This store is ran terribly. Every department is dumbfounded on what their job is and nobody will ever call you back no matter how many times they tell you they will. Customer Service repeatedly drops the ball and the Appliance guys are extremely unprofessional. Don't even get me started on delivery, ordered some appliances back in December and they are still having issues fulfilling the order to this day! I do love the Lowes. Really enjoy the massive selection and ease of returns...when there's not a long line (but rarely over 3 customers). Staff is usually knowledgible, and if they don't know the answer, usually they will find someone that does. It seems that most of the employees tend to enjoy their jobs, which is great! Needed 4 carbon monoxide alarms. Went online to Home Depot and found a plug-in model but I would have to wait 4-7 days plus 3 days for order processing. It defaulted to the Anaheim store but I could change to Tustin store. So I checked out Lowes, which I'd probably do anyway. Lowes had the same item for $2 less and had in-store pick up the same day. It recognized my closest store as Tustin so it defaulted there. The receipt said I'd get an email when it was ready for pick-up but they actually called about 2 hours later that my order was ready and she was friendly. I also like that it's easy to opt out of Lowes marketing. I have not received any marketing emails yet but I'm not waiting and have already emailed to opt out of all marketing. You simply click Privacy Statement at the very bottom of the page for instructions. Previously I went here with both good and so-so experiences. Good was when an employee helped me find an obscure piece of hardware. So so was when I was looking for air conditioners and was underwhelmed with the apathetic help. Worst customer service ever. They had an online promotion for an item that was supposed to last until Oct. I rented a truck to go pick it up 45 days before the end of the sale and showed them the picture of their own website, and I told me that they don't care what used to be on the website, only what is on it right now. I guess the lesson here is that when it comes to Lowe's, they will say whatever to get you in the store, but have no intention of honoring anything that they advertised. I'm really disappointed by the customer service I have received here on multiple occasions. Today was just so shockingly disrespectful I have to say something. I was visiting the paint section and noticed it was busy so being conscious of others space I stood in line 6 feet away to ask my question.m about finding a matte black paint. Carol was the associate who was helping a customer before me. When the woman left my sister law and I stepped forward to ask our question. Carol looked at us and muttered "Oh God" under her breath and looked visually upset that we had the audacity to stand in the line and ask her for anything. I said "I'm sorry what" she replied to that "nothing". I could see she may have been overwhelmed by the previous customers order but I haven't even uttered a single word to her. I told her "if you need to do something it's ok, we can wait" she rolled her eyes again and told us "she just can't remember everything that needs to be done and we should come back later" I understand being overwhelmed at work especially retail what bugged me was the disrespectful attitude. I would never take that tone to a customer who has said nothing let alone if they asked me for 75 gallons of paint. There was no reason for her to make this comment that our presence was bothering her process. She could have told us she would be right with us and gone about her business but this was unacceptable and rude. Load a hand truck with 12 bags of mulch by 6pm. Cashier gone. Gate locked. Attendant says "sorry, you need to go all the way thru the store, pay and haul you stuff back to your car". But the sign says 7pm. "I don't know". Who knows? "I don't know". Who's the manager "I don't know". Why does it say 7pm and it's closed at 6? Right......I don't know. No wonder they had to close OSH. What was supposed to be a quick in and out plunged purchase turned into a 30minute 3 employee fiasco. The girl who tried helping me checkout with a gift card couldn't slide/ read so she punched it in the machine multiple times before manually doing a balance check that clearly showed plenty of $$$ left. Without further helping me she told me to go to customer service. Another girl came to greet me at customer service and I had to explain to her what happened. She does the same exact thing just to ask for another girl next to her for assistance. Honestly it's not hat hard to reissue a new gift card since you successfully verified the balance. This is the closest Lowe's to my house, and I was happy to find out that it's a good one. I stopped in briefly to try and find some faucets for a renovation project that my comapny is working on, and was helped by one of the greatest customer service professionals I've ever come across! I wish I'd gotten his name so that I could publicly praise him...all I know is that he works in the plumbing section, and he REALLY knows his stuff! The store was clean, staffed accordingly for the time of evening that I was there, and very pleasant overall. Very impressed with the customer service I received. It was the last day of 10% off Pergo flooring. A new employee was unfamiliar with special orders and asked me to check back tomorrow. He said they would honor the discount. I said no problem. I went to make some keys. I just found special blanks that were a given to me as a gift purchased from Orchard 5 years ago. Orchard went out of business but I knew they were owned by Lowe's so I asked if they would cut them for me. Yes they did FOR FREE. Employee Kiyam was there and ask me if there was anything else he could help me with. I told him about the Pergo flooring I wanted to order but needed to do it the next day. He was able to order it on the spot and was happy to help me. Impressive knowledge and customer service. I love that their credit card offers a 5% discount too. read more

