed crust pizza. Though it was pretty good, you would be okay skipping it if you aren't a huge fan of cheese, and it does harden quickly, but I still felt it was worth. The garlic breadsticks were also nice and not too oily. But the people there were super nice, and I am not really sure why there are any bad reviews in the first place which almost made us try to go to a different place. As I entered, the teenage cashier stared at me while she finished her last bites of pizza at the register. I greeted her as there was an awkward silence as I was interrupting her meal. After she finished eating, I asked her how she was doing and she silently stared at me waiting for me to order. After the initial awkward encounter, I ordered my pizza and brushed off her emotionless attitude. I would rate the pizza a solid 6.9/10. Good location, plenty of tables, couple of TVs , and a nice salad bar. Customer service needs some work but in the end, I came for the food and not the service. They made a veggie pizza for me on the buffet and had a good selection of meat/combo pizzas too. Salad bar was not glamorous but had really fresh carrots, broccoli, tomatoes, peas and other veggies. Heck they even had cottage cheese and canned peaches--delicacies from my childhood. Come here for the fresh, cheap eats and not atmosphere or fine cuisine.
