We love Luigi's D' Italia! This food takes me right back to New York! The pizza and the pasta. We dined in this time, and the wall has New York plastered all over it lol I knew this place was affiliated with New York somehow! I could taste it in the food. It's delicious. The service was reflective of New York also. New Yorkers are very blunt and to the point. Sometimes service can come off as short or rude, but it's just the culture. I had the same experience at Luigi's D' Italia. The waitress we had was very short and blunt with her service. At first, I thought, wow- bad service. Then I remembered how New Yorkers are and realized that she is probably from there lol The food is very good. I love the pizza and pesto pasta. My husband loved the baked ziti and the Carbonara. You are sure to get delicious Italian food here!

This a favorite of mine and my family. We love all the homemade fresh Italian foods here. Luigi's cooks all the food, his wife makes the tiramisu and other desserts. Always a great experience and delicious food.

Had another great meal at Luigi's. Tried the tortellini D'Angelo this time. So much food! Had dinner then lunch the next day. Calamari here are really good. We got a half order this time. Pieces of squid are so large! Hubby had penne and clams. Always delicious.

This was our first visit since Luigi's relocated from Anaheim, and the food is just as amazing as we remembered! The calamari is a must-try, every dish we ordered was delicious, and the cannolis are perfect to take home and enjoy with a cup of coffee. The owners are kind and welcoming. We really hope more people discover this new location; it would be a shame to see it close. We even said that they should move to our city so we could eat there all the time!

Thin pizza. Just the way we like it! Ordered a mini cheese pizza 4 slices and a medium Margherita pizza 6 slices. Both were delicious.

Everything made fresh. Only been for dinner. Great people. Authentic small Italian food. I would only get to go because it is small but charming.

    Fettuccine and "garlic bread"

I was underwhelmed with this place. I've never had it before and my girlfriend bought me the fettuccine della casa pasta with garlic bread for a long distance date night using DoorDash. The most sad thing was the garlic bread, which was laughable. Whoever was working last night just took a store bought loaf and put it in the bag. Plain. Uncut. No garlic, no oil, nothing. Extremely low effort. The pasta itself was so-so at best. The chicken was cut in very small chunks and was dry, but edible. The pasta tasted primarily of the cream and ham. The peas did virtually nothing for the dish and the salt was coming only from the ham. If they put parmesean in the dish it was undetectable, no discernible garlic or herbs either. After an initial taste, I had to add parmesean, garlic and seasoning at home to the dish at home just to help it along. The meal was delivered warm and quickly, so they definitely moved fast, but what I got was rather disappointing and I won't recommend people this place in the future if this is the quality they can expect.

Just ordered pizza and dessert to go from here. My boyfriend and I like to think of ourselves as pizza connoisseurs and this was by far one of if not the best pizzas we have had. Staff was friendly and the restaurant was very cozy. Will DEFINITELY be coming back!

By 8:39 PM, we still had no food and no communication. When we finally went to the restaurant to figure out what was going on, the doors were locked and they weren't answering the phone. We had to knock on the door just to get someone's attention. Once we spoke to them, they claimed they called us three times to say they were out of dough, but we never received a single call. When we asked for any proof of those calls so we could show the app and request a refund, they refused to provide anything. They also said they would not refund us because the order was placed through the app, even though they never fulfilled the order. To make matters worse, another couple came in and picked up their pizza while we were there, and they said they placed their order after ours. So after waiting almost two hours, we ended up with no pizza, no refund, and no help resolving the issue. Running out of dough can happen, but the lack of communication, locked doors, unanswered phones, and refusal to help resolve the refund made this a very disappointing experience.

Tony's Little Italy "authentic" Chicago Deep Dish Pizza is a $10 pizza masquerading as a $42 pizza…read more Tony's "Chicago-Style" (it only looks like one) is closer to Little Caesar's than a true Chicago masterpiece. I tried Tony's Little Italy Pizza in Placentia for the first time and I can attest that THIS IS IN NO-WAY AN "AUTHENTIC CHICAGO DEEP DISH PIZZA" as advertised. It's not even close. I can't fault the enthusiasm of family frontmen like Taylor or his Uncle, Tony, for their contagious enthusiasm for their product, but all other comparisons end there. I lived in Chicago for more than a decade working for Leo Burnett Advertising/Chicago where the real Chicago deep dish pizza's, the standards by which you would judge "authentic," are Giordano's, Gino's East, Pizzaria Uno, and Lou Malnati's (a distant 4th in the rankings). These pizzas are HEAVY with quality ingredients and though deep dish, the crust is something that never gets in the way. In TRUE CHICAGO DEEP DISH PIZZA ingredients are 90% of the pizza, the crust 10% or less. The opposite is the case at Tony's where they make pizza's that are ALL dough and FEW ingredients. Tony's Little Italy Pizza offers a poor rendition of true Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. I ordered a 12" sausage, spinach, and mushroom - the exact same pizza I'd order at Giordano's, Gino's East, Pizzaria UNO, or Lou Malnati's countless times. What I got was a pizza that is 90% tasteless dried bread called a crust and a few tablespoons of ingredients (sausage, spinach, mushrooms) disguised under a heavy tomato sauce. In many places the unappetizing crust extended all the way to the surface hidden only by the tomato sauce topping on my pizza. Looks good but the deception ends there. I got almost no cheese, few mushrooms, skimpy sausage, and miserly spinach. This may be what one call's Chicago STYLE (and that's what Tony's should call it) pizza out here on the west coast, but this pizza definitely would not carry its own weight in Chicago. If you've eaten Chicago Deep Dish Pizza in Chicago where I've been you will easily be able to relate to everything I am saying. If you've never had a real Chicago Deep Dish Pizza then be forewarned. This isn't the real deal. It's what Little Caesar's would do if they tried to sell Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. All dough, no substance. As Scotty said in Star Trek TOS, " Fool me once-shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." We won't be going back. Appearances are deceiving!
