This place does two things right: Great Chicago thin and Beef sandwich! Wish the location was a bit larger to accommodate family dining, but only a few tables inside. Pizza: While it's a chain and each location is independently owned, we have found this one to be the best in the Valley. Only competition would be out in East Valley. Beef: Whether you go old style dipped or the Cheef, you can't go wrong. Only issue is that fries dont travel well whether delivery or carryout. Overall: Great place for thin crust pizza. They also have daily lunch specials, which they dont have listed on the site. Next time I am in, will have to snap a pic and post. read more

Each of these Rosati's are independently owned and operated. Some do a decent job while others struggle to get things right. This particular one has to be one of the best in the country. The pizzas are perfectly done. Delivery is fast and the food is hot. And they just introduced a new item...Fish & Chips. You wouldn't think a pizza joint could compete with that dish, but we love that meal and had to give it a shot. This was better than any of the other restaurants we've tried over the years. So glad we can get it from a place we already like. read more

Food was great. Perfect for our family celebrating dad's birthday everyone had a great time and it was nearly effortless to host.

Being raised in Illinois, how wonderful it was to find a Rosati's while staying with friends in Scottsdale while awaiting the closing of my home up north. We were also happy to see that they had a few little tables to sit down and enjoy our meal. Decorated ever so cutely, I found this place to be an upbeat, happy place. The very nice lady at the counter, Allison, told us about all the specials, and was able to assist us in making our selections. She is the best!! Awesome customer service skills, and knows her business. Her son, James, also assisted by bringing our food out. He was just as kind and considerate as his mother. The food was piping hot, and very delicious! We had pizza, wings and mozzarella sticks. All of it was awesome!! I had seen that there were cannolis on the menu, and my husband had never had one- ever. I think Allison had heard our conversation and came out with a cannoli for each of us towards the end of our meal. What Allison didn't know is that it was our 25th wedding anniversary today. What a treat! Even though we don't live in the area, our friends do- so, we'll be coming down to visit them- and of course take them out for pizza at this Rosati's location. Wow, this little treasure is tucked away on the corner of Hayden and Thompson Peak. I had no idea that this location existed or that they make everything with fresh high quality ingredients. The food was more of an Italian restaurant quality. This small place is worth a try if you are looking for high quality Italian food and a good price. Usually if I am going to review a restaurant, I will give it 5-Stars. I prefer to reward great spots, and the food is always quite good at Rosatis. But, I can't give top marks, because literally every time we pick up food from there something is wrong with the order. A few weeks ago, the "Cheef" (Italian Beef with cheese) was missing cheese and peppers. I called and they made everything right by giving us new sandwiches, but I still had to drive back to the restaurant. Tonight, we ordered a pizza and another Cheef. I made sure the sandwich had cheese. I also ordered extra au jus and sides of hot and sweet peppers. I failed to make sure about the latter items. Note, they give you your food in a brown bag stapled closed. Got home and no extra sides that I paid for. I called again to note the missing items. They again apologized, gave me a credit, plus an additional $5 towards a future purchase. Next time, I'm opening the bag at the restaurant. The food was good. I just wish they had some better quality control. read more

For those who know, Rosati's has the best Tavern style, thin crust, pizza in Chicago, and elsewhere. Some Rosati's are better than others. This is among the best. I wanted to love this place, people, food (pizza), and systems. I don't. Quick to order on MyRosati's and straight forward - except the "Create an Account" doesn't work on an iPad, so had to move over to the PC. ...and never did get a single notice / text as to the status or completion of my order, although I had signed-up. The PLACE is easy to find in the Grayhawk Fry's shopping center. But it is only tiny place for either pickup or delivery. The counter person was friendly and offered the usual parm cheese and pepper packs. So far, I'm rating this 4...they could do better in their systems. PIZZA, not impressed, unfortunately. LOTS of sausage on one and good amount of pepperoni on the other. But nothing like the pictures they posted showing-off their large slices. AND what's with that? The sell slices, but butchered my 2 pizzas into some 24 pieces each. Nowhere in the ordering process does it allow you to decide. Ok, minus another point for systems. I'm not really a fan of that heavy, muddy robusto sauce, and prefer a more pizza-oriented, lighter sauce; but that's my preference. But my wife and kids weren't impressed either...and there's lots leftover. Maybe it's time to get out of the 60's and into a more modern sauce recipe. When I picked up my pizzas, 29 minutes after ordering, the two pizzas in boxes were sitting on a wire storage shelf; no heat or coverage to ensure they were kept warm. By the time I got them home, they needed reheating. I'm sure they were ready for pickup in 15 minutes (nothing else happening In the place, and no other obvious orders). And no text to tell me they were ready early (ordering system said 25 minutes). It's a 14 minute trip each way for me. Hopefully an off night. Sorry Uncle Ron, but someone needs to step up. There are a lot of pizza-wings-pasta places out there that are better. And more reasonable in pricing. read more

We are new to the area and have ordered two different types of pizza from this place in the past couple of months. Both were excellent. The first was a Chicago style deep-dish which I absolutely loved. My husband is not a deep-dish style kind of guy, so the next time we ordered the classic combo. It was great. Each time, we ordered online and picked it up. Both times it was ready when we arrived to pick it up and the gentleman behind the counter was very friendly. We've been pretty pleased with Rosati's in the past, usually ordering 2-3 times a month. Quality can be inconsistent, but usually pretty darn good. Called in to order today, usually order online but was on the way home from work. They knew me from past orders, and then told me they couldn't add anything to the signature pizza I wanted to order. Why not? I've ordered the same thing online many times and happy to pay for additional toppings. Decided to go elsewhere, did not like the unhelpful attitude. Went to Rosati's pizza tonight and the food was excellent! I recently moved to the area and have had a hard time finding a good Pizzaria. Stopped in shortly after opening, met the manager, told her i am a neighbor and would give a try. And i tried a couple weeks ago, called in order for 5PM pickup, arrived at 5:05 and dufus told me I was early. My 5PM pizza was ready at 5:20. Tonight Friday night, pizza night, back to Lou Malnate's And worse yet, sent email to myrosatis.com, and they said not responsible for this issue is their issue, is a franchise, take it up with them. wow, they do not give a shit. Then they email me again saying I left a delicious pizza in my cart. When I report it's left there because the code they sent doesn't work, they reply that It was an old code that expired.
