Today I tried to return a strawberry plant to Lowe's in Prescott, as. It lasted 2 weeks. I had the receipt. They would not take it back because it was food! What idiots! They always say a year warranty on plants or 90 days on other stuff. What liars. Musreoresentung. After the return I was going to buy double bathroom vanity, shower and tub. I had a flood in my 4 year old house. I also need wall board, insulation, etc. I will not buy anything from a company that will not stand behind their products. They may have saved their $7.(cost of plant) but lost major sale on master bath rebuild. Buyer beware! read more

Terrible customer service. I had a door and window installation started back in early March that still hasn't been completed. I was sold (by their expert) french doors with screens that, according to the installer, don't work on my house (whatever that means). The installer took the screen doors back to Lowe's and said I would hear back from Lowe's. He also said that I would see a credit on my account for the screens. Neither thing happened. Lowe's never contacted me and a credit never appeared on my account. Finally after several weeks I had to call Lowe's and continue to call in order to get what I've already paid for. I was charged an additional $234 for replacement screens that are supposed to actually work. Still having to call to get installation going. Also, the sliding glass door (Milgard) they sold me already broke and will not lock. Very very poor quality to go along with the equally poor service. I've spent over $10,000 at Lowe's in the last 6 months. This experience has made me regret every penny they got from me. I know I'm not a big customer in the grand scheme of things but what I can tell you from my experience is this: Lowe's values their customers all the way up until the check clears. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on and sharing my experience with anyone who cares to listen. Buyer beware! read more

We recently moved to Prescott and needed to purchase refrigerator, and washer & dryer. I went online and ordered them. I received an immediate email confirmation but more significantly I also received a phone call from the store to set up the delivery time. The next day they called to say the washer/dryer were on back order. I told them we would come into the store and choose a different model or make. When we arrived the service rep was incredible, he first informed us that he personally would not recommend the brand we had chosen. He showed us several alternatives he recommended and we made a choice. The brand we had originally picked was a top name brand, when I got home I went online to see reviews and found it had terrible reviews. I since have visited the store numerous times and always find the staff very helpful and find a much greater product selection then the other home improvement store. read more

I would like to know why today at Prescott Lowes, there was a Mexican DJ blasting Mexican rap music outside the Lowes blog..when I went inside the store, all I heard over the store loud speakers was Spanish announcements. WHY? Thought I had been transported to Mexico. read more

Purchased a Maytag washer less than six months ago and it has broken down twice. Didn't purchase extended warranty because we expected Lowes appliances to last longer than 6 months. When I enter Lowes I feel like the invisible woman. The salesmen won't look at me and yesterday I stood at the appliance sales center for 10 minutes listening to their phone conversations and not one of the three even looked up and nodded. I headed up to the customer service desk with my appliance item number in hand and the sales woman didn't even let me finish asking my question before sending me back to the appliance center. As I was leaving (without a refrigerator, microwave, or new countertops) a clerk asked how I was; he did not ask if he could help me. There are plenty of sales people at Lowes but they appear to be more interested in each other than the customer. read more

Me and my 89 year old mother were getting molding for the house. 3 employees at computer not one of them came over to ask if we needed help loading 12 ft base boards onto cart WOW --- one of them helped a lady with a low cut tank top on?? And she didn't buy anything. We did buy here only because home deport didn't carry the style of molding. read more

Moved here from CA 90 days ago. We had to make some purchases a head of time. It went so smoothly, I had to pinch myself. Plus all the staff were pleasant, professional, and had personality! Everyone went out of their way to help us through a stressfull move. A special thanks to Chris, Brian, Josh, and I am sure I am leaving other off, for their time and expert help. We ended up having to purchase all new appliances for our kitchen. We owe our soul to Lowes right now but know it is in good hands until we get it paid off. Would not buy anywhere else! We live in Sedona and prefer Lowe's in Prescott and don't mind the drive. Their selection of laminate flooring, floor tiles, carpeting, and outdoor garden area is a better quality than that "other store" that is closer to us in Cottonwood. We purchased a number of 6"x24" porcelain floor tiles that were extremely heavy and had no trouble finding someone to help us load them into a cart and escort us to the car and put them in the trunk (unfortunately we've become too old to be lifting heavy things and now ask for help). The clerks are very helpful and glad to help. We put the flooring down ourselves and it looks great. We overbought and were able to return 2 unopened cartons for a refund with no problem. We will be returning soon to purchase a certain trim that we are putting on our kitchen cabinets to update them....can't find it anywhere except Lowe's. Love this store. read more

