We came for lunch, ordering a deep dish gluten free pizza, fried ravioli, and chocolate cake. Everything we ordered was amazing! The gluten free pizza was amazing. The cake was heaven. I wish I could eat here everyday. The gal working was so sweet and kind. She was so helpful! The restaurant itself was big with lots of seating and clean. Their carry out portion was spacious and convenient. I loved Lou Malnati's and will definitely be back!

My husband was craving Chicago deep dish pizza so we came with my in laws on Friday night to get some pizza. We had a reservation for 6:30 and were seated right away!! We ordered the malnati salad, calamari, and deep dish Chicago classic. The calamari was pretty good - nothing to write home about but was crisp! I was surprised at how much I liked the malnati salad. The crispy salami bits were delicious and added a crunchy salty bite that paired perfectly with the sweet and acidic vinaigrette. The Chicago classic deep dish was heavy - I could only eat one slice! My husband and FIL thought it was delicious and don't get me wrong - it was tasty but not my favorite pizza. Next time I might opt to try one of the other pizzas!

Good Chicago-style pizza in a family atmosphere. It was tasty and very filling for a medium pizza. Cutting it yourself is kind of fun. But I think I prefer NY-style pizza, where the cheese and sauce form more of a unified layer that stays on the crust.

My husband and I celebrated our big moments (dating anniversary, engagement celebration, job promotions, new babies, etc.) at the downtown phnx location. We followed our favorite bartender, Sam, to this location. Food and service is exceptional!

We were going to come for happy hour at 5:30 however our plans changed so we showed up at 2:30 for a late lunch. We ordered the large Buffa-Lou wings, well done. It still seems really expensive $19.35 for 12 wings. They do give you a monster amount of sauce (2 ceramic containers with probably more than 4 ounces in each) of either ranch or Gorgonzola to go with it. Good thing we ordered them well done because they would've been flabby otherwise as they were really not as crispy as we had hoped. They did taste good. The place was pretty empty and they didn't have enough servers to clear off the tables so it was kind of gross sitting there with several uncleared tables near us. That's what happens between lunch and dinner so we probably can't really complain too much... it just gives you a weird feeling that's all. The place does have an odor that reminds me of restaurants that have carpeting. Not sure why since it doesn't have any carpeting in it. The ladies bathroom sink had two clogged drains and I let the server know so I'm sure they've cleaned it by now. We are big Lou's fans from Chicago however there are so many changes happening with the infusion of venture capital they received that it's a little sad as it no longer feels like a real family business anymore even though the Malnati's are supposedly still there and "in charge."

does it look like extra cheese & sauce? nope mostly crust.

I ordered new years eve. I ordered at 4:30 and waited until 5:40 for my order. I spoke up multiple times about this. One of the kitchen managers said the pizza has been sitting since 4:56. I have been sitting in the lobby since 4:30 When I opened the pizza box it was a little burnt from sitting, hardly and sauce & cheese with hard crust. I ordered extra sauce & cheese. Manager would not remake the pizza. Awful location to get pizza from. I want my refund or new pizza credit. I will only order from now at Glendale instead. I'M SO DISSATISFIED!

First let me start with the good, setup is a great atmosphere and TVs all over the place to watch a game. Wings are good forgot to snap a pic of that. Pizza well requires a special level of fun. My group said some of the deep dish dough didn't taste done. Pepperoni pizza would not rave at all about. Now the waitress they serve you the pizza leaving it off the table and then walk away. When I wanted a second piece I had to get up and serve. Why put it away from me? Either way very much an ok eat.

Was in Phoenix area for business and noticed that Lou Malnati's pizza was available . I love to eat there in Chicago so was ready to grab some pizza. The pizza of course does take a while but it well worth the wait. The sauce was delicious and the famous Chicago deep dish was cooked to perfection. The butter crust added extra flavor to an already outstanding blend of cheese, pepperoni, and sauce . Eating a tasty deep dish in the middle of the desert was the last thing I would think about but I loved every bite of it .

Our first time at Lou Malnati's Pizzeria! This Chicago-based pizza chain is known for its Chicago-style deep-dish pizza. Unlike traditional pizzas, Chicago-style pizza is layered with cheese first, followed by toppings, and then the tomato sauce on top. The crust is thick and buttery, rising up the sides of the pan, creating a deep well for the toppings. We chose the Malnati's Classic topped with Italian sausage, vine-ripened tomatoes, and grilled onions. My wife tried the bow tie pasta with meat sauce and a side Caesar salad, part of their $9.95 lunch specials. They also have a $5.00 happy hour from 3-5:30 PM M-F, which includes individual size pizzas, drink specials, and appetizers. The Scottsdale location is beautiful inside our server was friendly attentive a gave us a great cheese pull when serving our deep-dish pizza we really had a great experience and plan to return soon.

    A wasteland of pizza.

Many a pizza places I've been. MANYYYY a Chicago style deep dishes I've devoured in my time. Lou's rocked... my... world! First off the BBQ wings were from a different planet and sprinkled with magic dust or somethin... idk, but DAYUM. So good. So tender. Delicious. now, the pizza. Got a deep mushroom..... first bite, I almost dove in head first. Needed a band of body builders to pull me outta that sauce! The CRUST!? Good gawd! Crispy but not burned. Enhanced the cheese and the sauce to the max. Also Sam, was our waiter. And he was amazing. Very thorough and attentive. 10/10 would recommend.

Great pizza. Lou with sausage. (Sausage Adds slightly a harder crust due to longer cooking time) lots of cheese in the Lou Highly recommend Bill the manager and Lisa the waitress the best. Highly recommend this location

I enjoy their pizza when it comes with the toppings in the crust, but I've ordered delivery 3 times, and each time the pizza has been delivered with some of the toppings off. The pizzas we received this time was the deal breaker, and unless I can physically go in to dine in, I won't be ordering pizza delivery from Lou's again. Our pizzas looked like they'd been carried on their side with half of the toppings off the crust. The crust was so soggy where the toppings had fallen off it just disintegrated. They use DoorDash to deliver their pizzas--maybe it'd be a better experience if they hired actual drivers as employees, but as it stands now, I wouldn't recommend.

Another 5 star review! Got the hot honey pie and malnaltis salad! Both were fabulous but I forgot to say dressing on the side for the salad, there was too much but that's my fault. Pizza was bomb as always thank you'!

I got the peach cobbler cupcake, which was almost $7, and for that price I was definitely expecting more. The texture was honestly so strange. The outside was dry and crumbly, while the inside had this really dense, gummy/doughy texture. Somehow it was dry and doughy at the same time. There were actual pieces of peach in it, but I could barely taste any peach flavor. Overall, it just didn't have much flavor at all. I'm not sure if it was specifically the flavor I chose or if it's because I'm not really used to vegan baked goods. I can definitely appreciate that they offer options for people who are vegan, have allergies, or have certain dietary restrictions and still want to satisfy their sweet tooth. But for me personally, the taste and quality just didn't justify paying almost $7 for one cupcake. The customer service didn't really help the experience either. Since it was my first time, I asked the girl at the front what their best sellers were and what she recommended. I was genuinely trying to make conversation and get some guidance on what I should try, but she wasn't very helpful or engaging. It honestly felt like I was talking to a wall. Overall, it's a cute spot and I appreciate what they offer for people with dietary restrictions, but between the price, texture, lack of flavor, and customer service, it just wasn't for me.
