**BEWARE! ** This was my first time ever visiting a Lowe's... and I'm never entering any Lowe's again due to severe emotional trauma from an employee harassing me and accusing me of stealing. This place doesn't deserve a check-in, but I'll supply a receipt photo as my check-in. Here is a very lengthy detailed story (mainly for the supervisor).... read on if you want fellow yelpers. I won't be naming any names as I already made a complaint to the store manager. I came in looking for an air inflator, specifically the Craftsman brand, $64 from when I checked online. I walked up to an employee (the harasser) and said... "hi, excuse me".... and he proceeded to ignore me, then a few seconds later, decided to answer. I ignored his bad attitude, asked my question, and he pointed me to a Kobalt brand that was for "$35" (or so I thought but I was looking at the wrong price label on the shelf). I asked if there was a Craftsman brand and he walked me over to the other item. After deciding to get the Kobalt, I went through self-checkout and scanned my item only to realize that the actual price was $50; just $14 off from the Craftsman. I thought it was a $30 difference, but whatever... I'll just go home and try the Kobalt to see if I like it. Paid for my items. BUT! The computer wasn't printing my receipt.... so I had to ask the employee at the checkout for a reprint receipt, and he had to ask another employee for help. My purchase was in their computer system, but they couldn't get it to print my receipt. I had also entered my phone # for in case of "returns without a receipt." After a couple minutes of failed attempts, I suggested to them that I'll just go exchange this item with the Craftsman I wanted, and pay the difference so I could get an actual receipt. They agreed and told me to grab my exchange item (which was only 10 feet away) and head to customer service for the exchange. So, I went to the customer service with my PAID item and my exchange item. There at the desk were 4 employees (3 ladies and the 1 harasser) @ 2135 on a Saturday. Lady: "Do you have a receipt?" (For the Return/exchange) Me: """I don't have a receipt, but .....""" Harasser: "NO YOU DON'T, BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T BUY IT!!" he screams, while standing behind the lady. Me: .... "BUT they're trying to print my receipt at the check-out right now, and it's not printing" Harasser: "NO YOU DIDN'T GO THROUGH CHECKOUT!" Me: ... "yes, I did" Harasser: ....starts talking out of his a$$ ... "NO YOU DIDN'T, YOU DIDN'T, YOU DIDN'T" "YOU DIDN'T BUY IT!! YOU WERE WALKING AROUND THE STORE WITH THE 2 ITEMS AND CAME TO THE CHECKOUT TO TRY AND DO A RETURN/EXCHANGE SCHEME WITHOUT A RECEIPT! IM THE ONE THAT HELPED YOU! DON'T YOU REMEMBER?!?" Me:... "why don't you go check!" (Guy walks to the check-out, confirms my story, and never comes back to apologize).... I feel really bad for any coworkers that need to work with this guy and for any customers that had to deal with his extremely psychotic bad attitude. The rest of the employees were nice and helpful and were apologizing to me on his behalf even though it wasn't their fault at all. The store had some things that Home Depot doesn't have, which is why I actually went there in the first place... I was shaking in terror and indignation and could barely contain myself from the horrors inflicted upon me. I honestly don't know what this guy was thinking to accuse me with no basis of proof and to not even let me finish my sentence with the lady at the customer service counter. If the store has problems with people stealing and doing weird things with Returns, then they need to hire a Loss Prevention team and not have security protocols be enforced by employees who aren't trained to work in the field. Lowe's COVINA it's staff, our adventure started with a sale they have going , BUY MORE GET MORE BACK...to cut the story a bit here my wife went to check on a washer and dryer we wanted, was out of stock. We use Lowe's for eeeverything in our home when we went for a full remodel, and so she set the notification to let her know when it's back in stock. SCENE 2 : DING ! There's a washer and dryer in stock ! She pulls over adds it to the cart, checks out! We scored our washer and dryer ! ... BUUUUT the promotion didn't automatically go tru, spent more than 1,999.99, should get $300 back. No biggy calls customer service, should be an easy fix right ? It's on the promotion, fine print, online / in store purchases..... enter the phone representative, wife explains their own promotion, Representative has none of it, she claimed the product is already on sale and does not qualify, wife explains it again to her but her solution to the issue was, "you can go in store and try talking to them" ........ blehhh back to Covina (20min drive) we go..... SCENE 3 : We arrive at the store, head to customer service. We're greeted by a nice representative first, explained the issue, she calls their head cashier at the time also we explain the issue, but to our surprise customer service already had noted that we will be heading to the store and that we were already explained , THEY FLAGGED US!! BLOCKED OUR ORDER FROM ANY ADJUSMTENTS (so we were told) My lady and I have and kept our cool the whole, my wife takes the head cashier to the where the appliance is shows her the fine print and explains to her it qualifies for the discount... again seeing how CORPORATE already blocked the order, and going with what they had noted she said "SORRY" and didn't help....at all. SCENE 4: My wife and I soooo lost , like are they serious???? So she decides to take it upon her self (my wife) and asked the head of the appliance if he could give us a hand. This gentleman, such a helpful soul, immediately looked into it, offered to ring one up because it should go tru, and my people ..... after 3 hours on the phone with customer service, and another hour and a half at the store, the man SCANNED THE BARCODE THE PROMOTION....and IT WORKED. It went tru, it does apply, it did apply it should have been a 15min fix that took HOURS !!!!!..... but wait There's more. SCENE 5 and I'll make this the last one. We head back to the front of the store and in a super nice way pretty much said "I told you so" Now please fix it so we can go home.... Surprisingly she was able to fix it, something that wasn't allowed earlier, and lousy like that were told out dryer will be here Sunday since it's in the truck already just waiting to be unloaded (2-3) days. We'll Sunday rolls around no tracking or update, we call the store, "oh it's out for delivery already here's the number for the shipping company call them and they'll let you know details" we call the company... " sorry but the store canceled the delivery and changed it to September 12th" What ? !! I had already moved everything around for the new one. I have no washer n dryer!!!. We call them back talk to the manager "V" and she tells my wife, it's not sept, it's actually mid November, and only thing she can do is cancel the order... DIDNT OFFER TO HELP FIND ONE, didn't bother to let us know WHY the date was changed just CANCEL... Horrible leader, horrible attitude, it's clear the team has a horrible leader and it reflects. So we Canceled our order with the Covina store, (which also ended up being huge hassle but that's for another day lol) The washer and dryer are now at the Huntington Beach Lowe's, the manager there "J" was helpful, gave us details, looked around for it and found it. We should be getting our washer and dryer THURSDAY .... I worked customer service for years, dealt with people who are A holes, but when my wife and I spoke to the representative on the phone with respect, when we spoke with the head cashiers in person with respect and not once raised our voice, demanded an additional discount, nothing. We just wanted you guys to do what you guys are supposed to do, help when we have an issue, and HONOR YOUR OWN PROMOTIONS WITHOUT HAVING YOUR CUSTOMERS HAVING TO EXPLAIN TO YOUR TEAM something they should already know. Found a scratch n dent microwave for $159. New one is on sale for $199. Asked manager if he'd discount a little more since a new one is only $40. Spoke with manager. He said no. Then we asked if we buy it as is, can we return if it has issues. Manager said no. Wtf? He was so abrupt and unhelpful. Then when we decided to just get the new one for $199, they were not in stock. I come to this Lowe's ever so often and it is pretty big, like all the other Lowe's stores that I have been to in the past. Employees here are pretty helpful and friendly when you are looking for a particular item. But sometimes it can be a challenge to find one around though. Pricing here is pretty fair for a lot of the home improvement items that we have purchased so far (similar pricing to their rival Home Depot). Clean store, aisles neat and things seem to be regularly stocked. Overall, no complaints and a good place to go for home improvement needs. read more

Where to start... My mother in law ordered a refrigerator 2 weeks ago they gave her a delivery date 2 weeks after the date of purchase, which she made sure she cleared her a busy schedule to make sure she was home for the delivery...the evening before she gets a call and is told delivery won't be until November...NOVEMBER! Did I mention it's only the 2nd week in August and her purchase was made the 1st of August!!!! So we make our way to Lowe's to talk to someone in customer service thinking maybe we can get a loner till then...we'll that didn't happen...not only could they not give a loner the "manager" didn't even come out to say sorry, a no on a loner or to even try and compensate for the long wait of 2 weeks to just let her know it was