Really like Lowe's, but it is usually too far to go to just for a couple items. Wish they had one in Cottonwood, AZ. Products we purchased at Lowe's were great, and they had things we couldn't find close to home. They stand behind their products, and are very helpful. read more

Regarding my Whirlpool French Door Refrigerator. Why would anyone consider that a 'funny' review. I am serious when I say appliances are not made the way they used to be. I am also serious when I say I'm taking a chance on another French Door when I had one for three years that died. Hopefully the Whirlpool brand will be better. read more

We ordered a washer and dryer on Black Friday, November 25th. We were told it would be delivered Dec 20. We went to Lowes on December 19th because hey never called us for a delivery time! Well, Lowes never called us to say it wasn't even in the store yet. Talked with Kraig the store manager and he said he would check into it. Two hours later Jason called to say it was in Wyoming at the distribution center and would take about a week to get here and scheduled delivery for December 28th. Again, we never heard from Lowes to say it won't be delivered again! Their policy is to call you on the day it should be delivered to tell you it isn't here. So what if you took the day off work expecting it to be delivered that day. This is their policy!!! Great Customer service! (Sarcasm if you haven't guessed) now they are telling us it won't be at the distribution center until January 6th and won't be delivered until 7-10 days after that! (I don't know what to believe anymore, not sure it will be here then either!) Meanwhile we have paid in full for something we don't even have! DO NOT BUY ANY APPLIANCE FROM THIS STORE OR FROM LOWE'S IN GENERAL! They lie about delivery times, they lie about call-backs to schedule a delivery, they lie about "free" take-away, and they lie about "free" installation! And the bozos at the Prescott store don't even know how to read a work order!!! I mean, how tough is it to see that the dryer you ordered is gas and not electric?!? Lowe's is great. I had to buy new appliances for my kitchen. And toilets and ceiling fans and so many other things. For me, Home Depot is difficult--hard to find things, not enough employees--at Lowe's, I got waited on immediately by Brian, who was helpful and pleasant and who steered me in the right direction. He saved me money and time. He brought in Chris, when there were installation questions. The selection was good, the prices are excellent and customer service is wonderful. I ordered a refrigerator from a different Lowes to be delivered through the Prescott store. I scheduled the delivery, and received a confirmation email two days before. I was waiting to hear what my window of delivery but never received an email or phone call. So I called, only to be told the refrigerator was not even in the store. I had arranged my time to be available that day. I ordered three weeks prior, so this was not a rush job. They wanted to reschedule for another two weeks, costing me another day off. Finally, after mentioning cancelling the order they managed to reschedule for Friday of the same week, again costing me another day off. Again, on the (second) scheduled delivery, I did not receive an email or phone call, so I (again) called them. Again, I was told I was not scheduled for delivery. After some wrangling, they did deliver. I sit her now with a refrigerator that was not locked and rolls when one attempts to open a door. Great!! Think twice about ordering from them, read more

We have had this experience before and thought it was a fluke. For the second time we went to Lowe's to buy patio door. We paid $35 upfront for the installer to come out and measure so we could then go in and choose a door. He was here the next day June 22nd and took the measurements. That was the last we heard from Lowe's. We have called and no one answers the phone in the department. We have gone to the store twice and have been told they would check it out and call us back. No call. We went in again today and after yet another wasted 20 min. they can't seem to find our order but will call us when they do. Interestingly we did receive a call a few days ago thinking it was to tell us we could come in and choose our door, but it was a person soliciting us to purchase a door and get a discount of 10%. 3 years ago we bought another patio door from Lowe's and it went just as well taking over 2 months to finally have the door installed. Certainly could use some communication and organizational skills. It takes a lot of patience and a mild temperament to do business with this store. Lesson learned. read more

The blinds section of Lowe's in Prescott is extremely pathetic. They have wasted my time for three weeks while we have been trying to buy blinds for our whole house-14 windows. It took forever because the first guy who came to measure did not measure everything. So we needed them send him out again. However this first guy got fired, but nobody told us . It took eight days before someone went out to get the second measuresments. Then we waited another week for them to final our plan. They finally called to say our plan was ready. We go in to find out that they lost one of the pages of measurements, and the plan did not include four of our windows. We walked out of telling each other that we can't trust to order the blinds correctly, so we are done with Lowe's. We will buy our blinds from someone else. read more
