Been ordering from here for 10 years and recently almost weekly receiving consistently good food and quick delivery, but the customer service when calling to report an issue for the very first time ever left me feeling awful. We order about $100 of food nearly each week, leave $10 tips or more on top of their delivery fees, and order the same items - the salt and pepper chicken became our favorite and usually comes overflowing and perfectly cooked, until tonight. I opened up our 2 orders of the salt and pepper chicken to find the chicken a good inch sunken down from the top and dried out, shriveled pieces of chicken in both containers. I have never called to complain before, but having ordered it multiple times and never having it come dried out like this, I wanted our guests to see what we have been raving about, so I requested they send new ones. The initial man who answered passed the phone to the manager, who thoroughly questioned me while he rudely said he watched it being cooked and it went right out, so basically saying my claim was untrue...after several minutes on the phone of me describing the food and saying it has never been like this before and it's usually perfect, but this was the first time it has been dried out like this, he agrees to send out 2 new orders that must be exchanged for the old ones...weird but ok since it wasn't acceptable to eat in the first place. Then one of the other workers said to me that his "coworkers were not happy" with me for making them redo it...this is the reason for the poor review. I should note that the new ones prepared were perfectly cooked and overflowing the container per usual, and totally different than the overcooked ones sent. I understand mistakes happen and it can occasionally be of lower quality than normal, but I expected a much different response from management when calling to report an issue for the first time. Instead of just apologizing and replacing the poor quality food, he chose to belittle me and make me feel like I was somehow being deceitful and trying to get free food instead of just getting what I paid for. Super disappointed as this was our go-to Chinese restaurant, but after the way this was handled, I will be on the lookout for a new place. read more

A great find over the holidays! The dishes had meat you could recognize and the food wasn't overly salty so it didn't leave you with that dehydrated feeling. If you want to stay, ok. Food was very bland, basically a fast food carry out joint. Ready in 10-15 minutes. Fair warning, my favorite Chinese restaurant has been closed for months and I haven't been able to find a suitable backup. I decided to give Lucky Panda a try and, well, it was OK. I'll probably try them again in the future, but my hopes aren't particularly high. The lunch meal I had today - beef chop suey - came with an egg roll and chicken fried rice. The chicken fried rice is disappointing. The bits of chicken in it are dry and colorless, there's no vegetables at all, and not much flavor to it in general. They'd be way better off serving a simple plain steamed rice instead. For me, this is what brought them from a 4 to a 3-star review. If they're going to force the chicken fried rice on you (I didn't see other options when I ordered online), at least make it good. No complaints about the egg roll; it was exactly what I expected. Wouldn't order it on purpose, but I finished the one that came with my meal. The chop suey itself was drenched in sauce. That's a matter of personal preference, in my opinion, so I wouldn't necessarily dock the rating over it, but I'm a "light sauce" kind of person. The meat was fine, tasted good and the quantity was very good. The veggies were alright. Quantities were off for my preferences (so. many. bean sprouts.), but the flavor was right. Finally! I found a good Chinese spot close-ish to me. We tried the combination fried rice, shrimp lo mein, the Three Start Sizzling, potstickers, and crab rangoons. Everything was great. I marked that we had a food allergy on some of the items and they even called to make sure we knew which items would not be safe. Very much appreciated. Sadly it's a teensy bit far from our house but will definitely be our new go-to for Chinese. Will give their smoothies a try next time. read more

Pardon the pun but we were very "Lucky" to find this place. Coming from the south side of Chicago my family was looking for a Chinese restaurant that was just like the one back home. After many tries around the neighborhood, we finally found it. The food was ready before they said and we were surprised at the weight of the bags. The portions were big and better than that, the food the delicious. We had the shrimp lo mein, shrimp egg food young and crab rangoon. All awesome. Price was not bad either. read more

Great smoothies! Got the pineapple and the mango ones. Crab Rangoon were good. The lo mein was good with generous portions of beef but a little greasy and it could've used a little more flavor. We also got the hunan delight. Generous portions and large pieces of meat and veggies. My brother got the chicken fried rice. He said it had good flavor but was a little dry. My brother is really picky Friendly staff I like that you can get free crab Rangoon with $25+ order and free fried rice with 35+ order. But don't think the reward points are quite desirable/fair. Each dollar is one point and for 100 points you get one dollar off, or at least that's how it was explained on the website. So spend $100 get $1. I have to say one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the area. The foods always on point. Even during the pandemic shut down they were bringing food to the cars super friendly. The eggrolls are fantastic a lot of chicken beef dishes were absolutely perfect flavors. Some of the best combination fried rice I've ever had. Noodle dishes are always on point. Tonight, we ordered Lucky panda because Thai orchid had a two hour wait. We ordered about eight years ago and didn't love it but decided to give them another chance. The portions were huge, but the food was very bland. Normally, we order Chinese from East China Inn and for the same amount of money we spent we normally get another item or two. At close to 3 pm we still made it on the lunch special, which includes an egg roll, soup and fried rice (though we both went with plain) for $6.95. Let me tell you, this was a stupefying amount of food for under 7 bucks: there were about 2 and a half cups of rice on my plate, and that wasn't compensating for a small entree -- there was plenty of meat as well, and I enjoyed the inclusion of the crunchy water chestnuts with my kung pao beef. Dad got beef chop suey and liked it as well. I really have to hand it to the staff for stellar service: the young man who served us was pleasant, helpful and just plain "on" in all ways. I love this place. The food is always super hot and delicious for carryout. The hot and sour soup is one of the best I've had. The portions are enormous and we always end up ordering too much. Im happy this place is so close because the food is a lot better than most of the other local Asian places. Almost two years later... and I'm still loving Lucky Panda! I just recently tried somewhere else in Aurora... and it was just meh. Sorry, this place is still number one in my book! I am surprised to see some folks stating that the food is bland?? I never experience this. In fact, I prefer Lucky Panda because their food is NOT salty like other establishments. Also, I'm surprised to see some stating they aren't accepting coupons?? I just use the ones on their site... they always take them! They also accept coupons from the local Clipper Magazine as well. Sadly the food is very very bland. I had the Hong Kong steak , appetizer for 2 and salt and pepper chicken. Total came to $48 and we threw most of the appetizers away. Crab Rangoon , egg rolls and chicken sticks went straight to the trash. The beef stick and fried shrimp was edible. The salt and pepper chicken was mushy and very bland. Actually it needed salt! The T-bone from the Hong Kong steak was cooked nicely so I'm giving it one star. Another for the friendly service. The rest absolutely sucked! So disappointing!! read more

This place was decent. It's a large takeout restaurant with some booths and tables. Order off a menu at the counter. They will bring it out to your table like a to go order but with plastic utensils and paper plates. The food was decent. The crab raccoon was very good same with the egg rolls. The egg drop soup was very tasty and hot. I ordered the shrimp lo mein shrimp were huge plentiful and cooked perfectly the entire dish was very tasty. Any drinks you order will be served in a can with a separate glass of ice. My only complaint was with all of this good food they give you sorry sauce hot mustard and sweet-and-sour sauce in those little plastic care open bags. They should make their side sauces homemade and serve them in those little containers with plastic lids. Doing this would make this restaurant so much better. read more