This review is solely on the DELIVERY people. I had an order from Lowes.com for a washer and dryer on Wednesday and Thursday rolls around while I am out and about running errands saying my washer and dryer are going to be at my home in 15 minutes but I was not aware of this and the message was late. So I call the number for the delivery people and they told me that I have to call to speak to the delivery manager. I told him that we are moving to Corona and was wondering if my order can be delayed delivery from the Corona store and he informed me that I have to take the machines from their store or cancel the order which was what we did not want to do. So I told him my husband can just pick them up in his truck but I was reassured that it was no problem for the delivery so he scheduled it for Sunday and I would get a call Saturday night regarding the time frame for my delivery. My delivery was scheduled for 12:30-02:30pm and we were waiting around and when 2:30 came and went I called to get an update and was told I would get a call back with an updated delivery time. Another hour goes by and it is now 4:30 and my husband was told 6:30. Then 30 minutes later I get a call and told 7:00pm. So 7:00pm rolls around and nothing. So we called again and was told within the hour. 8:30 rolls around and we call again and get told 30 minutes because they are just down the street!!!! 9:30 rolls around and I get a call telling me that the delivery guys went home already and could not complete my delivery! Um hey we waited hours for you to show up and no one ever called until I called to get updates. So unprofessional! My kids missed out on going to the beach today because you guys dropped the ball and I found out we were delivery #12! How were you going to give a delivery window of 12:30-2:30 if we were the last delivery of the day? I think there is some funny business going on. This is not right at all! I do know that I may just get the extended warranty from the manufacturer instead of Lowes and the hoses from Home Depot or Sears. This is not ok at all. After my husband picked up our machines, Pancho had told us that the delivery guy got hurt Saturday so no deliveries went out on Sunday! I am so livid because when we called the delivery people, they kept saying the guy was on his way! They lied! They knowingly lied! I think that they should do more for us than send a check for 50 bucks after the 4 hr delay mark! How about throw in my warranties for my machines since we had to pick them up and for the lies the delivery dispatch told us to get us off the phone? read more

Trying to order window coverings through Lowes is an absolute nightmare. I had them out to measure my windows and when I went into the store to order I couldn't even get proper help. The person working was horribly rude and uneducated on the blinds - I believe her name is Sharon. I ended up leaving bc I didn't have the time to wait and wasn't getting my questions answered. I went back another day and the same person was working. I tried starting the purchasing process again and she informed me she's from the Cabinet department and was just filling in so again couldn't answer my specific questions around adding inches for stacking and the motorized options. I ended up asking her for my measurements so I could order online at home. She refused to give me the measurements for my own windows, which I paid $20 for. I kept telling her I preferred to order at home so I could make sure I had enough space above my windows for stacking. She tried telling me it's impossible to order custom blinds at home and I offered to show her where I'm able to do this on the website. She finally handed over my measurements with a "huff". Such a horrible and off-putting experience when I'm spending thousands and thousands of dollars on window coverings. Well, my window coverings have finally arrived after being backordered for almost 4 months and I can't get the proper help from Lowes to get them installed. I've now called a total of 5 times. The first time I was informed that every motorized blind costs an additional $50 each for installation - NO ONE ever told me that... remember how I mentioned at the beginning of this review how I went to the store 2 TIMES to try to order in person and got horrible service?? I've gone back and forth on the phone with them now 5 times and am getting nowhere - every single time they say they need to go help someone standing in the store and will call me back. Overall a horrible experience. I should have taken the thousands I spent and went elsewhere. Happy to pay more for good customer service. Lowes is horribly understaffed and the tall, grouchy lady with glasses from "Cabinets" should not be filling in to sell blinds. Beyond disappointed in the service from start to finish. I had seen online that the Tustin Lowes had 54" green tomato cages, so I went to the store to purchase one. I looked in the area where the tomato cages were, however I did not see the one I wanted. I asked one of the garden center employees if there was another location where the tomato cages were kept. He was not helping any customers and was near the cash registers talking to 2 other Lowes employees. He pointed in the general direction of the tomato cages and said those are all the tomato cages they have and they don't carry 54" green tomato cages and he had been there 12 years. Today when making a purchase at Lowe's, in Tustin, I found the cashier to be very unhelpful. My husband is a veteran and when we signed up for the veteran's discount at Lowe's, we were told by a Lowe's employee that I would be able to make purchases for my husband and receive his veteran's discount by providing the telephone number on file. He has had a stroke which has made it is very difficult for him to walk, so he usually sends me when he needs something. This morning, I purchased paint and was given the veteran's discount as requested, however later in the day I returned for another gallon of paint, and was told that I would not be able to get the veteran's discount. I live closer to a HD, but up until now I was willing to drive a little further to receive the discount. I doubt that I will be shopping at Lowe's again. read more