going to take 3 months for the delivery! I decided to give 2 stars instead of one because the customer service employee was as helpful as he can be since his manager left him high and dry to deal with the problem on his own so the stars are really for him. After she demanded a refund she decided to close her credit card account with them as well(I agree on her choice) My in-laws now have to search around for a refrigerator and start the process all over again. I ordered a refrigerator, range, and dishwasher from Lowe's online. I also paid to have the dishwasher installed. The refrigerator and range were delivered on time with no issues; however, the dishwasher had to be delivered separately because it needed to be installed. Lowes contracts out to different companies to do their installations. Unfortunately they have a problem with their computer system and could not let the installers know about my order so they couldn't schedule me. It took a week to get it finally straightened out. My Thermador Wall Oven/Microwave stop working just before Christmas. I called a repair company the repairman said the parts were no longer available for the Thermador Microwave the upper part of the oven. I headed to Best Buy where my daughter bought all the appliances for her kitchen. The salesman no longer worked for Best Buy. The supervisor on duty used to be friendly he seemed a little tougher to work with. I drove over to Lowe's Covina. I told the salesman that I need an oven with a microwave. I showed him a GE model that Costco was selling. He told me that he would match Costco price and options in their ad. I purchased the GE oven with delivery scheduled for after the first of the year. The oven arrived arrived at Lowe's from the factory the first week of January. Shawna at Lowe's in the Installation Department Scheduled an appointment with an installation company that took a couple of days. Then a contract had to be drawn up for the custom installation. The installation cost $160.00 and was scheduled for a few days later. GE Appliances Fit Wall Oven Guarantee will reimburse the cost of the custom installation. I had a couple of questions about the installation and I didn't know who to call at the store. I called Lowe's Customer Service the representative listen and said someone will call me within 24 hours. I received a call a few hours later from Shawna and we worked out all the issues on the installation. read more

During COVID-19, I have opted to use Lowe's curbside pick up and both times I have had to wait an excessive amount of time for my orders. The first time, I ordered two mirrored closet doors. Please note that I did not arrive for pickup until I got an email, saying the order was ready. When I parked in the designated space there was one other car waiting. I called the phone number on the parking stall sign and it took them 10 minutes to answer my call. This was right around the same time the customer service guy got to my car to ask me for my info. It took another 30 minutes to bring out my order. In the time it took my filled order to get into my car, three other cars (that pulled up after me) got their merchandise and left. I decided to give them another chance today. I ordered an interior door and a tube of silicone. I pulled up to the curbside parking spaces and I was the only car there. I immediately called the number on the sign, selected option 2 (curbside pickup) and went straight to music. After 10 minutes, I finally got out and proceeded to walk in. My call was finally answered as I walked in. There appears to not be any hurry when it comes to contactless pickup. I could have walked the entire store and loader my own items into my truck faster than they operate here. I'm very disappointed. read more

This is a new store and I love it. So much better than the Home Depot that used to be here. Lowes is not always the cheapest option, but it definitely is a more pleasant experience than Home Depot. The clientele is better and you are not hounded by day workers in the parking lot. We went looking for a ceiling fan and a air purifier. We got assistance from the staff and found what we needed quickly. Associates were available for questions and were pretty nice on top of it all. First off. Our salesperson Michael was an absolute douche canoe. We wanted a specific Refrigerator, and he kept trying to upsell us a bigger more expensive frig. We needed a small frig due to space and he kept trying to sell us a larger frig. And then when he realized we weren't buying it, he tried to sell us a smaller frig other than the one we wanted. We kept telling him we wanted a specific frig. We finally went through with the sale, and in the end, he snuck in a frig we did not want. I did not pay attention to my receipt and realized upon delivery that Michael sold us the wrong frig. I am very upset with that jerk face.