I don't want to give Lowe's even one star. I bought dishwasher, hood, oven and counter top on August 15th. When I made the payment the sales person told me it would take 10 days and he could contact me as soon as possible when the appliances were ready. After a couple of days I was told the estimated delivery date was September 12th and I called many times to say that I couldn't wait for so long. Finally until September 1st, the appliances were delivered to my house. After my kitchen was remodeled, I found the hood didn't work and when I went to the store the man there told me to call the vendor Kitchenaid. No one told me that in 30 days I could get replacement or refund. After I contacted Kitchenaid many times ( the hotline was very difficult to connect) and with no result, I went to Lowe's again and the customer service person told me that because after 30 days I couldn't refund or replace it. But the first time I went there, it was in 30 days! I was very disappointed with the service and also the product quality of Kitchenaid. I wish I didn't buy anything of Kitchenaid there. I had a negative experience when purchasing my dishwasher here. My in store experience was mediocre. I didn't find the staff to be very helpful of knowledgeable. The worst part of my experience was delivery. They told me that my dishwasher would arrive on a Tuesday morning, and that I would receive a call on Monday informing me when the dishwasher would arrive. I got a call on Monday, saying that my dishwasher would arrive before noon. This was fine, because I had taken the day off. On Tuesday morning, I got a call from the store letting me know that there was a delay and that my dishwasher would be coming on WEDNESDAY. I was extremely upset because I had work the following day and could not take another day off for a dishwasher delivery. The person on the phone had ZERO EMPATHY and essentially told me "it is what it is". I asked him to speak to a manager and have the manager call me back. Hours went on and I never got my call. Around 11:30AM, I got a ring at my doorbell and THERE WAS THE DISHWASHER! Complete fiasco!! Thankfully I was still home. Around 2PM I got a call from the store team letting me know that it would be coming later this afternoon... complete fail, given the dishwasher was sitting in my living room. Lowe's has the worst delivery service. I bought a gas range from them and they said they would deliver the next day. Took two days to wait for the delivery only to wait in vain. Called the store several times only to be told that I was not in the schedule and they would deliver on the day I was not home. Very frustrating and disappointing for their bad delivery service. Had to go through hoops trying to talk to staff on scheduling delivery until they finally did an "EMERGENCY DELIVERY" before I could get my gas range. Went into Lowe's this morning (Monday) to purchase a replacement gas hot water heater. In the past few years we've bought a couple of appliances from Lowe's and had good experiences with them. Not today. It took ten minutes to find someone to talk to and another 15 minutes to find the appliance person. We told him which water heater we wanted and he typed in the order and that we wanted them to install it. Then he loaded up the water heated and headed to the front so we could buy it. The cashier was confused as she had no way to enter the installation price. So much discussion ensued with many different people. Finally a manager showed up and said they could not sell us a water heater, and we had to buy one with installation from a third party. It is rare to see such a lack of job knowledge on display. No one had a clue as to Lowe's procedures. Needless to say we went elsewhere. read more

I don't know what's going on at Lowe's but my past three shopping trips there have been exceptional. Each time I was there I experienced sales staff that went out of their way to make me happy! They were so attentive to my search for products and stood by me with the upmost care and I loved every minute of it! My wife and I ordered a dual sink bathroom vanity with a marble top and both sinks. Everything was delivered quickly and everything was in good shape. Putting the vanity in the bathroom was the problem. The company that Lowe's used for deliveries was courteous, but they put a couple of dings in the hallway wall. I need to repair it and paint it. Overall, I'd use Lowe's again. read more

If anyone has ever been to this particular Lowes you would know it's the best one! We came to this Lowes because we happened to be nearby and in search of new appliances. Almost immediately we were greeted by Beau who was was willing to help us with any department we needed help in. I am an extremely picky customer and ask alot of questions and not once did Beau seem irritated or in a rush to do something else. It was not until about 20 minutes into our conversation that I realized that Beau is actually the store manager. I couldn't believe the time and care he took to make sure that all of our questions were answered and that we were happy with our purchases! Today 2 months later I drove to Beau's store even though there is one much closer to my house and was given the exact same customer service from Beau and his team that I was given the first time! Then after a week they told us by the end of July and they would call us when they received it. It's now August 9th and no call or update. I bought a toilet from Lowe's and paid installation fee $139.00. Lowe's sent a contracted plumber to my house. The plumber took down my old toilet and charged me $439.00 for a flange. I had no choice to proceed and paid the fee since he said if I don't do it , he would leave the toilet opening just like that. The toilet installation should not Cost $578.00. read more

Went in to buy some moving boxes it was very convenient that they were right by the entrance of the store however upon checking out I was standing in line in my designated square practicing social distancing when one of the store super stars 5000 iq rudely yelled at me that the line started "over there!!" I proceeded to tell her those people are waiting for the self check out, "no everybody wait in one line and we'll call you when it's your turn"! I didn't know I was at the dmv waiting for my number to be called. Very rude employee I wish I would've looked at her name badge to include it here. Came here to pick up a storage cabinet, the store was pretty empty for a Sunday. All the cabinets were at the very top shelf which we needed help getting down. Went to look for help and ended getting the opposite of what you would expect from an employee very rude and unprofessional and disrespectful to my wife. I guess we should have stuck to Home Depot.
